The next day, Yasuho and Tsurugi analyze the video feed of Aisho’s death, realizing the strange nature of the people they are going after and determined to investigate the stadium. They meet Josuke and since Yasuho and Josuke are too happy to see each other to continue the investigation, it is paused for the time being.
Josuke and Yasuho stroll on the beach, sharing a tender moment, however Josuke is signaled by another girl, calling for a meeting later. Josuke follows her, intrigued since the woman acts as if she knows him, calling him «Secchan». His suspicions are confirmed when she mentions Yoshikage Kira, but finding something unfamiliar, she flees. Using Soft & Wet to learn her name, Karera Sakunami, Josuke calms her worries about him, and opts to fake knowing her until the moment she tells him his real name.
As Josuke follows Karera, he is dismayed at Karera’s flighty behavior, going to random places and conning people with her Stand ability. She eventually shows Josuke a photo of her, Kira, and a third man, and reveals his name: Josefumi Kujo. Josuke catches a glimpse of her Stand Love Love Deluxe and continues to follow her. Meanwhile a pair of twins playing football, the A. Phex Brothers, track Karera.
Karera then goes to Kira’s apartment, but upon being announced Kira’s death, freaks out, asking for the circumstances of his death, Josuke mentions the heart attack, but doesn’t mention he was present at the crime scene. Karera reveals that she saw Kira hide a Locacaca tree in his apartment, Josuke being clueless of what she’s talking about but suspecting a link with the mysterious fruit.
Karera is suddenly held by one of the A. Phex Brothers, who uses his Stand Schott Key No.1 to douse Karera with gas, which he ignites. Josuke saves Karera, who flees, and the Brothers opt to kill Josuke first.
Two double pages disclose many details about the Rock Humans, their physiology, their habits, and their manners.
A fight ensues between Josuke and the A. Phex Brothers. Josuke manages to block Schott Key No.2’s poison gas, when the elder brother grapples him and shifts some poison gas from his left hand to his right hand, Josuke plunders the poison gas and takes him hostage with the bubbles around his head. When the elder, soaked with gas, is ignited by Karera, his brother runs toward him, forgetting the bubbles which pop and envelop him in poison gas. Both Rock men are consequently killed. Karera, finally understanding that Kira and Josuke performed an equivalent exchange, goes away before Josuke can ask her anything else.

You know I love Araki, and Stands are where the series really picked up in speed (despite some major growing pains). But not all are created equal.
We’ve done the best Stands, the best characters, and the best parts… but that’s too much good stuff. Let’s flip it around and play devil’s advocate here.
Below we’ll tear into some of the worst or most inconvenient Stands in JoJo.
10. Khnum
Khnum is the Stand of Oingo in Stardust Crusaders, and has dreadful statistics – an ‘A’ in persistence, and ‘E’ in everything else.
He can change his appearance, height, weight, scent, and voice, but not clothing or personality.
Despite being featured in some of the funniest episodes of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, its full potential is never fulfilled. Because Oingo is a bit of an idiot and thought it would be a good idea to use Khnum against a group of people, as opposed to a single person.
So Khnum being effective relies utmost on knowing the person Oingo intends to replicate (and that doesn’t go too well in Stardust Crusaders).
9. Love Deluxe
Love Deluxe is the Stand of Yukako Yamagishi in Diamond is Unbreakable, and is bound entirely to her hair.
With a range of approximately 10-metres, Yukako can manipulate, grow, shoot, or deflect with her hair, making it an offensive and defensive stand with a huge number of flaws.
It can be seen by non-Stand users, burned or set on fire, and turns white when she’s afflicted by damage.
That said, it can be detrimental in a close-quarters scenario. But isn’t particularly effective against most Stand users.
8. Tenore Sax
Tenore Sax is the Stand of Kenny G. in Stardust Crusaders.
I bet you forgot it existed, because I definitely did.
Kenny G. lasts a few panels in the manga, and a few minutes in the anime. For all we know, it could have amazing potential – but obviously not good enough due to how quickly it was dispatched.
It can distort the internals of a building into a labyrinth, and Kenny G. uses it on DIO’s mansion to keep him even safer with illusions.
Unfortunately, it’s more of defensive stand with some offensive capacity. But it cannot manipulate scents, and therefore is ineffective against those with stronger noses.
7. Achtung Baby
Achtung Baby is the Stand of Shizuka Joestar in Diamond is Unbreakable, the little baby found and adopted by Joseph Joestar midway through the part.
She can turn invisible, and that’s about all we know about Achtung Baby.
There’s a chance it evolves into something even better later on, as it has an ‘A’ in Developmental Potential, and she’s very young.
Its biggest plus is the ability to make things around her invisible, too.
While it’s tied to her emotional state, that could be because she’s a baby – honestly, Achtung Baby has a lot of potential just not at this state.
6. Bastet
Bastet is the Stand of Mariah in Stardust Crusaders.
