Earth is the world where Nikki and Momo are originally from. It has many things in common with Miraland, which is considered «another dimension of the Earth» by Momo and his grandfather’s grandfather. [1] It is the setting of both Nikki UP2U: A dressing story and Hello Nikki-Let’s Beauty Up.

History [ ]

While on Earth, Nikki enjoyed various activities such as swimming in the summer, going out with classmates, making origami, hiking, playing DOTA, going to rock bands, cosplaying, and modeling. [3]

She also made clothes from time to time, including a little lion back pack. [4]

Nikki and Momo were taken to Miraland in the year 680 of the New Era in Miraland’s time. [5] It is unknown what year it was on Earth when this occurred.

China is a country in Asia. It is home to the empress Wu Zetian, who was the only female empress in China’s history and who created the Zhou Dynasty on her own. [6]

While on Earth, Nikki visited Lijiang, China, where she met up with her sister to spend holiday time together. [7] They visited Yulong Mountain while they were there [8] and watched the sunrise. [9] They later visited Shangri-La. [10]

Shanghai is also mentioned in relation to a suit designed by the Ancient Pavilion Designer, Story of Shanghai. It describes Shanghai as «dreamy» and a place where a brewing storm could be forgotten. [11] It is unclear what the relationship is between Shanghai and Miraland, or if the Designer knew about Earth.

Nikki’s Hometown [ ]

It is not explicitly stated where Nikki lived. However, it’s said that Cloud Empire resembles her hometown. [12] [13] It’s also said that Apple Federal, especially the modern dressing style, is similar to her hometown. [14] It rarely snows in her hometown. [15]

Bangladesh is a country in Asia described as having four colorful seasons and a strong connection to nature. The prolific poet and artist, Rabindranath Tagore, is also from Bangladesh. [16] [17]

Brazil is a country in South America. It is described as being home to ancient civilizations such as the Mayans, and having music and dance like the samba in Rio de Janeiro. [18]

England [ ]

England is a country in Europe. Nikki, her sister, and Momo once went to its capital London on holiday, where Nikki bought two separate outfits, one for day and one for night. She also wore comfortable shoes throughout the trip, which distressed Momo due to their simplicity. She later brought the clothes to Miraland, which made her friends curious about London. [19]

Greece [ ]

Greece is a country in Europe where the Olympic games were born and is known for its gods and goddesses such as Athena and Venus. [20]

Mongolia [ ]

Mongolia is a country in Asia. It is described as having grasslands where one can dance. Nikki apparently visited Mongolia, and dreamed of the dances later. [21]

Scotland [ ]

Scotland is a country in Europe. Though it is unknown if Nikki ever visited Scotland, she told some girls in the North Kingdom about how boys in Scotland wear kilts, which made them curious. [22]

Relationship to Miraland [ ]

Comparisons [ ]

Similarly to Earth, Miraland has twelve months and four seasons, implying both Miraland and Earth rotate on tilted axes. They also share the same zodiac systems, both the western and the Chinese zodiac, which originated from Cloud Empire in Miraland. [23]

Overall, they share many of the same varieties of flora and fauna, and because of this have the same food.

The two universes have a number of cultural differences, the largest one being that fashion seems to take the place of traditional academics in Miraland, with schools and careers largely dedicated to designing and styling.

The people in Miraland treat Nikki’s appearance and the existence of another world with great skepticism. Nikki did not tell Kimi she was from another world until they had known each other for a while, and though Kimi admitted it did sound unbelievable, she expressed interest in hearing about Earth. Home Stylist

Home Stylist is a Home feature that allows players to decorate the rooms of other players and request that their own rooms be decorated.

Home Stylist Menu [ ]

The Home Stylist menu

The home stylist menu consists of six buttons that allow the player to manage and accept commissions.

Above the main menu, the player can view their total fans and praises, rank, experience and Style Info. This will display stats relating to the player’s finished commissions.

Home Stylist Certification [ ]

The image to recreate

To access most of the menu and begin publishing or accepting commissions, the player must pass the Home Stylist Certification. The player is given 1 free attempt per day, but can purchase more with diamonds.

To pass, the player must recreate the given image as closely as they can using the given furniture. If the result is at least a 60% match, the player will pass and be given access to the rest of the Home Stylist features.

Commissions Market [ ]

Public commission requests that have not yet been accepted appear here. The Change button will refresh the menu, and the Style Filter button allows the player to filter by tags.

Commissions are displayed with the publisher’s name and avatar, style tag preference, commission adoption rate, total unique collected furniture and reserve.

If a commission has been accepted by another player while displayed, it cannot be accepted.

Commission [ ]

Commissions are the primary mechanic of the Home Stylist feature. Publishing a commission allows for a player to decorate the publisher’s room.

Accepting a Commission [ ]

The player can accept public commissions from the Commissions Market, or a targeted commission from the Mailbox.

Upon accepting the commission, the player can access it from the My Commission icon. The publisher will be sent an automated message to their BBS upon accepting the commission.

Once the commission has been accepted, the player can decorate the room with the publisher’s furniture. Extra furniture can be bought from the Users Furniture icon using the reserve.

