Сооснователи NtechLab, специализирующейся на алгоритмах интеллектуальной видеоаналитики, Александр Кабаков и Артем Кухаренко ушли из руководства компании. Об этом CNews сообщили источники внутри компании и подтвердили оба сооснователя.
Это произошло несколько месяцев назад, но подробности ухода стали известны только сейчас.
В 2018 г. компания NtechLab продала миноритарный пакет фонду Рубена Варданяна и дочерней компании «Ростеха» «РТ-развитие бизнеса». В 2020 г., когда инвесторами NtechLab стали также эмиратский инвестфонд Mubadala и Российский фонд прямых инвестиций (РФПИ), основатели потеряли контрольный пакет в компании. В 2021 г. после очередного инвест-раунда доли основателей в компании размылись и стали меньше размера блокирующего пакета.
В результате в декабре 2021 г. сооснователь компании Александр Кабаков оставил совет директоров NtechLab. Вскоре после него организацию покинул глава лаборатории нейронных сетей Артем Кухаренко. Согласно данным из кипрского реестра, место Кабакова в совете директоров компании занял руководитель департамента планирования, анализа и стратегии УК «Альфа-капитал» Алексей Панюшкин.
По словам источника внутри компании, Кабаков и Кухаренко выступали за развитие международных проектов, но инвесторы придерживались мнения о том, что компания должна совмещать два направления деятельности — российское и зарубежное.
Специфика бизнеса NtechLab
NtechLab специализируется на распознавании лиц, эмоций и силуэтов людей. Широкую известность компания получила в 2015 г., когда ее команда вошла в пятерку финалистов конкурса по распознаванию лиц на фотографиях Megaface, организованного Вашингтонским университетом. Алгоритм NtechLab одержал победу в двух заданиях из четырех, опередив конкурента, который создали разработчики Google.
Самый известный продукт компании — технология распознавания лиц FindFace, который наряду с алгоритмами компаний VisionLabs и Tevian используется в рамках мультивендорной системы видеоаналитики Департамента информационных технологий правительства Москвы (ДИТ). В 2021 г. NtechLab выиграла конкурс алгоритмов распознавания лиц Face Recognition Vendor Test (FRVT) Национального института стандартов и технологий Министерства торговли США (NIST). По итогам семи независимых тестов алгоритм российской компании признали лучшим в мире.

Англоязычные и италоязычные информационные ресурсы о «Милане» и об итальянском футболе в целом сегодня завалены новостями о том, что молдавский бизнесмен Александр Жуков заинтересован в приобретении «Милана».
Всё дело в том, что в сегодняшнем пресс-релизе, опубликованном Феличе Раймондо сообщается, что юридические фирмы, которыми управляют юристы Феличе Раймондо, Джанлука Фрейт и доктор Мауро Гальярди, получили мандат на консультирование компании World Lab Technologies Inc., возглавляемой молдавским бизнесменом и инвестором Александром Жуковым. Консультирование якобы должно осуществляться по вопросам, касающимся возможного приобретения «Милана».
World Lab Technologies на своём сайте объявила об интересе к приобретению клуба ещё в августе прошлого года, но этого никто не заметил. Упоминаний в СМИ об этом не найдено.
Как сообщается на официальном сайте WLT, компания «занимается финансированием исследований и разработкой новых технологий в быстрорастущих областях производства возобновляемой энергии, решений для хранения энергии, устойчивой мобильности, логистики и инфраструктурных проектов».
У сайта есть версии на английском, молдавском и русском языке, однако невооруженным глазом видно, что при написании постов использовался гугл-переводчик.
Александр Жуков — пустышка?
Если вы попытаетесь найти в Интернете информацию о данном персонаже, то у вас мало что получится: есть несколько относительно известных россиян с таким именем и фамилией, а вот найти информацию о таинственном бизнесмене из Молдовы сложно.
Сайт World Lab Technologies (как и все профили Жукова в соцсетях) был создан в августе 2020 года.
Сайт и профили в соцсетях начали работу с громких заявлений о том, что Жуков готов делать многомиллиардные инвестиции в приобретение американского подразделения сервиса TikTok. Также в августе на сайте сообщалось, что он интересуется покупкой «Милана», баскетбольного клуба «Вашингтон Уизардс» и «Вашингтон» (клуб по американскому футболу).
На деле же, человек у которого должны быть миллиарды долларов на счету, за полгода не набрал хотя бы одну тысячу подписчиков ни в одном из своих профилей в соцсетях, а упоминаний до 2020 года о нём не найти. Немного странно для миллиардера, не находите?
К этому стоит добавить, что все статьи о Жукове на сторонних ресурсах выглядят заказными: несколько сайтов в один день публиковали информацию об абсолютно неизвестном человеке, который хочет приобрести большую часть TikTok’a и говорит о 50-миллиардных активах.
На сайте World Lab Technologies новости об интересе к приобретению «Милана», «Вашингтон Уизардс» и «Вашингтона» появились в один день (18 августа 2020 года), что только усиливает сомнения. Одна из серий новостей об интересе к приобретению ТикТока тоже появилась на сайте WLT в один день (20 августа 2020 года). Объявлений о заключении каких-либо сделок со стороны WLT с августа по сегодняшний день так и не поступило.
На сайте Forbes India опубликована статья об интересе Жукова к Tiktok, при этом в конце статьи указано, что ни один журналист издания не принимал участия в её создании.
У себя же в Instagram Жуков делает вид, что попал на обложку одного из выпусков журнала, при этом фигура персонажа, судя по всему, неаккуратно вырезана в графическом редакторе (присмотритесь к ушам).
Найти каких-либо данных о Жукове не удалось, так же как и о компании World Lab Technologies. Единственное, что удалось выяснить: компания с таким названием была зарегистрирована в США в штате Вайоминг 22 мая 2020 года.
Даже про бывшего владельца «Милана» Юнхуна Ли, который до сих пор остаётся загадочным персонажем, было больше информации.
Исходя из вышеперечисленной информации можно сделать вывод, что человека с таким ФИО и внешностью может и вовсе не существовать: все фотографии Жукова выглядят так, словно куплены на фотостоке, а видео с его участием и вовсе не удалось найти. Если вдруг персонаж Александра Жукова и существует, то маловероятно, что у него есть деньги для таких инвестиций. Возможно, кто-то пытается получить известность с целью проведения сомнительных афер в будущем.

