Мод World Map 1.14.4/1.12.2 (Карта мира)

World Map – мод на Майнкрафт 1.14.4/1.12.2, который добавляет полностью функциональную и рабочую карту мира, в которой можно найти абсолютно все биомы, в которых вы уже когда-либо были. Карта обновляет каждый чанк, в котором игрок уже находился, а если вы там не были, то карта просто закрашена черным цветом. Поэтому теперь можно запросто путешествовать за тысячи метро и не переживать за потерю вашего дома, ведь с помощью данной карты его можно будет легко найти и вернуться обратно.

Карта поддерживает поиск пещер.
Работает в серверном режиме, а также поддерживает различные дополнения.

Multiple worlds on the same server address/IP are using and writing to the same map?

This mod lets you have multiple maps on the same server address. You can freely switch between maps and create new ones at any time. Map overwriting can be prevented by choosing the right «Map Selection» mode for the type of server that you are playing on. Map selection is done in a special menu by clicking the bottom left icon on the world map screen (if the menu isn’t open by default). In the menu you can switch between Manual, World Spawn and Single modes and select/create maps by using the top-center dropdown menu. If you hover over the Map Selection option, you can read everything you need to know about each map selection mode, including Server mode. World Spawn mode is the equivalent of what was used by the world map pre 1.6. So you don’t have to downgrade the mod to still use it. Server mode is the best option for most cases because the server automatically controls your map selection based on server-side level IDs. It requires the mod to be installed on the server side. If changing the map selection mode switches your map to an empty one, you can always rebind the map that you want to be used by selecting it from the dropdown menu and confirming.

Why does the world map ask for confirmation?

A single server address can have multiple overworlds, nethers etc. It can be due to multiple sub-servers or just multiple world saves, for example a «Lobby» world and a «Game» world. Different worlds don’t have any unique identifiers on the client side, which makes it impossible to reliably differentiate between them. Because of this, the world map mod lets you have multiple world maps for each dimension on the same server address. In older mod versions, by default, map selection is Manual, which means that you are asked to confirm which map to use every time you switch dimensions/worlds/sub-servers. You can also choose one of the 2 automatic modes. Map selection is done in a special menu by clicking the bottom left icon on the world map screen (if the menu isn’t open by default). In the menu you can switch between Manual, World Spawn and Single modes and select/create maps by using the top-center dropdown menu. If you hover over the Map Selection option, you can read everything you need to know about each map selection mode, including Server mode. World Spawn mode is the equivalent of what was used by the world map pre 1.6. So you don’t have to downgrade the mod to still use it. Can’t see your waypoints on a server after installation?

Your world map has «reset» for a specific server?

Do not panic. It’s almost certainly not actually deleted (this has never happened as far as I know). Old world map versions use a world spawn-based system to separate a server into multiple maps. This system often breaks because of servers adding custom functionality to the vanilla compass item by sending fake world spawn coordinates to your game client. Make sure you update the mod to the latest version. There are now multiple map selection modes you can choose between, Manual being the default one. You can now view any world map you have on the current server address. Click the bottom left icon on the world map to open the map selection menu, if it’s not open by default. The top center dropdown menu allows you to select existing or create new world maps. You can hover over the map selection mode setting (bottom left) to read about how each mode works. Server mode is the best option for most cases because the server controls your map selection based on server-side level IDs. It requires the mod to be installed on the server side. Manual mode is the safest alternative and should work on every other server. There are also 2 additional automatic map selection modes when Server mode isn’t an option. Read more about them in the tooltip of the setting.

Old map is not in the map menu? This can mean 2 things: the server address has changed or the dimension IDs have changed.

Here’s the old explanation if you can’t update the mod to 1.6.1 or newer:

Do not panic. It’s almost certainly not actually deleted (this has never happened as far as I know). It’s likely caused by a server plugin changing the behavior of the vanilla compass item and interfering with the mod’s «multiworld» detection. In most such cases the compass item points to your bed instead of the global spawn point. Sleeping in the right bed again should bring everything back for you if sleeping in another one was the cause of the map «resetting».
If the map «reset» because of a new plugin being added (and if removing it is not an option for you), then here’s how you can restore your map (and hope the plugin doesn’t do it again):

Make sure Minecraft is NOT RUNNING.

1. Go to the game directory

2. Go to the XaeroWorldMap directory

3. Find directories that represent the dimensions you have visited on the server. These directories contain the address of the server in their name. The one that ends with _null is the overworld, _dim-1 is Nether etc.

