После 400 главы идет сразу 426, а они в свою очередь находятся в промежутке между 665 и 666 главой. Так же между 711 и 713 главой стоит номер 598, хотя глава 598 есть…. странно это все)

Культивация (совершенствование) относится к главному герою, пытающемуся обрести бессмертие и / или высшую силу путем накопления и использования Ци.

В зависимости от желания автора, демоны могут быть представлены в множестве различных вариациях: некое абстрактное зло; раса, которая хороша в темных искусствах в фэнтези; звери, которые превзошли определенный уровень культивации в рамках произведений, основанных на китайской мифологии и т.д.

Сюжет работы подразумевает прохождение «небесного испытания» одним из ключевых персонажей.

In the Tian Yuan Little World, 12 Empyrean Heavens and Chaos Heavens, the cultivation ranks of cultivators can be divided into several realms, of those we currently know the names and details of are twelve.

A person’s body has “Spirit”, “Qi” and “Soul”. In the flesh was “Spirit”, while the soul was about the “Soul”, as for the energy, it was “Qi”.

When a warrior practiced the arts, he would attempt to clear his meridians after his body was completely trained. It was the first step on the path of martial arts.

As warriors practice martial arts to train their bodies, they go from the Mortal Blood realm to the Purple Blood realm. On the basis of having strong physical bodies, they would lay the Yuan Foundation, plant a Dao Seed in the Yuan Foundation, and grow a Divine Tree from the Dao Seed. And this Divine Tree will constantly grow till it pierced through the divine clouds, straight into the Heavenly Dao, paving the road to Heaven Ascension.

Warriors will then condense nomological fruits on the Dao Tree to break through to the Dao Manifestation, fuse them together to establish a Dao Palace with floors as their goals, then Shatter the Dao Palace to condense a nomological body to achieve Supremacy.

Upon having reached the pinnacle of Supremacy, the cultivator will form a Divine Lord/Dao Seal! Some are able to condense their own Divine Lord Royal Seal, some use a Godly Monarch Royal Seal, and, with a Heavenly Dao Fragment, create a Heavenly Dao Royal Seal! Upon becoming a Divine Lord, one will form one new Divine Lord Seal. Upon having formed both, one needs to thoroughly understand their Daos and their Divine Lord Seals.

To become a Godly Monarch, one must have an unfathomably high level of ‘Fate’ and ‘Luck’. For those in the Chaos Heavens/12 Empyrean Heavens/Sinkhole, the Heavenly Dao governing them must be intact in order for them to become a Godly Monarch! Yi Yun was able to become a Godly Monarch due to the fact he received the three origin artifacts from Lin Ming’s ring and because one of his seals was formed from a Heavenly Dao Fragment. During his time, he is the only known person of the younger generation who was able to become a Godly Monarch. Only until after the Ancestor God was killed and Yi Yun restored the Heavenly Dao did new Godly Monarchs appear. To become a Godly Monarch once one has met all the requirements, a cultivator must successfully absorb their Divine Lord Seals and become one with their Dao! Upon doing so, one will form a supreme soul and gain a supreme body capable of destroying the heavens!

Since the birth of cultivation in the universe, the Godly Monarch Realm has been regarded as the absolute apex of martial arts! However, this is not true! To achieve the state beyond the Godly Monarch Realm, one’s Spirit, Qi, and Soul, must have reached a level in which it surpasses the limits of the Heavenly Dao! Combined with these three basic requirements is a stimulus that is able to allow them to break open the barrier set by the Heavenly Dao! And then, one must successfully understand the state of being above the Heavenly Dao! This process can take a thousand years, a million, a billion, it can take an entire epoch! However, if a cultivator succeeds, they will have officially become an existence that is capable of shouldering the universe and standing on the same level as the Heavenly Dao! One’s thoughts are the law, one’s action can reverse the universe, one’s breath can cause the world to collapse!

True Martial World wasn’t ranked among the largest of the Divine Realm’s 3000 great worlds, but it did have one of the most glorious reputations. This was because it was one of the busiest and most prosperous trade markets in the Divine Realm.

