Nach dem ich von meinem letzten Still Life In Rio sehr enttäuscht war, weil es nicht mehr so roch wie ich es kannte bin ich jetzt wieder voll begeistert. Es richt wieder wie ich es kenne.

This is the brand’s first experience of picking a destination, yet the approach remains staunchly photographic. The eyes are treated to a unique view of the bay. Prior to falling in love with the perfumer profession and her training at ISIPCA, Dora Baghriche had dreams of writing and becoming senior field reporter.

Imbued with Mediterranean warmth, Dora spent her childhood between two cities and two cultures: Alger and Paris. With both her grandmothers being pastry chefs, she developed a passion for indulgence. She inherited an olfactory memory of pine nut crème, cinnamon treats, and a waft of almonds.

Dora’s curiosity and fanciful mind have led her to meet many aspiring artists whose eclecticism she admires. Many of her friends are musicians, filmmakers, and actors from all walks of life. Her own geographic itinerary is varied and expansive: from the Mediterranean scrublands to the landscapes of Asia, with a stop-off in New York where she once lived and learned much.

Flávio Veloso is a young Brazilian photographer who specialized in nature shots during his numerous trips in Brazil. Passionate about walking through the parks of Rio de Janeiro, he knew from an early age that photography would hold an important place in his life. He earned a degree in biology, another vantage point for viewing nature.

Now a professional photographer, he lives in Florianopolis and does photo-reportage in lush Brazilian forests while also expanding his collection of artistic photographs, which he regularly exhibits in galleries.

This is the brand’s first experience of picking a destination, yet the approach remains staunchly photographic. The eyes are treated to a unique view of the bay. Taken by Brazilian photographer Flavio Veloso, the picture captures Rio’s beauty at that special moment when the sky ignites and spreads its golden shroud. At dawn, he ventured to the emblematic Corcovado where the majestic statue of Christ stands. The picture was snapped from the viewing platform at the peak. A moment in time that conveys strength and fullness.

A visual ballet spawns poetic emotion. Rio awakens… This ever-renewing impetus is what Still Life in Rio seeks to capture: a vibrant and expanding perfume that promises a day full of light and motion.

Perfumer Dora Baghriche

Prior to falling in love with the perfumer profession and her training at ISIPCA, Dora Baghriche had dreams of writing and becoming senior field reporter.

Imbued with Mediterranean warmth, Dora spent her childhood between two cities and two cultures: Alger and Paris. With both her grandmothers being pastry chefs, she developed a passion for indulgence. She inherited an olfactory memory of pine nut crème, cinnamon treats, and a waft of almonds.

Dora’s curiosity and fanciful mind have led her to meet many aspiring artists whose eclecticism she admires. Many of her friends are musicians, filmmakers, and actors from all walks of life. Her own geographic itinerary is varied and expansive: from the Mediterranean scrublands to the landscapes of Asia, with a stop-off in New York where she once lived and learned much.

Photographer Flávio Veloso

Flávio Veloso is a young Brazilian photographer who specialized in nature shots during his numerous trips in Brazil. Passionate about walking through the parks of Rio de Janeiro, he knew from an early age that photography would hold an important place in his life. He earned a degree in biology, another vantage point for viewing nature.

Now a professional photographer, he lives in Florianopolis and does photo-reportage in lush Brazilian forests while also expanding his collection of artistic photographs, which he regularly exhibits in galleries.

Dora is a rising star of perfumery. After graduating from the ISIPCA School of Perfumery in 2005, she underwent a three-year training stint in perfumery at Firmenich in Geneva, New York, and Paris. She was inducted as a perfumer at age 30 and has recently designed the latest Versace fragrance. Dora spent her childhood between two cities and two cultures: Algiers and Paris. Immersed in the warmth of the Mediterranean, Dora has forever retained the memory of the hospitable ambiance of the streets of Algiers and the olfactory imprints of endless landscapes.

Frédéric Lebain graduated valedictorian from the Ferrandi Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française and made his first impressions in culinary styling before turning to photography. A consummate artist of detournement, he comes up with elegant, daring, and playful compositions for fine magazines and leading luxury houses. He has an out-of-the-box vision of objects and everyday scenes, and loves combining aesthetic vision with technical discoveries. Frédéric Lebain makes us dream. We forget technique, keeping only the instant of magic. He exhibits frequently in Paris and has published several photography books that show us places and wonderful events with the mischievousness of the eternal adolescent.

Prior to falling in love with the perfumer profession and her training at ISIPCA, Dora Baghriche had dreams of writing and becoming senior field reporter.

Imbued with Mediterranean warmth, Dora spent her childhood between two cities and two cultures: Alger and Paris. With both her grandmothers being pastry chefs, she developed a passion for indulgence. She inherited an olfactory memory of pine nut crème, cinnamon treats, and a waft of almonds.

Dora’s curiosity and fanciful mind have led her to meet many aspiring artists whose eclecticism she admires. Many of her friends are musicians, filmmakers, and actors from all walks of life. Her own geographic itinerary is varied and expansive: from the Mediterranean scrublands to the landscapes of Asia, with a stop-off in New York where she once lived and learned much.

C’est un point de vue inédit sur la baie qui s’offre au regard : le photographe brésilien Flavio Veloso, auteur de l’image, a saisi la beauté de Rio à un moment unique, à l’instant où le ciel s’enflamme et se nimbe d’un voile d’or. Il s’est rendu à l’aube sur le site symbolique du Corcovado où se tient la majestueuse statue du Christ. C’est depuis son promontoire que le cliché est réalisé. De ses deux grand-mères pâtissières, elle a gardé un rapport passionnel à la gourmandise. En héritage, une mémoire olfactive où se mêlent crème aux pignons de pin, délices à la cannelle et effluve d’amande.

