Башня Лотте Ворлд или Lotte World Tower и Seoul Sky

Давно не обновлял записи в блоге, сегодня хорошая новость для тех кто любит смотреть на город с высоты птичьего полета.
Я провожу Вас на крышу Кореи, на высоту 555 метров, самого высокого здания в Корее, и №6 по высоте в мире.
Это впечатляющее произведение человеческого гения из бетона, стекла и металла.

Месторасположение Lotte World Tower

Доехать до Башни Лотте Ворлд можно на метро, ветка №2 (Зеленая) станция «Jamsil», Выход (с улицы) №1, №2, либо говорят можно пройти подземными «тропками» через торговый центр Lotte World Mall, главное двигаться по указателям.

На карте Сеула, Башня Лотте Ворлд находится на Юго-Востоке от центра столицы, и прямо через дорогу от парка развлечений Лотте Ворлд.

Недавно была церемония открытия поэтому остались стенды баннеры указывающие направление на обзорную башню.

Во время Вашего посещения их может и не быть. Зато эти указатели всегда смогут Вам помочь найти верную дорогу.
Касса и вход Seoul Sky, находятся на первом подземном этаже — B1.

Стены из жидкокристалических мониторов украшают подход к Seoul Sky, на экранах демонстрируют промо ролики Башни Лотте Ворлд Тауэр, и не двусмысленно приглашают ее посетить.

Обзорная башня, называется «Seoul Sky» («Небо Сеула»). Пройдите вовнутрь и займите очередь. В выходные людей может быть очень много, но людской поток грамотно регулируется служащими и очередь продвигается быстро и организованно.

Кассы, вся необходимая информация в открытом доступе, на экранах мониторов, читайте во время ожидания.

Количество людей поднимающихся на башню строго регулируется, и на билетах указано время в которое можно посетить Seoul Sky. Время работы можно посмотреть на сайте Lotte World Tower. По состоянию на октябрь 2019 года:

Что внутри башни Лотте Ворлд Тауэр

Приготовьтесь пройти через охрану, все как в аэропорту, никаких колющих режущих, взрывчатых веществ, отравляющих газов и прочих аксессуаров, даже если у Вас есть лицензия на их хранение и ношение.

Далее поток делится на две части, одна та что слева, для тех кто хочет оставить памятную фотографию на фоне башни, Вам вручат карточку с QR кодом, и «наверху» Вам предложат приложить ее сканеру и выбрать нужную фотографию на тематическом фоне. А очередь справа для тех, кто просто хочет посмотреть на город.
Спускаемся чтобы посмотреть выставочные экспонаты и погрузится в историю создания башни от проекта до осуществления, все таки как здорово, что Мы люди на это способны.

«Бетон, стекло и металл» плюс камень фундамента. Не пробегайте мимо, ощутите всю величественность проекта. Проникнитесь всем, что представлено на витринах, показывается на экранах, это все работа тысяч людей, надо отдать толику внимания старанию и грандиозным усилиям этих людей, они это действительно заслужили.

2 сверхскоростных шаттл лифта, для них отдельный холл, закрытый от коридора ожидания автоматическими дверями.

Смотровая площадка

Лифт очень быстрый, периодически закладывает уши. Верхняя половина лифта оборудована жк экранами. Видео есть, но я специально не стал его выкладывать, чтобы портить Вам первое впечатление.

Здесь делают профессиональные фотографии на прозрачном полу, затем фотографии можно распечатать уже не помню на каком этаже, по-моему на 121.

Схема по этажам, всего на схеме 7 этажей, но на этаж Lounge мы так и не попали.

Есть выходы на улицу, можно постоять под открытым небом.

Видите посредине озера небольшой полуостров? Это открытая часть развлекательного парка Лотте Ворлд.

На каждом этаже указан номер и высота в метрах.

Время осмотра мне показалось не лимитированным. Насладившись видами вдоволь Вы можете пройти на выход, т.е к лифту.
На выходе Вы можете приобрести понравившиеся сувениры на память о посещении этой замечательной башни.

Lotte World Tower – Aquarium, Skydeck, Theme Park and More!

The Lotte Tower complex in Jamsil is one of the more interesting places in Seoul. With attractions varying from the best view in Korea, to an indoor theme park, there’s a lot to see and do here.

Lotte Tower (롯데월드타워) is the tallest building in the OECD, coming in at 555 metres tall. Only 4 buildings in the whole world surpass the height of Lotte Tower, and this makes it a place with an amazing view.

The tower is located in Jamsil, Seoul, and contains a mall (롯데월드몰), an aquarium (롯데월드 아쿠아리움), a sky deck, and a whole host of other attractions. Further, it is right next to Lotte World (롯데월드, one of Seoul’s ‘big three’ theme parks).

The tower itself is easy to access from Jamsil subway station (잠실역) and you won’t even need to set foot outside of the station to reach the tower. Lotte World is also easily accessible from the station and both are well labelled and easy to reach as all of the signage will be in English as well as Korean.

How to Get to Lotte World Tower

Lotte World is very easy to reach, and this is partly what makes it so popular. Lotte Tower and Lotte World are located both right next to each other. As such, they are great to do on the same day!

Lotte World Tower is located at Jamsil Station on the green line (line 2). Jamsil is found on the eastern side of the green line, just to the south of the Han River. While Jamsil itself is a little out of the way, line 2 can take you virtually anywhere in the central city. This means that it is easy to travel both to and from.

Once you reach Jamsil Station, you can’t miss Lotte World Tower. This is due to the fact that the metro station is actually built into the basement of the tower itself! Once you reach the station, you will find clear signposts (in English) telling you exactly where to go for each attraction.

Probably the question that most people are looking for an answer to! How much do Lotte World Tickets Cost?

These are the prices that you will pay if you purchase tickets at the door or from the official Lotte websites.

Lotte World Opening Hours

Lotte World itself has varying hours depending on the day and time of year. However, typically it is open from 9:30 am – 10 pm. On Friday and Saturday, the theme park will close at 11 pm. This official Lotte World page shows updated hours.

Seoul Sky (Lotte World Tower) has very similar hours. Opening at 10 am, the tower closes at 10 pm Sunday-Thursday, and 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. On holidays it is also open until 11 pm. Updated hours.

Lotte World Aquarium is open from 10 am to 10 pm. This may change on special holidays but otherwise is the same regardless of the day. Operating hours.

General Information

Depending on the day, the tower will be very busy and it is advisable to either book tickets in advance online, or go there with the intention of looking around the nearby area for a few hours while waiting.

It will cost you 27,000KRW per adult and 23,000KRW per child (under 13) for a trip to the top of the tower. Depending on the day, it may also take up to a couple of hours to make it through the queues.

However, at this time there is a lot to do nearby. Whether or not you want to leave the Lotte Complex, you will find a lot to do and see. Inside the mall are large food courts, lots of shopping, and even an indoor aquarium.

The aquarium will set you back 31,000KRW per adult and 27,000 per child. However, if you want to visit the tower also, you can get 30% off the aquarium price. If you are interested in visiting both attractions, make sure to purchase a tower ticket first so you can show it to the aquarium staff for your discount.

Lotte World is also nearby and is somewhere you could easily spend a whole day. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance for 57,000. However, it is easy to get discounted tickets if you search around. The websites above offer tickets for as low as 32,000!

Lotte World Tower Highlights

The Lotte World Tower complex is very big and holds a lot of attractions. The mall alone covers many different floors and has a whole range of attractions – and that’s not even considering the theme park, aquarium and skydeck.

Many people will visit Lotte World Tower just for the shopping. If this sounds like you, there are a few things to keep in mind. Lotte World Mall is generally one of the busier malls in Seoul and it’s also one of the more expensive.

