Story Events
The player will reach Graphite Lodge after completing the majority of the story quest involving stopping the rain caused by the key guardian, where they will enter alongside TJ and encounter two citizens named Lass Sarah and Miner. The two attempt to challenge TJ and the player in order to remove them from the city. Right before the battle begins, however, Cassidy intervenes and prevents the situation from escalating. She explains that the town wasn’t always hostile to newcomers, but ever since the DoodleCo Key Hunt began, the sheriff Craig had become «evil».
The player is invited to her lodge, where they meet her father, the mayor. He wants TJ and the player to help stop Craig’s takeover, since Craig has the townspeople on his side. He believes the first step is to fix the town’s perception of outsiders, since it would be easier to stop Craig without the townspeople supporting him. TJ and the player agree, but only with the condition of gaining access to the Forest Maze to defeat the first Key Guardian.
To help the mayor, the player and TJ follow Cassidy to the Help Center where TJ and the player each take on a quest. TJ is tasked to literally find a needle in a haystack, and the player must complete the Big Bully request. After completing the quest, the player receives money and a Tally Counter.
You are then prompted to speak to the Mayor again, but are interrupted by Cassidy as she brings the bad news. Craig is attempting to capture Maelzuri in order to take over Graphite Lodge and become the mayor once and for all. After the cutscene, you gain access to The Crossroads.
After completing the events of Crystal Caverns, you return here and enter the Mayor’s house. Here, Cassidy scolds TJ for getting the Opal Orb stolen, and TJ says he’ll post a Help Center request about it. The Mayor allows the player access to Graphite Forest, but only after one last Doodle Battle. with Cassidy!
Important Places
Help Center
The Help Center in Graphite Lodge is where townspeople can put up requests (side quests), which grant you various rewards.
Mysterious House
The Mysterious House is an abandoned house in the corner of Graphite Lodge. The door is locked, and the player will only be able to enter after taking Cassidy’s Mysterious House request. Cassidy calls for the player’s help to investigate it, only to find nothing but a stack of boxes. However, she is not satisfied in her findings, so she makes the player look through every single box until they find something unusual. The strange noise is coming from a box on the second stack from the right. After defeating Glubbie, report back to Cassidy outside. Then, a man named Wish will appear, and say that he is interested in Glubbie. He will then reside in the town’s Doodle Station to give the player rewards if they show him certain Doodles. The player can then go collect their reward at the Help Center.

TamersWhile the «Big Bully» request is active: StarsStars are a mechanic in Doodle World that are randomized for every Doodle. Each star provides a minor increase in overall stats, meaning that a five star Doodle will have higher stats than a three star Doodle of the same species. Each star is equivalent to five stat points in every stat when a Doodle is level 100. For example, 3-stars means a Level 100 Doodle will have 15 extra stat points in every stat than if they theoretically had 0 stars, whereas 5-stars would mean a 25 stat point increase in every stat. Therefore 6-stars would mean a 30 stat point increase in every stat. When finding wild Doodles, the star chances choose a random number between 1-100. There are set values that determine what star the Doodle will be, and higher numbers mean higher stars. Chaining can reduce the minimum number the star chances choose to guarantee a certain amount of stars. Completing all tasks for a Doodle’s evolution lines increases the maximum number the star chances are, allowing you to find 6-star Doodles. MechanicsEach Doodle can have up to six stars, but the chance for a six star Doodle to spawn has to be unlocked. To obtain a six star Doodle, you must first complete all of the tasks of that Doodle’s entire evolutionary line. Afterwards, you will have a low chance of encountering a six star Doodle of the respective species. Stars are determined when a Doodle is spawned, such as when you encounter one in the wild or obtain one via Roulette. There is currently no way to change the amount of stars a Doodle has. However, there are methods to increase your chances of getting higher star Doodles, such as chaining. The chances for each number of stars are based on a random number generated from 1 to 100. Chaining removes lower ranges, forcing the minimum amount of stars a specific Doodle can spawn with to rise. Misprints and mythical Doodles will always spawn with at least four stars. The trait, “Incandescent” improves chances to find higher stars by raising the bottom of the minimum range available by 10. For example, with a chain of 25, having a Doodle with Incandescent in the lead sets the lowest range (2 stars) to be 31-45. ScavengeContentsEffectAfter winning a battle, each Doodle with Scavenge on your team has a random chance to find an item. The more Scavenge Doodles you have in your party, the more chance you have of getting an item. This means if you were very lucky, you could get up to six items in one battle. You will get a notification in the bottom-right for each item found. This trait works even if the Doodle with it is fainted. DescriptionAt the end of every battle, you have a chance to pick up a random item. Item PoolEvery time you scavenge an item, it is randomly selected from the item pool listed below at a fixed rarity. These rarities have been confirmed by Doodle World staff during Beta Access. However, they may be outdated or subject to change. The following table shows the confirmed item pool and all rarities. It has been slightly modified so that the Level-Up Cube and Silver Level-Up Cube are 1 rarity higher.