Once 10 minutes have elapsed, the player can submit the commission as finished, preventing them from further altering their design.

Commissioning Another Player [ ]

Public commissions can be posted via the Publish buttons, either in the main Home interface or the Commissions Market menu. Private commissions can be posted via the Commission buttons, either in the requested player’s house or in their Stylist Diary.

Adopting a Finished Commission [ ]

Once a commission is finished, the player will be alerted. From here, the commission can be praised, adopted, praised and adopted or neither. If the commission expires, it will be praised and adopted automatically.

Warning: if a commission expires and is automatically adopted, only unused reserve tickets will be returned. The player cannot get back tickets that have been spent.

Since information comes from many sources in the game, feel free to cite any of them. You can also cite officially published sources, such as social media posts by the game account (Official Weibo, Facebook, Twitter, and the like).

If something is very common knowledge within the game (eg something stated over and over: Kimi is the heir to the apple apparel group, Nidhogg is Prime Minister, Nikki is a stylist) then you don’t have to cite it. Also, general sweeping statements that you might find in the relationships or personality section don’t have to be cited. Though it’s helpful for readers if you cite when you mention specific examples/instances, so that they can go read up on it.

Please don’t cite other lore pages. For example, don’t cite Yvette’s page while editing Nidhogg’s page.

Formatting references

References should go after the end of the sentence (after punctuation).

Guest Account [ ]

A guest account is the most limited type of account. You don’t need a login or password, just click on the Guest button on the login screen.

Limitations of Guest Accounts: [ ]

Due to the risk of losing your account if it is not bound in any way, it is strongly suggested to bind to Facebook, email, or Apple ID (iOS only).

Facebook-linked Account [ ]

To remove the guest limitations, link your account to your Facebook login. You can only bind one Love Nikki account to one Facebook account and this can NOT be undone.

Advantages of Facebook-Linked Accounts: [ ]

Bind to Mail [ ]

This is an extra security option available for both Facebook and Guest games. [1] After logging in, click on your avatar picture, then Settings, then select «Bind Account with Mail». Type in your email address and a password. [2] Note: You cannot change or recover your password once it has been chosen.

Advantages of binding an email: [ ]

Recovering a mail-based account: [ ]

On the loading screen before entering the game, press the Mail button in the upper right hand corner and log in using the email and password you chose. [2]

Bind to Apple ID [ ]

This is another security option for iOS players using iOS 13 or above. Apple ID-bound accounts operate similarly to other guest accounts, as they cannot send stamina or receive rewards from sharing.

It is only available to those who have not bound their account to Facebook (guest accounts). However, a player can bind their account via Apple ID if they sign into their Facebook account as a guest at the login screen.

One Apple ID can only be connected to one game account, and once connected, it cannot be disconnected. After binding to an Apple ID, the player cannot bind to Facebook. [3]

As the story begins, an average teen girl named Nikki and her talking cat Momo find themselves magically transported to a world called Miraland, where all conflicts are resolved on the catwalk. Even conflicts of international importance: years ago, following the death of the beloved King Sayet, his three most treasured designs were distributed to the winners of an intense fashion contest called the «Nine Day War.» One of the winners was Queen Elle of Pigeon Kingdom: she took home two of the three treasures, and has been using their power to rule as a tyrant ever since. (The third treasure disappeared with Elle’s rival, a mysterious pink-haired contestant named «Hostess L», and neither has been seen since. )

With the help of her new friends, Nikki will embark on an amazing journey across the seven nations of this new world: the modern and fashionable Apple Federation, the magnificent eastern Cloud Empire, the cute and fairy-like Lilith Kingdom, the wild and untamed Republic of Wasteland, the cold and stern North Kingdom, the elegant but magisterial Pigeon Kingdom, and the mysteriously high-tech Ruin Island. As she travels, she’ll learn the designing styles of each country, build relationships with the designers & stylists she meets along the way, and prove that she’s got what it takes to be the best stylist in Miraland.

The game has been adapted into three different comic series: one released officially in English by the Love Nikki team, one published only in Japan in the Princess magazine, and another that was published only in the Nakayoshi magazine.

The Love Nikki Manga is an official manga telling the story of Love Nikki-Dress Up Queen!. It is released on the official Love Nikki Facebook page. It is written and drawn by 壱コトコ (Ichi Kotoko).

Though it is officially released, due to the discrepancies between the game’s story and the manga’s, the manga is considered non-canon.

Manga Description [ ]

Volume 1 [ ]

The manga opens with Queen Nanari talking to herself about how Nikki has to change the fate of this world. It then cuts to Nikki at her school on Earth. Nikki is well-known for her styling skills, and everyone wants help with creating a perfect outfit for any situation, which she is happy to help with. It’s even suggested to her that she should be a stylist in the future, though she’s unsure it would work as a real job.

While walking around at school, Nikki hears someone call her name, but nobody is there. She happens across a mirror and sees her reflection wearing a dress (Nikki’s Dress) instead of her school uniform. A blinding light starts emitting from the mirror, and a moment later she finds herself on the ground in a forest.

