The story behind “I Feel Fantastic,” Tara The Singing Android, and John Bergeron

If you were active on Youtube in the 2010s, you might remember this unsettling viral video, titled simply “I Feel Fantastic”:

What is the story behind this video? Are we looking at the work of an artistic genius, the delusional designs of a madman, or something more sinister?

I’m a hobbyist video game developer (I made Nepenthe and am currently working on To The Dark Tower), and my artistic aesthetic revolves around the concept of the “uncanny valley,” so I’m always on the lookout for creepy things that are hard to pin down exactly why they are creepy. When I first came across the original “I Feel Fantastic” video, I was captivated, and decided that, as a distraction from some other projects, I would try tracking down as much data as I could about the video and its creator (within ethical/legal bounds, of course). I eventually managed to get my hands on the original DVD. Turns out there’s a lot more of her than what we’ve seen so far, and some of it is even creepier (to me at least). Here it is, recorded in as high quality as I could manage:

I first heard about “Tara, the Singing Android” through the Vsauce video “Why are things creepy?” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEikGKDVsCc), which, when I was 14 years old or so, my high school science teacher showed our class for some unknowable reason. I was mildly traumatized, but also fascinated, and though I didn’t return to the “I Feel Fantastic” video for years, it stuck in my memory as a formative artistic influence.

Years later, after publishing my first video game (Nepenthe) and in need of a break, I decided to try my hand at figuring out what the heck I had watched back then that left such an impression on younger me. Doing a quick google search led to this article, which gave a few, but not many, sources to follow: http://www.the13thfloor.tv/2016/04/12/i-feel-fantastic-the-horrifying-history-of-tara-the-android/. The main take-away I got from it was that A) there was a “full” 15 minute video of Tara the android out there, but that had long-since been deleted from the internet for unknown reasons (I searched for hours through obscure Youtube channels trying to find any copies and came up empty), and B) that Tara was the creation of a “John Bergeron,” an android enthusiast who could only be found referenced on the very strange website http://www.androidworld.com/. The article had no further links, so I set about searching the site trying to find references to Tara or John Bergeron, which I quickly found:

One day, a few months later, I received a package on my doorstep, with this inside:

At this point, I was in deep, and determined to see this project through.

I opened the DVD, to find that the file system used these rather outdated formats, which my computer couldn’t even play at first:

This means that the 2009 video which went viral was uploaded 5 years after the creation of the original!

Here’s the date I found in the file itself (converted to text — at one point I poked around there to see if there were any ARG type codes involved — there isn’t, as far as I could tell):

It took me a long while to figure out how to view and record the videos (the standard QuickTime player didn’t work properly for me, and it took a lot of research to find a suitable player that accepted the unusual file format), but I eventually managed to record everything in as high quality as I could manage.

At this point I had all the raw video you see in the final Youtube composite, but I still didn’t have the full story. So I began investigating, much further than I had before..

I had decided to try going deeper into this mystery, and at this point I wasn’t going to stop with just the raw videos. Why was Tara the Android created, and who exactly was this “John Bergeron”? After some deeper internet searching, I came across this article https://medium.com/@CounttheClock/review-i-feel-fantastic-3a5a82b46473 (50 of those 56 “claps” are from me btw, so at the time it was deeply buried in Google search results), which finally seemed to contain some useful information. There were three new important sources mentioned: this reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/creepy/comments/nqr1g/whats_the_story_behind_the_i_feel_fantastic_video/, a link to this now-dead site which has unfortunately not been archived anywhere as far as I can tell http://mysteriaforthecurious.com/?p=22, and a mention of Youtube user “Niyou77,” who posted a number of videos seemingly showing Tara the android doing totally random “out of character” actions. Apparently according to the now-dead blog post, this user has been established not to be John Bergeron. The reddit post included a link to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwTPT9xkV7UbtkiX-B3uFVg, a user called “Halloweenandroid” who posted the same videos, years before user Niyou77, at roughly the same time the viral “I feel fantastic” video came out in 2009. Looking through their combined videos, the only original piece of media appears to be this incredibly disturbing video (seriously, please do not watch it if you don’t enjoy shock horror), titled “piercing the android,” from which all subsequent videos on both channels are edited from (as well as from some assorted clips from the original DVD):

The question is obviously if this incredibly unnerving video can also be traced back to John Bergeron, to which, ultimately, I’m rather unsure as to what the truth is. I can find no other information about that video, so if you happen to discover anything new about it, I’d be quite interested to know. The behavior shown in it, not to mention the overall tone of the video, seems to go against everything else I’ve since learnt about the creator, so my current belief is that it’s either a fan replication of Tara, or somebody else managed to get their hands on the original android, with or without John Bergeron’s permission. As far as I can tell, this line of inquiry is a dead end.

Back to the blog, for the first time I found John Bergeron’s original website linked: http://www.geocities.ws/androidmusicvideos/.

This was the only new clue I had to go off of. Unfortunately, the website appears to currently be infected with some sort of malware, and cannot be browsed with any ease. To find out more, I needed to turn to the Internet Archive.

Using the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, I was able to browse through the old website: https://web.archive.org/web/20160222191258/http://www.geocities.ws/androidmusicvideos/

There wasn’t much there, other than some basic credits, although it did remind me that I had in fact seen a previous reference to the site, the video available at http://www.androidworld.com/brutal_m.ram (you might need to use VLC media player to run it). Other than that, though, that site was another dead end.

So I decided to go back to http://www.androidworld.com/, and take a deeper look, in case I had missed anything.

After a few minutes of searching, I came across a page titled “Smaller Android Projects” (http://www.androidworld.com/prod10.htm), and found another mention of the Tara android:

The bottom two links merely led to the “android music videos” page, which I had explored already, but the top link… The top link led to http://www.geocities.com/androidbuilder/, which returned a “Could Not Connect” message. I had found a new link, and now I knew what to do.

Using the Wayback Machine again, I found that the site had thankfully been archived multiple times throughout the years. From 2003 onward, the site simply served as a redirect to the previous website, but looking before that, I found gold. There’s a large amount of previously unknown information about Tara to be found there, but I’ll just share some highlights in this email (although by far not all of the interesting things I found):

Finally, for some strange reason, listed on December 14th, 2007, I found an unusual update to the website, showing simply this file, with the caption “here is a low-res picture I made, resembling a circuit”:

And that is all I could uncover from this long-forgotten website.