On True Martial World, countless great trade associations and auctions houses were converged. At any given moment there were limitless heavenly materials being bought and sold. It was said that in the marketplaces and auction houses here, there were even harvests for a World King level powerhouse.

The True Martial World in which Carefree Island was located was extremely vast, even a level greater than Atlas World, the world where Phoenix Cry Palace was located!

Of the great worlds of the Divine Realm, what decided which was larger and smaller was not their mass or area. Rather, it was the number of powerhouses as well as their quality.

And in a great world, over 90% of the powerhouses would be located on the main continent. Each main continent of a Divine Realm great world had an incalculable area to it.

Although Carefree Island was also considered to be on the main continent of True Martial World, it was at the farthest edges of the sea – the Red Desolate Sea. The truly large top sects, such as those Holy Lands, peak Holy Lands, and even World King level Holy Lands were located near the greater central areas of these main continents.

This region had an incomparably rich stock of resources. There was also an extremely high number of mystic realms, and even the middle ranked of these mystic realms was much more bountiful than the Red Desolate Mystic Realm.

However, although these mystic realms were rich in resources, what they produced was only violet sun stones, violet sun crystals, or some other basic low level materials. The best point about them was that the quantity of resources was very high, but the quality wasn’t so. They weren’t like the God Beast Mystic Realm that had high level heavenly materials such as a supreme dragon bone. A supreme dragon bone was something that even a World King level powerhouse would fight to the death for. As for 10 billion violet sun stones, a World King level powerhouse wouldn’t have any interest in that at all.

This was the difference in level. Although True Martial Great World’s mystic realms were extremely rich, and could even be counted as having some of the richest of the Divine Realm’s 3000 great worlds’ mystic realms, they weren’t able to produce top grade heavenly materials, thus they weren’t too tempting to powerhouses. And, a great deal of the wealth was due to the commercial businesses there. Every year there was an inestimable amount of wealth traded in True Martial World.

Immemorial Imperial City was the largest city of True Martial Great World and also the most ancient. After Lin Ming bid his farewells to Mo Riverbliss, his destination was Immemorial Imperial City. The reason he came here was to take back the wealth that the Verdant Feather Holy Lands had left, among them the jade slip to the ‘Celestial Tyrant Manual’ that Mo Eversnow had left behind.

According to Mo Eversnow, Immemorial Imperial City was already several hundred millions of years old.

A hundred million was a terrifying number, in particular when used to refer to time. A mortal lived for a billion breaths, and a single breath was an extremely short period of time. If these breaths of time were changed into years, the amount of time would be unimaginable!

This was a city that had constantly developed over a span of several hundred million years; it was easy to imagine how terrifying it was! [1]

In the skies above True Martial Great World, a super continent floated by itself. This massive chunk of land was tens of thousands of miles long and wide.

Immemorial Imperial City was surrounded by a city wall that was thousands of feet high and hundreds of feet thick, as if a mountain range were surrounding it. For all these hundreds of millions of years, countless array formations and mind-boggling amounts of energy were used to support this city wall, and thus the city wall exuded a simple and boundless aura.

Although this city wall was vast and tough, there were still scars left behind by all sorts of attacks. There were even some areas where the gashes were particularly deep and dreadful. It was obvious that in the history of Immemorial Imperial City, it had encountered the endless flames of war. To fight in a city like this, it was possible that it was a war between World King level Holy Lands.

The truth was that martial artists could fly, and no ordinary wall could stop them no matter how high it was. But, this city wall formed a massive energy barrier in the sky that covered the entire city sky; the number of violet sun stones consumed each year could be imagined.

Beyond the covering of the energy barrier, there were countless saint beasts and massive spirit boats and spirit shoats that shuttled about. These saint beasts and spirit vessels had to descend as they came close to Immemorial Imperial City and the martial artist who rode them had to then walk into the city.

It was the largest city of True Martial Great World and also the most ancient. True Martial Great World did not have an Empyrean level influence. Thus, the True Martial Holy Lands was the number one top influence of this great world [1]

Synopsis

Dr. Frederick Alfheim, was your average lab Scientist. There was honestly nothing spectacular about him. He followed the same routine every day. Сразу скажу что не понравилось и вот почему по фактам: краткий отзыв с 2 пункта, 1-более подробный.