Her cat Momo is there, and she realizes she isn’t in school anymore. Queen Nanari appears and explains that she summoned her there to change the world’s fate. She gives her a suitcase that can hold clothes that she gathers before disappearing.

Nikki realizes that Momo knew about this world beforehand, and that she was pulled away from Earth. She’s distraught and upset as she realizes she doesn’t know anybody here and that her school and home are gone. Momo reassures her that they’ll find a way home, and they go to discover where exactly they are.

They walk into Wheat Field and notice it’s exactly how their world looks. Bobo appears then and, though she doesn’t believe that Nikki is from another world, gives them an introduction to Miraland. Nikki is ecstatic to find out it’s a «stylist’s holy land», and she and Bobo have their first styling battle. The two of them also discover that the suitcase Nanari gave Nikki is bottomless, meaning she can fit as much clothing as she wants inside it.

Bobo invites Nikki to Lilith Kingdom with her, but not before introducing her to her friend Toto, who needs styling help for a date. After helping her, Nikki realizes she can help people with styling in the same way she did on Earth, and resolves to help as many girls as she can.

Volume 2 [ ]

Nikki wakes up at Bobo’s home, disoriented. Bobo has made them breakfast, and offers to let Nikki stay at her home while she’s in Lilith. Nikki begins to ask Bobo about Queen Nanari, but Momo interrupts by talking in his sleep about grilled fish.

Aron comes into Bobo’s house without knocking, asking for help, and Bobo reprimands her. Aron wants Bobo to lend her a cute flower pattern dress, but since she’s more of a tomboy, she feels uncomfortable with it on. They decide to go into Lilith with Aron in order to see what she likes. A boy sees her, and calls her «guy». When she asks him to call her Aron, he said he would if she dressed more like a girl, and she promptly kicked him, leaving Nikki and Bobo stunned. Aron laments that a flower dress is unsuitable for her because she acts like that, but Nikki fondly calls her a «girl of vigor» and they go to pick out clothes.

Nikki picks out a floral-pattern pantskirt, which is more suitable for active girls like Aron, but Aron doesn’t like the color that much. Though Nikki is disappointed at first that Aron doesn’t like it, she insists that Aron shouldn’t compromise and that they would definitely find a perfect style for her. However, Nikki can’t find anything like it at the store.

Royce appears then, surprising them all, and introduces the concept of dyeing and crafting clothing. He gives Nikki dyes for the pantskirt, and they go to the Recipe Workshop and dye her a dark blue pair.

They go with Aron to an amusement park to see the boy’s reaction. All of Aron’s friends are impressed with her style, and the boy admits it’s «not bad» and «pretty cute», making her blush. Nikki, happy that her styling advice worked, is validated in her belief that every girl has her own cute side.

Volume 3 [ ]

As they approach, though, they realize that they came several days early, giving them time to hang out and explore. It turns out Bobo rented a hotel for them, meaning that she likely knew they would be early after all. Together Nikki, Momo, and Bobo head to the hotel, a large building with a «special» ambiance that could be haunted. A dark figure with hair over her face appears at the doorway to greet them, startling the girls, but they realize after looking a second later that the figure is just a young girl. The girl and her brother, whose names are Riky and Darcy, lead Nikki and her friends inside. Darcy claims that the hotel is haunted, but they’re just normal kids, and they apologize for making them worry.

They lead Nikki and her friends to the hotel room, which is clean and bright with a view of the ocean. Excited, Bobo and Nikki dress up in the swimsuits Dynamic Maiden and Wonderful Holidays respectively. They invite Riky too, but Riky admits that she ate too much sweets and worries about how her stomach will look. Nikki and Momo promise to find something that she will like, and supply for her a one-piece swimsuit that covers her stomach. The three girls, plus Momo, go down to the beach and have a good time. Momo sunbathes while they play in the water, and Nikki and Bobo also help Riky sell drinks.

After the day at the beach, they return to the hotel, which is even scarier at night. Riky admits to them that sometimes, they hear women screaming from outside the hotel at night. When guests would go check it out, they would see a woman jump off the cliff. As Riky says this, her brother Darcy appeared from behind Bobo and pushed her. Frightened, Bobo made Darcy apologize for the prank. However, Darcy maintains that the story about ghosts was true, and warns Nikki and Bobo again that they would be haunted if they went near the cliff.

Despite the warning, Nikki, Bobo, and Riky go to the cliff, where they do hear the voice of a screaming woman. All of a sudden, a figure appears with long, flowing hair. Bobo and Riky begin to scream, but Nikki runs over and grabs it to find Darcy with a wig. Nikki admits that she remembered what Darcy was wearing and understood that he hadn’t had time to change before they went to the cliff. Darcy is annoyed and asks them to tell nobody before leading them down the beach.

A stage is prompting me to enter multiple outfits when it shouldn’t [ ]

It’s believed that this glitch happens when the last stage played is a story stage with multiple outfits. The story stages that have multiple themes are 9-6 Serial Competitions!, 9-9 One-piece Dress, and 10-9 Past the Group Games.