It looks like a moving power outlet and only has one ability that – while inconvenient – isn’t massively effective, and is dispatched relatively quickly.
That said, its appearance is hilarious.
When you touch Bastet, you become a strong magnet that gradually increases in force.
This means that at the beginning forks and spoons will fly at you. But eventually even a car will be drawn to you. It can be uses against more than one person, which is amazing.
But unfortunately Bastet can be used against Mariah. And that’s how they end up finishing her off.
5. Hermit Purple
Hermit Purple is the Stand of Joseph Joestar, but is also seen used by DIO (with Jonathan Joestar’s body).
Considering it’s the Stand of the two previous Joestar’s, it’s ridiculously weak.
Alongside acting like ropes to swing from, Hermit Purple can mainly act like a divination technique to track or follow a target through technology and object exchange.
Joseph can also use his Hermit Purple as a way to transmit his Ripple Hamon like a conductive cord. It’s got some versatility, but compared to Stands shown even in Stardust Crusaders, it’s incredibly underpowered (especially in terms of offensive or defensive abilities).
4. Tower of Gray
Tower of Gray is the Stand of Gray Fly in Stardust Crusaders, and is the first Stand our Stardust Crusader’s encounter en route to DIO. It’s pretty rubbish; I’m not going to lie.
Araki still hadn’t worked out the complexities of Stand combat displayed in later parts, so we’re left with a fly that can move extremely fast and possesses an unhinging jaw a’la Xenomorphs by which to attack.
The design is fairly cool, given it’s essentially a more imaginative and larger fly. And it can apparently move faster than even Star Platinum.
However, it’s short lived, ridiculously underwhelming, and a bad indication of the creativity that Stands possess later down the line.
3. Highway to Hell
Highway to Hell is the Stand of Thunder McQueen in Stone Ocean, and would be the most useless Stand in the whole series were it not for some others we’ll get to shortly.
This is because Highway to Hell requires the user to kill them to be critically effective, making it a kamikaze attack.
Technically, it acts as a damage sharing apparatus, meaning and pain afflicted to Thunder will be reflected back upon the target.
This, paired with Thunder’s life-ending predisposition, makes it a one-hit KO that the user can’t come back from.
That said, you could still render yourself unconscious and make the other person also unconscious. So if you’re in a group it could be helpful.
2. Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick is a Stand in Diamond is Unbreakable, and is peculiar in that we don’t know its original user (only a few who obtain it, including Rohan Kishibe).
It latches onto a person’s back and acts like a curse. You do not want Cheap Trick; you want to get rid of it.
It’s very talkative, and aims to psychologically destroy whoever it has attached to. Then it aims to catch another person’s attention so they might look at the back of its host. They then kill the host and take over the new person.
It’s a killer nuisance with very little positives to it!
1. Holy’s Stand
Holy’s Stand doesn’t technically have a name, and was one of the first Stands ever introduced before the mechanics had been refined and pinned down.
It acts as a vitality sink due to her weakened mental state, and threatens to end her life.
This is what causes the Stardust Crusaders to travel to fight DIO in the first place, as his resurrection is what awoke her Stand.
It resembled Hermit Purple somewhat, with motifs of flora and roses growing out of her back. But is somehow even more useless.
This Stand literally kills its user and can’t touch or be touched by other Stands, making it ineffective in combat, too.
Kafka Champin
Kafka was playing games in utero, and writing lists even longer. He has published numerous books and video essays, and is currently a student at university.

Soft & Wet. When my soap bubble touches something and breaks, I take something from there. Josuke Higashikata, JJL Chapter 4
Contents
Soft & Wet is a humanoid Stand of a streamlined, robotic form, light in color, and similar in height to Josuke.
On the top of its head is a five-pointed star bound with a circle. Horns roughly two-thirds the width of its head grow from the region of the ears, shaped as tapering pentagrammic prisms. It has round eyes, shaped as slotted screw heads; vertically dividing very small, slight, round pupils. Its face has a thick gap running from the top of the forehead past the bottom of the chin. Initially, Soft & Wet had large holes in the sides of its face, and shorter, lined «horns».
The front of two broad plates covering its torso is cut like its face in the shape of a large anchor; as well as in a line beneath both arms and between the base of its back and shoulders.
Its feet and hands are covered with plating, as are the sides of its hips and shoulders, both of which are shaped like sharp hearts and bear a five-pointed star. It has fine arms and legs, with dark, exposed ball-and-socket joints supported by short exterior cables. Its pelvis is bare and mechanical. The gaps in its plating reveal a deeper surface, covered in a fine pattern of horizontal ridges. An internal structure is visible at its profile, showing blocks approximating human centers of mass.