1.1. ГГ его мышление выглядит так будто мы смотрим про парня лет 14-15 что не понимает и вообще не в зуб ногой в то что происходит, для тех кто не понимает в произведении на момент 77-глав, было сказано что гг был в армии и много ест-жира у него значит достаточно, так как не раз вы услышите что он был обжорой, хотя это как бы пытаются перевести в шутку но суть то не меняется, и что мы имеем? Гг что был жирным в «прошлой» жизни но тогда как он забрался в гору? Вопрос хороший, ответа четкого нету, очередной фейл, от автора, хотя чего ожидать от автора который писал другую работу и там хоть немного лучше было по типу гг не был таким быдлом, в отличии от этого, выражения базарного сленга Китая по типу «этот папка» от которого хочется сжечь работу вам будет попадаться так же и юмор связанный с «калом» в прямом и переносном смысле, так же сплошь и рядом будет быдло возле гг-учите это, хоть и прошлая работа оставила после себя ощущения того ещё бреда, в этой работе его ещё больше, причём это в начале истории, а не после иногда, а уже в самом начале нас встречает абсурд от автора, для начала гг оказался как бы в могиле парня тогда вопрос, откуда там столько метров земли что описал автор в начале если он выползал из могилы прошлого тела? Далее если он полз из пещеры и она была под могилой или рядом с ней же, почему это не было учтеннно? А как бы вскользь описано? Автор уже на самом начале истории вводит читателя что читает его работу в ступор, автор будто хочет написать-изложить его мысли но пропускает некоторые слова-предложения, или же они были стёрты, далее гг появляется в таком виде мол грязь-и тд.тп но пишется мол сестра его обняла и все норм, как это понимать? Мол ей пофиг? Ладно далее, автор пишет мол гг долго капал но тогда почему он резко ходить после перестал типо допинг выкл? Это очередной фейл, далее, тело гг из мира культиваторов упало с 10 метров а то и выше, вопрос который был бы у каждого при том что тело гг не доедало и должно быть считай той ещё спичкой-очень хрупким то каким образом он вообще прожил до момента того что его притащили и ухаживали за ним не понятно, так как культивацией-впитыванием энергии он не занимался/прошлый хозяин тела, далее упав с такой высотой было бы куча открытых переломов и огромные потери крови и опять ноль ответов по типу того а каким образом он собрался в целое то тело?! Далее то как его сестра воспринимает, не за нежить на которую он был бы похож весь в грязи и выкопавшись из могилы, собрался хрен пойми как в целом тело, а типо более менее нормально выглядищий парень, хотя его закапывали как пишется без гроба, и как он тогда дышал под землей и смог выкапаться? М?! Очередные фейлы от автора, чтобы люди понимали выкопаться он мог при таком ещё теле максимум если его хранили ниже 30 сантиметров, тогда хоть какие то 1% процентные шансы у него бы были при его здоровом теле, а не переломном в хлам, а там метр точно был, далее то как при таком раскладе его не приняли за нежить люди и сама сестра не понятно, хотя объяснение по типу он тёплый-значит жив думаю такое объяснение автор и задумывал мол пофиг на все остальное, не холодный значит не нежить, угу, его бы будь дело в средневековом Китае или же Европе обычные бы жители скорей всего закопали бы обратно или сожгли бы, а может и утопили бы, это ему бы повезло если рядом был бы адекватный священник или монах оный же, которые могли бы сказать мол неа он нормальный, хотя отношение бы осталось а там ситуация еще хуже считай средневековый пост-апокалипсис то бишь, люди что живут в несколько раз хуже и менее образованы чем в том же даже начальном средневековье, только вот вопрос о том каким образом у них там существует жизнь пристствует, повсюду пустынные звери которые сожрут слона или быка на раз два, и при этом почему не особо любящие горы с энергиями/святые места типо того, и человечество живет чем там? Правильно дикими овощам-фруктам-травами, да ещё иногда убивают диких животных, ну ещё и торгуют с теми кто поля имеет и то