«Clothes Illegal» [ ]

This glitch can appear in Starry Corridor when creating a group picture or in Association Style Contests (also known as Sand Skirmish). What it means is that the other person’s clothing that they had set includes an item they no longer own. They may have customized it so that they lost the original color that was included in the set outfit.

Another cause for this can be that they had the item Riptide, a right-handheld item that was previously classified as left-handheld, equipped as a left-handheld item.

My stamina just went down/I have 4 stamina but it says insufficient stamina [ ]

There is a display error with stamina that sometimes shows you as having one more than you actually do. It will then adjust to fix itself naturally while playing, which makes it appear that your stamina has «gone down» by one. There is no fix to this, but rest assured it is only a display error and the game isn’t stealing your stamina.

Nina has naturally wavy brown hair. She often wears red because it reminds her of her favorite fruit, strawberries. [2] However, after she left Apple Federation, she dyed her hair light purple. [3]

Personality [ ]

Sweet and shy, Nina was withdrawn as a little girl, and bullies would target her because she was «cold» and «weird». She didn’t always talk in complete sentences. However, she was good with animals, especially her cat Mr. Lancelot. She was also praised by her teachers, implying she was good in school. As she grew up, she smiled more and became more outgoing and adventurous, encouraged by her friendships with Orlando and Flynn.

Childhood [ ]

As a child, Nina was diagnosed with autism. She tended to immerse herself in her own world and had no friends in the welfare house where she lived. [4]

Year 667 [ ]

Though there was a rule at the welfare house Nina lived at against having pets, she adopted a cat and named him Mr. Lancelot. [5] She considered him her friend rather than her pet, and she would feed him at the same time everyday at the balcony of the dorm.

One day when Nina was being bullied by two other kids, Mr. Lancelot leapt between them and hissed at them, scaring them away but also alerting them to the fact that Nina had adopted a cat. They reported Mr. Lancelot to a worker at the welfare house, Ms. Amanda, and Nina was forced to give up Mr. Lancelot. She looked everywhere for him, but the only hint she saw about him was a ripped note on the lost-and-found board about a black cat. [6]

She asked the receptionist, Grandpa Henry, about the note, and he offered to contact the boys who had left the note for her, though he warned her again that pets weren’t allowed. Nina met Orlando and Flynn, two cadets of the Apple Military, who brought Mr. Lancelot. However, upon learning that she couldn’t keep Mr. Lancelot, Flynn implored Orlando to keep him at his house, to which he agreed. They invited her to spend weekends with them so she could keep seeing him. Flynn also told her to think of them as her brothers from then on, since she was alone. [1]

Year 668 [ ]

Nina went on to visit Orlando and Flynn each weekend, and it became the highlight of her week. She began to smile more and more. [7] She also became more interested in designing, inspired by Flynn one day when he spoke about protecting the people he cared about. After he said that, she drew her first design, [8] and after a year of knowing Orlando and Flynn, she showed Orlando her designs. He praised her talent and offered to tutor her so she could become better. [7]

Year 670 [ ]

Nina became apprenticed to a designer named Mr. Wycliffe, who had formerly worked for the Apple Federation Apparel Group. It was considered a great honor, since he did not commonly take apprentices. Nina went to tell Orlando and Flynn, but found out they had left for their graduation mission. While she waited for them to come back, she designed and created suits for their graduation ball, and picked out a gift for Orlando to thank him for looking after Mr. Lancelot. [9]

However, only Orlando returned, oddly quiet. Nina thought he was trying to fool her at first by looking sad, and she expected Flynn to jump out and scare her, but Orlando told her that Flynn wasn’t coming back. As Nina realized he had really died on the mission, she couldn’t stop herself from crying and remembering all the memories she had with him. She hugged Orlando, both of them crying while thinking of the missing member of their group. [10]

Visiting the house where Flynn lived became too painful to her, and she chose to leave Apple and go travel the world with Mr. Wycliffe. However, she continued to communicate with Orlando through letters. [11]

Year 676 [ ]

Nina was accepted to Lilith Kingdom’s Cicia School of Design during this year, taking a different path after her time studying with Mr. Wycliffe. Orlando commended her on this, saying she could learn a lot in a new atmosphere and that she could develop her own style. [12]

Year 680 [ ]

Nina returned to Apple and became an intern at the Apple Federation Apparel Group, impressing Kimi with her resume and Joe Brownie with her design style. She wasn’t sure whether she wanted to continue with the group, but she loved designing and seeing her designs become reality. [8]

Nina reunited with Orlando and Mr. Lancelot as well, finding him at the welfare house after his butler told her where to find him. Nina also met Nikki, Kimi, Bobo, and Momo there. She and Orlando reminisced on their memories of Flynn. [8]

Nina sees Orlando as a big brother. Orlando encouraged Nina’s design skills, considering her «gifted.» He began teaching her about design on the weekends they spent together. When she went away to travel the world and study design, she kept in touch with Orlando, writing him many letters.