Он является крупным инвестором, основателем и генеральным директором World Lab Technologies, Inc, занимающейся финансированием исследований и разработкой новых технологий в быстрорастущих областях возобновляемой энергетики, хранения энергии и устойчивой мобильности, а также в сегменте социальных сетей.
После подписания Дональдом Трампом указа о запрете любых сделок с китайской компанией ByteDance – владельцем популярной социальной сети TikTok многие компании, в том числе World Lab Technologies, Inc., проявили интерес к приобретению американской платформы социальных сетей.
Главными заинтересованными лицами в покупке у ByteDance этой популярной видеоплатформы являются транснациональная компания Microsoft и World Lab Technologies, Inc.
Дональд Трамп заявляет, что поддержит сделку только в том случае, если американская казна получит “значительную часть” ее стоимости. При этом президент США предупредил, что намерен запретить соцсеть с 15 сентября.
Артём Кухаренко, основатель компании NTechLab — о распознавании лиц, потенциале нейросетей и бизнесе
Про NTechLab все услышали в тот момент, когда демонстратор идентификационного алгоритма FindFace стал доступен в Сети — людей шокировало, что вот так просто, несколькими кликами, можно по фотографии определить сетевые координаты чуть ли не любого человека: прохожего, пассажира напротив и так далее.
Хотя путь Артёма Кухаренко по пути распознавания лиц начался задолго до этого, а наиболее значительно точкой, на самом деле, была победа в конкурсе Вашингтонского университета MegaFace — вчера компания анонсировала свой облачный SaaS-продукт FindFace.pro, которому уже сейчас сулят большое будущее.
Мы поговорили с Артёмом про алгоритмы и бизнес, а также перспективы технологий умного распознания объектов.
Артем Кухаренко получил высшее образование в МГУ им. М.В. Ломоносова, где окончил факультет вычислительной математики и кибернетики. Студентом работал в Лаборатории компьютерной графики и мультимедиа МГУ.
2013 — начал сотрудничать с лабораторией e-Lab американского университета Purdue.
2014 — Артем Кухаренко стал сотрудником Московского исследовательского центра Samsung. В это же время выступил как автор ряда научных статей по тематике нейронных сетей.
То, чем вы занимаетесь, не похоже на большинство стартапов. Что стало триггером к тому, чтобы начать делать этот проект?
Там вообще много факторов. У меня в МГУ был диплом по распознаванию лиц. В то время мы только начинали изучать нейронные сети и в основном применяли так называемые hand-crufted features – алгоритмы, например, SVM поверх LBP или HoG дескрипторов, которые возникли еще до нейронных сетей.
Потом я работал в разных компаниях. В них тогда уже начали активно применять нейронные сети. Мы поняли, что с помощью нейронных сетей можно улучшить качество работы в различных областях.
В свободное от работы время я разработал приложение, которое распознает породы собак и показал его друзьям. Они познакомили меня с инвесторами. Вместе мы придумали несколько вариантов применения технологии и поняли как на этом заработать деньги. В результате пришли к распознаванию лиц.
Кто ваши инвесторы?
Это частные лица. Теперь один из них стал сооснователем. Другие тоже близки к этому. Сейчас они уделяют проекту 25-50% своего времени.
Тогда, наверное, правильнее будет назвать их партнерами?
Да. Кроме того, подобралась классная команда инженеров-разработчиков. Изначально мы занимались разработкой втроем. Как раз тогда нам удалось придумать и реализовать алгоритм распознавания лиц, который победил на конкурсе The MegaFace Benchmark. Его проводил Вашингтонский университет. Нужно было распознавать лица в базе из 1 миллиона человек. Ранее подобные конкурсы проводились по небольшим базам, а в MegaFace все было приближено к реальным условиям.
Естественно участвовало более 100 команд со всего мира. И мы тоже отправили свой алгоритм – просто чтобы понять на каком этапе развития мы находимся. И вдруг заняли первое место. С этого момента появился очень большой интерес со стороны клиентов, инвесторов, прессы. И мы начали активно разрабатывать b2b-продукты.
FindFace появился чуть позже?
Да. Изначально мы делали поисковый движок, чтобы искать по большим массивам фотографий (до 1 миллиарда). Возможно, именно поэтому мы и заняли первое место. Точность поиска – первый важный критерий. А второй – скорость поиска. Если алгоритм будет искать за полчаса или даже за минуту, это никому особо не интересно.
Насколько вы вообще задумывались о приватности как таковой? Все уже давным-давно есть в интернете. Там нет людей, которые профессионально занимаются шпионажем. Отдавая свои фотографии Facebook, Google, VK, мы должны понимать, что в какой-то момент они будут осуществлять поиск по этим фотографиям. Какое у тебя мнение о негативных последствиях реализации алгоритмов распознавания?
Когда мы создавали алгоритм, нам, инженерам, было просто интересно сделать его эффективным. И только потом мы начали задумываться о том как правильно его применять и выпускать в виде продуктов для широкой аудитории. Но мы решили, что, когда появляются мощные технологии, люди должны о них знать. Если бы мы отдали технологию только спецслужбам, которые бы ее использовали, и никто бы о ней не знал, – это одно. А мы выложили ее в открытое пользование – это другое. Люди про нее знают и делают выводы, что выкладывать в сети, а что – нет.
Общественное мнение подстроится само, зная о существовании этой вещи.
Тем не менее, нам приходило много благодарственных писем из МВД, полиции и тд.
Наблюдая за твоим профилем в Facebook, я заметил, что после появления FindFace у тебя сменились фотографии, общий фон – случился такой «звездный час». После MegaFace пришло много заказов, клиентов. Компания начинает расти серьезными темпами или существуют структурные препятствия на пути к коммерциализации данных решений? Какие планы по поводу бизнеса?
У нас растет все очень быстро по всем направлениям. В компании около 25 человек. До нового года будет порядка 30. Нужно быстро набрать команду, «заскейлиться». Кажется, мы хорошо справляемся с этим. У нас компания разделена на три логических составляющих – бизнес-подразделение, продуктовая команда (делает конечный продукт) и лаборатория (улучшает алгоритмы, качество поиска и тд).
Сейчас у нас более 500 заявок от клиентов. В какой-то момент мы столкнулись с тем, что заказов очень много, а как такового продукта для бизнеса нет.
В каком виде это может существовать на рынке? SaaS, Black box serverside-приложение, мобильное приложение?
FindFace – это просто демонстрация нашего алгоритма. На нем деньги мы зарабатывать не планируем. Сейчас мы запускаем облачный сервис FindFace Cloud API (SaaS), он позволяет загружать фотографию и осуществлять по ней поиск.
18 октября компания NTechLab представила решение для бизнеса — продукт FindFace.Pro.
Продукт позволяет интегрировать технологии для распознавания лиц со сторонними приложениями через «облако», говорится в описании сервиса. С его помощью можно обнаруживать лица на снимках, идентифицировать и формировать базу для дальнейшего использования.
Сервис востребован во многих индустриях – от социальных сетей и сервисов для знакомств до ритейла и систем безопасности.
Это применимо в ритейле: например, есть магазин и база постоянных покупателей. Кроме того, технология находит применение в банковской сфере – подтверждение платежей по селфи, авторизация.
Есть всевозможное применение в области развлечений: например, поиск похожих людей. В дейтинг-сервисах это можно использовать для модерации фотографий, так как использование чужих фото – актуальная проблема для всех социальных сетей.
Вы были на CyberCrime – это тоже один из примеров использования.
Да. Еще был проект с Alfa Future People – там много фотографов. У них был чат-бот, который показывал пользователям фото со всех мероприятий, которые тот или иной человек посетил.
Второй наш продукт – это SDK. Библиотека написана на С++, она предоставляет механизмы для детектирования лиц, построения вектора признаков, базы и поиска в этой базе. Это интересно всевозможным интеграторам, которые в свои продукты будут встраивать SDK по лицензии.
Получается, что у нас есть SaaS, SDK, а также кастомные решения для крупных проектов.
Не так давно Facebook запустил сервис проверки видео на наличие дубликатов. Каждое видео проверяется с целью выявить выкладывал его сам правообладатель или нет. У них используется технология, аналогичная вашей?
Как я понимаю, они ищут полное соответствие. А мы находим по одной фотографии не ту же самую, а набор похожих. Это может сработать в борьбе с фейковыми аккаунтами. Мы сейчас как раз общаемся с несколькими крупными социальными сетями. Они хотят встроить наш алгоритм. У них как раз проблема с поиском по большим базам фотографий. А пока у них сидит «армия» модераторов, которые это делают вручную.
Вашим целевым потребителем является государство. Им эти продукты необходимы больше всех. Но никакой политики пока не случилось с вами? Не возникнет ли проблемы, если вы будете продавать свои продукты не только в России, но и в США например?
Пока нет. У нас чисто рыночная история. Нет никаких предпочтений. Более того, мы строим глобальную компанию. Мы сделали SaaS как раз для этого. Его проще продавать во всем мире.
Что будет с NTechLab к 2020 году? Сколько будет сотрудников? Будет ли ваш офис только в Москве, или вы откроете штаб-квартиру где-нибудь в штатах?
Офис в штатах у нас будет до конца 2016 года. У нас есть план – к 2020 году встроить наш алгоритм во все камеры.
Во все видео и фотокамеры, которые выпускаются коммерчески?
Да. Но возможно, мы еще будем заниматься другими задачами: например, применение deep learning в медицине.
Это то, что сейчас Watson делает? Диагностика в основном, да?
Да. Медицина – первое, что приходит на ум. Но на следующий год нам хватит текущих задач, распознавание эмоций, пола и тд.
Как вы планируете реализовать распознавание эмоций? Тоже проводить обучение: грустный человек / веселый человек?
Да. У нас оно уже идет. Мы сейчас тестируем эту фичу. Возможно, скоро в SaaS она появится. Понятно, что там не будет такого, как в сериале Lie to me. Никакой магии не будет, но на уровне человека, который не пытается скрыть эмоции, распознавание будет происходить.
Я знаю, что технологии распознавания лиц до появления нейронных сетей строились на фиксации, определения положения некоторых точек на лице человека. Как это реализовано у вас?
Мы не пытаемся находить какие-то точки. Нейросеть получает на вход лицо целиком и правильные ответы по распознаванию: «Это Вася, это Петя, это Маша». В процессе обучения на последнем слое формируется вектор признаков, который содержит всю информацию о лице. На промежуточных слоях вычисляются важные по мнению нейронной сети признаки.
Если правильно задать структуру, на последнем слое у нас получается вектор признаков из 80 чисел.
То есть, 80 параметров, определяющих уникальность некоторого лица?
Да, 80 чисел – это менее половины килобайта. Поэтому у нас эффективно получается делать поиск по большим базам и экономично расходовать память на хранение признаков.
Какие мощности нужны для этого?
Когда сеть обучена, она может эффективно работать на обычном компьютере. Например, FindFace работает на пяти серверах Amazon EC2 – причем, не на топовых машинах. Система держит 50 запросов в секунду при поиске по базе в 250 миллионов фотографий.
А если нам нужно ее обучить?
Обучаем мы ее на GPU, потому что это лучше всего подходит для обучения нейросетей. Одно обучение на 20 миллионах фотографий идет в среднем месяц в нашем случае. Но у нас тут еще стоят сервера, на которых параллельно идет порядка 20 экспериментов.

