Feels Good, That feel when и др.

Самый популярный из них – I know that feel bro (Я знаю это чувство, брат).

That feel Guy”.

About

Feels Guy, also known as Wojak, is an MS Paint illustration of a bald man with a sad expression on his face. It is often used as a reaction image to represent feelings such as melancholy, regret or loneliness.

Origin

The exact origin of the Wojak illustration is unknown. On December 16th, 2009, the earliest known I Wish I Was at Home MS Paint comic was submitted to the internet humor site Sad and Useless, [9] which features the Wojak character standing in a corner at a party (shown below).

According to «ask me anything» (AMA) thread on Reddit [1] by a user claiming to be Krautchan user Wojak, the bald man illustration was originally discovered on the imageboard Vichan with the filename «twarz.jpg.» The image was subsequently popularized as a reaction image after Wojak submitted it to the German language image board Krautchan, with the earliest archived post appearing on April 26th, 2010 (shown below).

Soon after, the picture became known as “Wojak’s face” and “ciepła twarz” (“warm face”). The image spread to other international image boards, including the Italian Pastachan [3] and the Russian Dobrochan.

Spread

On February 2nd, 2012, Redditor Voyack submitted an AMA to the /r/datfeel [2] subreddit, claiming to be Wojack from Krautchan. On October 3rd, 2013, the news site Bustle [6] published an article about the origins of the Feels Guy. On November 19th, a Facebook [8] page titled «Feels Guy» was launched, which gained over 6,400 likes in the next two years. On May 22nd, YouTuber ReluctantMisc uploaded an animated video of Wojak titled «A day in the life of ‘that feel when’ guy» (shown below).

On April 2nd, 2014, a page for «Feels Guy» was created on the Internet culture wiki Encyclopedia Dramatica. [5] On March 14th, 2015, the /r/Wojak [7] subreddit was launched for photoshopped variations of the Feels Guy image.

About

“I Know That Feel Bro” (also known as «to uczucie» or «to uczócie») is an Internet slang expression used to convey empathy towards or agree with someone else’s feeling or opinion. The expression, which roughly means “I feel you, bro,” is typically accompanied by a contour- drawing reaction image of two bald men embracing each other expressionlessly. The face has been used as an exploitable character and is often seen in «that feel when» (TFW) threads on image boards, which describe an emotional situation or event.

Origin

The earliest instances of “that feel» are rumored to have been posted on the German image board Krautchan [2] as early as May of 2010. On February 6th, 2012, a user named «Voyack» posted an «ask me anything thread» on Reddit [11] saying he was the Krautchan user «Wojak», the creator of the meme:

Precursor

«“To uczucie” (“this feeling”) became a popular phrase on the Polish «>demotivational humor website Demotywatory [1] in 2009. The phrase was paired with an image that described certain distinct, shared or important feelings. The first one, posted in July of that year, paired a still shot from a boss fight from the Nintendo game Super Mario Brothers and the phrase “Remember this feeling?”

In early 2010, users of the now-defunct Polish imageboard Vichan started posting parody images from Demotywatory. In response to the “To uczucie”-themed pictures, Vichan users created “To uczócie” (sic), a common type of demotivator with absurd, offensive or horribly misspelled captions that rarely matched the image. The grass example pictured above roughly translates to “This feeling when the trees are growing and you aren’t.”

Spread

Wojak posted the bald man image in several other threads on Krautchan’s /int/ (international) board mourning his lack of a girlfriend. Soon after, the picture became known as “Wojak’s face” and «ciepła twarz» («warm face»). The image spread to other international image boards, including the Italian Pastachan [4] and the Russian Dobrochan. [16]

I know that feel bro. Medialeaks).

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel broМем «Вояк»

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel broРусская версия описания думера

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel broКак мог бы одеться думер

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel broДумерский пейзаж

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel broЗимний думерский пейзаж

I Know that Feel, Bro.