Orlando has said she has «a keen vision and unique insights in design.»

Flynn [ ]

Flynn inspired Nina to begin drawing her own designs. She loved him dearly and considered him a brother, and would laugh at his silly antics. His death affected her deeply, and she left to travel the seven nations with Mr. Wycliffe when memories of Flynn became too hurtful.

As a young adult, she remembers Flynn fondly and feels his presence with her.

Mr. Lancelot [ ]

Nina adopted Mr. Lancelot, and he became her only companion. He rescued Nina from bullies. When she was told as a child that she could not keep pets, she insisted that Mr. Lancelot was a friend instead of a pet.

Nikki, Yoyo, and Momo with the treasure map

Before the game, Nikki lived on Earth with her cat Momo, her mother, father, and her sister Yoyo. Nikki took ballet in her childhood, [1] and once had a part-time job. [2] The dress she went on to wear in Miraland was a birthday gift from her mother. [3] Her father was a photographer, and Nikki went to his exhibitions sometimes. [4] Every year, Nikki’s family would go to watch the cherry blossoms together. [5]

Nikki’s father later left and journeyed around the world in hopes of becoming a famous photographer. [6] On Nikki’s birthday one year, he sent her a mysterious map promising treasures at the end. [7] Nikki, Yoyo, and Momo set off on a journey, traveling across the Earth to a multitude of countries and continents, and meeting a variety of friends together.

Year 680 [ ]

One day, Queen Nanari of Lilith Kingdom in Miraland, a world separate from Earth, summoned Nikki in order to change the fate of that world. Nikki found herself with Momo in a small city named Wheat Field in a nation called Apple Federal. A girl called Aron introduced her to the custom of doing styling battles for fun. [8] Bobo, from Lilith Kingdom, took notice of Nikki’s skill and asked where she was from, but claimed not to believe Nikki when she said she was from another world. [9]

Nikki, Momo, and Bobo began to travel around Wheat Field and came across Lunar, a designer from Cloud Empire, who had her designs stolen. [10] They apprehended the girl who stole them, Mela, and Nikki beat her in a styling battle in order to win the designs back. Mela left, but warned Nikki about the Iron Rose Stylist Legion, the organization she belonged to that traveled around Miraland acquiring designs. [11]

Nikki, Momo, and Bobo headed to Cicia, Lilith, and explored the city and theater while Nikki learned the ins and outs of styling battles. By coincidence Nikki battled against Royce, who, unbeknownst to her, was the prince of Lilith, and after he saw her skill he advised her to visit the Designer’s Tea Party in Wintermount. [12]

Nikki and her friends attended the show ‘Candy Witch and Star Sea’, performed by the December Troupe in Cicia’s theater. While she was there, the dress Star Sea was stolen, [13] and Nikki helped to recover the dress and apprehend the thief. [14] Nikki returned it to the lead actress, Sofia, who thanked Nikki and commended her on her styling skills.

Upon Royce’s suggestion, Nikki and her friends headed to Wintermount for the Designer’s Tea Party. They walked around before it started and met Lunar again, and Nikki agreed to be the stylist for her designs. [15] They also met a girl named Bai Jinjin, who looks just like Nikki, and her boyfriend Zhong Lizi. [16] After a confrontation with an assassin, Nikki and her friends found out that Bai Jinjin and Zhong Lizi eloped, and that Bai Jinjin ran away from her father. The couple left the Tea Party but promised to see Nikki again. [17]

While at the Tea Party, Nikki was approached by Kimi, the heiress of the Apple Federation Apparel Group. Kimi had noticed her natural skill at being a stylist and gave her styling advice, encouraging her to go to Cloud Empire to refine her skill. [18]

Nikki and her friends passed through the Flower Field, an ancient and beautiful area full of illusions, on their way to Cloud. Nikki met a boy named Fu Su as well as the «mirror version» of many of her friends as they traveled towards the legendary Ancient Pavilion to meet the Ancient Pavilion Designer. Once they reached the top, they discovered that the Designer died several years ago, and that Fu Su, his apprentice, has been staying in the pavilion since. However, Fu Su tells Nikki that her fresh talent inspired him to leave the Pavilion and travel around Miraland. [19]

Nikki and her friends reached Long Street, Cloud, and ran into Lunar again, as well as Bai Jinjin and Zhong Lizi. [20] [21] Nikki was surprised to see Bai Jinjin in Cloud, and unsurprisingly later found out that Bai Jinjin’s family was coming after them as they caught up in an inn. Nikki decided to switch places with Bai Jinjin while the other girl escaped, which Nikki could pull off due to her styling expertise and their similar appearances. [22] She was almost kidnapped even after admitting she wasn’t Bai Jinjin, but the owner of the inn, Lu Yinian, stepped in and warded them off. [23]

Nikki also met Nidhogg, the Prime Minister of Lilith, for the first time while on a cruise, who had also heard of her styling skills. [24]

Nikki and her friends headed to Lunar’s family shop, the Silk Shop, in Moonlit City, Cloud. Upon getting there they found out that Lunar may have been kidnapped, and that the Mayor of Moonlit City may be helping the Iron Rose steal designs and materials. [25]