4. Open the overworld directory ( _null).

5. You should see multiple directories that start with mw.

6. Find the one that is the biggest in file size. Copy the name of it somewhere so you don’t lose it.

7. Now find the newest mw directory (likely the emptiest or just check the creation date). Move this directory somewhere else. Don’t delete it just yet.

8. Rename the directory from step 6 to the name of the backed up directory from step 7.

9. Open Minecraft and test if the overworld world map is back.

10. If it’s not, exit Minecraft and restore the old name of the directory that you have renamed + restore the backed up folder. Reread all the steps to make sure you’re doing everything right.
If overworld is now fixed, proceed to step 11.

11. Rename and backup the directories with the same names as overworld for every other dimension that you’d like to restore.

Alright! So I’ve been trying it out, and so far I love it! It already looks the best out of other world maps I’ve seen. I love the fact that it matches my resource pack, and for some reason, I really love the n/s/e/w indicator in the corner (it looks really nice and simple).

One suggestion I have is to either not have the so much of the map visible at once, or to have the option to toggle something like that. What I mean is that only a small area around the player could be visible, and more appears as the player walks around, in order to encourage exploration.

I’m looking forward to the rest of the planned features and integration with the minimap. Personally, I wouldn’t need to see mobs on the big map, but waypoints would be great.

One issue I’ve caught is this exception in my log, as well as a lot of logspam:

I guess it might be an issue with a specific mod? But the message ballooned my log to 124mbs, and eventually my game started to freeze as I noticed that all my ram was taken up (out of 6gb). I’ve never maxed out before on 1.8.9, so that really surprised me.

One or two people play the cop(s) and the other people play the robbers. This map has pretty much everything a normal minecraft world has including:
-Large desert & Semi-Desert & Desert Mountains
-Many large Caverns in which you can live!
-Underground Forests and ecosystems!
-Savannah & Hilly Jungle
-Plains & Forest & Rivers (3 for now. )

How to download and install Minecraft Maps

What are Minecraft Maps?

Minecraft maps are custom worlds created by other Minecrafters! There are several forms of maps ranging from simple skyblock survival worlds, to complex structures and cities. Whether you’re looking to build your base on epic custom terrain, or in search of a new castle to move into, there are thousands of maps to choose from! If you navigate to the Minecraft Maps section of Planet Minecraft you’ll see that you can easily sort by Category, and then further to whether or not the map has a download.

For this tutorial, we’re using Balderich’s map, Drehmal v2. This massive map is survival friendly and contains 25 unique biomes, puzzles, structures, weapons, textures and more. A perfect map to keep busy for the foreseeable future!

1. Click the blue «↓ Download» button.

2. A window will pop up. For this specific project, the creator decided to use MediaFire as the third party site to host their download. Click «Continue».

3. Click «Download»
** IF you’re directed to ADFly, we recommend reading this tutorial by Azie before moving on. **

5. A Window will pop up. Make sure «Save» is selected. Click «OK». Your file will start downloading.

6. Once your file is downloaded, you’ll need to locate it to unzip it. You can do this in your browser. Here, we’re using Firefox. The icon «↓» located in the upper right hand corner is where downloads can be easily accessed. Your browser might show your download in the lower left hand corner.

7. Right click on the file and select «Extract». Alternatively, there may be an «Extract» button, like you see in the top left corner of the screenshot below.

8. A window will pop up, where you will be able to choose the location of the download. By default, it should be «Downloads», and is the most appropriate place. Once you have Downloads selected, click «Extract».

9. Navigate to where your Downloads folder is and click on the Map Folder. Make sure you see similar files within the main Folder, like you see below (advancements, data, DIM1, playerdata, etc.)

10. Navigate back to where the main map folder is by using the back arrow. Now, drag and drop the main folder onto your desktop. If you can’t drag and drop, right click the file and select «Move To. » and select «Desktop».

13. Here, you will directed to your resourcepacks folder. You’ll want to navigate to your Saves folder by clicking on «.minecraft». Open up «Saves» and drag an drop the Map folder from your desktop into the Saves folder, or copy and paste the file like we did in the video below. Close out of the window once it’s loaded.

14. Click «Done»

Theia was an ancient planet that collided with Earth 4.51 billion years ago. It was around the size of Mars and makes up much of what we now call our moon. The name itself is of Greek origin. Theia was the titaness of shining light and the clear, blue sky.