The design was created to match up with Josuke’s outfit, rather than its ability. Hirohiko Araki imagined a sailor’s uniform combined with the flotation devices in a life vest. [1] In later chapters, its torso takes on a more ‘heart-like’ shape. It also gains a circular jewel under its neck, and its shoulder pads become triangular, jutting out of its shoulders perpendicularly. Its ears have also grown a bit longer since it first appeared. [1]
Soft & Wet is white and purple in the colored manga, but, is yellow and green in the video games adaptation of the series featuring it.
Josefumi’s bubbles were initially featureless. After his fusion with Kira, Josuke’s bubbles now bear a five-pointed star, similar to Kira’s bubbles, and appear to be a sort of fusion between two bubbles of different sizes.
Soft & Wet’s Stand cry is «ORA ORA ORA ORA» similar to other members of the Joestar family, however every so often an «ORA» is switched to an «ARA». This could be the consequences of the fusion of Kira and Josefumi, being corrupted and altered.
Soft & Wet is a humanoid close-range Stand. It possesses enhanced strength, demonstrated first when it breaks a large portion of an apartment wall with a single back kick, and is also capable of extremely rapid hand-to-hand combat. The extent of the damage it can inflict is limited, however, as it is unable to break rocks.
Its strength in melee exchanges compared to other Stands has been further demonstrated in the brief encounter with Yotsuyu Yagiyama’s Stand, I Am a Rock. Despite its volley of fast-paced strikes, Soft & Wet easily avoided and overcame it with a single ‘Ora’-articulated strike. [2]
Bubble Generation
Soft & Wet generates star-embedded floating bubbles, which must make contact with its target to work effectively. However, Josuke can control where the bubbles can fly, allowing him to send them where they are needed. The bubbles are actually comprised of tiny cords vibrating at super-high speeds, giving them the appearance of spheres. [3]
After undergoing equivalent exchange with Yoshikage Kira, bubbles produced by Soft & Wet gained aspects of his own bubble-generating Stand ability. As such, Soft & Wet’s bubbles are divided into a distinct «Josefumi half» and «Kira half», with a visible seam connecting the two portions.
Along with its regular stand-based bubble generation ability, Soft & Wet is able to make bubbles out of existing liquids. However, these bubbles can only be maintained briefly and lack the abilities of ones generated by the Stand itself.
As the story has progressed, Josuke has developed this ability. Early in the story, he would often use one bubble, but later on, is shown conjuring dozens upon dozens with a quick flurry of strikes.
Plunder Bubble
Soft & Wet’s signature ability is to «steal something from [an object] and take it for itself», which works in conjunction with the bubbles. Josuke can thus steal aspects or properties of inanimate and living things. Said properties seem to also be smaller objects that come from a bigger object. Examples include:
The stolen objects can stay in the bubble and are still able to bust later (as shown with the bubble with the sound of the light switch). [8] The exact quantity and type of object Josuke may steal, how long he may keep them, and how it is redistributed is currently undefined. According to Josuke, Soft & Wet’s ability cannot be applied to himself. [11]
While used by Josefumi Kujo, this ability was described as «Absorption«. As Soft & Wet’s original user, Josefumi had mastered his ability to the point that he could control it at an extremely precise level. This degree of precision with his Stand allowed for the creation of the grafted Locacaca branch; by absorbing and re-arranging matter from two plants with expert precision, Josefumi was able to fuse them together.
First Bomb Bubble
As previously stated, after undergoing equivalent exchange with Yoshikage Kira, Soft & Wet’s bubbles become a hybrid of it’s own bubbles and those of Killer Queen. These fused bubbles retain some aspects of Killer Queen’s bubble-generation ability. These bubbles are able to pop with enough force to cause damage at close range, as seen when Josuke uses one to shatter Tamaki Damo’s sunglasses. Josuke can also use this force to propel any small objects stored inside of his bubbles, seemingly with a degree of control over the direction they fly in. In addition to this, Josuke is able to injure opponents by popping bubbles which have been embedded under their skin, an ability that one of the A. Phex Brothers remarked bears a striking resemblance to the late Kira’s own fighting style.
During the fight against Urban Guerrilla and his pet Josuke utilized the full extent of the First Bomb by detonating bubbles he had previously buried underground.
Soft & Wet: Go Beyond
In reality, Josuke’s bubble and its properties are that it is actually just a line that spins rapidly, creating the illusion of a bubble. This line is so infinitesimally thin to the point that it literally doesn’t exist (Rai describes this as being infinitely close to the point of zero). He was shown generating these bubbles from his star birthmark on his left shoulder. At first, he was unable to control them, but later on being able to generate them at will and also gaining full control. The bubbles themselves are also stated to contain a trace of the spin, although the relation between Josuke’s spin and the spin in Part 7 is still unknown.
Josuke is also able to deactivate this Explosive Spin. With its deactivation, it allows it to phase through anything without damaging it, such as phasing through Norisuke’s body, then killing the Wonder of U. Another example of this is that the bubble is also able to travel with Paisley Park within its domain.