So I had found out pretty much everything I could about the origin of Tara the Singing Android. A creation of John Bergeron, an android enthusiast and musician, hoping to entertain future generations, yet inadvertently creating an internet creepypasta legend. What happened to John Bergeron since creating Tara?

I have not been able to verify this, but as far as I can tell the details I can verify do check out (with the possible exception of the strange update to the webpage in 2007), so I have little reason to doubt it.

After this point in my research I concluded that I had discovered all I could hope to discover, and published the video now on my Youtube channel (also linked above): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6TdRD3moBk. The rest of the story is history, of course.

Before ending off, it’s extremely important to mention the following:

The rumors involving John Bergeron being a serial killer are completely false.

I tracked down the original source of the rumors to this thread:

People keep on taking this way too seriously, and I don’t want anybody being harassed on my account. We have every reason to believe that John Bergeron died a few years ago, before his work went viral. To me this is a far more tragic story (assuming a few of my assumptions are correct about his identity): A man who loved his creations so much that he saw nothing creepy about them, and just wanted to contribute to a growing field of research. He may have died thinking that he failed in some sense, with nobody contacting him, and only a short obituary in the local paper to show he even existed. If he had only lived a few more years, he would have seen his work explode across the internet, maybe not in the way he intended, but definitely influencing the next generation of creators. To me that’s a more powerful story, that should be told.

Расследование

Много теорий ходило вокруг этого видеоролика, но никто так и не приблизился к истине, пока кто-то из пользователей не наткнулся на сайт Androidworld.com, где была страница про поющего робота по имени Тара. На странице было написано, что создатель робота потратил на его создание около 2000 долларов, и его целью было сделать из этого робота звезду музыки. Это подогрело интерес пользователей к истории, и вскоре человек под никнеймом Ejaculation Plan загрузил полную версию ролика с роботом Тарой длиной в 15 минут. В ролике Тара исполняла песни с незамысловатым текстом и странным инструментальным сопровождением.

Тайна видеоролика так и не была разгадана, но Берджерон заявлял, что Тара будто живет своей жизнью и утром он часто находил её сидящей в кресле, хоть и оставлял его в другом месте перед тем как ложился спать. Эти его слова так же подтверждают, что он просто потерял рассудок.

Сам ролик жутковатый, но никак навредить психике человека не может. Безопасно к просмотру.

I Feel Fantastic refers to a short, creepy video of an android singing a song in a mysterious house.

The video first surfaced on the Internet in 2004 along with other videos/songs with the same android. The android is named Tara, and was created by a man named Jon Bergeron. [1] He programmed her to sing songs he wrote. He uploaded these videos by himself and offered them for viewers for a fee. However, the poor quality of each video brought negative feedback and Tara became unpopular for a while. On April 15th, 2009, user named creepyblog uploaded the most well-known video reposting to YouTube. The video has gained over 11 million views (shown below).

Rumor 3: the first uploader was creepyblog in description that a accomplished cypriot sculptor was disgusted that he saw that women were becoming prositutes disgusted he made his own sculpted his wife deeply in love venus made his «wife»come to life and that creepyblog liked it in description that made people think that the creator made Tara the android his lover.-Angie_kittylol

In ancient Greek mythology, Pygmalion was a highly accomplished Cypriot sculptor. Though skilled at imitating the human form, and well acquainted with it’s subtleties, he became disgusted by it when he witnessed the Propoetides prostituting themselves. These women were punished by Venus for their lack of worship with a coarseness of skin and a crudeness of nature, and were then forced into prostitution. Seeing this, Pygmalion the sculptor was repelled and could no longer appreciate women.
Seemingly alone, Pygmalion sought to create for himself a perfect, pure, unsullied companion. He used his particular skills to this end: he created a statue bride.

What you are about to watch is a mysterious video. It’s origin is attributed variously, and almost certainly spuriously, to various abstract artists or surrealists. The truth is that what we are seeing, and what we perceive to be strange and disturbing, is actually beauty to it’s creator.
Perhaps what we are viewing is the work of a modern Pygmalion. To him, her toneless voice, the paleness of her skin and the comparative vibrancy of her lips may indeed be the very embodiment of a perfect woman.
Consider the mind-scape of the creator. In whose mind does this appear beautiful? In whose mind is this pure, near worshipful? Are we missing out on his perspective?

Who are we to be afraid or to judge them? He may well love her fully, perhaps more fully than any of us could ever hope to be loved. In the mind of her creator, she is a near goddess; the perfect representation, not just of femininity, but the peak of human potential. A perfectly satisfactory being.

How does that kind of unconditional love feel?

Review: “I Feel Fantastic”

The most interesting thing about artwork on the Internet is how truly occult it can be. There is a level of anonymity afforded to online artists that is totally unprecedented, and the result of this anonymity has been a vast wasteland of pieces whose origins and intentions are largely untraceable. This series will be an exploration of Internet curios without a background story. We are going to play cultural detective and attempt to discern, to the best of our abilities, the meaning and the rationale behind these curios, and hopefully invite some well-deserved critical discourse to them in the process.

Story: By this point, I Feel Fantastic has been fully established as a shadowy classic of the deep-slumber-party genre; a time-tested destination for freaking out the uninitiated and catalyzing foredoomed cycles of folk inquiry. It is perhaps the most archetypal example of “mysterious” internet art, a work so perfectly eerie that it feels that it must be intentional, but so hidden in its origin that it remains legitimately unknowable.

This grained and woodsy artifact consists of a female android named Tara posing and serenading the viewer with a monotonous half-song whose lyrics lend the title its name. A middle break in the video wipes over some disfocused foliage for no apparent reason. The video ends that way it began.

The Mystery: When we began researching into I Feel Fantastic we were surprised to find that so much remains unknown about it. There’s a solid number of articles and forums dedicated to constructing a cohesive origin story but while details and clues abound, nothing straightforward can yet be put together.

The actual mysteries inherent in I Feel Fantastic are obvious and really boil down to one medial question: what is this? Who would make this video, why would they make it, how weird is it actually supposed to be? This video is the stuff that nightmares are made of, but is that the point? Is I Feel Fantastic just an abridged internet Blair Witch Project-style hoax, a Ted the Caver exercise in pseudo-realist horror? Or is it something more?