She met Orlando, a government employee of Apple Federal, who helped them apprehend the Mayor. [26] However, they found out Lunar was safe the whole time and that the Mayor was only pretending to deceive the Iron Rose, without letting them steal anything valuable. The mayor also told Nikki that if she didn’t fulfill ‘the prophecy’, she could be stuck in Miraland forever. [27] The mayor added she was just joking, but suggested to Nikki that she could visit the Star Seer to learn more about the prophecy. [28]

Orlando advised Nikki to visit the Fantasy Styling Contest in Royal City, Lilith, because he believed the Iron Rose was planning something nefarious there. [28] Nikki enrolled in the contest and met the mysterious Fantasy Envoy [29] and a travelling swordswoman, Ace. [30]

Nikki participated in the group section of the Fantasy Styling Contest, with Kimi, Bobo, and Momo watching and supporting her from the audience. She passed through and proceeded to the finals with Ace and a mysterious woman named Sherry, a member of the Iron Rose. During the finals, the front row stood up and drew their swords; they were soldiers all along, and Nidhogg had staged a rebellion while trapping Royce inside the palace. Nikki frantically asked Ace what to do, and she and Ace escaped to safety. [31]

Nikki, Ace, Bobo, and Momo escaped to the palace garden [32] and found Royce and Neva, a member of the Lilith Royal Guard, though Queen Nanari had gone missing. [33] They couldn’t leave the castle, but they had a casket with the spirit of Lilith that they could use to send messages if they passed the styling battles. Nikki passed the battles and they managed to use the spirit to command the royal force and suppress the rebels. The casket started to spell out words, and told them that something called the Miracle Scroll was waiting in the Wasteland for the Chosen One, which they took to mean Nikki. [34]

Nikki and her friends took a train to the Wasteland to find the Miracle Scroll and, once there, came across a boy named Tuda, the son of the Pota tribe’s chief. However, he tells them a woman called Ransa had drugged the chief and taken over. [35] Nikki helped Tuda stand up to Ransa, and Nikki beat her in a styling battle for him. [36] After the Chief woke up, they found out Ransa was part of the Iron Rose. [37]

Right before Nikki and her friends were about to reach the entrance of the forest that held the Miracle Scroll, they received word from Amphithea News that Nidhogg was attacking Cloud City, where Lunar was. [38] Nikki and her friends made the difficult decision to leave the Wasteland, going first to Rosset City on a train to try and find a way to Cloud City. Unfortunately, the rail lines had been shut down, but Nikki ran across Zhong Lizi who let them onto a military train. [39]

Nikki headed into Cloud City with the help of an Apple journalist named Cali by going through a sewer. [40] They arrived to see Lunar and Nidhogg facing off in a duel, and Nidhogg stabbed Lunar. [41] Nikki, filled with despair, didn’t know what to do, but Bobo explained the existence of a blood curse that meant Nidhogg was weakened after committing an act of violence. Nikki got up and began to battle Nidhogg, but she could not win because he had a skill that reduced her styling score at the last minute. [42]

Nikki, her friends, and the Iron Rose flew to Lor River City, Cloud. While in the palace of the neglectful and lazy General Huo, Nikki met Zhong Lizi and Zhu Ruosheng, the military adviser. She found out from them that there was an old friend waiting for them in the woods, and Nikki, Bobo, and Momo headed out in the night. [45]

They met up with Kimi and Orlando, and found out that Apple Federal had joined forces with Nidhogg’s League Tyr against Cloud, and that Joe and Kimi’s father were captured. [46] Nikki tried to convince Orlando to stay via styling battle, but he beat her and leaves, dedicated to Apple. [47] Nikki and Kimi discussed their next move, and they decided to go to Apple Federal in order to investigate what happened to the Apple Federation Apparel Group. [48]

After arriving in Welton, Nikki and her friends learned about the White Blossom Banquet, where Reid and Charles planned to showcase the dress Kimi’s father made for her mother, the White Blossom. [49] Kimi, believing the banquet could have something to do with her father’s kidnappers, convinced Joe to get them invitations and invited Nikki to go with her while she’s in disguise. [50]

At the banquet, Nikki helped drive up the prices of the auction items [51] and provided support for Kimi. [52] Reid invited Kimi to dance, and she had no choice but to accept his offer. [51] Nikki watched as Kimi’s hairband fell out, compromising her disguise, and Reid kissed Kimi in front of everybody. The next thing she knew, there was a blackout and when the lights came back on, the White Blossom was gone. [53]

Nikki and her friends tried to apprehend the person they believed was the thief, who, unbeknownst to them, is actually Sofia stealing the White Blossom back. Sofia used a special score-switching skill on them, and even when Nikki blocked the skill, Sofia got away, much to their dismay. [53]