Насколько сложнее работать с видео, чем с фото?
Видео от фотографии отличается только количество кадров. Поэтому при работе с видео увеличиваются требования к скорости алгоритма. С точки зрения обучения ничего не меняется.
SaaS, который вы запускаете, позволит работать с видео?
Нет, но SDK работает с видео. Слать в облако весь поток видео выглядит не очень разумно. Там будет модуль с детектором лиц. Поэтому для SaaS нужно выбирать кадры и по отдельности отправлять их в облако.
Насколько дорого стоит разработка подобных программных решений? Насколько цена продукта высока для потребителя?
Значит, это массовый продукт?
Конечно. То есть для какого-то event’a или магазина это будет стоить порядка нескольких сотен долларов в месяц. Если есть крупные индивидуальные проекты, цена будет другой.
Еще про технологии. В основе SaaS и SDK лежит один и тот же алгоритм. SDK написан на С++. Понятно почему: работает быстро и надежно. Какие еще языки, технологии вы используете?
Для обучения мы используем стандартные библиотеки – Caffe, Theano, Torch7. Пишем на Python, C++ и платформа Cuda. С помощью Cuda на GPU обучение проходит гораздо быстрее. Python нам нужен в основном для экспериментов, чтобы можно было что-то написать, попробовать. Облако тоже написано на нем, потому что это удобнее.
Какие требования вы предъявляете к программистам в R&D?
Здесь важнее не языки и технологии, а знание алгоритмов, в общем, требования к математической подготовке. Конечно, нужны какие-то знания в области machine learning и С-подобных языков.
Если говорить про продуктовую команду, то там, конечно же, нужен С++.

Вопрос про базы данных. Где это все хранится?
Если мы говорим про поисковый индекс, это наша разработка. Она позволяет меньше чем за секунду искать в больших базах данных. Это является частью продукта.
Если говорить про хранение информации о пользователях, большого значения база данных тут не имеет. Мы используем Mongo. Но там нет ничего связанного с поиском.
Много людей начали деньги предлагать после того, как вы стали известны?
Много, но мы пока еще ни у кого не взяли деньги. В ближайшее время мы закроем раунд.
Ты не так давно ездил в США. Это была твоя первая поездка?
Большой ли был интерес непосредственно к тебе? С кем ты общался? Правильно ли я понимаю, что ты там совмещал и отдых, и бизнес?
Мы ездили весной. Недавно мои партнеры ездили в США без меня. Интерес огромный: мы пообщались и с инвесторами, и с клиентами. С некоторыми из них у нас хорошие отношения, мы работаем, отправили им SDK.
С разработчиками тебе удалось пообщаться? Кого-то пригласить на работу?
Нет. Но у нас вся разработка сейчас в России, и в этом есть много плюсов, в частности, экономических. Мы будем открывать офисы в Долине, а через какое-то время – в Европе.

Когда наша компания только начала расти, была дикая суматоха. Не было даже времени подумать о том, кто мы и зачем вообще все это делаем. Сейчас уже есть сформированная концепция: мы знаем, что мы делаем и что вообще хотим делать. И для нас это пока стало великой идеей.
Когда бизнес задает себе вопрос «что же делать дальше? » —это значит, что у бизнеса не было великой идеи. То есть это бизнес на три года, на пять, чтобы заработать денег. Такие бизнесы тоже имеют право на жизнь. Но если мы говорим о тех, кто хочет что-то менять, нужно уметь ставить глобальные цели.
Чужой опыт — штука хорошая, но нужно не бояться делать ошибок. Где-то коэффициент жадности уменьшить, где-то понять, что сейчас отличное время, чтобы вообще что-то делать, и не бояться. Не знаю, чего многие боятся.
Нужно как можно больше анализировать ситуацию, которая происходит вокруг. И понимать, что сейчас отличное время, чтобы сделать что-то реально крутое и заработать на этом денег, сделать себе имя. У нас в стране не так много имен, которыми хочется гордиться.
Клиентоориентированность не подразумевает подхалимства, нужно быть просто честным с клиентом. Например, к тебе приходят и говорят: «я хочу сделать вечный двигатель», ты отвечаешь: «Чувак, это нереально» и все. Или другой пример. К тебе приходят с мизерной задачей, которую ты можешь сделать «в подарок», ничего не потеряв. Потом такие клиенты станут хорошими друзьями и партнерами и будут рекомендовать другим.

Fashion Tech Lab будет инвестировать в стартапы, которые специализируются на технологиях в индустрии моды: производстве новых материалов, наноразработках, изучении инновационных способов обработки волокон и тканей. «В первую очередь Fashion Tech Lab — это социально ответственное финансирование. Также мы будем связывать разработки ученых и инженеров с фэшн-индустрией и выступать как экспериментальная площадка, в рамках которой эти разработки будут применяться к одежде. Англоязычные и италоязычные информационные ресурсы о «Милане» и об итальянском футболе в целом сегодня завалены новостями о том, что молдавский бизнесмен Александр Жуков заинтересован в приобретении «Милана».
Всё дело в том, что в сегодняшнем пресс-релизе, опубликованном Феличе Раймондо сообщается, что юридические фирмы, которыми управляют юристы Феличе Раймондо, Джанлука Фрейт и доктор Мауро Гальярди, получили мандат на консультирование компании World Lab Technologies Inc., возглавляемой молдавским бизнесменом и инвестором Александром Жуковым. Консультирование якобы должно осуществляться по вопросам, касающимся возможного приобретения «Милана».
World Lab Technologies на своём сайте объявила об интересе к приобретению клуба ещё в августе прошлого года, но этого никто не заметил. Упоминаний в СМИ об этом не найдено.
Как сообщается на официальном сайте WLT, компания «занимается финансированием исследований и разработкой новых технологий в быстрорастущих областях производства возобновляемой энергии, решений для хранения энергии, устойчивой мобильности, логистики и инфраструктурных проектов».
У сайта есть версии на английском, молдавском и русском языке, однако невооруженным глазом видно, что при написании постов использовался гугл-переводчик.
Александр Жуков — пустышка?
Если вы попытаетесь найти в Интернете информацию о данном персонаже, то у вас мало что получится: есть несколько относительно известных россиян с таким именем и фамилией, а вот найти информацию о таинственном бизнесмене из Молдовы сложно.
Сайт World Lab Technologies (как и все профили Жукова в соцсетях) был создан в августе 2020 года.
Сайт и профили в соцсетях начали работу с громких заявлений о том, что Жуков готов делать многомиллиардные инвестиции в приобретение американского подразделения сервиса TikTok. Также в августе на сайте сообщалось, что он интересуется покупкой «Милана», баскетбольного клуба «Вашингтон Уизардс» и «Вашингтон» (клуб по американскому футболу).
На деле же, человек у которого должны быть миллиарды долларов на счету, за полгода не набрал хотя бы одну тысячу подписчиков ни в одном из своих профилей в соцсетях, а упоминаний до 2020 года о нём не найти. Немного странно для миллиардера, не находите?
К этому стоит добавить, что все статьи о Жукове на сторонних ресурсах выглядят заказными: несколько сайтов в один день публиковали информацию об абсолютно неизвестном человеке, который хочет приобрести большую часть TikTok’a и говорит о 50-миллиардных активах.
На сайте World Lab Technologies новости об интересе к приобретению «Милана», «Вашингтон Уизардс» и «Вашингтона» появились в один день (18 августа 2020 года), что только усиливает сомнения. Одна из серий новостей об интересе к приобретению ТикТока тоже появилась на сайте WLT в один день (20 августа 2020 года). Объявлений о заключении каких-либо сделок со стороны WLT с августа по сегодняшний день так и не поступило.
На сайте Forbes India опубликована статья об интересе Жукова к Tiktok, при этом в конце статьи указано, что ни один журналист издания не принимал участия в её создании.
У себя же в Instagram Жуков делает вид, что попал на обложку одного из выпусков журнала, при этом фигура персонажа, судя по всему, неаккуратно вырезана в графическом редакторе (присмотритесь к ушам).
Найти каких-либо данных о Жукове не удалось, так же как и о компании World Lab Technologies. Единственное, что удалось выяснить: компания с таким названием была зарегистрирована в США в штате Вайоминг 22 мая 2020 года.
Даже про бывшего владельца «Милана» Юнхуна Ли, который до сих пор остаётся загадочным персонажем, было больше информации.
Исходя из вышеперечисленной информации можно сделать вывод, что человека с таким ФИО и внешностью может и вовсе не существовать: все фотографии Жукова выглядят так, словно куплены на фотостоке, а видео с его участием и вовсе не удалось найти. Если вдруг персонаж Александра Жукова и существует, то маловероятно, что у него есть деньги для таких инвестиций. Возможно, кто-то пытается получить известность с целью проведения сомнительных афер в будущем.
Давайте знакомиться: компания Align Technology
Компания «Align Technology» занимается обыкновенным лечением зубов. Как это ни удивительно, но современные технологии лечения зубов прекрасно переносятся на цифровой стек и идеально сочетаются с трехмерным сканированием зубов, проектированием их лечения и печатью зубных протезов и приспособлений для их лечения. Практическая же реализация этого стека естественным образом постепенно тянет за собой весь описанный выше перечень технологий. Вообще, поработав в нашей компании, начинаешь особенно остро осознавать, насколько сильно меняется мир, в котором мы живем: зубы пришедшего в США к врачу-ортодонту пациента сегодня уже часто рутинно сканирует врач или медсестра, полученный цифровой слепок улетает по Сети в расположенный в другой стране центр обработки данных, где в полуавтоматическом режиме создается модель его челюсти, и по инструкциям и под наблюдением врача по шагам проектируется будущее лечение. Получившиеся «чертежи» улетают по Сети в третью страну, где на специальном заводе робот изготавливает необходимый девайс для лечения, и этот девайс пересылается почтой обратно врачу и устанавливается во рту пришедшего на повторный прием пациента. Правда быт обычных стоматологов-терапевтов, с которыми мы чаще всего сталкивается пока изменился не сильно: автоматизировать бормашину все еще непросто :), но изготовление зубных коронок, имплантов и брекетов для исправления положения зубов стремительно переходит на «цифру».
К сожалению, Россию пока этот процесс практически не затронул и когда мы упоминаем на собеседованиях о том, что наша компания занимается медицинским оборудованием и сервисами для лечения зубов, то наши собеседуемые нередко удивленно морщатся, очевидно полагая, что ничего интереснее ведения электронных карточек пациентов в подобном бизнесе быть не может. Поэтому для привлечения интереса к нашей тематике мы решили немного рассказать о том насколько далеко ушли здесь цифровые технологии и насколько интересными вещами нам благодаря этому приходится заниматься.
В Алайне сегодня работает больше 3.5 тысяч сотрудников, примерно 300 из которых приходится на разработчиков программного обеспечения и «железа». Разработка ведется в четырех крупных исследовательских центрах – два офиса в США отвечают преимущественно за «пользовательский фронт-энд» для докторов и инфраструктуру, офис в Израиле – за разработку «железа» для 3D-сканеров, а крупнейший офис – в Москве – за основную часть алгоритмической разработки, от софта для сканеров и создания внутренней CAD системы и датамайнинга до специальных утилит для оптимального расположения множества объектов в лотке принтера при трехмерной печати. Так что если захотите заниматься хайтеком действительно мирового уровня в Москве – то это к нам :). Своей работой мы, без шуток, меняем мир и помогаем людям.