Even with Wonder of U and its calamity, the only thing that is able to defeat it is Josuke’s Go Beyond because of its theoretical non-existence. (Therefore not triggering Wonder of U’s ability.)
In terms of damage, other than its absolute power to cross anything, it can also be used to greatly damage opponents. It is able to blow off any part of the body as it first crosses through the person, then detonating within them, damaging their insides. This is able to launch Tooru flying in the air, and smashing into the window of a car.

Yukako is a teenage girl of fine build, 167 [1] cm (5 ft 6 in) tall. She is characterized as especially beautiful (noted by Aya Tsuji [2] ), with fine facial features and bodily proportions. She has full, dark and wavy waist-length hair, a mole above her right breast, and dark eyes. She also has pale skin and prominent, arched eyebrows.
Yukako is often seen wearing a dark sailor fuku with a rose imprinted on its sleeves along with a pair of leather shoes and socks.
In the Yukako Yamagishi Dreams of Cinderella arc, she displays a mature taste in casual clothing. She wears a light wide hat with spots on it, a crop top with a collarless jacket, and a skirt.
In the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan one-shot and OVA, Yukako has bangs that cover a portion of her forehead.

Yukako is introduced in the midst of a date with Koichi Hirose, [3] initially acting demure and sweet around him. This visage quickly dissipates when she reveals her bad temper and obsession with him, which occupies the majority of her initial role in Diamond is Unbreakable.
Yukako’s most recognizable character trait is her obsessive love for Koichi, which she explains as appreciation for men with potential rather than perfect people, whom she considers boring, and admits outright to becoming obsessive about anything she likes. Her love takes an overtly psychopathic turn when she decides to kidnap him and attempt to brainwash him into reciprocating her feelings, as well as forcefully training him into fitting an idealized picture of himself. Upon Koichi’s revolt, she goes completely berserk and is willing to hurt, or even kill him in order to keep him for herself. Once she is defeated, and then immediately saved by Koichi in spite of what she put him through, Yukako sees the error of her ways, becoming genuinely infatuated by his heroism, and as such begins to fully respect his privacy and feelings. After beginning a true relationship with Koichi, she appears much more mellow and relaxed.
Aloof and «insanely tough» (as described by Koichi), Yukako is often cold toward people and maintains a steely, unwelcoming expression, except for in the presence of Koichi, with whom she acts sweetly and warmly in an excessive fashion. She is irritable, blunt and prone to lashing out, particularly when something gets in her way. When angered, her left eye also twitches. Yukako frequently and violently uses her Stand, Love Deluxe, against anyone she feels would hurt her chances of captivating Koichi, resorting to lethal force in the worst case.
She has also been described as the type of person who lives in her own world and tends not to listen to others, expecting things to go her way and for people to follow what she says. Even when something goes wrong, she tends to blame it on others and refuses to find fault with herself. Despite the insecure comments in her introduction, she has immense pride in her appearance and hair, even threatening to murder Koichi once he damaged her hair during their fight, and again threatening Aya after her Cinderella caused her face to fall apart.
She seems to have talent in cooking and sewing, and to some extent engineering as she built an electric chair from household appliances.

Yukako’s Stand is Love Deluxe, lending versatile, prehensile life to her long hair; enabling her to spontaneously extend it, grasp heavy objects securely, and strike, smother or infect human targets.
History
Background
In February 1999, Yukako was shot with the Arrow by Keicho Nijimura, awakening in her a Stand ability. She lost consciousness and woke up completely healed. Confused, Yukako thought that the incident was a mere dream. During the new year, she enters Budogaoka High School, in the same class as Okuyasu Nijimura incidentally.
She sees Koichi Hirose’s development off-screen and falls in love with him for this.

Yukako gathers the will to invite Koichi to a cafe, where she confesses her love to him. Acting demure at first, Yukako is enraged when Koichi dithers in his response and reveals a glimpse of her true self by shouting at him. She regains her senses and leaves in shame, still hoping that Koichi will see her again. In her anger, she leaves some of her hair in Koichi’s drink. Unbeknownst to her, Josuke and Okuyasu have been watching the date and realize that she may be a Stand User who is up to no good.
The next day, Yukako approaches Koichi again during the midday break. Koichi is on cleaning duty and Yukako interrupts him, seeking forgiveness for how she acted yesterday. Koichi is relieved to see that Yukako is reasonable and accepts to still be friends with her. However, Koichi’s acceptance goes to Yukako’s head as she reveals the pullover she lovingly knitted last night for Koichi, as well as the bento she put together this morning and a good luck charm, showing that she’s still obsessed with Koichi. Yukako tries to feed Koichi, now afraid of Yukako. When the class representative comes in and tells Koichi to finish throwing up the garbage, Koichi happily obliges to dodge Yukako. Believing that the class representative is trying to seduce Koichi, Yukako confronts her near the school’s incinerator. Threatening the representative, she plants some of her hair on the representative before she leaves. The hair is linked to the incinerator, leading flames into the representative’s hair, but also blind her and tie her tongue to isolate her as her head burns. Luckily, Okuyasu saves the representative by scraping her hair.