Other than the shopping, the Lotte complex offers a lot. The theme park is my personal favourite in Korea due to the fact that it is both indoors and outdoors, the skydeck has absolutely stunning views, and the aquarium is one of the biggest and most diverse around.

I will cover each of the main attractions in this post. However, it is worth keeping in mind that the mall also offers a lot more. I highly recommend checking out the official website before visiting, as you never know what you might come across.

Lotte World Theme Park

The theme park is half located inside, and as such, it is perfect in winter or summer.

Lotte World Theme Park has a whole host of different attractions of all kinds. The theme park has both indoor and outdoor locations which make it perfect for any weather and any season. The outdoor and indoor areas can be freely entered and exited and this is one of my personal favourite parts of the park.

Luckily, the indoor park is always open. The indoor area houses most of the rides as well as a few different roller coasters. Meaning that even if the weather is terrible, Lotte World can be a lot of fun. The indoor park is the main attraction and the outdoor area feels like it is just a bonus as it has a few extra rides and attractions.

All of the rides are covered in the entrance fee. However, food, souvenirs, and some of the other attractions are an added cost. None of these is essential, however, and it is possible to get away without spending too much. You are also allowed to bring food in provided that you stick to the designated eating areas.

Lotte World also has a large variety of roller coasters that vary in size, speed, and… reality (there is a VR rollercoaster). Nearly all of the roller coasters and other rides have a height limit that is strictly enforced. These restrictions vary from 100cm to 140cm (I believe anyone over 140cm can do every ride). An age limit of 10 years old is also in place on some of the rides.

From experience, these rules ARE enforced. My brother was rejected from rides for being only a centimetre under the height requirement.

As with most big theme parks, Lotte World suffers one big issue. That is crowds. Pick the day that you visit wisely as it can really make or break the experience.

I first went to Lotte World on December 26th 2016. Big mistake. One of the keys to having a great time at any theme park is picking the right time to visit (you can see the busiest times on the right), and that means not picking what is probably one of the busiest days of the year for visiting.

It is important to buy the tickets for a good time, and that means some planning. If possible, do not buy tickets for weekends, public holidays, or school vacations (which you can find a list of here). Obviously, sometimes you can’t plan the perfect visit though. I would still recommend visiting, however, as the atmosphere is totally worth it. Just avoid the busiest times if you can.

Lotte World is like… A whole different world!

By far my favourite part of the park is the atmosphere. I haven’t visited many theme parks, but I have been to Disney Land in Paris, and a couple of theme parks in the US. However, none of them amazed me (even when I was 6!) like Lotte World did. Something about an indoor theme park is truly amazing.

It feels like a whole fantasy world! They will even let off fireworks indoors if you visit at the right times! I was very impressed with how they managed to totally convert this building into a magical fantasy world. My pictures can’t really do it justice, but I have tried to convey the feeling!

The theme park also has an ice skating rink (롯데월드 아이스링크). It isn’t included in the theme park itself, but it is very close and can easily be done on the same day.

It does, however, have a further cost of about 20,000KRW attached to it (including the hiring of gear). By far the coolest part of the rink is that it forms the centre of the whole indoor section of the theme park.

The ice rink is a great way to relax after Lotte World. There are generally no queues for the skating and the rink itself is of great quality. However, it suffers the same issues as Lotte World. That is to say, it can be extremely busy at times. Unfortunately, this means that the skating conditions can be less than ideal at times.

If you can find a time where it isn’t as busy though, you can have a great time!

Lotte World Aquarium

Stingrays are definitely one of my favourite ocean creatures!

The aquarium is large and includes a wide variety of marine life. They even have a beluga whale! The aquarium itself spans multiple stories and there are some very cool sights to behold inside. While I haven’t visited many aquariums of this size, I must say that I really enjoyed Lotte World Aquarium.

Not only due to the fact that it had some amazing animals, but it was well designed, interesting, and just all-around good. The aquarium has an amazing variety of different creatures and it is fantastic – especially if you are visiting with children.

Both of the times that I have visited haven’t been overly busy, and it makes the experience far more enjoyable.

While the aquarium isn’t for everyone, it is a great place to visit. Especially if you are already visiting Lotte World Tower. If you present your (tower) ticket when purchasing the ticket for the aquarium you will get a 30% discount.

It is worth noting however that this doesn’t work the opposite way. It may have changed now, but when I visited you had to purchase the Lotte World Tower ticket first. This ticket will allow you to get a discount on the aquarium ticket – not vice-versa.

They even had a beluga!

The variety of animals at the aquarium is astounding. The area is divided into nine sub-areas. These are the Nature Zone, Tropical Rivers, Amazon River, Sea Line Zone, The Ocean, Beluga Zone, Coral Reef Garden, Play Ocean, and the Polar Region Zone.

The Nature Zone is a collection of smaller tanks and exhibits containing many (smaller) fish and aquatic life. The Play Ocean area is dedicated to giving visitors a place to closely view, and sometimes touch, the wildlife. This is a hands-on area and is great for children.

The rest of the areas mostly explain themselves. However, some of the most popular animals are penguins, crocodiles, belugas, and piranhas. But of course, there is so much more!

However, if you aren’t interested in the aquarium you can always just look around the mall. The mall is gigantic and can easily keep one entertained for a long time! For more information on the exact stores located inside, feel free to have a look at the official website here.

Lotte World Tower

If you are scared of heights then the sky-deck might not be for you, but it is a breathtaking view!

The views from the Lotte World Observation Deck are staggering and amazing. Unfortunately, they were also a little bit disappointing for me.

Visiting the tower is a truly amazing sight. Everything else is just so small! Even the buildings that are 100+ metres tall look tiny from Lotte Tower. It really is a breathtaking view.

The source of my disappointment was caused because I visited with the intention of taking photos. While this is possible, the true scale of the tower and the city below makes the photos look underwhelming. Simply due to how tall Lotte Tower is, it’s hard to take pictures of the amazing scene below that convey the perspective that you get from Seoul Sky.

This was just my experience though. I still had a wonderful time, but I enjoyed just looking rather than photographing. This is something for photographers to keep in mind, however. If you are looking to take some stunning city photos there are a lot of other great locations.

After being initially disappointed at the tower being too tall, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The view is almost unbelievable! I don’t know how we ever got to such a level of engineering to allow us to build structures like this. You can easily see the whole central area of Seoul!

However, a word of warning: Make sure to check the weather (and air pollution) before visiting as this will greatly change what you see when you get up the tower.

Sunset is a fantastic time to visit as you can see the city not only in the light but also under the colourful skies and then under darkness. You can learn how to identify a good sunset viewing day. Due to the queues, make sure to visit a few hours in advance of when you want to be at the top of the tower.

Other than that I can’t really say much. Lotte Tower is a big building and the view is quite stunning. If you are scared of heights this might not be for you, but otherwise, I would recommend this to everyone!

Advice for Photographers

If you are intending to visit Seoul Sky to take some photos, then I have a few pieces of advice.

Make sure to bring a lens hood. When you are shooting through glass always make sure that you have a lens hood. This will prevent the glass from reflecting (or at least minimise reflections). Further, if you have one, try to bring a full lens cap rather than a flower lens hood. Lens hoods like these ones are best.

If you have a small tripod, it’s ideal for Lotte Tower. While there are a few open areas in Seoul Sky, there are also a few narrow areas. Some of the best views are in these areas. As such, it’s hard to set up a full-size tripod and you will find yourself constantly moving it to let people pass. For this reason, bring a small tripod if you have one. Something like the Manfrotto BeFree or Pixi.