What We Know: The rabbit hole that is the I Feel Fantastic origin mystery is a fascinating and often disturbing ride. Here are the facts, as provided by Reddit, Blumhouse, certain robot forums, etc.:

I Feel Fantastic was originally uploaded by a user called Creepyblog (it remains the user’s only upload). The video’s description contains an extended meditation on the Greek myth of Pygmalion. For those unfamiliar with the story: Pygmalion was a sculptor who found that no woman on Earth would suit his ideal, so he decided that he would sculpt the perfect woman for himself. When Aphrodite, goddess of love, happened upon the figure he created, she took pity on Pygmalion and brought it to life. The parallels between this myth and the video are obvious and are clearly meant to inspire a sense that the creator of the piece/robot is insane, or at least extremely eccentric. Of course, the name “Creepyblog” makes all this spookiness seem self-aware and, importantly, the user does not take personal credit for the video.

Things get weirder from here. Shortly after the original post, another user named Niyou77 reuploaded the video along with a collection of other shorts featuring Tara the android in a playlist called “my android”. These videos maintained the creep-factor of I Feel Fantastic, and the context migration made the whole affair seem more legitimately bizarre. Video descriptions now came with wacky, tongue-in-cheek origin stories and the claim that Tara was made “by accident” and had supernatural powers.

Internet sleuths began to do some sniff-work, and deduced that Tara the Android was the creation of one John Bergeron. An oft-cited link leads to a crudely designed “android forum” run by Bergeron where Tara is listed amongst “smaller android projects”.

It has been established that Niyou77 is not John Bergeron. It is unclear why Niyou77 decided to co-opt the Tara videos and build his own mythos but it seems that Bergeron is the legitimate creator; thanks to some wonderful detective work by the blog mysteriaforthecurious, Bergeron’s original website has been tracked down, and it appears as though Tara was originally a personal project designed to fuse an interest in robotics with an interest in music. Bergeron is still around and Internet sleuthing suggests that he is a seemingly normal music teacher and robo-tinkerer. Seemingly normal…because his entire social media presence shut down the second that someone asked him on Twitter about the I Feel Fantastic video.

The tale does not stop here. Mysteries remain as to the Niyou77 uploads (many of which seem tonally out of sync with Bergeron’s original creation, and are probably from another source), and the lack of conclusive credit has unsettled spectators. In no way do we give credence to these rumors and in no way are we implicating Bergeron in them, but it must be addressed that the failure of anybody to adequately come forward and offer an explanation for the videos has led to a full-blown urban legend about Tara’s “real” creator. The creator of these legends is a serial killer who dresses Tara in his victims clothes and makes her sing and dance for kicks…that, or he was a serial killer that created Tara, only to find her come to life and destroy him (urban legends are, of course, inconsistent). There is no evidence that anything other than harmless weirdness is going on, but it is clear that until an actual answer can be inked in the registry, unseemly speculation will continue to swell.

Final Notes: I Feel Fantastic is a stone cold classic. It is one of the most engaging, creepy, and mystifying works of the 21st century and a perfect example of the kind of exhilarating enigma that an artist can achieve if they understand the Internet fully. The aesthetic is a perfect balance of the uncanny and the real, the concept is unique and disturbing, and the restraint that the creator (whoever it is) has showed has birthed a legitimate urban legend. This is the real folk art of our day, and though it would be satisfying, I hope that we never totally crack the mystery of Fantastic, so that future generations can look back and whisper about the rumors and the shady links and continue to be united in curiosity around this very worthy little oddity.

Порождения кровавой Сети

Однажды, дорогие читатели, мы с вами уже погружались в темные недра чужого воображения, которое населило Интернет целой уймой «эксклюзивных» убивцев — от милашек, вроде Безглазого Джека и Джеффа-Убийцы, до совершенно невообразимых чудовищ, представляющих из себя настоящие ходячие паноптикумы. Время пролетело незаметно — и вот уже новые кандидаты на роль вашего ночного кошмара готовы предстать перед вами во всей своей безобразной красе. Оговоримся сразу: в этот топ мы отбирали лишь самых необычных представителей безразмерного веб-монстрятника, рядом с которым бестиарий Dungeons & Dragons показался бы куцым, как ободранный лисий хвост. Поэтому, сюда не попали бесконечные Джеки/Джейки/Джессы/Джеймсы, а также Кевины, Кайлы, Биллы и прочие, чья «оригинальность» заключается лишь в том, что у них к имени через дефис добавлено слово «убийца». Таких товарищей мы тут жаловать не будем — пусть сперва набьют руку, обрастут оригинальной предысторией, обзаведутся фирменным стилем душегубства… и глядишь — еще один топ порадует наших читателей!

6. Мультяшный Кот

Тревор Хендерсон — личность весьма незаурядная, а заодно и очень популярная в узких кругах любителей интернет-фольклора. За время своей бурной деятельности графический редактор Тревора (под его чутким руководством, естественно) породил на свет немало уникальных экспонатов сетевой кунсткамеры — и пускай особняком в них стоят лишь несколько наиболее ярких чудищ, Тревор все равно заслужил себе место в Зале славы хоррора.

Итак, представьте себе экранизацию похождений всеми любимого кота Феликса, но только с Хавьером Ботетом в главной роли. Так вы примерно получите представление о том, почему Мультяшный Кот — это совершенно не та мягкая игрушка, которую вы хотели бы приобрести своему ребенку, дабы он мирно спал с ней в обнимку…

Что доподлинно известно о Мультяшном Коте? Доподлинно — практически ничего. Поговаривают, что это чудовище во многом схоже с Пеннивайзом: как и его более известный коллега-клоун, Мультяшный Кот также представляет из себя плотоядную космическую сущность, чье подлинное обличье настолько ужасно и недоступно человеческому разуму, насколько это вообще возможно. Даже Древние Лавкрафта нервно курят в сторонке…

5. Аюоки

Думаю, нельзя не согласиться с тем, что Майкл Джексон — настоящая музыкальная легенда, и никакие грязные подробности его биографии не свергнут его с этого Олимпа. Но сегодня у нас не тот топ, где чествуют кумиров уровня Майкла — сегодня мы знакомимся с чудовищными обитателями Интернета. В их-то несметном воинстве можно найти самых курьезных страшилищ, вызывающих суеверный ужас на пару с нервными смешками. Одним из таких и является Аювоки.