Большая часть этой цифры приходится на последние 5 лет — бывшее когда-то нишевым решение превратилось в популярный мейнстрим и сегодня компания обслуживает более полутора тысяч человек ежедневно.
Алайнеры
Флагманский продукт компании – это так называемые «алайнеры». Вообще говоря, в терминах отечественной медицины это изделие следовало бы называть «ортодонтическая капа », но англоязычное «алайнер» на мой взгляд звучит проще и лучше. Капа – это специальное приспособление, надеваемое на зубы подобно чехлу (мне встречался емкий термин «назубник»).
В доцифровой ортодонтии капы изготавливали из силикона или пластика по гипсовым моделям зубов и использовали для нанесения на зубы лекарств, защиты зубов в спорте, и для того чтобы зафиксировать зубы в определенном положении после ортодонтического лечения. Алайн же придумал «силовую» капу, которая не просто фиксирует зубы в одном положении, а двигает их в желаемую сторону. Для достижения этой цели строится цифровая модель зубов и челюсти, определяется желаемое финальное положение зубов и по нему для каждого зуба рассчитывается траектория его движения. На выходе получается серия из очень маленьких подвижек зубов, которая начинается с текущего положения зубов, а заканчивается идеальным. По этой серии изготавливаются капы из специального прозрачного композитного материала, каждый из которых соответствует одному маленькому шажку в передвижении зубов. Каждая капа изготавливается из прозрачного эластичного композитного материала и соответствует не текущему, а следующему положению, которое должны занять зубы. Поскольку оно не слишком отличается от текущего, то подобную капу все еще можно надеть, но она при этом растягивается и начинает давить на зубы, пока они не передвинутся и займут нужное положение. Это, собственно, и есть алайнер.
«Старинная» альтернатива алайнерам состояла в том, чтобы приклеивать к зубам изогнутую стальную проволоку через специальные замочки – хорошо знакомые некоторым брекеты. Принцип действия там схожий, только в виде эластичного элемента выступает не отформованный по форме зубов пластик, а приклеенная через специальный крепеж изогнутая стальная проволока. По сравнению с современными брекетами алайнеры работают несколько медленнее (сталь способна развивать большее усилие чем пластик, даже композитный), но зато являются на порядок более комфортным вариантом лечения:
Где же тут хайтек, спросите Вы? А хайтек вот в этой маленькой фразе про необходимость моделирования зубов пациента и расчете траектории их движения. Сегодня для решения этой задачи у нас есть целый специальный завод, расположенный в Коста-Рике, где в огромном помещении размером со стадион несколько сотен специальных техников работает в разработанной нами CAM-системе. На заре становления компании наш софт здорово напоминал обыкновенные пакеты для 3D-моделирования, а техники вручную очищали присланные нам модели от «мусора», «нарезали» в них зубы и проектировали движение через знакомые многим по 3D-анимации кейфреймы. И проектирование лечения для одного человека тогда спокойно могло занять целый день. Или два, поскольку ортодонт не всегда соглашается с предложенным ему вариантом лечения и техникам нередко приходится модифицировать план лечения несколько раз, пока он полностью не устроит специалиста. Но с тех пор прошло много лет и «обычная» 3D система уже давно эволюционировала в очень специализированный пакет, работающий на порядок быстрее, и обладающий богатой функциональностью для разнообразных «специальных случаев». Неподалеку от разработчиков CAM-системы сидит и специальный отдел биомеханики, исследующий механику взаимодействия зубов с алайнерами и пытающийся придумать способы как это взаимодействие (к примеру, путем добавления к каппе внутренних выступов или напротив, зацепов на зубах) улучшить. Когда-то мы умели лечить только простые случаи, сегодня – уже почти любые.
Немного особняком от CAM-системы стоит физическое производство алайнеров. Процесс превращения рассчитанную в CAM-системе модели в поставляемый пациенту пластик является на редкость высокотехнологическим процессом и начинается с 3D-печати уникальной пресс-формы по технологии стереолитографии. Сегодня 3D-печатью уже никого не удивишь, но 15 лет назад когда компания только начиналась, Алайн пришлось создавать одно из крупнейших и наиболее продвинутых производств подобного рода в мире. Для каждого пациента нам требуется произвести от пяти-шести до нескольких десятков уникальных пресс-форм, по одному экземпляру на каждую из стадий лечения. Ежедневное производство превышает 50 тысяч пресс-форм в день, и каждую из них приходится снабжать машиночитаемой QR-меткой чтобы их между собою не путать. Произведенные пресс-формы отправляются на автоматическую линию где роботы отпечатывают с каждой формы алайнер из специального композитного материала, обрезают его края на станке с ЧПУ или (в развертываемой новой системе) промышленным лазером и шлифуют поверхность.
Получившиеся изделия автоматически сортируются, упаковываются в индивидуальные коробочки, понятным для пациента образом подписываются и собираются в комплекты готовые к отправке по почте. А функционирование всего этого процесса обеспечивает целый ряд специализированных программных продуктов. Один из подобных продуктов занимается формированием входных моделей для промышленных 3D-принтеров и оптимизирует их для печати, плотно упаковывая на одном крупном поддоне сотню разных моделей. Другой – управляет лазерным резаком, который обрезает края у отпечатанного по пресс-форме алайнера. Третий через QR-коды отслеживает произведенные десятки тысяч алайнеров и сортирует их для упаковки и отправки по почте заказчику.
Впрочем – все это заслуживает отдельного рассказа. А сейчас я бы хотел коротко сказать про
Сканирование