Bring a long lens. While this may seem obvious, it is worth pointing out. I generally use wide lenses for cityscapes as that is my personal preference. However, for the reason above (the tower is just so tall!), I highly recommend bringing a zoom lens to Lotte Tower. It will allow you to catch details you would otherwise miss.

Should You Visit Lotte World Tower?

Even if none of the above activities interests you, there is a lot to do in the Lotte complex and in Jamsil. From shopping to experiencing fantastic cafes. As such, it is a place that everyone should visit in Seoul. Not only that, but it’s also a very iconic location within the city.

Lotte World is a fantastic theme park and another great place to visit. While Everland and even Seoulland arguably have better rides, Lotte World is very unique. The atmosphere there is something that I have never experienced in another theme park. On top of that, the fact that it is indoors makes it a great place to visit when other theme parks are out of the question.

Lotte World Tower and Seoul Sky have stunning views over the city, and there is no higher point. Although I was disappointed at first, I think that the view from Lotte World Tower is also breathtaking and mesmerising at the same time. It’s just so tall and makes everything else feel so small!

The Lotte World Aquarium is another great place to visit. Especially if you already plan on visiting Lotte World Tower. The aquarium is by far one of the best that I have ever visited and I am glad that I did take the time to experience it.

All-in-all, the attractions around Lotte World Tower are all unique and appealing in their own way. There is no need to do every activity, and you can pick what suits you. Whether that is ice-skating, rollercoasters, city views, or seeing ocean life.

So yes, you should visit Lotte World Tower at least once on your visit to Seoul!

Does Lotte Tower Have Good Views?

Although they aren’t the best views in the city (Seoul has many other great views), Lotte Tower does have some good views. Especially at sunset! The biggest issue for me is that Lotte Tower is almost too too – it’s hard to get a perspective from the top of the tower.

Can I Stay in Lotte Tower?

Yes! But don’t expect it to be cheap. In fact, the hotel within Lotte Tower is the best rated in all of Seoul.

Чтобы добраться до смотровой площадки, нужно будет использовать Sky Shuttle, двухэтажный лифт со скоростью 600 м в минуту. В самое короткое время он доставляет посетителей на вершину мира. В ожидании лифта гости могут наслаждаться экспонатами в выставочной зоне на этажах 1-2. Выставка включает в себя произведения искусства, отражающие историю, культуру и гордость корейского народа на протяжении веков. Посетители также могут приобрести товары марки Seoul Sky в сувенирном магазине, чтобы помнить о своей поездке или подарить их в качестве сувенира.

Лотте Ворлд Молл и Аквариум

Здравствуйте, уважаемые читатели, давно не было статей о достопримечательностях, виноват, поэтому попытаюсь загладить свою вину кратким рассказом об одном на мой взгляд достойнейшем для посещения месте, Лотте Ворлд Молл (Lotte World Mall) и Лотте Ворлд Аквариум (Lotte World Aquarium) в Сеуле.

Башня Lotte World Tower на время написания статьи, является самым высоким зданием в Южной Корее. Самая высокая ее часть еще не достроена, но основной зал уже полностью функционален.
Еще не все мне известно, но пока, туда можно пойти по следующим причинам:

Есть магазин студии Гимли, поклонники мудрых японских мультфильмов найдут здесь свои сувениры. Магазинчик достойный и очень интересный, уникальный товар, по всей России не сыскать.

Аквариум Лотте Ворлд

И наконец, океанариум, на наш взгляд это самый приятный аквариум в Корее в котором мы были. До аквариума в Lotte World Tower, лучшим был морской комплекс на берегу моря в городе Йосу на юге Кореи. Не смотря на то что рыб не так много как например в Йосу, и нет крупных акул как в КОЭКсе, в Башне Лотте Ворлд рыбы, а особенно морские млекопитающие, как будто в хорошем настроении, какие-то более живые что-ли. Аквариум чистый, стекла прозрачнейшие, словно нет барьера между Вами и морской фауной.

Особенно яркие впечатления на нас оказал вот этот аквариум с белугами. Прозрачная конструкция водного резервуара, а именно скругление его нижнего ребра по нижней части периметра позволяет не просто смотреть на красивых млекопитающих со стороны, как на аквариумных рыбок, но как-будто быть в их среде являясь частью их окружения. Белуги неспешно проплывают прямо над Вашими головами, разговаривая на своем магическом языке, за ними можно наблюдать часами.

Иногда если у кого то из них хорошее настроение, они даже предлагают поиграть, например в мяч.

Есть также так называемый touch experience можно потрогать небольших морских животных, рыб, крабов и прочую живность. Много детских фотозон.

Как добраться до Лотте Ворлд Молл и Лотте Ворлд Аквариум

Lotte World Tower (Башня Лотте Ворлд) находится рядом с парком развлечений Lotte World на пересечении веток №2 и №8 станция метро Jamsil выходы из метро 1,2,10,11.

Мы заехали на автомобиле, и из парковки вошли в здание. Если на метро, думаю не ошибусь предположив, что войдя через Lotte World Mall, Вы сможете пройти к аквариуму ведь здания между собой сообщаются.
Если подниметесь на поверхность с выходов 1 и 2, Вам предстанет такая картина:

Свозили на экскурсию на самый высокий небоскреб Южной Кореи – Lotte Tower (Сеул, Чамсиль), он пока еще строится, но будет на 555 м. Любопытное здание, целый комплекс скорее. Несколько заметок с экскурсии, а в основном фотографии.

Сразу скажу компании Лотте спасибо за экскурсию – правда было просто интересно, да и потратили время на нас, показали много интересного. Понятно, что у них свой интерес, но все же…Они уже и до этого показывали, что умеют грамотно работать. Вот с памятником Пушкина в Сеуле тоже неплохо сделали, но сегодня про небоскреб…

Нам сначала показали макет всей этой «стройки века». Надо сразу отметить, что Lotte World Tower – это хотя и самая впечатляющая, но отнюдь не единственная составляющая целого комплекса, чье официальное название Lotte World Tower & Lotte World Mall. Весь комплекс состоит из пяти основных объектов: небоскреб Lotte World Tower (запланированная высота – 123 этажа или 555 м), кинотеатр (12 этажей или 78 м), универмаг для дорогих брендов Avenuel (10 этажей, 60 м), торговый центр Lotte World Mall (12 этажей, 76 м) и большой концертный зал.

Но вот так выглядит схема башни, а также макет всего комплекса.

Проект «мурыжили» долго. Давно уже говорили, что пора Сеулу обзавестись серьезным небоскребом, так как 63-этажный на Ёидо – это круто, но для 1980-х гг. Вот это здание

Но проблема с Лотте Тауэр, что она стоит на пути посадки самолетов на военном аэродроме в Соннаме. Два раза проект отклоняли, но пришел президент Ли Мен Бак, грохнул кулаком по столу и сказал: «Башне быть!». Военные поворчали, ворчат и сейчас, но Лотте им новую взлетно-посадочную полосу построила, да и против президента не попрешь. В итоге стройка с 2010 г. пошла.

Сейчас ядро возведено уже до 75 (из 123) этажей. Облицовано до 50 этажа.

Было много проектов этой башни. Вот основные варианты. Кое-какие мне нравятся больше, чем победивший, но и этот ничего. В целом что-то вроде «штыка», который раздваивается на вершине.

Кстати, хотя здание по завершению строительства не будет самым высоким в мире, а лишь 6, но будет самая высокая в мире обзорная площадка на высоте 500 м. Лично я люблю высоту, потому обязательно (если получится) хочу там побывать.