After Koichi, Josuke and Okuyasu meet to concoct a plan to drive off Yukako, Josuke and Okuyasu deliberately badmouth Koichi in front of her, hoping that she will lose interest in him. However, Yukako kidnaps Koichi the same evening, determined to turn Koichi into her ideal partner. Yukako brings Koichi to an isolated mansion on the coast where she intends to keep him prisoner, educate and torture him until he’s completely dependent on her. She first serves breakfast but turns it into an English lesson by hiding the dishes behind boxes, allowing Koichi to eat if he answers right but threatening to force feed him things such as erasers or asparagus wrapped in dictionary paper. She catches Koichi trying to cheat and in anger decides to make him eat the items for the wrong answers. When Koichi tries to run away, she reveals that she’s planted some of her hair on his hair, lifting him toward the ceiling. She decides to leave Koichi alone for the time being.
Yukako returns to Koichi having soiled himself because she locked the toilets with a combination lock. Ashamed, Koichi begs Yukako to let him go but she reveals that she loves Koichi because of his great potential and is determined to make him develop into a better man, although she also reveals that she’s working on an electrical chair for dinner. Yukako leaves as she must order olive oil for dinner, allowing Koichi to use Echoes ACT1. Koichi sends Echoes to a nearby payphone to hide. Although Yukako keeps a close watch on Koichi, she is taken by surprise when Echoes plants sounds on her to makes a call to Josuke, allowing Josuke and Okuyasu to guess the general location of Yukako’s hideout.
Yukako realises that Koichi is also a Stand User. Thinking that their similar ability must mean they are meant for each other, Yukako approaches the house to capture Koichi again and change hideout but Koichi barricades the front door. Koichi’s resistance frustrates her greatly but she shows that she can shrug off Echoes ACT1’s power. However, Echoes evolve into Echoes ACT2 and creates a strong wind that pushes Yukako away from the house. Genuinely angered, Yukako uses her full power to capture Koichi and threatens to kill him if he doesn’t accept her. However, Koichi puts a sound on himself, causing a great explosion sending Yukako flying.
Yukako lands near the cliff leading to the ocean, her hair damaged and bleached white by the explosion. She wakes up and ties Echoes whom Koichi sends to check on her, cutting off Echoes’ tail. Furious, Yukako tries to kill Echoes and doesn’t listen to Koichi’s warnings. The cliff crumbles, and Yukako falls towards the rocks down the cliff. However, she’s saved when she bounces up to solid ground again. Koichi reveals that he’s been planning to save her all this time and leaves. Yukako realises Koichi’s valor and her love for him is renewed, although she decides to admire him from afar for now.

Later in the story, Yukako is warned about Yoshikage Kira after Shigekiyo Yangu’s death and advises everyone to be careful.
Yukako Yamagishi Dreams of Cinderella
Yukako feels depressed, she still loves Koichi and won’t harass him, but she has no idea how to approach him. Josuke and Joseph pass by and notice her. While Josuke has no sympathy for her and warns her not to approach attack Koichi, Joseph does sympathizes and mentions a nearby beauty salon that may help her. Curious, Yukako discovers Cinderella Beauty Salon. Aya Tsuji, a beautician by trade, invites her inside, explaining that physiognomy affects how one is loved by people, and claims that she can improve Yukako’s face, and by extension her love life. Yukako is skeptical but has nothing to lose, thus accepts a 30 minutes trial. When she closes her eyes, the beautician summons her Stand Cinderella and modifies her face. In the streets, Yukako coincidentally meets Koichi, who wishes to put aside their past fight and make peace, to Yukako’s joy. Amazingly, their discussion seems to turn into a romantic date at a café. Although Koichi and Yukako go as far as touching each other’s hand, the time limit has passed. Koichi begins to have stomachaches and runs away. Dismayed, Yukako rushes back to Aya’s salon and demands to be upgraded further. Aya accepts to modify Yukako’s whole body, but drawing a parallel with the story of Cinderella, warns her that she would need to use a special lipstick every 30 minutes from now on. Yukako accepts. Tying Aya and Cinderella, Yukako confirms that the beautician is Stand User but doesn’t care otherwise.
Beautified to capture Koichi’s love, Yukako meets him again in the streets. However, Rohan appears and pressures him into following him. Yukako, who pictured both of them having an intimate moment, is taken aback. She calls Aya out of frustration but Aya reassures her that love will bloom, eventually. However, Yukako’s frustration grows as friends and family members of Koichi continue to get between them at Kameyu market. Finally, events conspire to make them hug each other. A flash from Rohan’s camera startles Shizuka, Joseph and Josuke subsequently rush out of the supermarket to calm her, accidentally pushing Koichi in Yukako’s arm. They share a passionate kiss as the time limit of 30 minutes passes.