Когда-то давно, когда мы только начинали, единственным вариантом «сканирования» зубов у доктора было снятие с этих зубов слепка. Традиционный ортодонтический процесс подразумевал что в специальную форму заливался специальный пластилин, форма плотно надевалась на зубы, после чего полученный отпечаток заливался гипсом. Дальше по этой «физической» модели можно было, например, слепить из воска модель будущей зубной коронки, снять получившуюся восковую модельку с гипсовой формы, поместить её в песок и залить металлом, затем разбить форму, обработать отлитую детальку напильником, нанести на неё слой керамики, обжечь в специальной печи и раскрасить вручную специальными красками и кисточками. Именно подобным образом производят до сих пор коронки из металлокерамики в большинстве российских зубных клиник. Это потрясающий и очень художественный процесс, и при этом полностью, вплоть до самого распоследнего шага ручной. Но для производства алайнеров в 99-м требовалась трехмерная цифровая модель и притом высокоточная – погрешность даже в 1/5 мм могла серьезно испортить лечение. К счастью, изобретать велосипед не потребовалось – с подобной задачей, как оказалось, отлично справляются рентеновские томографы. Специальная установка с вращающейся платформой делает «на просвет» несколько сотен рентеновских снимков с разных ракурсов, а специальный софт затем восстанавливает по этим снимкам 3D-модель. Со временем мы перешли на собственный софт для томографии, и сегодня, к примеру, для сканирования подобного отпечатка не требуется заливать в него гипс – сканер сканирует непосредственно исходный отпечаток и автоматически вычисляет из него модель.
Интересно, кстати, что тогда это был далеко не единственный возможный способ высокоточной оцифровки – к примеру наши коллеги из компании Cadent Technologies, которая позднее стала частью Алайна, в примерно те же годы помещали модель отлитую из белого пластика в форму из черного, послойно срезали получившийся «кирпичик», фотографировали каждый слой и реконструировали модель из полученной стопки снимков. Но рентгеновская томография в итоге прижилась лучше и продолжает хорошо масштабироваться до сих пор. Но по всей видимости довольно скоро в небытие уйдет и она, и причина тому – появление специальных цифровых 3D сканеров для зубов.
Что такое современный 3D-сканер? Обычно при этих словах все представляют себе одну из недорогих систем на основе структурированного освещения и триангуляции: специальный проектор или лазер проецирует на объект полоски, сеточку или точку, а компьютер создает модель по тому как одна или несколько камер видит эту проекцию на объекте. Но человеческие зубы нельзя поместить на вращающуюся подставку, да и с местом для размещения сканера во рту, прямо скажем, негусто. Прибавьте к этому еще два веселых обстоятельства: во рту у человека очень влажно (слюной залито почти все), а человеческие зубы, хотя это на первый взгляд неочевидно, еще и полупрозрачны. А теперь попробуйте создать сканер, работающий в подобных условиях и выдающий на выходе модель зубов с точностью до 0.02 мм локально и до 0.25 мм – в масштабах всей челюсти. Впервые это удалось сделать примерно 7 лет назад израильской компании Cadent, пять лет назад назад мы купили её, и последние три года сканеры iTero – это плод совместной работы израильской и московской команд Алайна. Сегодня компания занимается полным циклом разработки сканера. Здесь есть оптическая лаборатория, где была придумана уникальная схема сканирования, специалисты занимающиеся проектированием «железа», специальная «чистая комната» для его сборки и, конечно, десятки программистов пишущих код от firmware и драйверов до прикладного софта, который в реальном времени превращает «сырые» данные в 3D-модель, очищает ее от «мусора» и позволяет тут же отредактировать. На сегодняшний день подобный сканер – это самая сложная и высокопроизводительная система над которой мне когда-либо доводилось работать, и я не думаю что совру, если скажу, что наш сканер по-прежнему прочно удерживает позиции лидера на ставшим в последние годы весьма насыщенном конкурентами рынке.
Я уже говорил выше, что алайнеры – это технология, которая революционизирует лечение прикуса? Аналогичным образом зубные сканеры – это технология, которая революционизирует, наверное, добрую половину зубоврачебных практик, причем происходить это будет буквально на глазах у нас с вами. Первое поколение 3D-сканеров сильно проигрывало традиционным «отпечаткам» по времени, поскольку слепок с зубов можно легко снять за 5-10 минут, а на сканирование того же пациента сканерами уходило 10-30 минут, а порой даже больше. Но сегодня на рынок выходит второе поколение зубных 3D-сканеров, и оно уже работает достаточно быстро чтобы спокойно укладываться в 5-10 и даже 3-5 минут. Упали и цены: если вчера сканеры стоили по 40 тысяч долларов и выше, то сегодня они стоят по 20, а некоторые простые модели даже по 10 тысяч. При этом цифровые слепки
Интересно что многие клиники сегодня успешно совмещают использование ультрасовременных зубных сканеров со старым добрым ручным процессом изготовления зубных коронок по гипсовой модели. Только пластиковую модель зубов в этом случае производят не 3D печатью (аддитивным методом), а выпиливают из заготовок роботами — станками с ЧПУ. Процесс этот более долгий и энергоемкий чем 3D-печать, требует больших затрат на обслуживание (скажем ту же замену фрез), однако отказаться от него пока не получается из-за более высоких требований к точности модели. Пластиковый алайнер может на доли миллиметра деформироваться при надевании на зубы, а вот металлическая коронка должна прилегать идеально. Однако по всей видимости даже с «цифровым» процессом старым добрым «зуботехническим лабораториям» жить осталось недолго, поскольку с ничуть не меньшим успехом станки с ЧПУ сегодня вытачивают не модели зубов, а сразу предназначенные для них зубные коронки из специального циркониевого материала. Поскольку зубные коронки невелики, то роботы «заточенные» под производство коронок по цифровым моделям сегодня по размерам напоминают обыкновенные офисные МФУ и легко умещаются прямо в стоматологическом кабинете. Традиционные пара дней ожидания коронки в оснащенных подобным оборудованием клиниках сокращаются всего до 15-20 минут. Единственным сдерживающим фактором здесь пока остается высокая цена подобных устройств которая стартует с 40-60 тысяч долларов, однако во вновь появляющихся клиниках она отчасти уравновешивается отсутствием необходимости в приобретении оборудования и помещения для традиционной зуботехнической лаборатории. Но преимущества «цифры» настолько очевидны, что скорее всего очень скоро это оборудование, как и зубные сканеры, станет мейнстримом.

