I cannot find a list of mods made for this game.

I find them here and there randomly, but I know there are more. I believed there was only the region lock removal, but I found the weapon xp mod which is great for me.

The only mod list I have found are for the alpha.

Are u sure these mods are safe from virus?

Thanks, it’s safer not modding at all. As I am playing with weapon xp I will format everything and reset my pc to zero.

Not sure what you mean by all that, or where you’re trying to go with your response.

But anyway, got «disrespectful» post for that, even though loads of people have teased him on this, and even started threads dedicated to teasing him in the posts that I already linked, yet they remain up. interesting.

But he insists on continuing this narrative, despite being proved wrong «respectfully» by the community on his understanding on how the mods even work. And just because your AV gets a red flag on something doesn’t mean it’s actually bad.

These mods are essentially cheats, they change memory addresses, telling Cubeworld to change how it behaves, so it’s natural to expect at least some AVs to look at it funny because it isn’t a «normal» mod. In a way they’re a bit like Game Genie which also changed memory addresses, but was never officially licensed by Nintendo. But until CubeWorld gets an API like Steam Workshop, (which will be never) this is your only resort.

Some of the mods even have linked VirustTotal reports on them, an apparently very reputable program, but you’re more than welcome to scan it yourself if you know what you’re doing.

Despite all this proof, weeks go by and he still insists on fear-mongering anyone that wants to try and mod the game with mods anywhere out of the non-existent Steam Workshop for Cubeworld, as if it were the only reliable source for mods, and actively discourages people to do so based on that false understanding, which sorry, I don’t exactly condone. I mean, one of the mods that he thinks is»malicious» (all of them) has it’s own sticky in these forums linking to them.

If he’s not going to listen to reason and just continue to outright lie to others on what was already proven to be safe, with things like getting their keys stolen (when it’s already been used the moment they purchased it), or magical fantasies of «mice» infecting your computer, he shouldn’t be surprised if someone gets a little snarky when it’s obvious he won’t listen to people talking normally. He needs to grow some skin, realize when he’s wrong, do research, and know what he’s saying before he says it.

I understand about being safe, but his paranoia is beyond reason and refuses to listen despite the feedback. reasonable or «disrespectful» otherwise. By all means, we should all be careful when a new mod comes, but it’s just rather silly to not use it once the general consensus has already said it’s fine.

You are absolutely right. I formatted my pc to zero, installed weapons xp and it’s mod loader (red flagged as malicious virus), given permission and my pc and my data are ok.

I posted that because my computer started behaving strangely expeceially when booted, that’s why I pointed out that mods can actually be viruses.
Instead it was something else that I have solved by resetting my PC.

At least I am sure that Frognik’s mod loader is safe.

A Cube World mod adding item/enemy scaling, useful artifact stats, modified item spawn rates, and pvp.

When you first join the game with the mod on a new character, you have an undefined «center point». This point should be set once per character with the «/setcenter» command. As you travel away from this point, the hp and damage of enemies and NPCs will steadily increase. Item drops from these further out regions will also have increased stats.

This version of the mod is ported to work with ChrisMiuchiz’s Cube World Mod Launcher in order to improve compatibility with Better Biomes and other mods that use the Cube World Mod Launcher.

This mod is currently up to date with version 1.02 of arishackstv’s cubemod.

The Weapon XP Mod changes the way leveling works in Cube World by detaching it from the artifact collection system.
Instead the levels shown are weapon levels derived from weapon rarity and each star of rarity adds 5 levels.

For example a white item starts at level 0, a green weapon starts at level 5 and a blue weapon starts at level 10 an so forth.
Hitting enemies with your equipped right hand weapon will add XP towards leveling up that weapon to the next rarity level.

You’ll need 5 levels worth of XP higher than the base rarity level before the
weapon rarity will increase, basically rarity increases at levels 5, 10,15, 20, etc.
Swapping out weapons will reset that weapon level and experience to the weapons base rarity
level so make sure you level it up before swapping.

If you’re willing you can over level weapons beyond the 5 star yellow rating however it’ll take a lot of XP to get that far.
This mod is still in development and may have some bugs so make sure you start a fresh character.

Supports injecting Cube World mods. DLLs must go in a folder called «Mods».

A «Mods» folder should be created in the same folder as cubeworld.exe, and mods should be installed by moving them into the Mods folder. Upon starting the game, you will be asked whether you want to launch with mods. If you click «Yes» a dialog box will display all the mods which have been loaded. If you click «No» then the vanilla game will launch.