Нас же свозили на 49 этаж
Вот везли во внешнем лифте, что перепугало многих )) )Вот так это выглядит.

Вот вид примерно с 200 м. А с 500 м обещают вид на 80 км в округе. В общем, точно гарантированная достопримечательность.

Но про башню на этом все, ниже выставлю заметку, которая была в РГ, там есть разные подробности, так что читаем дальше.
В принципе, в башне пока показывать не так много чего, стройка в разгаре, сдавать собираются в 2016 г.

Но много другого интересного – самый крупный универмаг брендов, самый крупный в Корее аквариум будет. Самый крупный кинозал в Азии, где самый крупный в мире экран. Накануне прошла церемония регистрации в Книге рекордов Гиннеса…

А вот и сам экран… 34 метра вроде. Сам зал, кстати, не такой и большой, но залов этих в комплексе много, аж на 4600 мест.

Универмаг, торговый молл, как и киноцентр, почти готовы. Там есть интересные «фишки».
Ну вот например, лестница «Шанель» в форме логотипа фирмы. Говорят, что фирма не платила Лотте за рекламу ))))

Интересная задумка – в торговом центре создан отдельный район, где восстановлена обстановка улиц в Корее в период с 1930 по 1980-е гг. Интересно будет, пока не особо заметно, но должно быть интересно…

А вот виды торгового центра и универмага…

А так Сеул получает новую достопримечательность. Точно будет одним из главных символов. Наверное будет более стильно и современно выглядеть столица, но без своего восточного колорита. Хотя говорят, что в форме башни есть сочетание корейских форм, но, честно говоря, это надо додумывать…
Вот совсем рядом Lotte Castle – по поводу него долго ругались )))

Но в целом, ИМХО, мне Lotte Tower нравится, а уж на обзорную площадку на 500 м надо съездить.. )))

От иностранных туристов неоднократно доводилось слышать, что столице Южной Кореи не хватает броского символа, который бы своим видом олицетворял динамичный, энергичный и современный образ этой страны. Мол, что Сеул уступает в этом плане Сингапуру, Гонконгу, Тайбэю, Токио, Шанхаю и другим динамичным мегаполисам Азии, запоминающимся много своими впечатляющими высотными зданиями. Но, похоже, этот недостаток Сеул совсем скоро устранит.
В настоящий момент в южной части Сеула в районе станции метро Чамсиль уже устремился ввысь на несколько сот метров новый огромный небоскреб Lotte World Tower, который станет самым большим зданием Южной Кореи, а также и одним из главных символов как столицы Кореи, так и страны в целом.
Представители корпорации «Лотте», которая ведет строительство LWT, подготовила для иностранных журналистов экскурсию по небоскребу и остальным зданиям комплекса. Сам Lotte World Tower еще строится, но уже «взлетел» в небо более чем на 300 метров, став одной из главных доминант мегаполиса.

Самая высокая обзорная площадка мира

В духе времени и с учетом «особых условий»
Так называемые «зеленые технологии», без использования которых в наше время не обходится строительство новых зданий, в полной мере использована и в этом комплексе «Лотте». Для генерации электричества и в целях энергосбережения будут активно использованы шесть видов новых и возобновляемых источников энергии – солнце, ветер, геотермальные и прочие. Так, огромная крыша концертного зала полностью отдана под батареи с фотогальваническими элементами, а верхняя часть Lotte World Tower облицуется панелями, которые будут играть роль окон, а также вырабатывать энергию, используя солнечные лучи.
Один из главных вопросов, который возникает, когда забираешься на большую высоту, касается безопасности. Небоскреб спроектирован так, чтобы его стекла могли выдержать скорость ветра в 80 м/с, а сама структура должна спокойно устоять при землетрясении в 7 баллов по шкале Рихтера. С учетом условий и особенностей Кореи этот запас прочности признан более чем достаточным.

Seoul Sky: Обзорная площадка Lotte World Tower

Лучше всего, конечно, идти в ясный день и в будни, чтобы народа меньше было, иначе могут быть очереди. Можно заранее по интернету зарегистрироваться и пойти. Стоимость 27 тысяч вон – примерно 23 доллара (взрослый билет).

На входе вот такое вот расписание, когда поднимают группы наверх. Когда народа слишком много, то могут ограничивать число посетителей, а потому увеличиваются очереди. Правда есть возможность подняться тогда, купив билет за 50 тысяч вон.

В целом, с моей точки зрения, цены вполне нормальные для такого объекта. Когда меня несколько лет назад на пару-тройку дней занесло в Дубайи, то хотел подняться на Бурдж-аль-Халифа, но оказалось, что там и регистрироваться надо заранее, а ценник на подъем прямо сейчас был в районе нескольких сотен долларов, а потому не пошел. Здесь же подешевле. Вроде бы владелец Лотте Син Дон Бин лично дал указание, чтобы не задирали особо цену.

Интересно начинается сразу после покупки билетов. Там надо будет пройтись по паре коридоров, прежде дойти до основного лифта, ведущего вверх.
С самого начала встречается такая вот колонна, где все пространство на ней сделано в виде экрана, меняющего постоянно свои причудливые рисунки.

Потом вот такой вот коридор с другими световыми шоу на потолке и стенах… Иногда показывают разные изображения Кореи, вид небоскреба и прочее. Это вроде бы Media Wall называется

Желающие могут сфотографироваться вот здесь (за небольшую плату), сзади за спиной будет изображение небоскреба во всей красе, так что сразу будет фото на память. Вообще, возможность сделать фото тут поставлена на поток и хорошо организована, но про это немного позже.

Мне же понравился вот этот коридор, который уже непосредственно перед лифтами. На потолке вот такая вот цифровая красота – это огромные жк-экраны, где вот такие вот узоры постоянно меняются. Действительно, очень красиво.

А вот и лифт – Sky shuttle. Он занесен в Книгу рекордов Гиннеса, аж два раза. Вроде бы как самый протяженный и потому что «двухпалубный»

Далее заходим в лифт. Ехать в нем надо одну минуту, но скучно не будет. Как только зашли, то сразу же стены и потолок превращаются в один большой жк-экран, где начинают показывать очень красивый ролик с видами небоскреба, окрестностей Сеула, а также рассказывают историю строительства.

Фото не успел сделать, так как смотрел постоянно ролик. Но кое-что можно увидеть на видеофайле, который записал про посещение. Вот здесь можно посмотреть (на ролике там часть про лифт с 1-11 до 1-45)

В итоге мы поднялись на 117-й этаж, на высоту 478 метров. Там всего три огромных этажа, по которым люди ходят, разглядывая окрестности. В итоге 123-й этаж будет на высоте 485 м

Вот некоторые виды

На каждом своё: на одном просто проходим по периметру, смотря на окрестности вокруг, на следующем к этому добавляется обзорная площадка со стеклянным полом. Их две – с противоположных сторон одного и того же этажа. В одной есть «прикольная» функция: можно сделать пол черным, а потом разом сделать прозрачным – и под ногами сразу открывается почти полкилометра высоты….

Тут же услуги по фотографии предлагают: вас фоткают, показывают фото, вы выбираете, которые понравились, а потому на следующем этаже вы уже оплачиваете фото, которые вам дают в распечатанном виде. Дают также и ссылку, где можно скачать файл с фото – удобно и хорошая память о прогулке на обзорную площадку.

На одном из этажей есть также выход на улицу, тоже добавляет свежести и впечатлений.
На последнем 123-м этаже есть кафешка небольшая и опять же возможность глянуть немного сверху на Сеул через стеклянную стену.

Тут же магазин самых разных сувениров, посвященных этой башне. Впрочем более крупный магазин есть на выходе внизу тоже. Мимо него не пройдете.

