They have now made the pro features available for free. Thank you Leica for listening to your customers. I can confidently rate this app 4 stars. Really looking forward to using this app more now.

Guess I’ll try again.

This app has not worked properly or reliably since I purchased my M10 a year ago. Lately it just freezes on the black screen with the Leica logo in the middle. My camera says it’s connected but the app just sits there. The red dot reminds me of HAL from 2001, staring at me, waiting, plotting maybe? I’d like to use it once in a while as a remote way to view when shooting from the hip or over my head. It’s not a necessity but I would like to at least try it for f$&ks sake. Good thing I went with the m10 as I was planning on the M10-d and was going to use the app often to check my exposures and view what I shot when I take my mid day break. Who am I kidding, I still wish I would have skipped a month of meals and paying my bills on time and gone with the M10-d. I’m a poor man, sold my car and Fuji gear for the M10,as a serious illness leaves the true rangefinder as my only option for professional quality cameras. Just fix the app as it’s me and the M 10 for the rest of my life unless some cash decides to fall from the sky and into my wallet. I’m proud to be the worlds poorest Leica shooter.

The Leica HxMap common sensor post-processing platform offers the following modules to meet your needs:

How does HxMap work?
Leica HxMap intuitively guides you along a common processing workflow. Starting from data download, raw QC, data ingest all the way to the final product generation. Depending on the input data, additional steps like aerial triangulation, radiometric adjustments and LiDAR point cloud registration are available.

Furthermore, the HxMap product generator allows a large number of products to be generated by the push of a button: referenced images, orthophotos, info clouds, point clouds as well as 3D city models.

These features build the right solution for large oblique projects, country-wide orthophoto or LiDAR mapping for small engineering projects alike.

Data acquisition + data processing = airborne reality capture
To reach highest efficiency the data acquisition has been tightly integrated with the post processing workflow. Thus, HxMap can be enabled for individual sensor types. For flexible production, scalable and application-specific software modules are bundled with the matching hardware, namely Leica RealCity, Leica RealWorld and Leica RealTerrain.

RealCity supports you with your smart city and 3D city modelling applications, RealWorld is designed for Leica RCD30 and Leica DMCIII large area imaging projects in 2D and Leica RealTerrain is particularly effective for LiDAR mapping. Update Software

Automatic Online Software Update

Follow these steps to complete an automatic update.

Confirm that the instrument battery is at least 50% full and make sure that you have installed the drivers for USB or Active Sync, depending on the connection you want to use. The drivers can be downloaded under Download Manuals and Tools.

Connect your instrument to the computer via the cable supplied with the instrument. Refer to the User Manual for information on connecting instruments to the computer.

The connection must not be interrupted until the software update is complete.

Press Start Update and follow the wizard steps.

Wait till you receive a confirmation message that the update is complete before unplugging the instrument.

Offline Software Update

The offline update is useful if you don’t have the instrument with you at the computer. Select and download the individual updates and upload them to the instrument when it is convenient, either in the office or out in the field.

To quickly find items use the Sort by filter.

How long is the software update going to take?

The update is dependant on your internet connection. A progress bar indicates the update status.

Is there a message on the instrument that the download is complete?

A message will be displayed in myWorld@Leica Geosystem when the update is complete. No message is shown on the instrument.

В течение нескольких секунд RTK с точностью до сантиметра определит положение прибора, находящегося на расстоянии до 50 км от базовой станции. SmartStation позволяет выполнить съемку в кратчайшие сроки. Для этого необходимо лишь определить положение тахеометра при помощи ГНСС-системы.