The police came to question the partygoers at the banquet, but the White Blossom did not turn up, [54] and Nikki accompanied Kimi out to find Joe and see if they could learn more about the situation. [55] After spotting a helicopter, Nikki and her friends met up with Orlando and Sofia, who revealed the truth, spiraling into a series of realizations including the fact that Hiber was the true thief, Reid had betrayed Kimi, and Kimi’s father had not been kidnapped at all. After a heated confrontation that resulted in the death of Charles, Nikki and her friends decided to accompany Kimi to Losol to find her father. [56]

They accompanied Orlando on a quick stop to a League Tyr outpost outside of the city, but things went south when the League Tyr officer Ozeca and the assassin Shade entered. [57] Nikki tried to escape with the White Blossom dress, but Bobo knocked over some racks, alerting them to their presence. Nikki only escaped because of Shade’s unwillingness to shoot them, and shaken, she and the others went to a Losol church to stay safe. [58] While they were there, Bobo left during the night, to Nikki’s surprise the next morning. [59]

Unfortunately, Nikki, Kimi, and Momo were drugged while they were at the church, and when they woke up they and the White Blossom were on a plane programmed to fly to the North Kingdom. [60] [61] They arrived, and Kimi decided to hand White Blossom over to Nidhogg in return for being brought back safely, but Nikki refused to let her give it up. Nidhogg took out his sword and nearly killed Nikki, but she was saved by Louie at the last minute, and was pulled away by Ace and Debbie. [62]

It is okay to add estimated costs in the comments, as long as they are not a part of the article. However, misleading or blatantly incorrect information will be deleted as to not spread misinformation.

Calculated costs for suits with only one straightforward way to obtain them (such as Association Store or Reconstruction suits) can be included on suit pages under Trivia, but will not necessarily be added to any page in particular.

Minor breaking of format or rules is generally corrected in an edit, with the edit description explaining the format. Persistent breaking of format by a user will result in a message.

Spamming and vandalism will result in a message first (for users with accounts) and a ban if the behavior continues, depending on the severity.

Events

The Events icon as it appears in-game.

Events are special updates that provide special items and rewards, but they are only available for a certain period of time. In Love Nikki, events come frequently and multiple events occurring at the same time is not uncommon. These types of events can have different goals, such as recharging, using stamina, making outfits in special maps, and etc.

Mass Find and Replace in AutoWikiBrowser (AWB)

I wanted to write this find and replace tutorial because, before a few days ago, I didn’t know how to do this. And while it’s something you can just sort of guess at how to do, it’s not the sort of thing you’ll find easily on Google.

Lifetime suits are some of the hardest suits to craft in-game. Hence their other popular name: Hell suits. Some of them are packed with makeup, poses, new skin colors, beautiful dresses, stunning accessories, tons of movable ornaments, and more. However, some of them are so downright sucky you have to wonder why anyone would even try to get them. So I thought I’d share some of my thoughts on each of the lifetime/hell suits.

About creating wardrobe items pages

I’ve been wondering for a while what is the wikis position regarding the creation of wardrobe items pages that are missing. I try to help with all items that I own in-game, be it creating the page with all of its content, be it just adding an image or piece of missing info.

But would it be interesting for me to work on items I don’t own but can gather the details from the game and/or other websites? I would be able to create the page and everything, but the image and maybe the appearance details would be missing.

New home banner

The other day in Discord I brought up the idea of updating the banner on the home page. I like the one we have right now, but it was made in 2017, it’s a little low-quality/jpeggy, and tbh I think it could be fun if we updated it with more recent beloved suits. Hello all! If you are an editor here, or even if you’re not and you’re just a lost reader who happened to find this blog post, you may have noticed that our wiki looks a bit different now. The reminder, which you may have clicked away on instinct, gave some information about that change, which you can read more about here.

The «too long, didn’t read» story is that FANDOM (the company that supports all these sites) made the decision to stop using an old and defunct editor and instead upgraded to a more modern one with more capabilities. I tried to be faithful to the description but at some point I just started to diverge and missed the opportunity to use the moonlight motif derp. The Stylist Association is located beneath the Mystery House. It gets unlocked after completing Stage V1: 3-2 Lead Singer: Kaja (2) (Maiden). Folders

In order to organize their own wardrobe items, players can create Folders, which allow for custom groupings of items that can be used later in Free Dressing, Competition, Starry Corridor, Around the World, stages, and anywhere that allows for dress-up.

You can make a folder based on whatever criteria you’d like; however, you also must manually add new clothing to the folder after gaining it.

Creating folders [ ]

Folders can be created in the Wardrobe section of the game, which is always the first button on the right. The Folder feature can be accessed by pressing the pink Folder button on the top left of that screen. Folder names must be between 1 and 5 characters.

Players have two folders by default, and can buy more folders for the following prices:

You cannot have more than nine folders.

Adding and removing items [ ]

At the Wardrobe section of the game, you can add and remove items from your folders by selecting a folder, then choosing «Add». This will give you a list of every single item you own, organized by item type and item number. You can also search items and filter by tags and attributes in order to find the item you’re looking for.

Tap an item to select it and add it to the folder. Once you are done choosing items to add, you must click the green «Done» button. Make sure not to click the Tools or Back buttons, as these will take you away from the screen and erase your progress.