Когда спускаетесь на лифте вниз, то снова стены лифта превращаются в экраны и на них демонстрируют ролик с видами окрестностей, этапами строительства башни и прочего.

Если резюмировать, то я бы рекомендовал каждому побывать на этой площадке. В целом сам небоскреб и комплекс Lotte World Tower стал тем, чего Сеулу не хватало – «небоскреб-обложка», «главное здание». Сама по себе обзорная площадка понравилась, там не только вид сверху дают, но и многое другое, где сразу отражается имидж Кореи как высокотехнологичной страны.

В комплексе же также куча магазинов, включая книжный, самых разных ресторанов, кинотеатры, океанариум и опять же обзорная площадка. Там реально очень легко целый день потратить и не пожалете. Не скажу, что там особо дешево, но как бы (ИМХО) уровень цен соответствует качеству.

Напоследок: обзорная площадка Lotte World Tower – третья по высоте в мире, а со стеклянным полом – самая высокая в мире (высота – 478 м). Все в башне 123 этажа, общая высота 555 м. У этого комплекса хватает своих “рекордов Гиннеса” – самый большой в мире экран в кинотеатре, самый скоростной лифт небоскреба (как раз тот, на котором везут на обзорную площадку) и прочее.

Архитектурный проект здания был выполнен в известной фирме Kohn Pedersen Fox командой Джеймса фон Клемперера. Проект был согласован и одобрен в марте 2009 года, [5] и через семь месяцев начались грунтовые работы. [3] Однако, на начальном этапе проекта предполагалось, что здание будет спроектировано американской фирмой Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. [6]

미국 시카고 미시건호 주변의 초고층 건물들이 보여주듯 호수 주변 고층건물의

롯데월드타워 전체의 무게는 75만 톤에 달하며,
이는 성인 기준 서울시 전체 인구 약 1천만 명의 몸무게와 같습니다.

롯데월드타워를 잘 지탱하기 위한 건물의 기초(MAT) 공사는
지하 38m 깊이까지 땅을 파내고 그 아래 단단한 암반층에 지름 1m,
길이 30m의 쇠기둥 108개를 박아넣어 암반을 보강한 다음, 그 위에
4,200톤의 철근과 8만 톤에 달하는 고강도 콘크리트를 투입해
가로 72m, 세로 72m, 높이 6.5m의 거대한 매트를 시공했습니다.

이는 세계 최고층 ‘부르즈 할리파(Burj Khalifa)에 비해
훨씬 두꺼울 뿐 아니라 콘크리트양도 2.5배에 달할 만큼 견고합니다.

Парк аттракционов Лотте Уорлд (Lotte World)

Лотте Уорлд или Lotte World в Сеуле — крупнейший крытый парк аттракционов в мире. Занесён в книгу рекордов Гиннеса. На его территории в 128 246 м² расположились аттракционы на любой вкус, а также ледовый каток, театр фокусов, торговый центр и даже 5-звёздочный отель. Но и это ещё не всё: рядом был построен целый остров развлечений в водоёме под открытым небом.

Если вы будете в Южной Корее, то это место должно быть в обязательной программе для посещения. Во-первых, вас удивят огромные масштабы. Во-вторых, количество возможностей весело провести время. В-третьих, сюда можно ехать всем, независимо от возраста.

Аттракционы

Парк делится на две зоны: открытая «Волшебный остров» (Magic Island) и закрытая «Приключение» (Adventure). Между собой они соединены пешеходным мостом. В обоих отделениях есть аттракционы для разной возрастной категории. Рядом с каждым стоит табличка, предупреждающая об ограничениях по росту.

Зона «Adventure»

Имеет целых 4 этажа, и дополнительный подземный с закрытым ледовым катком. На первом уровне наибольшее количество развлечений. Их условно разделяют на сами аттракционы, шоу и игры.

1 этаж

В разделе «аттракционов» есть пара вариантов для взрослых. Это «Конкистадор» (The Conquistador) — раскачивающаяся большая лодка и «Гигантская петля» (Giant Loop) для самых смелых. Всем без исключения должен понравится «Парк Юрского периода (Flume Ride). Здесь вы не просто прокатитесь на американских горках, а ещё увидите динозавров и доисторические растения. И между делом окажитесь облитым водой.

Для школьников придумано путешествие «Приключения Синдбада» (The Adventures of Sinbad), где они на лодке отправятся в подземный мир с драконами. По-настоящему напугаться можно в «Могиле ужасов» (Tomb of Horror). Живые актёры и страшный интерьер заставят покричать каждого.

Семьям с маленькими детьми подойдут «Пьяные корзины», которые крутятся вокруг себя. Также есть любимая всеми карусель с лошадьми (Camelot Carousel). На территории расположились несколько каруселей и качелей для самых маленьких и большой «мир» игр для детей (Lotty’s Kidstoria).

На втором уровне находится «French Revolution». Это огромная американская горка с петлями и вращениями на 360 градусов. Подходит школьникам средних классов и старше.

3 этаж

На территории 3 этажа есть два больших аттракциона: «Приключения в джунглях» (Jungle Adventure) и монорельсовая дорога (World Monorail). В первом случае вы отправитесь в приключение на лодке в пещеру, где познакомитесь с дикими джунглями. А на железной дороге вы объедите почти весь парк Lotte World по монорельсе на высоте.

4 этаж

Целый ряд аттракционов встретят вас в «Фараонской Фурии» (Pharaoh`s Fury). Спецэффекты, симуляция катания на джипах, американские горки и другие развлечения для всей семьи. Чтобы осмотреть весь мир Лотте Уорлд с высоты — проходите на воздушные шары (Balloon Ride). Помимо этого, есть два театра для детей.

Зона «Magic Island»

Остров развлечений понравится тем, кто хочет испытать адреналин. «Атлантида» (Atlantis) — большая американская горка на открытом воздухе. Два аттракциона «Гироскоп» для смельчаков: Gyro Swing — огромный кружащийся маятник и Gyro Spin — вращающаяся тарелка. Не менее экстремальный вариант — банджи. Падение на скорости 90 км/ч с 380 м.

Lotte World Tower

Name:
The official name of the tower is Lotte World Tower(In Korean: 롯데월드타워), Lotte World Tower is named after a nearby recreation complex, which is known as Lotte World, both the recreation complex and the tower are developed and owned by Lotte Group, one of the largest business conglomerates in South Korea.
Other names of the tower are Lotte Jamsil Super Tower, and Lotte World Premium Tower.

Location: Lotte World Tower is located in Shinchon-Dong, Songpa-Ku, Seoul, South Korea.
The tower is built in close proximity of the Lotte World Park and near the bank of Han River.

Height:
Lotte World Tower stands 555 meters tall, the tower doesn’t contain spire, but the uppermost part is composed of parapet, the highest occupied floor is 497 meters.
At 555 meters, Lotte World Tower is the tallest building in Korea Peninsula, a title was previously held by Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea before 2017.

The tower has 123 floors above ground and 6 floors below ground.

Uses: Office, Hotel, Retail, Observation
Like many other skyscrapers in the world, Lotte World Tower is a mixed use building, it contains a wide variety of spaces for different functions, including retail stores, offices, a luxury hotel, observation decks and an «officetel».
Offices occupy the 14th to 37th floor.
Officetels is the hybrid of offices and hotels, they are commonly found in Korea, offering accommodations for people who work in the building and feature services typically only found in hotels, such as furnishings, front deck services, and gym access. Officetels occupy the levels 42 to 71 of the tower.
The hotel in the tower is South Korea’s newest luxury landmark hotel, the hotel is operated by Signiel Seoul, it occupies the levels 76 to 101.

