Your goal in the Life of Mellow game is to survive as long as you can. The game offers a variety of modes, only one is free. The basic mode. In the basic mode, you start with X3 Mellows, X3 Tools, and X20 Food. In the wood mode, you get wood, logs, AXE, etc. The stone mode offers iron, stones, PICKAXE, etc. Tool Mode gives you X30 Tools and X50 Food. We would recommend you to build a sawmill as soon as possible and get X10 Wood Logs. And, then build a herbalist’s shop where you can use herbs to craft the potions.
As the game progresses, mellows will start catching ailments like a pandemic, cold, and more. Or, they might get injured while working. Potions can help them heal, otherwise, they will die. For cold, you can cut firewood in the sawmill. Later in the game, you can make them warm clothes.

This game is fun and I liked it, even though every corner was an advert or a purchase I liked what there game was like, one little problem, the AI would eventually just stop doing what it was meant to do like stop making tools even if u have the stuff to and mellows walking right across the map to grab ores when there was one right next to the settlement, along with all the mellows dying when they go to do anything, I’ve been waiting for a bug fix but one hasn’t came out so I’m just gonna play something els wile I wait so yeah, this game is pretty good overall so if u r wondering if u would like to get it than I would,
What this game needs
This game needs to improve, it is extraordinarily fun and a good concept but needs a little more to push it to 4-5 stars, it lacks, fun expansion, ocean travel, evolving housing, and fun markets.
Imagine a much larger map allowing for towns with 100s of Mellows that interact with each other by trading goods with each other in markets, explore on boats set up little towns that over time evolve. The game cause use ports and have that in the DLC with fishing, traders and more. Markets that help a mellow improve their base house. Separate towns that you could also build like colonies on a much larger map. This is what the game needs and lacks, also selecting mellows to work a certain locations could be a fun idea as well but expansion of the map, natural evolution of the town, ports to explore the world and set up new towns and Mellows actually interacting with each other is what this game needs to be a great game.
DLC to play properly
The game is interesting but to pay properly and keep “Mellows” happy you need to buy the DLC. It is good as in ads aren’t shoved in my face but I’m not sure I like it that much to put money into it especially when characters don’t finish tasks properly. Example, a builder did one second of work then walk off for a minute to return and do the same, again and again. I’m getting that with the herbalist and craftsman too.
To add, everything extra needs to be purchased. Removal of Ad banner, 2x gameplay, extra resource packs, rest of game.

Bad battery optimisation. I have iPhone 12 Pro and after 10 mini gaming it becomes very hot. Freezing. From time to time some mellows stop going where they should, just walking on the same place. Please fix those moments and this game would be great

Stuck
First i ran out of pick axe so i cant mine stone thus i cant make pick axe. Then now my mellows are “waiting for partner” but are nowhere to be found on screen or in houses, these mellows dont die either just keep waiting somewhere. Plus +mellows sometimes don’t increase mellows, I’ve checked. My total is stuck at 70+ for the longest time and i have MANY empty houses. Its too buggy and standstill.

Pretty good but..
Addictive but buggy
Great game but the bugs ruin the experience, although it’s forgivable due to this game being in beta.
The main issues I have had are the farm not finishing and not getting any harvest from it. And a weird bug where everyone in the village keeps dying at the same time with no warning meaning I have to start over despite making good progress which is frustrating.
I would also like there to me more content available on the free version of the game as it feels a little repetitive once you establish the main elements of the game and you’re left to just grow what’s already there.
It would also be nice to tell specific villagers what to do as I have accidentally moved the wrong villager off of specific tasks to take medicine and had to reconfigure the whole village to get everyone back where I want them. Plus it can be difficult to tell which villagers have the issues that pop up in the side menus so it would be better if I could click on the issue and see which villager it corresponds to.
However, I enjoy the game despite the issues. It’s really enjoyable and passes the time nicely. The game is paced nicely and the challenges are enjoyable to solve!
Foundations for a great game!
I wanted to write a genuine review exploring both pros and cons to this game.
I just wanted to start off by saying this is a fun game and has the foundations to be excellent.
I downloaded this game on a whim and thought I’d give it a go.
The idea of the game is to keep mellows (villagers) alive and to build a village. In order to do this you need to assign mellows to different jobs depending on where they’re needed.
I enjoy the idea of this and thought it was really fun to begin with… that was until I’d been playing the game for about 4 hours.
The game is stuck behind a paywall and you can’t progress any further without buying the DLC or premium pass.
It’s a very quick game if you don’t want to spend money on it and it quickly reaches the limit to what you can do on the game.
You can try and survive as long as possible but the enjoyment plateaus and you realise your just doing the same thing over and over again.
The game could be excellent if they added more features into the free version and made the DLC more enticing.
I would love to rate this game a 5/5 one day, it so easily could be!

Good game but the payed part….
Thats the title, and I mean it, a dlc is cool and all, but the fact u NEED the dlc to progress is a bit lame, but I get it, yall need some way to make mony, and the dlc dous look tasty!

Hi, the game idea is very good! And i love the design, it looks great! But i think the stuff that you are asking us to pay for should be in the game for free. Because if you play the free part if feels very incomplete, and i think that you should not ask people to pay for something that should be in the base game (i mean a dlc should ad something that is cool but not necessary to finish a game)

Great game but ruins battery
The game is amazing and I really loved playing it, but it almost instantly overheated my phone every time I opened the app, and continued heating to the point where I couldn’t touch my phone because it was too hot. Even though I loved the game itself I had to delete to save my phones battery

Vraiment bien
Jeu attachiant, un très bon début
Jeu très attachant avec les personnages et le principe de gestion. Mais chiant car trop d’éléments payants.
C’est une version bêta apparemment donc encore quelques bugs par ci par là (actuellement, je n’arrive pas à voir la liste de ma population).
Comme les précédents commentaires je trouve que les prix in game sont un peu excessifs, les bâtiments supplémentaires sont très intéressants mais 5.99€ uniquement pour ça est trop pour moi. Peut être que faire un pack + complet (bâtiments DLC, x2 speed, la possibilité de déplacer les bâtiments) pourrait justifier ce prix.
Ce serait cool aussi de proposer des pubs pour récupérer des ressources à la demande (et non de manière aléatoire) car j’ai été bloqué en n’ayant plus de Pierre ni d’outils pour en récupérer, ça devient un cercle vicieux.
Je vois beaucoup d’espoir dans ce jeu, il y a beaucoup de possibilité pour approfondir la gestion!
Concernant la version française, pas encore disponible mais j’ai rempli le formulaire pour aider à la traduction.

Having the resources, you start building the first house. Having a place to rest, then start thinking of more interesting things to cultivate. You can hire other marshmallows to help you grow and harvest crops, then expand the field of livestock and other things. For money collected from agricultural products, you will use it to build new buildings and expand the land. Missing a couple of things
This is one of the best mobile games I’ve ever seen BUT why does it have to be paid to get full access we can all agree that if this game was not fully paid this would be the best game ever created and there’s some miner bugs like some mellows stop moving but it’s ok every game has a bug but please man give me the full game
Minor bugs
The idea is great but some parts of the game seems not to be working properly. When I build stone houses, for example, it still says “wooden house” even though the layout is not the same. Also it would be nice if we could demolish the wooden houses so we’d use the space with other buildings later