However, Yukako’s promise is broken and Cinderella’s modification begin to crumble. Yukako loses her beautiful face and becomes ugly. She cuts communication with Koichi. Several days later, she meets Koichi in the streets of Morioh but is forced to pretend she doesn’t know him. Heartbroken and furious, Yukako crashes Aya’s salon, ordering her to fix her face. However, Aya reveals that Yukako’s face is gone forever and her features begin to progressively disappear as a result of tampering with Fate. Yukako is horrified to see that her every features begin to disappear. Koichi suddenly enters the salon, having recognized Yukako by her personality alone. Impressed, Aya decides to give Yukako a second chance and spawns several faces, saying that she can choose whichever feels like hers, but choosing incorrectly would make her incredibly ugly forever.
Yukako is unable to decide, and asks Koichi to choose for her, saying that she will be satisfied with his choice, surprising Aya. Furthermore, when Koichi requests to be blinded in case Yukako ends up ugly to ease her pain, Aya is so moved by the couple’s love for each other that she restores Yukako’s features anyways. Everyone ends up happy.
Rock-Paper-Scissors Kid Is Coming!
Yukako also makes an appearance sitting at Cafe Deux Magots with Josuke and Okuyasu. The trio invites Rohan Kishibe to sit at their table but the mangaka refuses. When Rohan gets in a fight with a boy over a table, they berate Rohan for his attitude.
Goodbye, Morioh Town
Yukako last appears to bid goodbye to Reimi Sugimoto. The anime adaptation also shows her meeting with Koichi near the Angelo rock, apologizing for being late since she prepared lunch for the both of them, then going to school with Koichi.

Yukako later tells Rohan about Mai’s wedding with her new fiancé.
The Book: 4th Another Day
Yukako was Chiho Futaba’s neighbor when they were kids. She helps Koichi find Hanae Orikasa’s killer, a student with red marks on his arms. Suspecting the killer might be in the same class as them, Yukako traps their class in the classroom so Koichi could raise the temperature with a word made by Echoes, making the students take off their jackets. Unfortunately, the killer wasn’t in there. Several days later, Yukako witnesses the fire of Chiho’s home and immediately informs Koichi.

Yukako makes her first video-game appearance in Eyes of Heaven as a playable character. She was confirmed alongside Koichi, Hol Horse, and Jean Pierre Polnareff.
Yukako is of the Stand User Style, but more specifically is she a Mode User, possessing the exclusive ability to Switch Mode. Unlike other Mode Users, Yukako’s abilities and moveset do not dramatically change when she switches, nor is her mode one that requires a lengthy cooldown. This means that she is free to enter in and out of her mode as she pleases. Yukako is still a Stand User nonetheless, and as such, she is one of many characters with wildly varied abilities that grant her uniqueness in battle. She is also the only playable character in the game whose voice lines can dynamically change. In her case, all of her skill quotes and battle grunts becoming shriek-like and violent while Love Deluxe is active.
Yukako, in her enraged state, has unused voice clips for various conditions, such as insulting Josuke’s hairstyle, turned into a snail by Weather Report’s Heavy Weather, and time being frozen by DIO, Jotaro or Diego Brando (Parallel World); these voice clips have a different internal code, being «4ldy01» instead of «4ykk01» as usual.

Love Deluxe is Sade’s fourth LP, released at the end of 1992. Despite a gap of four years between Love Deluxe and Stronger Than Pride, the album was gladly received by a receptive audience the world over, hitting the top 10 in several countries and achieving quadruple platinum status in the US.
The album was the basis for the 1993 Love Deluxe world tour by the band. It features the singles No Ordinary Love, Feel No Pain, Kiss Of Life and Cherish The Day. No Ordinary Love went on to win the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group.

Appearance
Soft & Wet is a humanoid Stand of a streamlined, robotic form, light in color, and similar in height to Josuke.
On the top of its head is a five-pointed star bound with a circle. Growing from each side of its head are horn-like ears shaped as tapering pentagrammic prisms. It has round eyes, shaped as slotted screw heads; vertically dividing very small, slight, round pupils. Its face has a thick gap running from the top of the forehead past the bottom of the chin.
The front of two broad plates covering its torso is cut like its face in the shape of a large anchor; as well as in a line beneath both arms and between the base of its back and shoulders.
Its feet and hands are covered with plating, as are the sides of its hips and shoulders, both of which are shaped like sharp hearts and bear a five-pointed star. It has fine arms and legs, with dark, exposed ball-and-socket joints supported by short exterior cables. Its pelvis is bare and mechanical. The gaps in its plating reveal a deeper surface, covered in a fine pattern of horizontal ridges. An internal structure is visible at its profile, showing blocks approximating human centers of mass.