The podium of Lotte World Tower features a 10-story shopping mall, known as Lotte World Mall, it opened to public in 2014 when the tower was still under construction, the space of the mall is as large as the tower itself (the podium doesn’t count as the tower itself), and attracts 28 million people annually.
The top 10 floors of the tower are remained for observation decks and some other entertainment facilities, which includes a rooftop bar.

Design:
Lotte World Tower is designed by American architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, the firm also designed many other tallest skyscrapers in the world, including Shanghai World Financial Center, Shenzhen Ping An Finance Center, Guangzhou CTF Finance Center, Hong Kong International Commerce Center, and one of the most notable skyscrapers being built in New York City, the One Vanderbilt.
The vertical form of Lotte World Tower is designed to appear sleek and tapered, making the tower standing out from Seoul’s mountainous topography.

One of two vertical seams found on two side of the tower that rise from bottom to peak is designed to point towards the old center of Seoul.
The design of various interior program spaces of the tower is inspired by the traditional Korea arts, including Korean ceramics and calligraphy, and is integrated with modern aesthetics.
The exterior of the tower is comprised of light-toned silver glass, and accented by a filigree of white painted metal.
Lotte World Tower is designed being able to resist an earthquake of 9 on the Richter scale and winds up to 80 m/s.

Development:
In September 2010, Lotte Group applied for a permit to build a 123-story skyscraper near Han River, the project was approved by authorities in November.
The development was managed by Lotte Property & Development, a subsidiary of Lotte Group.
The construction for Lotte World Tower was contracted by Lotte Engineering & Construction, another subsidiary of Lotte Group themselves.

The construction began in March 2011.
The tower structurally topped out in December 2015 and a ceremony was held.
In March 2016, the tower was fully topped out after the construction on its parapet finished.
On April 2, 2017, Lotte World Tower is officially opened, fireworks was displayed on the tower to celebrate the opening.

Tourism and sightseeing:

Lotte World Tower has a public area on its uppermost floors, occupying a total of ten floors. The public area features observation decks and some other entertainment facilities.
The highest floor of the observatory is at 497 meters off the ground, it’s the 4th tallest observation deck in the world, only after the observation decks on Ping An Finance Center, Burj Khalifa, and Shanghai Tower.
The glass floor on this floor makes the observatory the world’s highest glass-bottomed observation deck.

The Lotte World Tower observatory was opened on April 3, 2017, the operator estimates the observatory will attract 50 million tourists every year.
Visitors will access the observation deck through the high speed elevators, ascending with a speed of 20 m/s, it is claimed to be the fastest elevators in the world that can whisk visitors from the hall at the bottom to the observation deck on the top floor within one minute.

KPF’s design melds a modern aesthetic with forms inspired by the historic Korean arts of ceramics, porcelain, and calligraphy. The tower’s uninterrupted curvature and gentle tapered form are reflective of Korean artistry. The seam that runs from top to bottom of the structure gestures toward the old center of the city.

The building design is LEED Gold certified, a measure of the client’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Sustainable design strategies incorporated into the design include photo-voltaic panels, wind turbines, external shading devices, and water harvesting systems.

Из истории открытий небоскребов. Открытие Lotte World Tower в Сеуле. Гуляли всем городом

Потребовалось 15 лет, чтобы получить разрешение на строительство небоскреба. Власти согласились лишь после того, как компания оплатила изменение угла военной взлетно-посадочной полосы, чтобы башня не стояла на пути истребителей, приближающихся к аэродрому.

Потом были 7 лет планирования и строительства небоскреба, на который потрачено 4 триллионов вон ($3,6 млрд). Плюс компания взяла на себя расходы пополнять близлежащее озеро речной водой, а то люди волновались, что воды из-за стройки стало меньше. Понятно, почему гуляли по полной)

Башня в два раза выше своего ближайшего сеульского соперника (выше на 250 метров Northeast Asia Trade Tower) и является самым высоким зданием в Южной Корее.

Башня Lotte построена пятым по величине конгломератом Южной Кореи. Основатель компании Син Кек-хо начинал как продавец жевательной резинки и накопил бизнес-империю, которая простирается через Японию и Южную Корею, где она наиболее известна своими отелями, торговыми центрами и парками развлечений.

Земельный участок – 12 футбольных полей. Общая площадь комплекса – 15 футбольных полей.

Никогда не думал, что мы поедем в Южную Корею с целью покорения высоток. Но недавние результаты мониторинга строительства небоскребов показали, что в Сеуле строится самое высокое на корейском полуострове здание Lotte World Tower, которое уже возведено в полную высоту (555 метров), и краны еще не убраны, так как ведутся кровельные работы.

Недолго думая мы купили билеты и отправились в одну из самых современных и развитых стран — Южную Корею. Положительных впечатлений от этой страны у нас масса, но данный пост не об этом. Нашей целью была башня, и по прибытии мы сразу стали готовиться к подъему в сотню этажей.

После публикации в Instagram фотографии с вершины нас стали спрашивать, как нам удалось пробраться внутрь, ведь у Lotte десяток периметров, боевые дроны, грозди камер на столбах и бдительные сотрудники со служебными собаками. About Lotte World Tower

Taking inspiration from traditional Korean art forms in the design of the various interior program spaces, the sleek tapered form of Lotte World Tower will stand out from Seoul’s rocky, mountainous topography. The tower is programmed with a greater variety of functions than is normally found in a tall building. It contains retail components, offices, a 7-star luxury hotel, and an officetel. Officetels, common in South Korean real estate, offer studio-apartment-style accommodations for people who work in the building and often feature certain services found in hotels, such as furnishings, a security desk, and gym access. The building’s top 10 stories are earmarked for extensive public use and entertainment facilities, including an observation deck and rooftop café.

The design of the tower melds a modern aesthetic with forms inspired by Korean ceramics, porcelain, and calligraphy. The seam that runs from top to bottom of the structure gestures toward the old center of the city. Elegance of form was one of the prime objectives, following the desire of stakeholders to bestow a beautiful monument to the capital city skyline. Exterior materials will be light-toned silver glass accented by a filigree of white lacquered metal.

Lotte World Tower has been designed and constructed at the same time as a 10-story base that accommodates as much area as its vertical counterpart. Vertical density is linked to horizontal density, and the range of complementary uses is increased. Connections between the two major building components are made via interior pathways at many levels, but also by active outdoor public space. In fact, one of the most effective measures taken to activate the tower and connect it to adjacent buildings is the outdoor plaza. This space forms an “outdoor room,” compressed enough in its dimensions to encourage visual and pedestrian penetration of its boundary walls.

The Lotte World Tower is a 555m-high (1,820ft) mixed-use building located in Seoul, South Korea.

The 123-storey building is the tallest in the country and the fifth tallest in the world, after Wuhan Greenland Center in China.

The project received the 2017 Fifth Tallest Building Worldwide from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, and 2016 Excellence in Structural Engineering awards from the Structural Engineering Association of New York and the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations.

Lotte World Tower was also awarded The Best Tall Building Award – Award of Excellence in 2019 (CTBUH 2019).

Lotte World Tower design and facilities

KPF drew inspiration for the building’s design from the traditional Korean art forms of ceramics, porcelain and calligraphy. The tower’s form is gently tapered and features an uninterrupted curvature, which is highlighted by silver insulated glass and filigrees of white lacquered metal, resembling Korean artistry.