Главными заинтересованными лицами в покупке у ByteDance этой популярной видеоплатформы являются транснациональная компания Microsoft и World Lab Technologies, Inc.
Дональд Трамп заявляет, что поддержит сделку только в том случае, если американская казна получит “значительную часть” ее стоимости. При этом президент США предупредил, что намерен запретить соцсеть с 15 сентября.

Не говоря уже о том, что ранее о молдавском бизнесмене в Молдове особо не слышали.
В настоящее время футбольный клуб «Милан» принадлежит фонду Elliott Management и занимает второе место в турнирной таблице итальянского чемпионата.

В январе в Москве без особой огласки запустили одну из самых современных систем распознавания лиц в мире, которая охватывает несколько десятков тысяч установленных в городе камер.
Разработчиком новой технологии распознавания лиц в видеопотоке стала российская компания NtechLab, известная своим мобильным приложением FindFace. Технология распознавания лиц NtechLab, как писали некоторые СМИ, могла «положить конец анонимности в обществе». Приложение FindFace было запущено в середине 2010-х. Оно помогало по фотографии найти человека в социальной сети «ВКонтакте».
В интервью Forbes USA генеральный директор NtechLab Александр Минин заявил, что речь идет о крупнейшем в мире проекте распознавания лиц в режиме реального времени, даже несмотря на то, что по большей части технологию не используют в онлайн-режиме. С ее помощью можно в реальном времени найти лицо в толпе и в ту же секунду сравнить его с фотографиями людей из полицейских баз данных разыскиваемых преступников. Полиция Лондона сейчас тестирует похожую систему в сотрудничестве с японской компанией NEC. Новые технологии позволили существенно ускорить работу — раньше все материалы с камер наблюдения сохранялись в отдельный видеоархив и сотрудникам полиции нужно было прогонять каждую видеозапись через специальную систему распознавания лиц, чтобы найти совпадение.
Многие по-прежнему озабочены последствиями внедрения такой технологии в городскую систему видеонаблюдения. Прежде всего, возможным нарушением неприкосновенности частной жизни в связи с непрерывным поиском лиц в видеопотоке в режиме реального времени. Учитывая низкий уровень соблюдения прав человека в России, некоторые люди опасаются начала тотальной слежки, описанной в антиутопии Джорджа Оруэлла «1984». В прошлом году российская активистка движения за права женщин Алена Попова подала иск к мэрии Москвы. Она утверждала, что внедрение общегородской системы распознавания лиц нарушит права людей на неприкосновенность частной жизни. Однако вскоре ее иск был отклонен.
Тем не менее, Минин гордится своей работой и рад тому, что в Москве запустили новую систему распознавания лиц. Он говорит, что NtechLab работала над проектом в течение двух лет. «Наша система подключена к сотням тысяч камер и работает в режиме реального времени», — утверждает Минин. Будут ли технологии NTechLab использоваться в США? Это вполне возможно, учитывая тот факт, что американские правительственные организации дали высокую оценку российской технологии. Система NTechLab была признана лучшей в рамках тестирования технологий распознавания лиц, которое проводилось Национальным институтом стандартов и технологий США. Несмотря на то, что существуют некоторые опасения по поводу того, насколько безопасно сотрудничество американских государственных органов с российскими компаниями, руководство NTechLab заключило партнерство с поставщиком систем видеонаблюдения Genetec, который ранее получил несколько государственных контрактов от правительства США.
На американском рынке NTechLab придется конкурировать со множеством технологических стартапов, в том числе и компанией ClearView, инвестором которой стал миллиардер Питер Тиль. Космос в стиле нано: как заглянуть в любую точку Земли в реальном времени?
Когда в июне 2012-го под Серовом, в Свердловской области, исчез АН-2 с группой отдыхающих на борту, на поиски бросили всех. Искали с земли, воздуха, в эфире. Конечно, пробовали отыскать следы и на спутниковых снимках, предоставленных по такому случаю российской компанией «Сканэкс» (она эксплуатирует замечательный ресурс Kosmosnimki.ru, покрывающий Российскую Федерацию; для поисков АН-2 запустила отдельный веб-проект). Однако прошёл почти год, прежде чем самолёт нашли — охотники, буквально в нескольких километрах от города. Ничего удивительного: местность там сложная, болота, тайга. А снимки со спутников были мало того, что со средненьким разрешением (несколько метров на пиксель от аппаратов семейства SPOT, в лучшем случае метровое разрешение в радиодиапазоне от TerraSAR-X), так ещё и редкие, покрывающие нужный участок Земли раз в сутки и реже.
А ведь могло сложиться иначе. Районы предполагаемого падения можно было сканировать практически в реальном времени и найти упавший самолёт за пару суток. Если бы… Если бы к тому моменту уже работал уникальный космический монитор, сооружаемый сейчас американо-британским стартапом Planet Labs.
Впрочем, прежде чем рассказать о самом проекте, стоит сделать ещё одно отступление, посвящённое так называемым наноспутникам. Увлечение ими, собственно, и свело вместе трёх основателей Planet Labs, до того работавших «на космос» в разных сферах и по разные стороны Атлантики.
В основу концепции наноспутника положена дерзкая идея отказа от большинства, если не всех правил и принципов, выработанных космической индустрией за последние пятьдесят лет. С нанотехнологиями такие аппараты никак не связаны, приставка «нано» используется, просто чтобы показать их размеры и стоимость. Типичный наноспутник — это агрегат размером с обувную коробку, построенный на дешёвых (заимствованных с массового рынка, вплоть до смартфонов) электронных компонентах, свободном программном обеспечении, наделённый чаще всего лишь рудиментарными средствами коррекции орбиты, а то и лишённый их вовсе. В космос их забрасывают буквально пачками: везут в качестве вторичного груза, а то и вместо балласта, даже отстреливают с МКС. Живёт такой аппарат за облаками, как правило, недолго (есть, впрочем, и долгожители, вроде Delfi-C3, собранного голландскими студентами и работающего уже пять лет), функциональность его сильно ограничена, но всё компенсируется ценой.
Начиная с какого-то момента стоимость искусственных спутников Земли падает непропорционально быстро их размерам. И если обычный «профессиональный» сателлит, занятый фотосъёмкой земной поверхности, со всей обвеской и накладными расходами стоит сотни миллионов долларов (к примеру, WorldView-2, о котором речь пойдёт ниже, потянул на полмиллиарда), наноспутники легко укладываются в сто тысяч, а если постараться, можно снизить цену ещё в несколько раз.
Строго говоря, «наноувлечение» постигло космонавтику не вчера, и к настоящему моменту даже сформулированы стандарты, облегчающие проектирование и вывод на орбиту таких ИСЗ (наподобие CubeSat: куб с гранью 10 сантиметров, максимальная масса меньше полутора килограмм). Больше того, наноспутники не предельный случай, есть ещё и пико-, и фемтосателлиты, и всем нашлась работа (аппараты категории «фемто» — размером с почтовую марку и ведут себя подобно космической пыли; их сотнями планируется разбрасывать, к примеру, над планетами для изучения химии, радиационной обстановки и пр.). Однако, похоже, что именно нанокатегория станет золотой серединой между размерами, ценой и функционалом. Такие спутники уже дёшевы, но ещё достаточно функциональны, чтобы выполнять работу, непосредственно полезную для землян. И как раз сегодня рынок наносателлитов встаёт на ноги, переходя от одноразовых экспериментов к бизнесу.

После такого вступления будет просто объяснить, что задумала Planet Labs. Уже в начале следующего года она планирует развернуть над Землёй спутниковую группировку Flock-1. Образованная 28 наносателлитами (каждый по размерам равен трём кубикам CubeSat), она станет самой масштабной группировкой фотографических аппаратов и одной из самых масштабных спутниковых формаций вообще. Наноспутники Planet Labs займут свои места на высоте 400 км, образовав наклонённое к экватору кольцо, и позволят почти немедленно заглядывать в любую точку земного шара с разрешением три на пять метров на пиксель. Данные, принимаемые тремя станциями на Земле, будут сразу же предоставляться клиентам.
Строго говоря, Planet Labs ещё не озвучила тайминг: неизвестно, насколько именно быстро можно будет сфотографировать нужную точку и, соответственно, как скоро её можно будет отснять повторно. Однако, опираясь на данные конкурентов, уместно предположить, что с помощью Flock-1 произвольную точку поверхности возможно будет видеть каждые 4 часа. А может быть, и чаще, потому что Flock-1 будет избыточной формацией, зоны наблюдения спутников в ней частично перекрываются.
Правда, разрешение 3х5 метров выглядит вчерашним днём. Ведь сегодня, например, аппарат WorldView-2, эксплуатируемый компанией DigitalGlobe (поставляемые которой снимки покрывают значительную часть, скажем, глобуса Google Earth), обеспечивает 46 сантиметров на пиксель! Однако WV-2 — один на всю планету и «частота обновления» картинок у него соответствующая. А Flock-1 видит автомобили, кроны деревьев, отдельные домики — и позволяет отслеживать развитие ситуации почти в реальном времени. Только представьте: спасатели смогут моментально оценить площадь и векторы лесного пожара, масштабы разрушений после цунами, землетрясений и даже локальных катастроф и стихийных бедствий; фермеры — оценить потребность в поливе или внесении удобрений; торговцы и биржевые спекулянты — сделать оценку будущих урожаев. Отсюда и ожидаемая клиентура: сельское хозяйство, картографы, финансисты, экологи, спасатели. Вообще же оценить рынок пока сложно: ведь такой услуги никто ещё землянам не предлагал!
Бюджет Planet Labs по космическим меркам выглядит смешно: она собрала с инвесторов 13 млн долларов и уже отправила за облака два действующих прототипа своих наноспутников (серия Dove, без движителей, шестикилограммовых; сделанные ими снимки иллюстрируют колонку). Осенью планируется ещё одна проба, после чего в декабре на орбиту пойдёт уже вся группировка. Скептики, естественно, имеются — и предвещают «наностартапу» чисто космические трудности: низколетящие ИСЗ без возможности корректировать орбиту, мол, сгорят в атмосфере за год (Planet Labs рассчитывает на несколько лет). Но и тут в игру вступает фактор цены.
Ведь Planet Labs не первая и не единственная, кто работал и работает над системой коммерческого реалтаймового спутникового мониторинга Земли. Одним из первых проектов такого рода стал германский RapidEye, пять аппаратов которого фотографируют нашу планету вот уже пятый год. Однако низкая частота съёмки (раз в сутки) и обычно высокая стоимость техники, помноженные на уровень спроса, привели компанию к банкротству. В том же направлении работает и американская Skybox Imaging, планирующая группировку из десяти (а в перспективе — под три десятка) аппаратов на орбите Земли. Но и здесь ставка — на ИСЗ обычного размера, и расходы соответствующие.