описывается так будто они там думать не умеют в край, так же учтите что автор будет писать одно а после забывать и писать другое, то бишь писалось мол лагерь Войнов племени лянь(или как там его) мог охотится на диких хищников-пустынных зверей, хотя после пишется что самый сильный без культивации на первом уровне смертной крови по силе поднимает около 350 кг-700 цзыней, то бишь их пустынные звери схарчат только так, далее они охотятся только на диких зверей кто не помер в той среде обитания, не более того, но автор пишет в начале мол они охотятся и на пустынных зверей то бишь логическая ловушка звери что выше уровнем что должны рвать этих Войнов как тузик грелку погибают от рук этой же грелки? Короче очередной фейл автора, про сленг базарного уровня быдла Китая по типу «пердежа»,»кала»,» это ваш папка», про шутки и унижения ввиде генеталий тоже не забывайте и вместе с этим абсурдный сюжет, куча ошибок логических так и словесных, то бишь в той обстановке все бы держались бы друг за друга, чтобы выжить, автор же будет показывать быдло средневековое причём абсурдное быдло, далее то как гг действует вызывает только сюр, момент с тем что он торгуется и вызывает в толпе недовольных волну возумущения бред полный, он должен был понимать что его тупо после убьют, далее то как голодные люди не пришли и не забрали еду только потому что ему это выдали с согласия руководства бред полный, причём не убив его же, далее то как гг будет говорить сюр тот ещё, он говорит мол в 70-ой какой то там главе народу мол кости были ядовиты, ему говорят что это ложь потому что вон тот парень(враг гг-молодой господин его племени) сожрал ту хрень и он в норме, и автор такой пишет мол гг не мог ничего более как бы добавить/доказать не как бы не смог что его слова правда поэтому он просто посеял семена вопросов, Боже какой же этой бред, для начала он мог бы сказать что заболели только те кто работал с этим костями это раз, два лекарство выдавалось только им но почему им его дали и не работали войны которые самые сильные там если все в порядке и это так важно? Наоборот силовая тренировка, далее откуда эти лекарства почему если они решили все лекарства отдать их мг(молодой господин) то откуда у них другие лекарства?! Далее то что инфекция/болезнь чумы выглядит по другому откуда автор это приплёл, Боже такой бред, у них рвота и кровь идёт, но под эту болезнь-ее симптомы подходят многие инфекции как оприделяли когда у них один доктор и то как потом пишет автор что он шарлатан непонятно, как и то что почему люди поверили когда точно бы должны были бы знать какие факторы других болезней чтобы не умереть-знать что к такому человеку приближаться нельзя, короче очередной фейл автора, далее с чего они решили что у него(МГ) не будет противоядия? Далее их Войнов не подпускали к этому чану как и старейшин и то если приходили то на короткий миг, тогда почему они так быстро уходили-старейшины? далее то почему гг просто не проследил и не пошёл бы за ними следом а нарывался чтобы его убили не понятно, таким образом он бы учавствовал бы в этом турнире и не умер бы по дороге потому что эти умники шли бы впереди и всякий хищник бы кинулся в скоп мелких животных нежели на отставших так же надо понимать что таким образом даже если на него и кинулись бы он бы имел возможность грохнуть хищника так как сильнее тех впереди если брать одно лицо а не их МГ, короче бред автора, штуки про кал и все выше описанное как и то сколько тупизма там, для начала почему гг или сами жители не поставили поля для выращивания хоть и упоминается это вскользь но все же, далее почему гг не дал им знания для выращивания культр не знал? Может не хотел но не более того, далее это то что даёт такой подрыв сюжета от которого сжечь эту работу хочется, Автор сам пишет другой язык а не китайский и тд, другой мир, тогда КАК И ОТКУДА там выражения и традиции типо Китая, М. Это просто подрыв всего того что после автор пишет, когда в самом начале это автор пишет, короче это бред и абсурд с юмором для быдла.