The tower has a built-up area of 505,300m² (5,439,000ft²), including retail and office area, 256 residences, and a 260-room seven-star luxury hotel. It features the world’s fastest and longest elevator, which can carry 54 people from the basement to the 121st floor in less than a minute. The double-deck elevator is 496m-high and powered by a 100t traction machine. The tower also features the world’s highest glass-bottomed observation deck on the 121st floor.

The first ten storeys of the tower accommodate the Lotte World Mall, which was opened in 2014. The mall includes the Lotte Concert Hall with a seating capacity of 2,000. The Lotte World Tower also includes a kid’s park, cultural centre, jazz bar and an aquarium.

Structure of the world’s fifth tallest tower

The tower’s structural system is made of a gravity-resistant system and a lateral force resistance system. The gravity-resistant system comprises the core walls, mega columns and deck slab structure with steel beams.

The core walls are located in the centre of the tower running up to the 123rd floor, while eight mega columns are located around the perimeter of the tower. The core walls handle 60% of the tower load, while the remaining 40% load is handled by the mega columns.

The lateral force resistance system comprises outriggers and belt trusses built on floors 39 to 44, 72 to 76, and 104 to 107.

The tower is built on a mega-mat foundation, a super structure with a length of 71.7m, 6.5m thickness and a volume of 31,203m³. The foundation handles the 750,000t of vertical load of the tower.

The foundation was cast in a single 30-hour concrete placement using 5,300 trucks pouring ready-mix concrete. The project employed state-of-the-technology to make high-strength and ultra-low heat concrete with a strength of 50MPa-80MPa, which was used for pouring the foundation, as well as the mega columns, core walls and flats slabs.

Lotte World Tower sustainable features

The Lotte World Tower incorporates sustainable features of the LEED Gold standard. The tower features a displacement air and a radiant floor cooling/heating system instead of the traditional air-conditioning for the atrium lobby. The outside air units are equipped with energy recovery wheels to collect exhaust air.

A range of renewable sources, including geothermal, photovoltaics and windspire turbines have been installed to support the power needs of the facility. Variable-frequency drives have been installed to ensure that the HVAC equipment is operated more efficiently. A SCADA system has also been installed to monitor and control power usage in the building.

Water-saving features such as low-flow fixtures and greywater reuse facilities have been incorporated to achieve savings of 30%.

Contractors involved

Lotte Group’s subsidiary, Lotte Engineering & Construction, was responsible for the construction of the Lotte World Tower.

Baum Architects served as the associate architects for the project, while Leslie E. Robertson Associates served as the structural engineering consultants.

Syska was responsible for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design for the tower.

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff conducted a peer review of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installations of the tower. The company also provided LEED consultancy and facilitation services.

Doka supplied self-climbing and wall formwork, while Heatex supplied its ventilation products for the tower.

123 floors. 555 meters. These are the main characteristics of the Lotte World Tower. It opens to the public today on April 3rd after nearly three decades of development. The Lotte World Tower is the fifth tallest building in the world and the highest building in the OECD. The project is fulfilling the dream of Lotte’s founder Shin Kyuk-Ho. This article is going to explain the magnitude of the project, it’s features and issues.

Megaproject ‘The Second Lotte World’

Describing the Second Lotte World (제2롯데월드) project, that consists of multiple buildings and various facilities as a large-scale project is an understatement. It’s a megaproject with unprecedented dimensions for Korea. The idea for the project was developed in 1989. Construction begun in 2009 and the skyscraper was completed on 22 December 2016. The total cost for the 123 floor-high building is expected to be around 3.8 trillion KRW (3.4 billion USD). The building is constructed by Lotte Engineering & Construction. The whole project surrounding the Second Lotte World includes a shopping mall, cinema, aquarium, concert hall, department store, duty free shop and many more facilities. It’s especially crazy in my opinion if you consider that right across the street Lotte has been already operating a department store, hotel and the world’s biggest indoor adventure park. The new buildings provide a completely new experience.

Too large?

It can be argued that such a megaproject doesn’t really fit in a city. Analyzing it from the transport perspective, the already existing department store and adventure park caused huge traffic jams on the weekend and it got only worse with the opening of the World Mall. The Lotte World Mall received approval only after the development of a traffic demand management plan. The tower as a place with many offices is going to add more traffic on weekdays.

Then there’s the issue of a worsening walking environment: A large building doesn’t provide the best walking experience. Of course, if the building is open, then it’s nice to pass through the building and do some window shopping. But if the building is closed, then it becomes a major obstacle and a black hole for place quality.

Observatory Sky Seoul

The Lotte World Tower is the highest building in Korea and it’s definitely a remarkable landmark. Besides the various shopping options, the top of the tower has the so-called Sky Seoul which is an observatory and an art gallery.

Перед выпуском нашего с Виталием проекта «Руферы» для Телеканала «Че», который показывают 4 раза в неделю с понедельника по четверг в 23:00, мы ездили в Южную Корею.

Никогда не думал, что мы поедем туда с целью покорения высоток. Но недавние результаты мониторинга строительства небоскрёбов показали, что в Сеуле строится самое высокое на корейском полуострове здание Lotte World Tower, которое уже возведено в полную высоту 555 метров, и краны ещё не убраны, так как ведутся кровельные работы.

После публикации в инстаграме фотографии с вершины, нас стали спрашивать, как нам удалось пробраться внутрь, ведь у Lotte десяток периметров, боевые дроны, грозди камер на столбах и бдительные сотрудники со служебными собаками. Почти всё так и есть, по-началу мы даже думали, что у нас ничего не получится, но в любой системе, даже в идеальной, есть бреши. О том, как у нас это получилось, смотрите в нашем новом ролике.

Lotte Group завершила строительство Lotte World Tower — одного из пяти самых высоких зданий в мире и самого высокого в Корее, сообщает PRIMPRESS. Небоскреб строили пять лет, а на согласование проекта ушло около 20 лет. Вход в страну детских грёз

Если бы я был ребенком, я бы наверное от впечатления и восторга потерял сознание))). Повсюду слышны радостные крики и возгласы, детский смех и музыка. Атмосферой праздника пронизано все вокруг.

И «понеслась детская душа в рай»).

У входа на карусель и не только, дежурят вот такие молодые люди с мерной палкой в руках. Если ребенок ростом не дотягивает до оранжевой мерки получает красный браслет, если дотягивает — оранжевый, а значит может сесть на лошадь самостоятельно. Мы получили красный эх)).

Повсюду какие входы и выходы в которых открывается совсем другой мир.

Здесь можно пройти на другие аттракционы, американские горки, поднявшись наверх можно прокатиться на воздушном шаре, и подняться на этаж где находится фудкорт.

Лотте Ворлд в вечернее время

В один из зимних дней мы приехали в Сеул вечером и не смогли отказаться от соблазна посетить Lotte World в вечернее время.

Все выглядит совершенно иначе, как то таинственно и совсем не по-детски.

Аттракцион «Синбад» в котором на корабле искатели приключений отправляются по водным пещерам парка, вечером выглядит жутковато. Особо впечателительным наверное стоит воздержаться от поездки по катакомбам этого аттракциона.

Если Вы приезжаете в Сеуле с детьми, очень рекомендую развлекательный центр Лотте Ворлд для посещения. Это волшебное место в самом центре Сеула, где исполняются детские мечты. Lotte World не оставит Вас равнодушным, а детей тем более.

Читатели часто спрашивают сколько времени займет посещение всего парка… Я не могу ответить на этот вопрос однозначно. Тут все индивидуально, зависит от очередей и Ваших пожеланий. Мы были там три раза. Ребенок хочет еще)).