Аюоки… Вслушайтесь в это слово… Попробуй его… пропеть… чувствуете, как зашевелился ваш ностальгический нерв. Искаженное «Annie, are you okay?» — строчка из песни «Smooth Criminal» — и послужило именем для кошмарного гуманоида, чей образ срисован напрямую с Майкла Джексона, если бы фильм «Лунная походка» был бы хоррором…

Все началось с аниматронной скульптуры (между прочим, изначально она пародировала другую легенду — Элвиса Пресли), названной создателем «Мой Гуль Джексон» и заснятой на видео. На волне педофильских скандалов, связанных с именем великого певца, это видео быстро приобрело саркастическую популярность, а вскоре стало достоянием любителей крипипасты, которые быстро «прикрутили» к жуткому образу целую предысторию… И аниматронная скульптура, стараниями интернет-общественности, обрела душу — и полноценную биографию. «Мой Гуль Джексон» превратился в загадочного «Аюоки», забирающегося по ночам в дома ничего не подозревающих граждан и хихикающего над ними до тех пор, пока те не проснутся… Впрочем, пробуждение не сулит им ничего хорошего — особенно, когда речь идет о пожилых людях, а также тех, у кого слабое сердце… Увидеть в темноте своей комнаты Аюоки — это если и не гарантированный инфаркт, то пожизненное заикание точно… Кстати, многие в Интернете на полном серьезе уверяли, что видели Аюоки у себя в спальне — и связывали это с феноменом «сонного паралича», лишь бы не признаваться самим себе в том, что Аюоки и правда почтил их своим присутствием… Бррр! Хоть бы автограф оставил…

Достаточно сказать, что в нескольких штатах (например, в Калифорнии) полицейским пришлось делать официальное заявление, где они заверяли обеспокоенных жителей, что никакого жуткого маньяка, переодетого Майклом Джексоном, не существует — и все это лишь городская легенда… Страсти со временем приутихли… Но Аюоки прочно вписал свое имя в историю интернет-фольклора…

4. Андроид Тара

Нет, речь не пойдет о многочисленных персонажах сериала «Доктор Кто»… Четвертое место занимает очередная жуткая аниматронная кукла, похожая на помесь манекена и какой-нибудь инстаграм-модели, которая явно переборщила с косметикой и фильтрами…

История Тары — поистине бриллиант интернет-фольклора, который будет интересен каждому, кто любит пощекотать себе нервишки. Тара создана еще в дремучем 2004 году неким Джоном Бержероном, специализирующемся на создании реалистичных аниматроников. Впрочем, Тара будто бы намеренно создана максимально по лекалам «зловещей долины»…

Для чего же предназначена Тара? Для… создания хорошего настроения! Ведь Тара умеет петь! И довольно неплохо кстати! Уж всяко лучше некоторых современных поп-певичек… Но вот песни Тары… Есть в них что-то… Что-то жуткое… Что-то предостерегающее… «Убегай, убегай, убегай» и все в таком духе… Да и название самого знаменитого видео с Тарой — «I feel fantastic», — часто считают фразой, которую должны произносить перед смертью жертвы так и не пойманного серийного убийцы, скрывающегося под личиной того самого Джона Бержерона… Да, из простого видео с поющим аниматроником выросла целая конспиративная теория о том, что Бержерон — маньяк, а Тара олицетворяет его «фетиш» — блондинок с определенной прической… И словно Пигмалион, Джон пытается воссоздать свою Тейю: вот только оживить ее можно лишь одним способом — найдя подходящую душу, с корнем выдранную из живой девушки… или нескольких…

3. Футакучи-Онна/Двоякая Женщина

Итак, прежде чем вы перейдете к знакомству с третьим местом, сразу предупреждаем: если вы еще не смотрели новый фильм Джеймса Вана «Злое», то лучше сразу переходите ко второму месту. Для тех же, кто не боится спойлеров, а также тех, кто уже посмотрел очередное творение создателя «Пилы» — Футакучи-Онна с радостью раскроет все свои секреты…

Итак, история этого духа-ёкай тянется еще со времен самураев и сегунов, но новый виток популярности это создание приобрело с появлением интернет-легенды о «Двоякой Женщине» — якобы на одном из сайтов знакомств для любителей «чего-нибудь эдакого» (а японцы, судя по всему, те еще месье, знающие толк в извращениях) можно найти анкету прекрасной японки с бледным ангельским личиком спереди… и усеянной клыками физиономией сзади…

Те, кто смотрел «Американскую историю ужасов», наверняка сразу вспомнят Эдварда Мордрейка… Вот только Двоякая Женщина — это куда более злобное создание, встреча с которым еще ни для одного извращенца не закончилась не чем иным, кроме участи сожранного заживо неудачника… Хорошо это или плохо — судить не нам, но одно точно: это свидание они запомнят надолго!

О происхождении Двоякой Женщины можно судить лишь по изначальным мифам — достаточно вбить в поиск «Футакучи-Онна» и найти тематические статьи, посвященные японской мифологии. Что касается городской легенды, то все сходится на том, что Двоякая Женщина просто родилась с паразитическим близнецом на затылке… И тут мы снова вспоминаем «Злое»… Как говорится, все новое — это хорошо забытое старое…

2. Сиреноголовый

Второе место по праву отходит весьма популярному на просторах Интернета криптиду, постепенно вытесняющего Слендермена с поста самого распиаренного веб-страшилища: еще одному творению уже упомянутого Тревора Хендерсона — Сиреноголовому…

Сиреноголовый — это жуткое биомеханическое чудовище, ростом не уступающее каким-нибудь ОБЧР из аниме. Громкоговорители, соединенные с телом Сиреноголового, позволяют ему имитировать самые разные звуки: так, имитируя животный рев, ему иногда удается приманивать крупных зверей — и безжалостно поедать их вместе с костями… И кстати, питается он не только животными…

Представьте: идете вы впотьмах по лесу — и вдруг слышите женский крик о помощи. Вы, сломя голову, мчитесь туда — и застаете громадное нечто, которое мгновенно опутывает вас проводами и отправляет прямо в одну из многочисленных пастей, скрытых в громкоговорителях… Не лучший поход за грибами, чего греха таить…

По легенде, дополненной уже даже не Хендерсоном, а почитателями его творчества, Сиреноголовый — это древний индейский дух, который существовал еще до зарождения человеческой цивилизации. Когда-то ему приносили кровавые жертвы, а его настоящее имя на диалекте аборигенов означало «тот, чей жалобный вой возвещает о скорой пирушке»… Но шло время — и Сиреноголовый превращался из жестокого и всеми почитаемого божества в обыкновенную «страшилку»… Это озлобило его — и заставило прибегнуть к новым способам добычи пропитания: так, умеющее принимать разные обличья чудовище «модернизировало» себя до гуманоидного робота, использующего свои сирены точно также, как сирены из древнегреческой мифологии использовали свой голос для заманивания моряков…

1. Момо

Понятно, что жутче Угандийского Наклза никого не бывает, однако золото нашего топа достается все же не ему…

Вряд ли среди вас, дорогие читатели, найдется хотя бы один человек, который никогда не слышал об этой большеглазой красотке (и нет, речь не идет о какой-нибудь анимешной девахе). Момо — это целый культ, раздутый в буквальном смысле из ничего. Серьезно, обыкновенная статуя, созданная доселе практически неизвестным скульптором Кэйсуке Айсаве, за счет своего ужасного вида приобрела известность, о которой и не мечтают многие тиктокеры.