The map itself is 22 784 x 17 152 blocks. The download size alone is 2.22 GB compressed. It was completely created in Worldpainter. Because of this every landmass has been hand painted by me. The Pangea-like continent sits in the Northern Hemisphere of the planet and contains biomes from tundra to desert, jungle to plains, taiga forest to Mediterranean coastline and more. There is more than enough room in the world for 20+ cities and innumerable towns, villages and hamlets.

The spawn is located in the North-West section of the map, in the bay where the tundra stops. The map has caves, ores and animals. The sea is at level 40 instead of 60 so the terrain can be slightly more varied and impressive and not affect gameplay. The map is also survival friendly.

Honestly, I don’t know why this hasn’t been done by someone yet.

I know, if you really have the gumption, Its not that hard to make map art.

But sometimes I don’t want to go through the hassle of loading pictures,
converting them, and painstakingly building a map.

(Especially if I have no experience doing it to begin with)

It would be A THOUSAND TIMES easier if I could just go on PMC or somewhere,
download a world save and Copy-n-Paste already built map designs.

I see a ton of map art. Some are REALLY good!

Well. Its your lucky day!

Cause I’m gonna start adding designs into this world and you can use them. For your personal use, or use them on a server. I mean to make the art useful and enhance your minecraft world by decorating it with these maps.
Since no one else has done it.. I’m gonna do it.

1) The download comes with the world save folder, if you want to fly around and explore the created maps

2) A Schematics folder with the saved schematics, if you simply want to drop these in, to paste these immediately into your own world.

I use World Edit for large simple portions of maps and hand build «intricately» details parts.
I complete this all in version 1.16.4, then convert the world to the latest update before I upload the file.
Its not easy. Since the mods, dedication time, my computer, and Minecraft itself all fight against my efforts to give you these designs.

I researched a lot on how others had built maps before me and applied those techniques here.
You will see within the world that I use a variety of tools to create these maps with templates, along with «Staircasing» to achieve certain colors.

🚧⚠ Issues / Things to be aware about

As complexity rises, a small tweak or change can have unintended consequences, flaws, be just poor choices, or I maybe hit certain possibility limits of programs. These maps are really complex and hard to make, with dozens of steps and hundreds of layers to apply in the right order. And I’m just a non-magical-wizard boi making sometimes either a poor decision or an unintended mistake, but I want to let you know what might have an impact when playing this world, and here’s what I´ve noticed:

This map has multiple natural landmarks, custom trees, and is survival friendly (has caves (not open to air) and an end portal)

This map is 1:924 Scale at 45 degrees latitude and is using the miller projection. This means that the map is roughly 31,000 blocks across and 16,000 blocks tall. The height has been exaggerated for gameplay purposes.

Made using edited heightmap data from arcGIS as a base, then handpainting terrain on top, then painting rivers using a fairly detailed river overlay from arcGIS (so that they are accurate),
then painting biomes and trees according to a miller projection Köppen–Geiger climate classification map, also made using arcGIS.

Since the old one was deleted I put up another one which had the same name in my drive. This was a mistake, as it was a Europe crop. I have acquired a different version which was meant to be used on a server (It has several monuments, a few meant to be specific to the server. Honestly these are more extensive than the original), edited it so that the portal room is right by spawn but inaccessible until you have a diamond pickaxe.

The NVIDIA RTX Winter World opens its doors today!

The world’s largest virtual winter wonderland experience created by NVIDIA.

Built by specialist artist Ushio Tokura using NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX GPUs. Real-time ray tracing stunningly simulates the physical behaviour of light, enabling reflections, shadows and other realistic lighting effects, as visitors are transported to a world offering a full winter wonderland and Santa’s grotto experience. The world will offer an opportunity to raise funds for NVIDIA’s charity partner, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Set across three snowglobes: a winter wonderland, Santa’s village and winter environment. The world s pans a virtual space of 38 acres, 4 times the size of the biggest real-world seasonal event in Austria

The world also features a full recreation of the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) building and visitors will be able to donate via an in-game QR code to contribute to the charity’s ‘Home for Christmas’ fundraising campaign, which seeks to bring seriously ill children one step closer to home.

This includes, through funding state-of-the-art medical technology, pioneering research programmes into treatments and cures for rare conditions and patient and family support services. Money raised will also help bring Christmas to the hospital for children from across the UK whose treatment needs to continue over the festive season, as well as funding important services for GOSH staff working to care for patients and their families.