Строительство небоскреба продолжалось 7 лет и официально завершено. Lotte World Tower отодвинул 452-метровые башни-близнецы Петронас в Куала-Лумпуре из списка топ-10 самых высоких зданий. И занял пятое место в мире по высоте. 555-метровый небоскреб – самое высокое здание в стране, выше на 250 метров предыдущего Northeast Asia Trade Tower.

Lotte World Tower | KPF

Lotte World Tower is one of the current projects of the noted international architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF). The firm has won an international competition and has designed this 555-meter high tower for Jasmil in Seoul City, South Korea, in 2009. The competition was held by the owner and developer of this project, Lotte Group, which is one of South-Korea largest corporation. It was supposed to be completed in 2014 but it has faced a series of delays due to numerous reasons, and it is going to be finally finished in 2016. Once completed it will proudly stand as one of the world’s tallest buildings, rising 10 meters above the 546-meter tall One World Trade Center in New York City.

The concept of this design meets the modern beauty where glass and structure are fused across the tower. When I first saw a digital rendered image of this tower in 2014 I thought they took The Shard from London to Seoul. As funny as it sounds it really resembles it from top to bottom. They are both being altered in width as the grow higher and they have open ends at the top reaching the skies. I believe that the Lotte Tower was the first to be designed of the two, so what happened with your design Renzo & Piano? How was your visit to Seoul?

The planning of this gently curved supertall skyscraper and its site’s preparation lasted 13 years until gaining final construction approval by the South Korena government in November 2010. The exterior skin of the tower is made out of pale-coloured glass panels inspired from traditional Koren ceramics, features of fine metalwork, porcelain, and calligraphy. Once completed the tower is going to be comprised by retail outlets that are forming a shopping mall on floors 1-6, offices spaces up until floor 60, luxury hotel from floors 86-119 and public access floors with observation desk reaching up until the last floor, 123. As of January 2015, the construction of the first 94 floors has been completed. This concrete-supported megastructure is aiming to receive a LEED Gold Certificate at the end of its completion, through its installation and implementation of various sustainable and environmentally-friendly features and elements including wind turbines, water harvesting systems and more.

Sinkholes in the have been found in the area around the tower and this has caused the water level of the lake to decrease. This has raised a number of concerns and complaints by developers and residents of the city, but it seems like this does not halt the construction of the tower. The partially-completed structure has gained approval to open its first commercial floors to the public, giving the access to the shopping mall, aquarium and movie theater spaces. It has been forced to close down due to severe safety concerns. These concerns include a crack on one of the aquarium’s fish tanks, people experienced tremor and background noise while watching a film, and lastly people have been struck by a glass door that fell on top of them. It is almost 20 years now since this tower was firstly put on paper, and its construction phase has caused the death of several construction workers. People are not sure if they can trust the building and walk freely within its spaces. Things are not looking good for the Lotte Tower but despite this, it has recently got an approval to reopen again its partially completed towers to the public.

The economic hunger, in this case, is simply outrageous. Building a luxury supertall skyscraper is not enough apparently for Lotte Group and they just want to make maximum profit. This is absolutely understandable in the era we are currently living, but not when people’s safety, or even their lives are on the line. We came to the point where we open the doors of our buildings without them being completed yet. This shows exactly how the greedy developers and property owners think around big projects like this one. Money is indeed the driving factor and as sad as it sounds people are left on the side. The good thing about this is that these kinds of structures can never work without the economic movement of people, those left on the side. So what we end up doing is feeding the people that destroy our cities. This makes us as guilty as them. As attractive these structures are while looking from a long distance, we have to all wake-up, speak up.

1. It’s located just east of the heart of Seoul

The Lotte World Tower is a huge skyscraper located in Sincheon-dong, one of the neighborhoods in the Songpa District of Seoul. This district is located in the southeastern part of the city and not too far from the city center.

It’s not unsurprising that the tallest building in the city was constructed here because this is also the district with the highest population in Seul. Nearly 650,000 people live in this area which is just 33.89 square kilometers (13.09 square miles).

With a population density of over 19,000 per square kilometer (49,000 per square mile), this is also one of the most crowded areas in the city. Luckily, everything is well-organized so it never feels suffocating which is quite remarkable.

2. It’s the tallest building in South Korea and the 5th-tallest in the world

The immensely densely populated Songpa District remarkably doesn’t feature that many tall skyscrapers. At least, that’s how it appears to be when you look at the area from a distance.

This is mainly because the Lotte World Tower features 123 floors and stands 555.7 meters (1,823 feet), towering majestically above the large number of buildings that surround it.

This height makes it the tallest building in South Korea and at the moment of writing this article (November 2021), it’s still the 5th-tallest structure in the world.

Upon completion in 2017, it was the 4th-tallest in the world but was quickly surpassed by the Ping An International Finance Centre in Shenzhen, China.

3. It was designed by a renowned American architectural firm

The tower was designed by one of the biggest architectural firms in the world named Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. This firm is headquartered in New York City and has been involved in multiple fascinating projects.

Some of these are the Shanghai World Financial Center in China, 30 Hudson Yards in New York, and the Heron Tower, one of the most remarkable skyscrapers in London.

The building was commissioned by the Lotte Corporation, a conglomerate of over 60 companies in South Korea that employ a combined number of over 60,000 employees.

The tower is used for a wide variety of purposes and features the Lotte Hotel on floors 76 to 101 and residences from floors 42 to 71. The majority of other floors are used as office space.

One of the most remarkable facts about the Lotte World Tower is that its construction was already planned in the late 20th century. It took eventually 13 before officials gave the green light to build the tower.

Following an extensive planning phase and preparatory works, construction eventually began in November 2010. The tower topped out on March 17, 2006, when the enormous roof that covers floors 107-123 was completed.

It took another year for the building to be finished and it opened to the public on April 3, 2017.

5. The view from the tower’s observation deck is breathtaking

The main attraction inside the tower is the observation deck referred to as “Seoul Sky.” It’s located right on top of the tower and features multiple entertainment facilities taking up floors 117 to 123.

It’s easy to understand why the observation platform provides some of the most astounding views of the city imaginable, views equally remarkable as the amazing tower known as N Seoul Tower or “Namsan Tower.”

6. The tower’s height of 555.7 meters (1,823 feet) means that the Lotte World Tower is slightly taller than the tallest building in the United States, One World Trade Center which stands 541.3 meters (1,776 feet) tall.

This also makes it the tallest building in the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), an economic organization with 3 country members (including most in Europe and the US).

7. The structural engineer of the building was equally renowned as the architectural firm involved in the design as it was in the hands of Leslie E. Robertson Associates.

Leslie E. Robertson (1928-2021) is world-famous for being the structural engineer of the original Twin Towers of the WTC in New York City.

8. The roof of the tower is something very special. It not only covers floors 107 to 123 but was designed with steel elements that are each 12 meters (39 feet) long and weigh about 20 tonnes (20,000 kilos) each.

Needless to say that it wasn’t an easy job to assemble this enormous structure at a height of over 500 meters (1,640 feet) above the ground below. GPS alignment systems were used as well as a 64 tonnes crane.

9. The roof was built in such a way that it can carry its weight without the need for reinforcing concrete pillars. Steel elements that weigh a combined 3,000 tonnes were assembled to achieve this remarkable feat of engineering.

The result is amazing because the roof of the tower can not only sustain earthquakes with a magnitude of 9 on the Richter Scale but also winds with speeds of up to 288 kilometers per hour (178 miles per hour).

10. Apart from being used to shoot off fireworks during New Year celebrations, the tower is also equipped with thousands of Led Lights. This allows the building to produce a remarkable light show.

The combination of the amazingly illuminated building with the fact that it towers high above all the other buildings in the city makes this one of the most fascinating landmarks in any city in the world.