Building the launcher or mods

All mods MUST include cwmods.h from cwsdk to function. The building environment required for the launcher and loader are the same as for cwsdk.

Как ни странно, в Cube World играют люди и для них еще появляются моды. По этой причине я хочу рассказать вам, как установить моды в Cube World.

1. Установить программу AssetBrowser

2. Открываем программу. Нажимаем кнопку «File», далее ищем папку с игрой, выделяем ее и нажимаем «Ок».

3. Открываем data1 и видим, что справа у нас появляются элементы игры в таблице. И еще кнопка «Edit», она то нам и нужна.

4. Нажмите на кнопку «Edit», затем на кнопку «Insert». Выберите файлы мода. Нажмите ок.

ВСЁ. Файлы обновились, теперь можете начать игру с выбранными модами!

Overview

This is a step by step guide on how to create mods for Cube World for complete beginners. No previous experience is required, although a computer science background will make it easier. «Cube World is a voxel-based action RPG with a focus on exploration. It takes place in a procedurally generated fantasy world made up entirely of cubes.» [1]

Introduction

Making mods for a game means modifying some of the content of said game and usually being able to share those modifications with others.

Creating mods is a process that involves programming on multiple levels, especially for Cube World. In this guide we will cover topics like x86 assembly, c++, reverse engineering, hooks, processes, byte overwriting, dll compilation, source control and more. However do not worry. Even though these might all seem daunting terms, most are simpler than you think. I hope your are as exited for this as I am!

Before we finally get started, let me introduce myself. I am known as Nichiren in the Cube World modding scene and I have been actively modding Cube World for 3 years. During this time I have created or worked on more than half of the mods that exist for the steam release version of Cube World. Lets get this thing started.

Requirements

To mod Cube World you will need the following:

Except for the cost of Cube World, modding this game can be done entirely for free. All programs used to mod or aid modding are free of charge at the moment of this writing.

Setup

Cube World

Cheat Engine

Downloading Cheat Engine is relatively simple. Go to https://www.cheatengine.org/ and click the big green button (yeah it looks very shady I know. ) to start the download. You might need to turn off your virus scanner to download this application since there is a chance that it will flag it as a virus. Just install regularly, but make sure you do not install all the optional programs you do not need. Pressing skip all will just make you download Cheat Engine only. Once you finished the installation, there should be a new shortcut called `Cheat Engine` on your Desktop.

Cheat Table

Finding out everything about Cube World yourself using Cheat Engine is (although very fun) a time-consuming process. Therefore we are going to be lazy a bit and will be using the work an awesome person (Geo) has done for us. Geo made a cheat table with addresses (variables) of a lot of things in Cube World already defined, as well as added in a few handy scripts! Thanks a lot, Geo for doing that and making our lives easier. Follow the link: https://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10355&sid=9979bee81dae2d58382b96df9fd9d929#p104856 and download the file called `cubeworld 1.0.0-1 V5.zip` (password is: geo). After downloading it, unzip it using your unzipper of preference and place the resulting cheat table in a place you can find it back.

Steamless

Steam adds its own code to games to make sure people are not able to use things like Cheat Engine to access and modify the game easily. Therefore we can use a program called Steamless to remove this code. Download the latest release from https://github.com/atom0s/Steamless/releases and unzip the folder using 7zip.

Double click `Steamless.exe` to run it. Locate `cubeworld.exe` as shown in the image and click the `Unpack File` button.

After that, locate your `cubeworld.exe` again in your file explorer. In this folder, you will see the following files

Rename `cubeworld.exe` to `cubeworld_packed.exe` and then rename `cubeworld.exe.unpacked.exe` to `cubeworld.exe`. Once you have done that, it should look like this:

You have done this correctly if the `cubeworld.exe` has a smaller size than the `cubeworld_packed.exe`. (5.623KB compared to 5.800KB for me)

On top of Cheat Engine, which is used to dynamically (while the game is running) look at Cube World, we will also use IDA to statically (while the game is not running) look at Cube World. More information on why, when, and how we are using this program will be discussed later. For now, let’s get to installing this program. Simply go to https://hex-rays.com/ida-free/ and install it. No crazy things are required, just follow the installation process and bob’s your uncle. If anything does not work, follow this simple and short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWUXwndice0