Itty Bitty Living Space

There is no way for me to express how much I love illustrator and web designer Chris Gerringer’s series titled I Know That Feel, Bro. The series of illustrations, which echo the artist’s great sense of humor, follow the basic template of placing two subjects, often fictional pop culture characters, side-by-side, bumping fists, who have something in common to commiserate about. The project has really taken off in the last month with Gerringer’s release of over 20 illustrations (that’s 40 different characters) of these well-known figures finding company for their shared misery.

I was immediately drawn in when I saw Genie and Pikachu bonding over their confined living spaces – a lamp and a pokball, respectively. Other characters that share a good cry together include Sonic the Hedgehog and Captain Planet over their addictive penchant for rings, as well as Kermit the Frog and The Incredible Hulk who both know, first-hand, that it isn’t easy being green.

I’m eager to see which characters will come next in this ongoing series that is clearly heavily influenced by video games and cartoons. Personally, I’m waiting for a Simpsons cameo. Although the series seems to focus on male characters confiding in and consoling each other, I think that a Tinkerbell and Smithers duo under the title “Always a Sidekick, Never a Romantic Interest” would work. Otherwise, Ned Flanders and George Wilson (from Dennis the Menace) could sympathize over their menacing neighbors.

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro

Voyack reported that the bald man picture came from the Polish image board Vichan and was named «twarz.jpg» («warm face»).

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro

Voyack reported that the bald man picture came from the Polish image board Vichan and was named «twarz.jpg» («warm face»).

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro

Voyack reported that the bald man picture came from the Polish image board Vichan and was named «twarz.jpg» («warm face»).

Feels Good, That feel when и др.

Самый популярный из них – I know that feel bro (Я знаю это чувство, брат).

That feel Guy

That feel Guy”.

Meowjak

About

Meowjak refers to variations of the Wojak character depicted as a cat, often with a soy boy face alongside jokes about being a cat and about there being «241 Meowjaks.» The earliest known Meowjak meme was posted to 4chan’s /qa/ (questions and answers) board in June 2021, which was screenshotted and posted across social media. The post inspired further Meowjak variants over the following months.

Origin

On June 29th, 2021, an anonymous user of 4chan’s [1] /qa/ board posted an image of a cat drawn in a Wojak style with glasses and an aggressive-looking soyboy face, writing, «>>not understanding a common phrase and having a reading comprehension below a 3rd grade level» (shown below). The JPEG is titled «MEOWJAK.»

Spread

The Meowjak spread across 4chan over the following months, inspiring new variations. On June 30th, 2021, an anonymous user posted a new Meowjak to 4chan’s [2] /qa/ board, writing, «>MEOW MEOW MEOW HAHAHAHA MEOW MEOW MEOW. though» (shown below). That day, an anon replied [3] to the post with a Wojak that looks like Courage the Cowardly Dog, writing, «>Fuck ur meowjaks.»

On July 18th, an anonymous 4chan [4] user responded to a thread [5] joking about being allergic to cats with the original Meowjak, the JPEG titled «Meowjak241,» writing, «>You WILL clean my shitbox.» In response, an anon wrote, «you do NOT have 241 meowjaks.» Another anon then responded with a new Meowjak, sarcastically repeating, «>you do NOT have 241 meowjaks» (shown below). A screenshot of the interaction was shared to Reddit’s /r/196 [6] subreddit that November, gaining over 2,700 upvotes in four months.

The idea of there being 241 Meowjaks became a running joke in future Meowjak memes as users named their own with a new number between one and 241. The phrase «You do NOT have 241 Wojaks» is often used on Meowjak posts as a copypasta. On August 22nd, an anonymous user of 4chan’s [7] /qa/ board posted the original Meowjak, writing, «>You WILL give me canned food >You WILL NOT give me dry kibble >You WILL clean my shitbox >You WILL scratch only the underside on my chin >You WILL NOT make loud airplane noises to frighten me» (shown below).

Screenshots of Meowjak posts and the Meowjaks in general received viral spread online through reposts. For example, on September 5th, Instagram [8] page dieunheilige shared a Meowjak post, gaining over 11,000 likes in six months. On February 22nd, 2022, Twitter [9] user @Chudayeen posted a Meowjak meme, gaining over 410 likes and 96 retweets in a week (shown below).