In later chapters, its torso takes on a more ‘heart-like’ shape. It also gains a circular jewel under its neck, and its shoulder pads become triangular, jutting out of its shoulders perpendicularly. Its ears have also grown a bit longer since it first appeared. [2]
Josefumi’s bubbles were initially featureless. After his fusion with Kira, Josuke’s bubbles now bear a five-pointed star, similar to Kira’s bubbles, and appear to be a sort of fusion between two bubbles of different sizes.

Soft & Wet’s Stand Cry is originally «ORA ORA ARA ORA» ( オラオラアラオラ ) when it first does a punch rush against Ojiro Sasame. [3] However, it becomes a regular «ORA ORA ORA» ( オラオラオラ ) in every fight afterwards. It is otherwise completely emotionless and silent, although sometimes it exhibits eccentric hand gestures, similar to its user.
Abilities
Soft & Wet is a humanoid close-range Stand. It possesses enhanced strength, demonstrated first when it breaks a large portion of an apartment wall with a single back kick, and is also capable of extremely rapid hand-to-hand combat. The extent of the damage it can inflict is limited, however, as it is unable to break through rock.
Its strength in melee exchanges compared to other Stands has been further demonstrated in the brief encounter with Yotsuyu Yagiyama’s Stand, I Am a Rock. Despite its volley of fast-paced strikes, Soft & Wet easily avoided and overcame it with a single ‘Ora’-articulated strike. [4]
When its user transforms into a different person as a result of undergoing equivalent exchange, Soft & Wet is granted additional abilities as a result.
Bubble Generation
Soft & Wet generates star-embedded floating bubbles, which must make contact with its target to work effectively. However, Josuke can control where the bubbles can fly, allowing him to send them where they are needed. The bubbles are actually comprised of tiny cords vibrating at super-high speeds, giving them the appearance of spheres. [5] The bubbles also appear divided down the middle, with a visible seam connecting both halves, which reflects their hybrid nature.
Josuke often takes direct advantage of his bubbles’ physical properties, for example their lifting power. This can help Josuke reach vantage points, or let him lift others in the air by enveloping them in a giant bubble. [6] The bubbles have some minimal resilience, so Josuke can hide himself and his allies inside giant bubbles for situational protection, or summon a bunch of smaller ones to cushion blows. Just like regular soap bubbles, Soft & Wet’s bubbles seem to be quite slippery as well. Josuke has utilized this property to deflect strikes, to use the bubbles as a ball-bearing system and quickly roll away, [7] and also for sillier things, like shaving without shaving cream. [8]
In addition to this, Soft & Wet is able to create bubbles utilizing existing substances, as demonstrated when it creates a shield from a bottle of water during Josuke’s pursuit by Blue Hawaii.
As the story has progressed, Josuke has developed this ability. Early in the story, he would often use one bubble, but later on, is shown conjuring dozens upon dozens with a quick flurry of strikes.
Plunder
The signature ability of Soft & Wet’s bubbles is to temporarily steal and contain physical properties, small items and various substances. [9] If a bubble pops on contact with an object, it will take away a certain property from the object for a short amount of time. If it doesn’t, it will store the property inside, allowing Soft & Wet to pop the bubble later and transfer that property to another object. According to Josuke, Soft & Wet’s ability cannot be used on himself. [3]
The one aspect of plunder Josuke has consistently utilized throughout the whole part is the ability to contain physical objects and substances. By the end of the story it ends up being almost the sole exclusive application of plunder. A simple swipe of Soft & Wet’s bubbles is enough to absorb things like water, fire and gasoline. This also allows Josuke to easily extract smaller constituent parts of a larger object, for example using just a single bubble to painlessly remove most of a live cat’s fur, [15] or absorbing moisture from plant tissue. [16] When taking individual small objects, like car keys or a tooth, Josuke often uses the bubble to remotely carry the item inside over a long distance.
Explosive Pop
As a result of their hybrid nature, Soft & Wet’s bubbles retain some aspects of Killer Queen’s explosive ability. The bubbles can pop with enough force to cause damage at close range, able to shatter plastic or burst a person’s eardrums. Josuke can also use this force to propel any small objects stored inside of his bubbles, with a degree of control over the direction they fly in, for example filling the bubbles with nuts and bolts to use them as projectiles. [17] In addition to this, Josuke is able to injure opponents by popping bubbles which have been embedded under their skin, an ability that one of the A. Phex Brothers remarked bears a striking resemblance to the late Kira’s own technique. This can also be used on inanimate objects, demonstrated when Josuke inflates a bubble into the surface of a desk to damage an enemy hiding below. [18] Soft & Wet reaches the height of its explosive potential when Josuke pries open a vault door by detonating the bubbles wedged into the gap between the door and the wall. [19]
Later on Josuke also learns use to use the bubbles’ explosive power to charge up their speed and launch them as their own high-velocity projectiles. [20] In addition to that, he can detonate previously inert bubbles to give them a sudden burst of speed. [21]
Soft & Wet: Go Beyond
Go Beyond’s bubbles can phase into and cross through any barrier. [22] This is first noted by Mamezuku when an invisible bubble manages to clip into a wall without damaging it. It is later shown to greater effect when a bubble created using Go Beyond bridges the distance between T.G. University Hospital and the Higashikata Estate by entering Paisley Park’s domain, albeit with the help of Yasuho Hirose. Upon hitting Toru, one of Go Beyond’s bubbles even appears to phase through his skin, similar to an application of Killer Queen’s ability which had been a core element of Kira’s fighting style.