Челлендж, завязанный на легенде о Момо, предполагал чуть ли не свершение суицида (по крайней мере, так утверждали обеспокоенные мамаши, чьим несчастным чадам не посчастливилось зайти в этот ваш треклятый WhatsApp). Куда там истерии по «Синему киту»! Особо ярые «озабоченные родители» (не говоря уже об общественных деятелях, с удовольствием примазывающихся к любой «движухе», где можно щедро полить грязью Запад) ассоциировали Момо с таинственной японской организацией поклонников смерти, которая поставила себе цель извести всех славянских детей во славу Императора (нет, не того, что из сорокатысячного столетия), и замешаны во всем были масоны с иллюминатами, а секретные американские спецслужбы прикрывали этих подонков от справедливой кары… Но истерия по Момо затронула не только Россию: связь с самоубийствами подростков приписывали ей и в Южной Америке, и в Пакистане, и в самой Японии, и в близлежащих Китае с Кореей, и, естественно, в оплоте мировой демократии — США…

Но кто же такая Момо. Раз уж подробную информацию о ней можно найти в Википедии, остановимся лишь на главном: по самой распространенной версии — это мертвая женщина, которая потеряла при родах ребенка, а заодно и лишилась жизни, и теперь ее неугомонный призрак, похожий на помесь человека и птицы, летает по ночам, тщетно выискивая свое потерянное дитя… В основе легенды о Момо лежит более старая легенда об Убимэ — несчастном духе-ёкай, чья загробная биография весьма схожа с нашей WhatsApp-иконой.

Психологи выдвигают версии, что Момо, все-таки, косвенно могла быть причиной суицида некоторых особо впечатлительных подростков — словно самосбывающееся пророчество, культивация слухов о Момо подтолкнула тех на отчаянный шаг, просто не способный не привлечь к ним внимания… пусть даже и посмертно…

Но кто знает, где правда, а где — домыслы. В любом случае заслуженное первое место — у нашей душки Момо, чьи глаза пробуравили ее вековечную печаль прямиком в реальный мир… вот уж действительно — всем нос утерла…

Pickle Surprise

История

Видео было загружено неким пользователем на видео-хостинг YouTube ещё в 2009 году. Согласно легенде создателем видео является гей-наркоман по имени Tom Rubnitz, впоследствии умерший от СПИДа. У некоторых людей при просмотре видео начиналось ушное кровотечение, панический страх, у них начинали слезиться и болеть глаза. Само видео длится около 1:30 и его можно посмотреть на YouTube даже на сегодняшний день. Видео было создано давно, это видно по самой видеозаписи: ее постоянно сопровождают рябь, шум, искажения звука, как и самого видео. Иногда звук отстает от изображения, а иногда и вовсе пропадает или становится мало разборчивым. Полностью все видео сопровождается тихой веселой музыкой. Видеозапись имеет смысл некой неофициальной рекламы, на которой заснят рецепт приготовления бутерброда.

Теперь можно кратко рассказать, что содержится в самом видео: вначале появляется девушка, которая смеется немного пугающим смехом, затем появляется другая девушка, облизывающая пальцы и говорящая «This is tasty. Yeah!» (при этом звук отстает), затем две девушки поворачивают головы и спрашивают «What is it? Huh?», на это им отвечают «Psst! It is surprise!» Далее появляется либо девушка, либо мужчина (этот человек так сильно загримирован, что не разобрать), говорит 2 раза «Pickle suprise» и показывает рецепт приготовления бутерброда, затем он появляется на странном фоне (этот фон является ключевым, так как после него и начинается кульминационный эффект видео) и говорит, чтобы мы повторили заклинание «Ham». Когда все люди в видео это повторяют (причем у последней девушки вместо «Ham» слышно только шипение), появляется мужчина и «негритоска» которые, по-видимому, спорят, но что они говорят не разобрать, так как их разговор полностью заглушает музыка. Реплики «Where is the pickle?», «That is surprise!» Затем опять девушка со страшноватым смехом и загримированный человек, говорящий Pickle Surprise.

Также у Toma Rubnitza есть и второе видео, которое он создал. Его название «Strawberry Shortcut» и оно имеет такой же смысл неофициальной рекламы, где изображен рецепт приготовления некого десерта. Также можно отметить, что это видео не приносит никаких эффектов, но все-таки является психоделическим.

P.S. Если перевести Pickle Surprise, то мы получим «Огуречный сюрприз».

История i feel fantastic

Все так плохо, потому что, готовясь к съемкам, создатели тему не исследовали и работали по общим представлениям. В комментариях к фильму Скотт и Купер на полном серьезе обсуждают безнадежно устаревшие идеи Графтона Смита (1871-1937) столетней давности. В основу фильма Скотт, по его словам, положил идею, что экономика Египта держалась на рабах. На самом деле Египет жил за счет продуктивности почвы по берегам Нила и дани, собираемой с Нубии и азиатских вассалов.

С богословской точки зрения фильм несостоятелен, потому что отклоняется от традиционного прочтения Библии. Многих смутил бог в виде мальчика. Но тут критики, жаловавшиеся на отступления от первоисточника, сами оступились. Скотт и Купер отмечают, что в первоисточнике Моисей разговаривает не с богом, а с посланником божества. Им показалось, что будет здорово показать посланника мальчиком, который говорит по-взрослому. Мол, так сразу будет понятно, что это не простой отрок. Судя по реакции на фильм, не получилось.

Наконец, о художественной стороне. В «Исходе» Скотт продолжает развивать тему тиранической посредственности у власти против гениального героя, которую он затрагивал в «1492». (Кстати, сцена с рукой на столе заимствована как раз из «1492»). Словами Скотта: «Это история о герое-освободители, о поражении угнетателя, вере, сомнении, жертве. развлечение с уважением к верующим людям». Но при просмотре не отпускает впечатление, что это какой-то вестерн про благородных героев, противостоящих коррумпированному мэру городка где-нибудь в Канзасе. Не удивительно, сам Скотт сравнивает «Исход» с вестерном. Только выглядит на экране это дико. Весь фильм Кристиан Бэйл дает понять мимикой и словами, что он на Древнем Ближнем востоке самый крутой. У него все получается, его любит армия, даже Сети любит его больше, чем своего наследника. И надо было еще додуматься выставить одного из наиболее успешных фараонов Нового царства посредственностью.