Pentagon Biological Weapons Program Never Ended: US Bio-labs Around The World
Comment: 13/03/22: As Gaytandzhieva aptly states «what the Pentagon is currently doing is exactly what it did in the past, meaning that its bio-weapons program was never terminated.» After Nuland’s admission that the US was «concerned» that the Russians may obtain research materials from labs in Ukraine, the MSM went into overdrive alleging that there was nothing to see here apart from Russian disinformation and that it was Putin himself who was planning a chemical or bioweapons attack. The truth is much darker, as this article shows. Bioweapons research and attacks have been the West’s modus operandi for the last 70 years at least! Most relevant to the current situation were numerous mysterious outbreaks of illnesses in countries bordering on Russia such as Ukraine and Georgia.
Dilyana Gaytandzhieva is a Bulgarian investigative journalist and Middle East Correspondent. Over the last two years she has published a series of reports on weapons smuggling to ISIS in Syria. Georgia is a Testing Ground For Bioweapons
The Lugar Center is the Pentagon bio laboratory in Georgia. It is located just 17 km away from the US Vaziani military airbase in the capital Tbilisi. Tasked with the military program are biologists from the US Army Medical Research Unit-Georgia (USAMRU-G) along with private contractors. The Bio-safety Level 3 Laboratory is accessible only to US citizens with security clearance. They are accorded diplomatic immunity under the 2002 US-Georgia Agreement on defense cooperation.
The USA-Georgia agreement accords diplomatic status to the US military and civilian personnel (including diplomatic vehicles), working on the Pentagon program in Georgia.
Pentagon Contractors Produce Bio Agents Under Diplomatic Cover
The private company performs work for the Pentagon’s DTRA bio laboratories in Afghanistan, Armenia, Georgia, Uganda, Tanzania, Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam. Battelle conducts research, development, testing, and evaluation using both highly toxic chemicals and highly pathogenic biological agents for a wide range of US government agencies. It has been awarded some $2 billion federal contracts in total, and ranks 23 on the Top 100 US government contractors list.
The CIA-Battelle Project Clear Vision
Project Clear Vision (1997 and 2000), a joint investigation by the CIA and the Battelle Memorial Institute, under a contract awarded by the Agency, reconstructed and tested a Soviet-era anthrax bomblet in order to test its dissemination characteristics. The project’s stated goal was to assess bio-agents dissemination characteristics of bomblets. The clandestine CIA-Battelle operation was omitted from the US Biological Weapons Convention declarations submitted to the UN.
Top Secret Experiments
Among the secret experiments performed by Battelle at NBACC, are: Assessment of powder dissemination technology, Assessment of hazard posed by aerosolized toxins, and Assessment of virulence of B. Pseudomallei (Meliodosis) as a function of aerosol particle in non-human primates. Melioidosis has the potential to be developed as a biological weapon, hence it is classed as a category B. Bioterrorism Agent. B. Pseudomallei was studied by the US as a potential bioweapon in the past.
Besides the military experiments at the Lugar Center in Georgia, Battelle has already produced bioterrorism agents at the Biosafety Level 4 NBACC Top Secret Laboratory at Fort Detrick in the US. An NBACC presentation lists 16 research priorities for the lab, including to characterize classical, emerging and genetically-engineered pathogens for their BTA (biological threat agent) potential; assess the nature of nontraditional, novel and non-endemic induction of disease from potential BTA; and to expand aerosol-challenge testing capacity for non-human primates.
Pentagon Biolabs at The epicenter of The Ebola Crisis
Metabiota services include global field-based biological threat research, pathogen discovery, outbreak response and clinical trials.
Metabiota worked on the Pentagon’s project at the epicenter of the Ebola crisis, where three US biolabs are situated.
A July 17, 2014 report, drafted by the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium, accused Metabiota Inc. of failing to abide by an existing agreement on how to report test results and for bypassing the Sierra Leonean scientists working there. The report also raised the possibility that Metabiota was culturing blood cells at the lab, something the report said was dangerous, as well as misdiagnosing healthy patients. All of those allegations were denied by Metabiota.

Entomological warfare is a type of biological warfare that uses insects to transmit diseases. The Pentagon has allegedly performed such entomological tests in Georgia and Russia.
Biting Flies in Georgia
Biting Flies in Dagestan, Russia
Since the start of the Pentagon project in 2014, flies similar to those in Georgia have appeared in neighboring Dagestan (Russia). According to local people, they bite and cause rashes. Their breeding habitats are house drains.
Flies from the Phlebotomine family carry dangerous parasites in their saliva which they transmit through a bite to humans. The disease, which these flies carry, is of high interest to the Pentagon. In 2003 during the US invasion of Iraq, American soldiers were severely bitten by sand flies and contracted Leishmoniasis. The disease is native to Iraq and Afghanistan, and if left untreated the acute form of Leishmoniasis can be fatal.
A 1967 US Army report ‘Arthropods of medical importance in Asia and the European USSR’ lists all local insects, their distribution and the diseases that they carry. Biting flies, which live in drains, are also listed in the document. Their natural habitat, though, is the Philippines, not Georgia or Russia.
Operation Whitecoat: Infected Flies Tested to Bite Humans
The Pentagon has a long history in using insects as vectors for diseases. According to a partially declassified 1981 US Army report, American bio warfare scientists carried out a number of experiments on insects. These operations were part of US Entomological Warfare under the Program for Biological Weapons of the US.
Operation Big Itch: Field tests were performed to determine coverage patterns and survivability of the tropical rat flea Xenopsylla cheopis for use as a disease vector in biological warfare.
Operation Big Buzz: 1 million A. Aegypti mosquitoes were produced, 1/3 were placed in munitions and dropped from aircraft, or dispersed on the ground. The mosquitoes survived the airdrop and actively sought out human blood.
Operation May Day: Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes were dispersed through ground-based methods in Georgia, USA, during a US Army operation codenamed May Day.
Parts of the 1981 US Army report such as the «Mass production of Aedes Aegypti» have not been declassified, potentially meaning that the project is still ongoing.

Operation Bellweather: The US Army Chemical Research and Development Command, Biological Weapons Branch, studied outdoor mosquito biting activity in a number of field tests at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, in 1960. Virgin female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, which had been starved, were tested upon troops out in the open air.
Military Experiments With Tropical Mosquitoes and Ticks in Georgia
Such species of mosquitoes and fleas (studied in the past under the US Entomological Warfare Program) have also been collected in Georgia and tested at the Lugar Center.
Under the DTRA project ‘Virus and Other Arboviruses in Georgia’ in 2014, the never-before-seen tropical mosquito Aedes albopictus was detected for the first time and after an absence of decades (60 years), the existence of Aedes Aegypti mosquito was confirmed in west Georgia.
These tropical mosquitoes Aedes Albopictus, having never been seen before in Georgia, have also been detected in neighboring Russia (Krasnodar) and Turkey. According to data provided by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, their spread is unusual for this part of the world.
Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes have been distributed only in Georgia, southern Russia and northern Turkey. They were detected for the first time in 2014 after the start of the Pentagon program at the Lugar Center.
Under another DTRA project, ‘Epidemiology and Ecology of Tularemia in Georgia’ (2013-2016), 6,148 ground ticks were collected; 5,871 were collected off cattle and 1,310 fleas and 731 ticks were caught. In 2016 a further 21,590 ticks were collected and studied at the Lugar Center.
Anthrax Outbreak in Georgia and NATO Human Trials
In 2007 Georgia ended its policy of having compulsory annual livestock anthrax vaccination. As a result, the morbidity rate of the disease reached its peak in 2013. The same year NATO started human-based anthrax vaccine tests at the Lugar Center in Georgia.
In 2007, despite the anthrax outbreak, the Georgian government terminated compulsory vaccination for 7 years. 2013 saw NATO begin human trials on a new anthrax vaccine in Georgia.
Pentagon Research on Russian Anthrax
Anthrax is one of the bio agents weaponized by the US Army in the past. Despite the Pentagon’s claims that its program is only defensive, there are facts to the contrary. In 2016 at the Lugar Center American scientists carried out research on the ‘Genome Sequence of the Soviet/Russian Bacillus anthracis Vaccine Strain 55-VNIIVViM’, which was funded by the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Cooperative Biological Engagement Program in Tbilisi, and administered by Metabiota (the US contractor under the Pentagon program in Georgia).
34 People Intentionally-Infected With Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Georgia
Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is caused by infection through a tick-borne virus (Nairovirus). The disease was first characterized in Crimea in 1944 and given the name Crimean hemorrhagic fever. It was then later recognized in 1969 as the cause of illness in Congo, thus resulting in the current name of the disease. In 2014 34 people became infected (including a 4-year old child) with CCHF. Three of them died. The same year, Pentagon biologists studied the virus in Georgia under the DTRA project ‘Epidemiology of febrile illnesses caused by Dengue viruses and other Arboviruses in Georgia‘. The project included tests on patients with fever symptoms and the collection of ticks, as possible vectors of CCHFV for laboratory analysis.
The cause of the CCHF outbreak in Georgia is still unknown. According to the local Veterinary Department report, only one tick from all of the collected species from the infected villages tested positive for the disease. Despite the claims of local authorities that the virus was transmitted to humans from animals, all animal blood samples were negative too. The lack of infected ticks and animals is inexplicable given the sharp increase of CCHF human cases in 2014, meaning that the outbreak was not natural and the virus was spread intentionally.
In 2016 another 21,590 ticks were collected for DNA databases for future studies at the Lugar Center under the Pentagon project ‘Assessing the Seroprevalence and Genetic Diversity of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Virus (CCHFV) and Hantaviruses in Georgia’.
Military Bio-lab Blamed For Deadly CCHF Outbreak in Afghanistan
237 cases of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) have also been reported across Afghanistan, 41 of which were fatal as of December 2017. According to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Health, most of the cases have been registered in the capital Kabul, where 71 cases have been reported with 13 fatalities, and in the province of Herat near the border with Iran (67 cases).
Why The Pentagon Collects And Studies Bats
Bats are allegedly the reservoir hosts to the Ebola Virus, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), and other deadly diseases. However, the precise ways these viruses are transmitted to humans are currently unknown. Numerous studies have been performed under the DTRA Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) in a search for deadly pathogens of military importance in bats.
Bats have been blamed for the deadly Ebola outbreak in Africa (2014-2016). However, no conclusive evidence of exactly how the virus ‘jumped’ to humans has ever been provided, which raises suspicions of intentional and not natural infection.

Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) first appeared in 2012 and is thought to have originated in bats and spread directly to humans and/or camels. However, like Ebola, the precise ways the virus spreads are unknown.
1,980 cases with 699 deaths caused by MERS-CoV were reported in 15 countries across the world (as of June 2017).
MERS-CoV is one of the viruses that have been engineered by the US and studied by the Pentagon, as well as influenza and SARS. Confirmation of this practice is Obama’s 2014 temporary ban on government funding for such ‘dual-use’ research. The moratorium was lifted in 2017 and experiments have continued. Enhanced Potential Pandemic Pathogens (PPPs) experiments are legal in the US.

Tularemia as Bioweapon
Tularemia, also known as Rabbit Fever, is classified as a bioterrorism agent and was developed as such in the past by the US. However, the Pentagon’s research on tularemia continues, as well as on possible vectors of the bacteria such as ticks and rodents, which cause the disease. The DTRA has launched a number of projects on Tularemia along with other especially dangerous pathogens in Georgia.
Especially Dangerous Pathogens (EDPs), or select agents, represent a major concern for public health globally. Late last year, a highly suspicious Hepatitis A infection spread rapidly in just few months across South East Ukraine, where most of the Pentagon biolabs are located.
37 people have been hospitalized for Hepatitis A in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv as of January 2018. Local police have launched an investigation into «infection with human immunodeficiency virus and other incurable diseases.» Three years ago more than 100 people in the same city became infected with Cholera. In the summer of 2017, 60 people with Hepatitis A were admitted to hospital in the city of Zaporizhia. The cause of this outbreak is still unknown.

29 cases of Hepatitis A were reported in Kharkiv in November 2017. The virus was isolated in contaminated drinking water. One of the Pentagon bio-labs located in Kharkiv was blamed for the deadly Flu outbreak a year ago that claimed the lives of 364 Ukrainians.
Ukraine And Russia Hit By New Highly Virulent Cholera Infection
In 2011 Ukraine was hit by a cholera outbreak. 33 patients were reportedly hospitalized for severe diarrhea. A second outbreak struck the country in 2014 when more than 800 people all across Ukraine were reported to have contracted the disease. In 2015 at least 100 new cases were registered in the city of Mykolaiv alone.
A new highly virulent variant of the cholera agent Vibrio cholera, with a high genetic similarity to the strains reported in Ukraine, hit Moscow in 2014. According to a 2014 Russian Research Anti-Plaque Institute genetic study, the cholera strain isolated in Moscow was similar to the bacteria which caused the epidemic in neighboring Ukraine.
Southern Research Institute has been a prime subcontractor under the DTRA program in Ukraine since 2008. The company was also a prime Pentagon contractor in the past, under the US Biological Weapons Program for research and development of bio-agents, with 16 contracts between 1951 and 1962.

115 Botulism cases, with 12 deaths, were reported in Ukraine in 2016.
In 2017 the Ukrainian Ministry of Health confirmed a further 90 new cases, with 8 deaths, of botulinum toxin poisoning (one of the most poisonous biological substances known). According to local health authorities, the cause of the outbreak was food poisoning, into which police launched an investigation.

The US Army produces and tests bio-agents at a special military facility located at Dugway Proving Ground (West Desert Test Center, Utah), as proven in a 2012 US Army Report. The facility is overseen by the Army Test and Evaluation Command.
The Life Sciences Division (LSD) at Dugway Proving Ground is tasked with the production of bio-agents. According to the Army report, scientists from this division produce and test aerosolized bio-agents at Lothar Saloman Life Sciences Test Facility (LSTF).
The Life Sciences Division consists of an Aerosol Technology branch and a Microbiology Branch. The Aerosol Technology Branch aerosolizes biological agents and simulants. The Microbiology branch produces toxins, bacteria, viruses and agent-like organisms which are used in chamber and field testing.
After the bio-agents are produced, the scientists challenge them at containment aerosol chambers.

US Army documents and photos show that the Pentagon has developed various dissemination methods for bioterrorism attacks, including via explosives.
The US Army report lists numerous dissemination techniques, including via bio-aerosol sprayers. Such sprayers, called Micronair disseminators, have already been developed by the US Army and tested at Dugway Proving Ground. According to the documents, they can be vehicle-mounted, or worn as a backpack with a pump system, which can be fitted to the unit to increase the accuracy of the release. Micronair sprayers can release 50 to 500 mL of bio-liquid simulant per minute from 12 L tanks.
The US Stole Bacteria From Saddam Hussein’s Bio Weapons Factory
Information from the US federal contracts registry shows that the Pentagon performs tests using the bacteria stolen from Saddam Hussein’s bio-weapons factory in Iraq.

The problem with trying to target ethnic groups with bioweapons is that the USA is the most genetically diverse nation in the world. Its citizens come from every corner of the globe, including millions of Russians and Chinese. Any disease intended to target a particular race would end up causing havoc right here also.
The second problem, as seen with the present Coronavirus, and as seen with all other viruses, is that they cannot be contained to any one country. The news was consistently pumping graphic charts of the «mounting deaths» due to corona. Yet, when I went outside and spoke to people. No one knew of anyone who died of corona. They DID come to know of relatives being put on ventilators which damaged the lungs and killed them. They DID come to know of relatives who died of pre-existing causes but were given no autopsy and labeled as a covid death. In one of the Fuellmich model trial testimonies of Dr. Chetty from South Africa, he noted that there were 4 waves of the «virus». He DID NOT use PCR testing, which means he saw patients based on symtoms. He has a detective like mind. He noted that each wave was a different ethnic population. I forget the order, but they included, African, Indian, Caucasion, and one other. Each of the waves had initially a different organ system: cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and neurological. As Chief Administrative Officer, Sanjay leads our overarching strategy to promote sustainable growth of shareholder values while safeguarding the interest of employees, clients and partner ecosystem. He also leads and manages the inhouse legal department. Sanjay plays an advisory role in strategic transactions and continues to oversee corporate governance in its highest form at Marlabs.
Jay is responsible for growing the PS and Transformation business worldwide, driving Sales and Delivery to enhance our digital revenues in this space. He has played a vital role in building the company from the dozen or so employees when he joined in 1997 to over 2,500 digital professionals today.
A seasoned business leader, Jay also plays a key role in incubating new NextGen technologies and has spearheaded the development of major Marlabs offerings. His 25+ years of business experience also includes managing a supply chain and serving as an account head for the in-house media/advertising agency at a leading Indian corporation.
Jay holds an MS from Walchand Institute of Technology in Solapur, India.
Todd KellerChief Operating Officer
Todd is the COO at Marlabs and a member of the Marlabs Board. His key responsibilities include business strategy and execution. Todd is also responsible for M&A and post M&A integration at Marlabs as well as leading commercial reengineering initiatives. He brings with him deep consulting experience in financial modelling as well as being a recognised people leader with a keen eye for building high performance teams.
Todd’s previous experiences include Alight Solutions where he was the business unit CFO of their global payroll BPO, Workday implementation and managed services businesses. During his tenure, he led the integration of 4 acquisitions, and was actively involved in developing commercial strategies and deal structures. Todd led through the structure and negotiation of transferring Alight’s 9,500 colleague Indian entity to an Indian IT services major as a managed captive transaction.Todd holds a Bachelor’s in Finance & Marketing from the University of Oregon and an MBA from DePaul University.
Vikas KumarChief Revenue Officer
Vikas is the Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at Marlabs, based out of New Jersey. With a strategic focus on creating innovative, Next-Gen Enterprise capabilities and forging key alliance channels; Vikas drives Digital Transformation initiatives, business pursuits and customer success by leveraging the ecosystem of partners to add to our capabilities; deepen our ISV relationships and identify and work with startups and academia to enhance our value delivered to our customers.
Vikas is an accomplished IT executive and business leader. Over the last 22+ years of his career, Vikas has held several leadership responsibilities across both Product and Services organizations, across multiple geographies. An avid enthusiast in identifying and accelerating Growth Opportunities for global ventures while incubating a culture of IP, research and innovation.
A Computer Science Engineer by education. Business development, sales, pre-sales, alliances, customer/partner success and enterprise solutioning by profession. Vikas has authored multiple white papers & blogs, and has been awarded various industry & partner ecosystem accolades. He is also well recognized as a visionary, thought leader and Industry Speaker in the AI, Machine Learning, Analytics, Data/Information Management, Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Engineering communities.