In addition to this, Go Beyond is not subject to the laws of calamity. These bubbles are theoretically nonexistent, so directing them toward Wonder of U or its user is not seen as an act of pursuit and doesn’t trigger Wonder of U’s ability.
Due to the extreme speed at which Go Beyond’s bubbles can spin, they can be used as projectiles to devastating effect. Upon making contact with a target, Go Beyond can instantly erode whatever part of their body it touches. In addition to this, Go Beyond’s bubbles can burst with an extreme amount of force; a direct hit on Toru was able to launch him a great distance into the air.
Go Beyond was originally used subconsciously by Josuke. He managed to unknowingly produce an invisible bubble from his birthmark while charging up a high-velocity soap bubble to launch at Wonder of U. Upon learning of the invisible bubble’s presence, Josuke demonstrated the ability to create one at will. However, he is incapable of controlling or aiming them after they are created. Thus far, the only workaround to this limit has come in the form of a combined attack with Yasuho Hirose, where she aims Go Beyond by using Paisley Park to guide the invisible bubble through the cellphone that Josuke is holding and out of one in her hand, which she points at the attack’s target.
Pre-Equivalent Exchange
While Josefumi Kujo was in control of Soft & Wet, this ability of plunder described as «absorption«. As a Stand user, Josefumi was experienced enough to utilize his ability with extreme levels of precision. For example, Josefumi was able to use Soft & Wet at precisely enough to seamlessly graft a loose branch onto a different plant, an ability which he and Yoshikage Kira attempted to use for the cultivation of Locacaca. [23] Josefumi was also shown using his soap bubbles to remove excess amounts of black pepper from his bowl of ramen.
Josefumi’s bubbles were clear and released almost no force when they popped. Curiously enough, although Josuke himself was ultimately created due to the equivalent exchange of the Wall Eyes, Soft & Wet gained its star marking and slight explosive power while Josefumi was still alive and in control of it, right after he exchanged tissue with Kira through the New Locacaca. Love Love Deluxe (story arc)
It narrates Josuke’s meeting with Karera Sakunami, an eccentric woman who seems to have been acquainted with his former identity.

The next day, Yasuho and Tsurugi analyze the video feed of Aisho’s death, realizing the strange nature of the people they are going after and determined to investigate the stadium. They meet Josuke and since Yasuho and Josuke are too happy to see each other to continue the investigation, it is paused for the time being.
Josuke and Yasuho stroll on the beach, sharing a tender moment, however Josuke is signaled by another girl, calling for a meeting later. Josuke follows her, intrigued since the woman acts as if she knows him, calling him «Secchan». His suspicions are confirmed when she mentions Yoshikage Kira, but finding something unfamiliar, she flees. Using Soft & Wet to learn her name, Karera Sakunami, Josuke calms her worries about him, and opts to fake knowing her until the moment she tells him his real name.
As Josuke follows Karera, he is dismayed at Karera’s flighty behavior, going to random places and conning people with her Stand ability. She eventually shows Josuke a photo of her, Kira, and a third man, and reveals his name: Josefumi Kujo. Josuke catches a glimpse of her Stand Love Love Deluxe and continues to follow her. Meanwhile a pair of twins playing football, the A. Phex Brothers, track Karera.
Karera then goes to Kira’s apartment, but upon being announced Kira’s death, freaks out, asking for the circumstances of his death, Josuke mentions the heart attack, but doesn’t mention he was present at the crime scene. Karera reveals that she saw Kira hide a Locacaca tree in his apartment, Josuke being clueless of what she’s talking about but suspecting a link with the mysterious fruit.
Karera is suddenly held by one of the A. Phex Brothers, who uses his Stand Schott Key No.1 to douse Karera with gas, which he ignites. Josuke saves Karera, who flees, and the Brothers opt to kill Josuke first.
Two double pages disclose many details about the Rock Humans, their physiology, their habits, and their manners.
A fight ensues between Josuke and the A. Phex Brothers. Josuke manages to block Schott Key No.2’s poison gas, when the elder brother grapples him and shifts some poison gas from his left hand to his right hand, Josuke plunders the poison gas and takes him hostage with the bubbles around his head. When the elder, soaked with gas, is ignited by Karera, his brother runs toward him, forgetting the bubbles which pop and envelop him in poison gas. Both Rock men are consequently killed. Karera, finally understanding that Kira and Josuke performed an equivalent exchange, goes away before Josuke can ask her anything else.