Wojak Comics

About

Wojak Comics refers to a series of memes depicting simple interactions between various Wojak characters. Combining elements of comics and Wojak memes, the format was spawned by the Yes Chad meme format in August 2019 and has since grown into a variety of similar comic formats.

Origin

Yes Chad

While separate instances of memes based on interactions between Wojak characters existed before, such as NPC Wojak comics, the Wojak Comics trend started with the arrival of Yes Chad format in August 2019.

On August 1st, 2019, Twitter [1] user @yachs_91 posted an image combining an instance of the Grayons meme and a variation of Nordic / Mediterranean exploitable (shown below). [1] The tweet gained over 230 retweets and 930 likes in one month.

In the following weeks, more variations of the meme appeared on Twitter, 4chan, Reddit and other platforms, with the original image used both as a reaction and an exploitable.

Precursors

Wojak Comics stem from Wojak and Nordic / Mediterranean meme formats. Although Nordic / Mediterranean has a different origin from other Wojak memes, it currently comprises an essential part of Wojak Comics.

Wojak

Wojak, also known as Feels Guy, is an MS Paint illustration of a bald man with a sad expression on his face. It is often used as a reaction image to represent feelings such as melancholy, regret or loneliness.

I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro. I know that feel bro

According to «ask me anything» (AMA) thread on Reddit [2] by a user claiming to be Krautchan user Wojak, the bald man illustration was originally discovered on the imageboard vichan with the filename «twarz.jpg.» The image was subsequently popularized as a reaction image after Wojak submitted it to the German language image board Krautchan in May 2010. The image, which became known as “Wojak’s face,» spread to other international image boards, including the Italian Pastachan [3] and the Russian Dobrochan.

Starting in 2018, Wojak spawned multiple subvariations such as 30-Year-Old Boomer, Doomer, Coomer and other Oomer Wojaks.

Nordic / Mediterranean

Nordic / Mediterranean refers to a series of memes in which various races, sub-races, and nationalities, primarily Nordic and Mediterranean, are compared to each other through use of archetypal exploitable images.

On December 2nd, 2016, an anonymous 4chan user posted an image of people of Nordic and Mediterranian subraces meant to demonstrate the superiority of the latter over the former to /pol/ board (shown below). [4] The format received notable spread on /pol/ starting in December 2016.

Notable Formats

In the second half of 2019, Yes Chad became one of the most dominant meme formats online, with mememakers introducing new characters into the format, most notably Trad Girl, Daddy’s Girl and Mommy E-Thot. However, the formula of the original format did not change until early January 2020 when Doomer Girl was introduced, with more variations spawning in the following months.

On April 12th, 2020, Redditor [7] Nichijoke posted a meme that compared reactions to spoilers of the fans of the slice-of-life anime series Nichijou and other animes, presenting the fans as Chads and Soyjaks (shown below, left). In the following months, the meme evolved into a Wojak Comic format in which Soyjaks get disappointed about certain something, while Chads accepts failings and drawbacks of their subject of discussion or laugh at them.

I Don’t Believe in That Nonsense / So True

The origin of the format is currently unknown. On June 1st, 2020, Twitter [8] user @ArizonaReloaded made the earliest found repost of the meme following the format.

In the original meme (shown below, left), an exchange between Daddy’s Girl and Soyjak takes place, with Soyjak stating that he does not believe in astrology, a pseudoscience, but at the same time believes in the scientific validity of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator, reacting with the «bean mouth» smile, a typical element of the CalArts cartoon drawing style. The meme spawned a Wojak Comic format in which various beliefs are likened to pseudoscience or otherwise disregarded as invalid.

I Know That Feel Bro»

И, как вы уже увидели в превью, рисовать мы будем очень популярный мем «I Know That Feel Bro».

I Know That Feel Bro — давайте начнём наш урок и узнаем, как нарисовать этот мем!

Это был урок, посвящённый тому, как нарисовать мем «I Know That Feel Bro».