Итак, перед нами вестерн в Древнем Египте с трактовкой Исхода в духе рационализма XVIII века и с пониманием роли героя в истории в традиции Томаса Карлейля. Есть ли идейная или эстетическая ценность в таком произведении? – нет.

Разработчик игр Fntastic, резидент ИТ-парка «Якутск» разработал сервис виртуального офиса: в нем сотрудники в режиме реального времени могут общаться по голосовой связи, узнал Inc. Сейчас сервис уже тестируют международный агрегатор пассажирских перевозок inDriver, крупнейший издатель игр MyTona и отделение «Ростелеком» Якутии.

Компания Fntastic разработала сервис для удаленной работы Continent. Он призван создать подобие офиса, но в онлайн-формате. Сам по себе сервис напоминает гибрид Telegram и Zoom, однако является более продвинутой версией и позволяет работникам почувствовать эффект единого присутствия в пространстве. Одновременно Continent способен обслуживать тысячи сотрудников, располагается он в сетевом облаке на сервисе заказчика.

«Мы с 2015 года занимаемся разработкой игр, в пандемию, как и многие компании, перешли на удаленный формат работы и столкнулись с двумя основными проблемами: плохой коммуникацией и низкой дисциплиной. Люди отвлекались на домашние дела, подолгу не отвечали в мессенджерах, а чтобы пообщаться в Zoom, нужно было заранее долго договариваться. Мы искали новые инструменты работы, которые бы позволили закрыть издержки мессенджеров и видео-конференц-связи, тестировали разные сервисы. К сожалению, к тому моменту в мире не было ИТ-решения под наш запрос. И мы решили создать свое революционное рабочее пространство, которое объединяет сотрудников со всех континентов», — сообщил один из основателей Fntastic Эдуард Готовцев.

В сервисе представлены подразделения и кабинеты компании, сотрудники могут отправлять голосовые или видеосообщения друг другу, на которые отвечают в режиме реального времени. Если сотрудник отойдет от рабочего места, то это будет зафиксировано на иконке в интерфейсе.

В июне стало известно, что компания Honor выяснила, как удаленка повлияла на эмоциональное состояние, эффективность и взаимодействие внутри команд, а также между сотрудниками и руководителями. Honor провела более 3 тыс. интервью с HR-директорами, руководителями и сотрудниками российских компаний.

Tara is a singing robot developed by John Bergeron, a robot designer. Tara was not the greatest singing robot, but he was able to create songs with the help of AI. It was a little-known project that had been put on hold since 2006. The droid has already been sold. The eerie tune was really written by John Bergeron to put his robot through its trials. Also, because the video was posted before CGI software were viable, it cannot have been heavily modified. The channel’s name is also unusual, since it is named «CreepyBlog.» As a result, it must be edited with strange cuts in order to disturb the audience.

Dennou Senshi Porygon вышла в эфир 16 декабря 1997 года в 18:30 по Японскому стандартному времени в Японии. Эта серия транслировалась через тридцать семь телевизионных станций, имела самый высокий рейтинг в своём таймслоте, и её смотрели более чем в 26,9 миллионах домов.

При просмотре данной сцены у зрителей появились симптомы помутнения зрения, головной боли, головокружения и тошноты. Среди других симптомов были временная слепота и эпилептические припадки. Японской службой пожарной безопасности было зарегистрировано 685 случаев вызова скорой медицинской помощи — в больницы поступило 685 больных эпилепсией, 310 мальчиков и 375 девочек. Зафиксировано также обращение нескольких лиц, достигших 20-летнего возраста. We’ve crawled through the creepiest corners of YouTube to collect some of the creepiest videos and web series out there. We’ve trawled through them to find the best horror films from around the world – from the dark side to the light side.

In 2009, a strange and mysterious video I Feel Fantastic was uploaded to YouTube that has lead to conspiracy theories of a possible murder. The I Feel Fantastic song is somewhat legendary at this point.In 2009, the strange and mysterious video I Feel Fantastic was uploaded to YouTube by the channel Creepyblog featuring Tara the Android…or the “I Feel Fantastic Robot” that has lead to conspiracy theories of a possible murder.

This creepy video documenting a woman’s attempts to appear normal in a dating video is one of the creepiest videos on your own device. In short, this scary YouTube video (or videos) has surfaced in the top ten most popular YouTube videos of all time. Expect a few shocks in this video – but not as much as you’d expect from a horror movie.

Tara the Android is a singing Android that was built by John Bergeron in 2004 but discontinued in 2006. The song is by Tara, who sings the little song called “I Feel Fantastic.” The other song mentioned in the original title was originally uploaded as “Feel Fantastic,” along with the other songs mentioned earlier, all of which I mentioned.

Internet sleuths began to do snooping and concluded that Tara the Android was the creation of a John Bergeron. After killing the woman, Tara, he took her clothes and other essentials and turned her into a Tara.

This theory is the logical one and takes away the creepy element from Tara and her creator, but it goes further. It is said that unlike any other video ever posted on the YouTube channel, Tara murdered her creators after reaching a state of self-consciousness. This theory goes further and expands the mythology of Tara, leading to the theory that she became self-conscious and killed her creators. With Tara, it seems she was someone who was really robotic and just happened to be creepy.

It may seem like a stretch to think that the Tara android has traveled to space and made a music video there, but it is a much greater stretch to believe that Tara is behaving like a dead woman in makeup than if she were just a robot.

Of course, the name Creepyblog makes the creepiness seem self-conscious, but it is important that the user does not personally acknowledge the video. It seems that the video “I Feel Fantastic” suggests that Tara and her construction have parallels to the ancient Greek myth of Pygmalion, with her creator portrayed as a sculptor trying to achieve perfection by creating an android. The parallels between the myth and the videos are obvious and are clearly intended to fuel the idea that the creator of this robot is crazy or at least extremely eccentric.