Visual Studio

Downloading and installing visual studio is needed to be able to create more advanced mods and share them with others. Cheat engine

While modding Cube World, Cheat Engine is used for dynamic analysis of the game. Dynamic analysis in this case means looking at values stored in the game while it is running. The interesting things we are looking at are the actual values of the ‘variables’ (Link to what variables are) and when they are used. These variables can be anything; the health of the players, monsters, or bosses, identifying values (IDs) of objects, quests, and items. Everything from the smallest flower to the biggest mountain range is data (another word for variable/part of a variable) stored and used in the game. They also have their specific pieces of code (logic to create and interact with variables) which we will modify to create new things in Cube World.

It is expected to have Cheat Engine installed and to have Cube World set up as described in the Setup section. It is highly recommended but not necessary to do the Cheat Engine tutorial before you start with this section. The tutorial being referred to is the built-in Cheat Engine tutorial that pops up when you start Cheat Engine for the first time. More information about tutorials for Cheat Engine can be found here: https://www.cheatengine.org/tutorials.php. Doing the tutorial provides you with solid basic knowledge for using Cheat Engine and modding Cube World. On top of that, the C++ and x86 Assembly discussed later in this guide will become easier to grasp as well.

Starting Cheat Engine

Starting Cheat Engine is as simple as locating `Cheat Engine.exe` on your computer. If you have followed the Setup section properly, this should be on your Desktop. Double click the file to open it. This should give you the following popup:

Pressing yes should start Cheat Engine. If you are prompted with doing a tutorial and you have not done that yet, it is highly recommended to do so.

Once Cheat Engine is started, you want to start Cube World. This can be done from the Steam Client itself or from a shortcut located on your computer. Cube World is fully loaded if you can hear the music and move the cursor in the main menu. When this is the case, you can load Cube World in Cheat Engine using the following steps.

Cube World should now be loaded in Cheat Engine and you are ready to start using Cheat Engine to mod Cube World!

Finding Variables

Now that Cube World is loaded, we can start finding data or variables (from now on just called variables) in Cube World. These variables are everywhere in the game. Some are more visible than others. The easiest variables to find are the ones that are very visible in the game, such as the health of the player. Therefore we will be finding that first.

Before you start finding a variable, it is smart to list everything you know and can find about that variable first. So let’s do that for the player health variable:

Keeping this knowledge in mind we can start searching for the health variable. First, make sure that you have created a new character so that you will not lose an important character of yours by accident.

As you can see in the image, the current health of my character is 151. This is only a whole value representation of the health, most likely because we can take damage values smaller than 1. It could be something like 151.124123123 in Cube World itself. Therefore we will start searching for a value (float) between 150 and 152, which can also represent non-whole numbers (4.5 or 3.14). Integers can only represent whole numbers, while floats can also represent these non-whole numbers. Searching for a float with these requirements can be done in Cheat Engine using the following setup and pressing the `First Scan` button.

As you will notice, there are a lot of results found. For me, there were around 28 thousand. We will have to lower this amount to a few to be able to find our variable. The method of doing this is making sure that the variable we are interested in changed (or stays the same) and doing `Next Scan` a few times. Since our health did not change yet, we can first filter out all variables that changed in the meantime. This can be done by selecting the scan type `Unchanged Value`, checking the `Repeat` checkbox, and pressing `Next Scan`.

To cancel the search, simply click the `Repeat` checkbox. This unchanged value searching did not lower the number of results by a lot for me, but it is different in every case, so it might have for you. The next thing to do to lower the number of results is to make sure our health variable changes and then do a `Next Scan` again. To change our health variable, we will find a somewhat higher spot and jump off. We will take some damage then.

Tip: Don’t jump from a place too high and make sure there are no enemies nearby!

Once you have a good spot you jumped off and taken some damage, you can do a new search with the search type `Decreased Value`.

Try and repeat this multiple times, lowering the number of results you have. If you are getting low on health, you can press Q in-game to use a potion and regen your health. Make sure to do a scan with search type `Increased Value` after that! If you have around 3 results with the same value remaining as me, you are good to go. To add these three variables to your address list, you can simply double-click them. They will appear in your address list like this:

To look at which of these 3 variables is the correct one, you can change their value by double-clicking on their value (like highlighted in the image) and changing it. If after changing 1, all 3 change then you have found the correct variable. You can delete the others by selecting them and pressing delete. Keeping only the correct one is the goal.

