“See You In My 19th Life” is a romance drama about a woman who can remember her past lives and must use them to achieve a successful romance in her 19th life.

This drama is adapted from the webtoon “See You In My 19th Life” (이번 생도 잘 부탁해 in Korean) written by Lee Hye (이혜).

Shin HaeSun and Ahn BoHyun are the leads of the drama.

Award-winning actress Shin HaeSun has starred in the dramas “Mr. Queen”, “ Angel’s Last Mission: Love”, “Hymn of Death”, and “Still 17.”

Model and actor Ahn BoHyun has had major roles in the dramas “Undercover”, “Military Prosecutor Doberman”, “Kairos”, and “Yumi’s Cells.”

Lee NaJung who also worked on the dramas “Fight For My Way” and “Mine” will be directing this drama adaption.

The drama filming started on June 15.

A person who can remember her past lives. In her 18th life, a 12-year-old Ju-won Yun fell in love with a 9-year-old Seo-ha Mun, and the two promised to marry when they are older. However, her life tragically ended in a car accident while on the way to a theme park with Seo-ha. She wished to see and remember Seo-ha again and was shortly after reborn as Ji-eum Ban.

When a 9-year-old Ji-eum regained her memories, she started using her life experience to excel in school and eventually enter the company of Seo-ha’s father. When a 23-year-old Ji-eum hears that Seo-ha has come back to Korea, she immediately asks for a transfer to Seo-ha’s new workplace.

Seo-ha Mun

Debut: Chapter 1

The son of the Mi Group’s chairman. When Seo-ha was nine, Seo-ha’s mother, Hyeonseong, brought her friend, Yu-seon’s, daughter Ju-won to his home to play with him. While he initially didn’t like Ju-won, he quickly fell in love with her. After his sick mother passed away, he eventually asked Ju-won to marry him and she accepted. However, on his tenth birthday, while on their way to a theme park, he and Ju-won were involved in a car accident which damaged his hearing. Ju-won didn’t survive the accident.

While Seo-ha eventually went abroad and worked in Germany, he returns at the start of the story to act as the managing director of the Mi Hotel, the hotel his mother used to manage. That is when he meets Ji-eum Ban, who has turned his life upside down.

So the FL remembers her past life every time she dies to the point that she is no longer interested in love. Disturbingly she easily falls in love with a guy who doesn’t even have a unique personality and acts like a typical kid his age would. Fast forward to her next life she meets the ML again this time with a huge age gap and falls for him again after seeing him crying like a baby and acting pathetic. Makes Absolutely no sense.

This series would be a lot more enjoyable if the romance part was more believable and the ML was slightly less pathetic

The story starts with the ML being coward and having narcissistic issues with meeting a girl who has lived 18 lives and falling for her same for the girl but she died while protecting him from an accident.
Since he is a pathetic coward since start he can’t do anything just cries and wollows in utter crybaby despair not even meeting her family and hiding in another country.
Well the girl reborns again it’s her 19th life and tries to find the pathetic coward of a boy who is still hiding in another country.
She worked her way from her poor life with poverish family by kicking her way up the ladder just met him but what does he do he didn’t even have will to work and have developed some trauma like a coward leaving all the work to his friend.
She meets him in this life and gives him hints who is she and what does he promised her in her past life but coward just hids and when he finally recognises his feelings for her well what will you expect he kisses her and then turns her down just coz he is to much of coward to date anyone and asked her time to leave is pathetic self be vanish. To boring for my taste no character depth bad plot just a recipe for trash Manhwa.

Reincarnation and remembering past lives are a common trope, but See You in My 19th Life deals with it uniquely well. Most importantly, the protagonist is refreshingly confident and straightforward, as befits someone with a plethora of life experience. More generally, all the characters in this story have (for a story) above-average maturity and ability to deal with emotions and conflicts, which makes their interactions a rare delight.

Added later: This story stays decent, but gets a bit worse later on. In particular, it makes frequent use of characters just happening to overhear secrets, which is a trope I dislike.