This often cited link leads to a roughly designed android forum of Bergeron, where Tara is listed as a small android project. The site also contains five videos of Tara, presumably the clip “I Feel Fantastic,” but the link is dead, and it contains all five Tara videos (presumably all) and the video itself. This page also contains a link to this page, which probably contains the clip “I feel fantastic,” but that link has been dead for some time, as has the rest of the content on the page. These pages also contain a list of all websites, including all four of their videos. But the links are dead and contain no information about the videos themselves, except a brief mention of a video clip.

The story assumes that the android is a woman who was killed and buried there, and the video is based on a website called AndroidWorld, where “Tara the Android” is attributed to a man named John Bergeron. After a while, the Internet began to form a series of theories about the origins of Tara’s videos, the most popular of which was that they were the sick way of a killer to make a joke. When they were filming Tara’s videos, some suspected that he was taunting viewers with hints about the fate of the real Tara, or that he was later responsible for killing Tara and was trying to entangle himself in all of this. The creator of this android was actually the murderer, but the creators of all these androids were actually the murderers.

Goddess Bunny — загадочная и пугающая личность, герой одного из самых жутких видеороликов в Интернете. Переодетый в маленькую девочку трансвестит с очень тонкими конечностями и гипнотическим взглядом пытается танцевать что-то типа чечетки. Устрашающий эффект от просмотра отмечают практически все просмотревшие, особо впечатлительные, по слухам, были вынуждены проходить курс психологической реабилитации — травма оказалась слишком серьезной. Ролик появился в 2006 г., в Рунете же обрел популярность в конце 2009 г.

Эта пугающая «женщина» — известный под псевдонимом Goddess Bunny трансвестит, он же Джонни Байма (Johnnie Baima), он же Сенди Крисп (Sandie Crisp). В детстве он был поражен тяжелой формой паралича, отсюда такие физические деформации. Но несмотря на это, он с детства он мечтал о славе и таки ее получил.

В Рунете это видео начало ходить в 2009 г. и называлось «25 кадр». Люди, пересылая его друг другу, обещали «панический страх, тревожность, ужас и галлюцинации». Особо впечатлительные зрители, которым к тому же случилось посмотреть ролик ночью, рассказывали, что потом включали везде свет и боялись, что человек из видео придет за ними.

I think it hits all the right notes. As Mooncalf said, unsettling. Of course, I cheated a little by recognizing the reference, but still.

This is a much better take on this particular theme than most of the ones that popped up during the initial Alicorn Twilight hullabaloo. It’s so very Twilight I-Will-Fix-This Sparkle.

I’m getting here that something happened and Twilight doesn’t feel there is any way to correct it. I’m also going to say that it possibly had something to do with Pinkie. As for what happened, no clue. Maybe something happened at the old castle but past that, I can’t put my figure on it. Damn fine story though, I could actually see the parts of the song in it.

A really good oneshot, very subtle. Something is wrong, but Twilight won’t tell us what. Maybe she doesn’t exactly know. But her thoughts are very tenuous, as though she is trying to hide from something. Her decision to schedule everything from here on is telling, somehow. Is she uncomfortable spending a whole day without structure because it leaves her too much time to think about herself, and that perhaps her life isn’t quite as fantastic as she claims? I feel like the other shoe is about to drop; it just didn’t happen in this story.

Something is wrong with twi. What happened to make twilight like this?

I also find it a little, unsatisfying? There doesn’t seem to be any change in twilights situation but perhaps thats the point?

I read the fic. Then I listened to the song and read the lyrics. But before either of those, I read part of 6160107’s comment. «I felt very unsettled by this.»

I think this fanfic feels exactly like the teetering edge; you start waiting for something to happen, but it never actually happens. or it’s already happened and you can’t quite realize what happened.

I read it as.Twilight’s reaction to essentially being written out of the main cast because apparently the super important thing Celestia needed to glue wings onto her for was. making her stop being Twilight Sparkle.

It’s a story about feeling uncomfortable. It’s a story that reads weird with the intention of making you feel uncomfortable.

This whole story was rather unsettling and somewhat disturbing. Although nothing is mentioned in any definitive way. I can assume a few things:

First off, it seems to be a very open to interpretation story. Sort of a draw your own conclusions thing. My idea is:

Given how Twilight is acting rather random, hyper, and somewhat impulsive. something significant must have recently happened to cause this. Looking at how she continuously talking about Pinkie Pie and even mimics her in some ways, tells me that it must be something about Pinkie that has her acting this way.

I believe that Pinkie Pie might have passed away somewhat recently in this story to cause this. Twilight is just trying to hold onto her memories of her by acting them out in order to cope. Her mention of flying away from problems means she doesn’t want to face reality. This also probably isn’t a distant future immortal Twi thing either since Spike is still small and living with her. She lost her laughter and is trying her best to avoid the reality of that by making her own false laughter.

I suppose I could just be dramatically overthinking things, but it’s just my interpretation of it. Well written and unsettling either way.

Responsibility sucks sometimes. But the thing you have to remind yourself is that Equestria has gotten by on as few as one princess at times. As the most junior of four princesses, there is very little you would be doing that absolutely has to be done and absolutely has to be done by you. As easy as it is to load up your plate until you run out of room, you could take anything you want off and it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

In the Fantastic Game, the player’s mission is to find and collect Dollas, which serve a purpose similar to Super Mario 64’s power stars or Banjo-Kazooie’s Jiggies. Dollas are required to unlock and uncover normally inaccessible areas of the game, such as new areas and worlds. There are 16 obtainable Dollas in total, many of which can be found as a reward for solving platforming sections, at the end of long hallways, or through a hidden teleporter.

The Fantastic Game makes many references to obscure art, music, video games, and pop culture. This is one of the key defining qualities of the game genre that the Fantastic Game inevitably spawned, for better or for worse.

Satan’s Anus [ ]

The Musical Stones [ ]

The Musical Stones are a set of 22 cylinder-shaped stone platforms located right in front of the spawn. Although they are put in two sets, they aren’t exactly aligned. Stepping on one of these stones will produce a sound effect that sounds like an object hitting a frying pan. Even though the stones are placed in a linear order, the musical notes are completely disorganized.

In the FANTASTIC 1.FUN version, Fantasticaneer added a blue, smaller stone platform next to the musical stones. Unlike the other stones, this platform will repeatedly play an assortment of a specific musical note, then play an assortment of a different musical note, and so on. 7 musical notes can be heard during this process, and after the last assortment ends, the process is automatically repeated. Stepping on this stone again will stop it from emitting sound.