Dora est curieuse et son esprit fantasque la pousse à aller à la rencontre d’artistes souvent inconnus dont elle admire la richesse. Nombre de ses amis sont musiciens, cinéastes, comédiens, venus de tous horizons. Ses horizons à elle ont des géographies variables ; des maquis méditerranéens aux paysages d’Asie, en passant par la ville de New York, où elle a vécu et beaucoup appris.

Imprégnée de douceur méditerranéenne, Dora a passé son enfance partagée entre deux villes, deux cultures : Alger et Paris. De ses deux grand-mères pâtissières, elle a gardé un rapport passionnel à la gourmandise. En héritage, une mémoire olfactive où se mêlent crème aux pignons de pin, délices à la cannelle et effluve d’amande.

Dora est curieuse et son esprit fantasque la pousse à aller à la rencontre d’artistes souvent inconnus dont elle admire la richesse. Nombre de ses amis sont musiciens, cinéastes, comédiens, venus de tous horizons. Ses horizons à elle ont des géographies variables ; des maquis méditerranéens aux paysages d’Asie, en passant par la ville de New York, où elle a vécu et beaucoup appris.

Dancing Light appare in un soffio epurato di fiori color neve. Quasi ghiacciato.

Vibrante e pieno di contrasti, Dancing Light ha le connotazioni delle aurore boreali che l’hanno ispirato. La Menta Glaciale e gli Aghi di Pino di Siberia portano una brezza più fredda e successivamente un mazzo di fiori bianchi (Gelsomino, Neroli, Seringa) danza nel cuore, scaldato dal Legno di Sandalo.

Nach dem ich von meinem letzten Still Life In Rio sehr enttäuscht war, weil es nicht mehr so roch wie ich es kannte bin ich jetzt wieder voll begeistert. Es richt wieder wie ich es kenne.

Moi qui suis très difficile pour les parfums, j’ai adoré celui-ci.
Même avec une seule vaporisation, son odeur persiste toute la journée, ce que j’apprécie également.

«Still Life» in Rio or the Peaceful Life

This is the brand’s first experience of picking a destination, yet the approach remains staunchly photographic. The eyes are treated to a unique view of the bay. Taken by Brazilian photographer Flavio Veloso, the picture captures Rio’s beauty at that special moment when the sky ignites and spreads its golden shroud. At dawn, he ventured to the emblematic Corcovado where the majestic statue of Christ stands. The picture was snapped from the viewing platform at the peak. A moment in time that conveys strength and fullness.

A visual ballet spawns poetic emotion. Rio awakens… This ever-renewing impetus is what Still Life in Rio seeks to capture: a vibrant and expanding perfume that promises a day full of light and motion.

Perfumer Dora Baghriche

Prior to falling in love with the perfumer profession and her training at ISIPCA, Dora Baghriche had dreams of writing and becoming senior field reporter.

Imbued with Mediterranean warmth, Dora spent her childhood between two cities and two cultures: Alger and Paris. With both her grandmothers being pastry chefs, she developed a passion for indulgence. She inherited an olfactory memory of pine nut crème, cinnamon treats, and a waft of almonds.

Dora’s curiosity and fanciful mind have led her to meet many aspiring artists whose eclecticism she admires. Many of her friends are musicians, filmmakers, and actors from all walks of life. Her own geographic itinerary is varied and expansive: from the Mediterranean scrublands to the landscapes of Asia, with a stop-off in New York where she once lived and learned much.

Photographer Flávio Veloso

Flávio Veloso is a young Brazilian photographer who specialized in nature shots during his numerous trips in Brazil. Passionate about walking through the parks of Rio de Janeiro, he knew from an early age that photography would hold an important place in his life. He earned a degree in biology, another vantage point for viewing nature.

Now a professional photographer, he lives in Florianopolis and does photo-reportage in lush Brazilian forests while also expanding his collection of artistic photographs, which he regularly exhibits in galleries.

Perfumer Thomas Fontaine

An independent perfumer, Thomas is a graduate of the prestigious International Perfume Institute (ISIPCA) of the Ecole de Versailles.

An avid classical music lover and a baritone singer in his spare time, this fragrance archeologist, who loves tweaking old formulas as much creating contemporary and original accords, finds inspiration in culinary delights and history alike.

He has worked for producers of fragrance raw materials such as Mane, Charabot, Technico Flor in France, Germany, and the United States.

He creates fragrances for several exclusive brands such as Lubin and Grès. He is also the nose for perfume houses Jean Patou, Worth, Jean-Louis Scherrer, and Agent Provocateur.

SEPIA, Olfactive Studio’s new collection is born: six Extrait de Parfums whose precious and sophisticated compositions highlight the aura of exceptional and highly concentrated raw materials (20%).

Each Extrait de Parfum in the Sepia collection preludes with a raw material or an accord. The first trio created by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour and inspired by the Land Art landscapes by photographer Martin Hill showcases Vanilla, Leather and a Chypre accord with Vanilla Shot, Leather Shot and Chypre Shot.

The second trilogy is the masterpiece of perfumer Dominique Ropion. Inspired by three Roberto Greco photographs, this floral triptych brings together olfactory and visual universes and features Iris Shot, Violet Shot and Rose Shot.

Photography and fragrance echo and enhance each other. The rose, iris and violet notes showcased in each Extrait are classics in perfumery, and Dominique Ropion has succeeded in reinventing them and expressing the incredible richness of these classic ingredients. Annick Menardo was born in Cannes. She inherited a green thumb and an innate attraction to scents. Annick views creation as a solitary pursuit. Born in 1976, Suren started taking photographs when he was sixteen and became a professional photographer in 2006.