You can remove items by choosing «Remove», which shows a list of every item you already have in your folder. Tap the items you want to remove and press the green «Done» button.

You can only add and remove items from the Wardrobe section, not in Free Dressing. You cannot preview the item while adding it, you can only see the icon. You also cannot add items you don’t own to a folder.

Using folders [ ]

While in dress-up mode, before choosing a category of item (like Hair, Dress, Accessory, etc), tap «See all» at the top of the right-hand menu. There, you can select one of your folders.

After selecting a folder, only the items within that folder will appear. They will still be organized by Hair, Dress, etc, and you can filter them and search within them while dressing up. For example, you can find all Elegant items in a folder while dressing up.

Event Types

Events in Love Nikki come in many different formats, which affect how the player wins event currency and clothes.

Event Format [ ]

Stages [ ]

In events with Stages, the player must pass styling battles against NPCs or answer quiz questions in order to gain event currency. Typically, there is also a story in these events and they have their own special map. A list of special maps can be found here.

Player versus Player [ ]

In Player versus Player events, the player must compete styling battles against other players in order to win event currency. The other players are not necessarily online at the time of battle; the game simply uses their preset outfit. This is commonly seen in a 2 versus 2 format.

Stamina Expenditure [ ]

In Stamina Expenditure events, the player gains event currency by completing Journey stages, which require Stamina . Stamina packs are typically available for purchase in the User’s Shop for .

Pavilion [ ]

In Pavilion events, the player must draw from a pavilion using in order to gain the clothing. Typically the first draw is discounted by 50%. There is usually no event currency involved. However, some pavilions offer event currency instead of duplicate items, which can then be exchanged for other items or currency.

Pick 1 From 2 [ ]

In Pick 1 From 2 events, the player must pick one outfit from two displayed that best fits the theme given. Picking correctly will give the player more event currency. [1]

Packing [ ]

In Packing events, the player must complete Journey stages in order to gain currency, which is then «packed» into another currency, which determines the clothing the player gets. The amount of attempts given to «pack» each day is limited. [2] [3]

Quests [ ]

In Quest events, the player must complete a series of quests related to the game. They may be awarded pieces of the suit directly, or they may earn the entire suit after finishing all the quests. These events are generally free (see Welfare events below).

Detective [ ]

In Detective events, the player must investigate crime scenes, speak with witnesses, and determine which of the suspects committed the crime.

Outfit Assembly [ ]

In Outfit Assembly events, the player must assemble a pre-determined outfit based on a theme. They can pick from three individual clothing items for each clothing slot. Picking correctly will award more event currency.

Limited Wardrobe [ ]

In Limited Wardrobe events, the player is given a random assortment of any clothing in the game, not necessarily their own, and must complete consecutive styling battles without reusing clothes. These events have also been given the unofficial nickname of «tower events».

Faction [ ]

In Faction events, the player can choose between two factions corresponding to NPCs in the game. The faction chosen will determine which suit will be tiered (and less expensive), while the player will be able to choose which parts they want from the other faction’s suit. There will be three different types of tasks: a styling battle, a quiz, and a stage where the player has to give the game an item. Completing certain amounts of these tasks will allow the player to obtain the tiered suit, and they will get currency for the other suit at the same time.

Blind Box [ ]

In Blind Box events, items in a suit are divided into 3 tiers of «boxes». Players pass styling battles, answer quizzes, and submit requested clothing items in order to gain enough event currency to open a «box». The «box» contains a random clothing item from any of the event suits; however players can choose to improve the drop rate for one of the suits. Opening a specified amount of «boxes» is required to unlock the next tier of «boxes».

Hell Event [ ]

Hell Events is a category that describes a wide variety of events. Historically, hell events require the user to spend to gain event currency, along with materials like , , and . At certain milestones, the player is given either a full suit or parts of a suit, depending on the event. They come with free tries, and only return in the same format they originally came in rather than returning for the player to craft. [4] [5]

However, newer «hell events» have come in other formats without milestones, such as pavilions. Though they may fit more closely into another category on this page, all Story Suit events are still classified as «hell events».

Gifty [ ]

Gifty events require the player to go around and complete various tasks relating to Giftys, which can be found on various chapters of the Journey maps.

Other [ ]

Any event that does not fit into the above categories is simply classified as «Other».

Clothing Obtainment [ ]

Some events allow the player to choose which items from the suit they gain, and some events only give the clothing in a set order, with the player unlocking clothing at certain «tiers». They are categorized into Choice and Tiered events.

Events such as Pavilions, which are random, are neither choice nor tiered. Events such as Faction events are considered both choice and tiered because one suit has tiers while one suit allows the player to choose freely. However, some event formats can be found in either choice or tiered format.

Other Modifiers [ ]

Ranking [ ]

In Ranking events, ranking in the leaderboard gives extra rewards. Suits that were originally ranking rewards are assumed to not return even if the other suits in the event do, and a ranking reward has never returned.

Crafting [ ]

In Crafting events, the player must craft the clothing during the event, rather than simply be awarded it by the game.

Welfare [ ]