Seizure Tunnel [ ]

It’s a tunnel located next to the spawn. This tunnel is slightly spinning in the counter-clockwise direction, and it’s colored in a way that makes it look like it could give someone a seizure, hence why it’s called «Seizure Tunnel». It’s colored by two-color gradients, one of which is green and yellow, while the other one, red and blue. A bridge that shares the same texture easily leads the player out of the tunnel. Two dollas can be found near the tunnel, one of which is inside of it, and the other one, above it. This last dolla can only be collected through The Leap of Faith, which is from where the player can easily get above the tunnel.

Additionally, the music that plays inside the tunnel is a remix of the song «K.K. Jazz» from the videogame Animal Crossing. The music plays and loops itself until the player exits the tunnel.

Mahna Mahna Ledge [ ]

The Mahna Mahna Ledge is an overly long stone platform that is located on the left side of the first area of the game. The «Mahna Mahna» song from The Muppets will repeatedly play until the player reaches the very end of the platform or until it decides to leave the platform. Upon getting there, the game will tell the player that there’s an invisible platform behind the Smash Mouth eggs and will present a floating and unreachable dolla behind the message.

If the player attempts to collect the floating dolla, it will fall and will be teleported to a dark room that houses a big blue eye, and a collectible dolla under it. In the room, the music from the Big Boo’s Haunt level from Super Mario 64 will be playing. Both the eye and the music are references to the Nintendo game.

Although it’s not possible to go into walls or any other structures, it is speculated that this dark room is entirely located inside the grass ramp that leads the player to the 5-dollaz room. This can be proven by the fact that the grassy-texture can be seen behind the black walls by checking the edges of the room, and the wall behind the eye is tilted, giving the impression that the room is internally shaped like an irregular triangular prism.

Fantastic Orb room [ ]

Popularly known as Egginem, this GIF. archive is found inside The Fantastic Game

The Fantastic Orb room is a room that is textured with the classic stone texture present in various parts of the game. It features a purple semi-transparent door on one of its sides, a sign saying «Fantastic Orb» above it and some inclined platforms directly in front of it. These platforms are the start of the obstacle course that leads the player to the Pendulum/Expert Plungophone Player and said obstacle course is continued by blocks of stone that are stuck on the wall. There’s a GIF of an apparently talking fried egg directly on top of the room, in which the eyes are yolks and the mouth is formed after a little gap that keeps rapidly opening and closing, making it look like if the egg is actually talking. Last but not least, a picture of the painting of Bomb-Omb Battlefield, the first level of Super Mario 64, can be found behind the room, and it will teleport the player to The Waluigi Tunnel and to The Restricted Door.

The Fantastic Orb itself is located at the very end of the Fantastic Orb room and is basically a white, floating shiny sphere that has fire on it. The fire doesn’t seem to damage the object, nor the player. When getting close to the room, it is possible to hear the song «I Feel Fantastic» from Johnathan Coulton repeatedly playing, and the orb is the source of it. It is unknown if it’s possible to stop the orb from emitting the song or manipulating the object itself in any form for that matter.

This picture serves as the file icon for The Fantastic Game and as the profile picture of Fantastcaneer’s Tumblr account.

In the FANTASTIC 1.FUN version, the orb makes a second appearance in the Ending Room (For now), however, this time, no sound can be heard coming from it. Technically, the orb also makes an appearance as the file icon for the game, except it’s colored pink. There are no more Fantastic Orb copies and/or variations in the game.

Smash Mouth Eggs [ ]

They’re most likely the most remarkable aspect of The Fantastic Game. They are a group of 4 unnaturally big eggs located on the very edge of one of the corners of the first area of the game. Two of them are really big, one of them is medium-sized, and there’s a smaller one. The fragment of the song «All Star» from Smash Mouth «So much to do, so much to see» keeps repeatedly playing once the player gets close to the eggs, hence why their name.

The Smash Mouth Eggs are a direct reference to an event that happened in 2011 where Steve Harwell, vocalist of the Smash Mouth band, was invited to an egg-eating competition alongside Guy Fieri. Lots of eggs were utilized to make an omelet for him, one that he ate while the All-Star song was playing in the background, and while a crowd of people was excitedly seeing him eat.

Dangerous Pit [ ]

The Dangerous Pit is apparently a square-shaped hole that resides near The Egg Table, and that was added in the FANTASTIC 1.FUN version. A white, weird sign next to it asks the player multiple times to not go into the hole, but if it manages to do so, the player will land on a dark area with the message: «GAME OVER: You’re not human enough to be Marcos Lopez», a direct reference to the Game Over screen from the Wii game called «Marcos Lopez: Part II v0.01».

Under the text lies a message asking the player for what reason it jumped into the pit, and a part of the music from the 2006 YouTube video «I Want A Cookie» will play in a looped manner. Both the changed Field of View and the music will stop playing only if the player manually restarts the game.

Pendulum/Expert Plungophone Player area [ ]

The Pendulum/Expert Plungophone Player area is a floating platform that looks like a rectangular cloud placed right above the Smash Mouth eggs. The area is postponed to a small obstacle course that initially starts with some inclined platforms in front of the Fantastic Orb room. After finally finishing the obstacle course, the player will then be able to access the platform, one that can be accessed by «[. ] pressing the ‘P» key, near the ‘O’ key» through teleportation, as delightfully suggested by a message present in the area. The game rewards the player for successfully completing the obstacle course by inserting a dolla on the platform.

In the first version of the game, the original version of the song «Propane Nightmares» by the Australian band «Pendulum» plays until the player leaves the area. However, in the FANTASTIC 1.FUN version, the song was replaced by what seems to be a remix of it by an expert «plungophone» player simply because it might cause a copyright claim, probably to prevent video makers from receiving the problem in case they make a gameplay video of the game. The little jingle that plays when the player descends has also changed from the very last excerpt of the song to a «ta-da» sound effect.

It is good to note that the player doesn’t necessarily need to complete the obstacle course to be able to teleport to the floating area. The technique of pressing «P» right after starting the game is very useful to speedrunners.

Yellow Museum [ ]

The Yellow Museum is yet another remarkable feature present in The Fantastic Game, probably even more remarkable than the Smash Mouth eggs. The Yellow Museum, as the name suggests, is a building composed of a yellow rectangular base that sustains two, big yellow triangles that serve as walls, and an extensive roof. There is a hole in the opposite side of the building which leads the player to an area between the Purple Art Museum and the corrupted location that leads to the Ending Room (For now) area. The player inevitably needs to go through a more simplistic obstacle course to get to said area, however, beating it might be a little difficult due to the game’s physics.