Congratulations, you have now found your first variable in a real game using Cheat Engine! You can change this value all you like so if you were to play right now you could basically regen your health at any point, to any value you wish. Exiting isn’t it?! Let’s keep going to do more awesome stuff!

This is a large mod for CubeWorld steam version. It adds underwater exploration, combat modifications, lore improvements, gold usages and more.

If anyone is in need for help with creating their own mods or a collaboration, don’t hesitate to contact me. I am always glad to help and work with you. My discord is: Nichiren#3660.

Be safe and back up your save data when playing with mods

Features of this mod include sea exploration, lore interactions and combat improvements. This mods also allowins the user to select which parts of the mod they want to have enabled while playing the game. These preferences will be saved and taken next time you start up the game.

NOTE THAT EVERY SEPERATE FEATURE CAN BE DISABLED WITH THE CHAT

Sea exploration [ID: 1]

Going underwater will spawn random hostile fishes around you. Going underwater usually drains stamina. This is still the case, however now 10 gold is automatically used to gain the underwater breathing ability for 10 seconds. On top of that, underwater exploring is rewarded with random chests spawning every 60 seconds. The chest types are:

Next to that, random bosses spawn while diving. These can get be really strong (500k hp for example), so only take them on when you are geared up with 5+ star gear.

Lore interactions [ID: 2]

Lore interactions are updated. Now, whenever you interaction with a lore object, you have a chance of finding an item. In the chat, a message will appear on how this item was found. The rates for finding items are the following:

Combat improvements [ID: 3]

New combat abilities added:

If the doubletap functionality is active, the following abilities can be activated by double tapping the mentioned key. If it is disabled, it can be activated using leftControl + mentioned key.

Creature updates [ID: 4]

Stat updates to mobs and pets.

Shop Updates [ID: 5]

World Generation Updates [ID: 6]

Beginner Mode [ID: 7]

Region Lock Updates [ID: 8]

Weapon Upgrading [ID: 9]

New Quests [ID: 10]

Player updates [ID: 11]

Stack updates mod [ID: 12]

Spirit cubes are available again in the game. They can be bought from the weapon vendor for 25g each! Checkout the Shop Updates [ID: 5] part of the mod.

Download the latest version from the releases. Put the CubeMegaMod-v.x.x.x.dll of one of the releases in your mod folder. For usage of the mod, checkout the attached readme. For v.1.2.0+, the usage is the following:

This is a list of the possible features I am considering for this mod. Everything with a preceding [possible] is simply an idea that I might take a look into. Everything without the preceding possible is likely to be implemented at one point in this mod.

2. Increased Supplier Gnome Usefullness.

8. Buffing climbing speed by think of 100%. (The jumping hack is faster than climbing)

Моды cube world

Как ни странно, в Cube World играют люди и для них еще появляются моды. По этой причине я хочу рассказать вам, как установить моды в Cube World.

1. Установить программу AssetBrowser

2. Открываем программу. Нажимаем кнопку «File», далее ищем папку с игрой, выделяем ее и нажимаем «Ок».

3. Открываем data1 и видим, что справа у нас появляются элементы игры в таблице. И еще кнопка «Edit», она то нам и нужна.

4. Нажмите на кнопку «Edit», затем на кнопку «Insert». Выберите файлы мода. Нажмите ок.

ВСЁ. Файлы обновились, теперь можете начать игру с выбранными модами!

Cube World Мод 1.11.2, 1.10.2, 1.9.4, 1.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.2, 1.6.4, 1.6.2, 1.5.2

Cube World это замечательный, старый и очень популярный мод для minecraft всех версий на новую генерацию мира. Скачай себе мод на новую кубическую генерацию мира в minecraft’e. Для этого тебе нужно скачать мод Cube World, зайти в игру, создать новый мир и выбрать кубическую генерацию мира. Теперь зайдя в игру ты сможешь увидеть совсем новый и очень необычный мир который будет складываться из множества кубиков, кубики будут из стекла, а в середине них будут биомы. Самые кубики будут парить в небе. Такой мир имеет просто эпичный мир. Выживать в таком мире будет не просто потому что тебе нужно будет перемещаться между блоками в поисках предметов и вещей для выживания. Всем советую скачать и поиграть с этим модом потому что он понравился уже тысячам игрокам. Все детали по моду видны на скриншотах и видео.

