THIS MANHWA IS AMAZING, I’M SO SORRY FOR NOT READING IT EARLIER.
I’m rooting for Yoo, and I’m pretty sure Ban is in love with Dan-I, also Ban’s brother is in love with Dan-I and I LOVE IT, TOO.
AGH, I HAVE A LOT OF SHIPS IN THIS MANHWA.
But the only thing that is certain, Dan-I is the protagonist. EXCUSE YOU.

I can’t be a female lead in a novel. I have common sense»
That line had me hollering hahahaha
Can someone please update this masterpiece? I’m currently at ch. 19 and I’m already in love with it.
Dont give a shit it’s a reverse harem bc it’s too damn good. Every single characters is all so good-looking you’ve gotta be shitting me

Mc wakes up one day to see her reality switched with a web-novel and totally freaks out.
Its honestly so refreshing how realistic she is and how the author mocks the cliche stories. I mean this shit is really realistic. This would also be my reaction if I am thrown to a novel. Like, everything is confusing so how can I just act like being buddy buddy with the girl that suddenly existed in my life? I’d probably be locked in my room several days having mental breakdowns trying to piece the fragile world around me back together like a freaking jig-saw puzzle only to toss it out the window in frustration because pieces would be missing since the world isn’t right lol. The MC handled it so much better.
Apparently, there is a main guy (which totally breaks my heart, my guy isnt the ML damn it!!) but the story is more like a journey about our MC navigating this world, falling in love, and creeating friendships.

Aw man- I flew through this series and I’m already on season 3! I have to say I am really loving this story. It’s defiantly a slice-of-life kind of drama with a nice little twist and compelling characters.
Also, got choked up reading a few times- would recommend.

Maybe it had been a good idea to DNF this before, if only I’d listened to my instinct I’d have gone and read something else from my crushing tbr.
This crap is full of cliques (I know it’s meant to be but they are boundless at this point), repetitive scenarios, boring main and two-dimensional worldbuilding.
Han Dan-I is a whiny and annoying character who I’ve repeatedly wanted to punch in the face several times. After all of h 3.5, old review below (not applicable to current thoughts)

Han Dan-I is a whiny and annoying character who I’ve repeatedly wanted to punch in the face several times. After all of her talk about her living in an isekai story she of course has become the Mary Sue in need of protection. I understand why she’d have so many communication issues but it’s been over three years.
The worldbuilding isn’t explained one bit and how on earth is the story flowing with Dan-I in it? How is the author supposedly controlling the world? I don’t even know at this point.

I’m currently at episode 98 and I don’t feel like continuing.
Art : It’s beautiful, I admit it, but nothing impressive or original for a webtoon.

Characters : There are too many for the author I think. Sure, each character has a little backgtound story but apart from that, they are flat. Or really cliché, but I’ll talk about that later.
The MC. the more time goes by the less I like her. In the end, she has nothing really special I stumbled upon it by chance and I think I should have passed.

The MC. the more time goes by the less I like her. In the end, she has nothing really special as a character, like in many other webtoon, I don’t deny it, but that’s just a disadvantage of the webtoon principle.

The story: I don’t know where to start.
— The author betrays him/herself: the author denounce the clichés of webtoon and especially reverse harem at the beginning but the webtoon ends up diving into it, head first, without questioning itself.
— The logic: at one point, the MC returns to her world and is traumatized by this experience where she almost lost her wonderful friends. Apart from the fact that most people, although sad, would be happy to go back home (but this is an isekai after all), this experience is never explained.
It just served to show how much the characters cared about her, but it made the story more blurry.
Some isekais made the choice to ignore the explanation of the trip, but this webtoon decided to play with that.

I LOVE THIS MANHWA! It is hilarious and I laughed out loud so many times. I would say it is not cliché in anyway.

This web novel is bull****
I laughed out loud when I read what Dan-I said that.

There is a heroine, of course there always is. In every story, whether in fiction or in reality but the condition is that we cannot always become a heroine, sometimes even a side character also do.
Not revealing much, here is a bit summary of the plot:

There is a teen girl who loves reading novels or basically webnovels but one day when she wakes up, she found herself in same!! With a beautiful best friend and 4 handsome boys with different hair colours popping up, she is sure that she is meant to be a side character.
The catch?? She may or maybe not be right about her being only a simple side character, especially when people are attracting towards her more and more. A big secret that she is hiding is also showing slowly.
Get ready for this because you might not know when it makes a spot in your heart. An absolutely amazing, hilarious story showcasing the slice of life with thriller and light romance on top.

If I were to describe this story with one tag, it would be stuck between ‘mystery’ and ‘mind-fuckery’ because the above summary? Does not do it justice for how deep and emotional it gets. I wouldn’t call it psychological, but it really does mess with your head. I don’t want to spoil anything, which makes it very hard to review, but it’s not the carefree, slapstick comedy it looks like on the cover- or starts out like in the first couple of chapters.

Seriously hooked on this!
It’s really easy to engage in the story. Most of the time I’m with the MC Ham Dan-ah, thinking «yeah you’re acting exactly how I would in your situation». It makes for a sometimes sad but hilarious storyline that I’m hooked on.
A little while ago, I started learning Korean (reading the alphabet first) and it’s given me another boost to my drive to learn it quicker just so I can read all the chapters I can get my hands on.

I had high expectations when I picked this up because of all the positive reviews.
To say this is fresh/not cliche is an overstatement.
I think they just freshen an overused trope (isekai) only to replace it with an even more overused one (bullying). If I were to choose between the two, I would choose isekai.
It was a slow start. Because MC reacted realistically upon finding herself inside a webnovel.
Others might find this new or incredibly boring depending on what they have been reading 3.5⭐ @ch105

I don’t particularly mind, it was a little of both for me.
However the sudden timeskip then backtracking style of writing confused me (maybe because this is a manhwa which is only a light read that’s why I’m reading fast and doesn’t bother going back and all, this is usually okay in novels because they are more descriptive).
The misunderstanding, verbal abuse, bullying because of jealousy over popular guys. are often too bitter for me to swallow. It’s so cliche in Korean media (manhwa, kdrama. )
That said, it was soooo hard for me to get through the Yeoryong anti cafe arc but it also has its strong points. MC’s strong character was highlighted, their friendship, and most of all Ju-in really stood out to me here and I think I’m going to make him my favorite character.
However if the anti cafe arc is redeemable, what followed after is not. Even after the perpetrator transferred, their friends still targeted Dan-I. It just felt dragging from there.
I think that’s all my frustrations. Let’s talk about the good points.
I don’t mind the harem because all of them are likeable it’s so hard to choose a ship. Like I had a main guy (Chunyoung), then I began liking Ji-ho and then there’s Yeoryong 🤣 I like them for MC but I’m gonna take Yeodan-oppa for mehself and Ju-in as my little bro 🤣
I also like how the manhwa explored people’s vulnerabilities and strong friendship. MC’s insecurities, Yeoryong’s lack of faith in herself thus her attachment to MC, and the guys-
they all have their likeable qualities.
Their funny expressions are a comic relief. The art reminded me of Oh! holy (the other work of Ahyun).