Artifacts give combat boosts. This mod is made for people who like the new progression system and region lock but want actual progression instead of only movement boosts. This is not in anyway trying to emulate progression in Alpha, just to improve the progression system in the release version.

Download CubeModLoader.fip from https://github.com/ChrisMiuchiz/Cube-World-Mod-Launcher/releases and place it in your Cube World folder (should be Steam\steamapps\common\Cube World). Make a folder called «Mods» (without quotes) in your Cube World folder and put LichModsCubegression.dll in that Mods folder.

As we enter December and look forward to the coming New Year, this is a time when many religions and cultures around the world celebrate major holidays. 2020 has been a really hard year all across the world. From pandemic to social unrest, from economic downturn to the food and housing insecurities created by all of, it has been an exceptionally trying time.

Now is when kindness, empathy, compassion, and understanding are more important than ever. We all need to try to come together, in spirit, to support one another. While most of us are having to stay physically apart to help protect each other from this deadly pandemic, it doesn’t mean that we can’t still be there to help one another. So many right now are suffering more than ever: fear of catching this horrible disease, anxiety over how to pay the bills due to lost jobs, loneliness at being isolated.

Unlike in the past, our global community is more connected than ever. Reach out to one another. Let people know that you care. Check on your family and friends. And if you’re one of the ones that is struggling, reach out to others* and ask for help. There is no shame in it. This is hard on everyone. Be kind and gentle with yourself as much as you can, because right now no one is at their best.

If you are able, donate. Donate money to your local food banks. Donate gently used items to local good works organizations. Donate your time to places that you have the ability to assist. There are many places that you can help while still remaining within your own home if it isn’t safe to go out (whether for yourself or for the community at large). Check with local volunteer organizations, they are more than happy to help match you up with somewhere that will suit your unique circumstances and abilities.

Please be kind. Be patient. Show grace. Understand that it isn’t the cashier’s fault that the store is out of the item you need. Realize that the delivery driver is just trying to survive, the same as you. Recognize that your favorite restaurant has had to pivot, and pivot, and pivot yet again to try to remain open in one fashion or another so they can continue to serve you. Support local businesses as much as possible.

Listen to the public health experts. Follow the advice of the scientists and medical personnel that are working at a feverish pace to understand and find treatments for this new disease. Yes, the advice changes from time to time. That’s because this is brand new. That’s how science works. As they learn about it, they figure out what works and what doesn’t. They are doing their best. Help them.

And please, hold a thought for our front line health care workers. They are exhausted. Please do your part. Stay home if you can. Wear a mask if you need to go out. Don’t gather in large groups. Wash your hands.

We will get through this, together. For the pandemic, hope is on the horizon. There are so many different vaccines that are showing great promise, at this point. As for the rest, if we hold to one another, if we care about each other, we can pull through. Humanity has always shown its best when things have been really tough but we’ve helped each other. Hold on. We’ll make it.

Игроки в Minecraft любят моды для создания новых уникальных миров, недоступных для обычных алгоритмов игры. Мод Cube World является одним из таких генерирующих модулей, который создаёт разные биомы в гигантских стеклянных кубах в небесах, над бескрайним простором внизу.

В кубических мирах есть и своя вода, и немало. Однако не во всех, и это одна из причин создавать соединяющие туннели между кубами.

Генерация руды в этом моде была скорректирована, и при удаче можно найти россыпь алмазов лишь слегка копнув землю. Есть кубы с подземельями внутри, со спаунерами мобов, заброшенными шахтами и крепостями. Можно ещё не входя в куб понять, что вас там ожидает и сколько придётся копать.

Всем привет, сегодня я подробно расскажу как же на самом желе нужно устанавливать моды в игре Cube World, какие программы или дополнение для этого нужны и тд. Для установки мода в Cube World вам потребуется: 1. Скачать архив с модом и распаковать его. 2. Запустить программу Asset Browser (если у вас ее нет, то СКАЧАЙТЕ ЕЁ из этого раздела сайта ) 3. Далее жмем File (Ctrl+0) >>> выбираем папку с игрой Cube World и жмем ok: 4. После этого выбираем data 1 и перед нами открывается множество различных системных папок из игры + появляется кнопка Edit: 5. Нажимаем на Edit >>> Insert >>> в окне, которое открылось, идем в папку с модом >>> выбираем соответствующий файл (кликаем по нему 2 раза): 6.