Это будет скорее краткий сбор того что вас ждёт в этой работе; бред; абсурд; чуть что агр на гг когда остальные, между собой нормально «как бы» ведут дела; быдло шутки про кал и юмор о нём же и не только; Кучи фейлов автора и логических ошибок в купе; возвышение Китайцев мол они самые первые и вообще они номер один а остальные только пользуется их достижениями(бред и абсурд что логично); цитаты про древний Китай вообще не к месту как и про их ученых-высказывания-сравнения (это как бы другой мир о чем ты автор пишешь вообще?!); абсурдные и глупые действия гг и всех персонажей в целом, только в самых понятых и то не факт они будут действовать адекватно; так же не понятно к чему упоминания культивации из других как бы «новелл» так как я вообще о них ничего не слышал как и многие другие люди; сам мир данной новеллы в самом начале уже абсурден; это только список если вкратце, думаю понятно почему данная работа тот ещё бред и вы потратите зря время если будете его читать, как это кому-то понравилось вызывает вопросы как и то что они ещё и дали хорошие оценки этому *****, слов нет, думал будет адекватное чтиво, угу, короче говоря не верьте, бред полный, ожидания-реальность.

Ну для него как Китайца может быть, а для адекватного человека это мерзость, про то как готовит гг а автор пишет о том как это сложно, ну тут опять восхваление себя любимого/гг и презрение к другим мол, смотрите как я умею, фейспалм, простая готовка не более, многие домохозяйки это сделают как и парни если захотят я про про адекватную готовку привычную, а не собак, кошек и насекомых иже с ними, а про курей, говядину, свинину, 5 из 10 не более.

Знаете я думал что я могу быть не объективным и что надо прочитать чуть дальше и может, вот может, сюжет улучшиться и автор исправит свой ошибки и так сказать эволюционирует, но нет, я точно со знанием дела хочу сказать если ближайшие 50 глав это кусок экскрементов и это в начале, то дальше хуже будет, и это прогноз верен примерно на 95%, что же вот краткая суть на момент 1080 глав, я думал что сюжет хоть как-то но станет лучше, (нет), итак краткая суть, автор кладёт болт на: сюжет, логику, персонажей основных, второго плана, третьего плана, врагов гг, делает пассивного гг; это краткая суть, подробнее следующие автор отказался от быдло китайского юмора примерно после 200 глав+, но за то клал болт на все остальное, Персонажи что дороги гг, а именно семья что он взял из пустоши в город была забыта, как и те семьи что он взял, и это хорошие люди, гг и автор клали на них болт, что с ними и как не понятно, далее что гг сделал для мира в целом? Сделал что-то феноменальное? Оставил после себя в мире тянь чего то там стоящие? Неа, ничего не сделал для простых людей, не построил крепости для лучшей жизни людей в целом, не дал возможность простому человеку обрести знание-техники-силу, не построил какую то систему законов и прав, неа, клал он болт, он в духе тех культиваторов абсурда, сказал двум расам не драться, дал указание построить город остальным, а не самому как-то поучаствовать, дал кое какие техники, забрал башню с главным наследием мира и свалил в туман под названием дальше культивировать, перед этим вальнув всех неугодных ему, заодно забив болт на логику и мышление человека 21-го века, оставил систему по типу банки с насекомым, кто выживет тот клас, а что остальные могут раскрыться позже, или им можно найти лучше применение, пофиг на это, удивляюсь тому как этот кусок экскрементов кто-то хвалил, далее этот умник и автор повторяют сюжет прошлой работы, да, да автор копирует сюжет прошлой работы, и гг внезапно опять попадает в какой то там тунель и вот вам новая арка, попутно гг забивает на своего дао(путь) партнёра или же по проще жену и иногда будет вспоминать о ней, не более, когда была возможность попросить помощь в поисках её, автор и гг сливались как слабые люди на память, и так наш гг по воле автора забил болт на это, так же как и на то что если бы автор не толкал гг рояли под названием выжить там где нельзя, гг и его врагам а всех остальных умертвить во славу его сюжета то самого сюжета и не было бы, потому как враги гг и сам гг точно выживут остальные в основном нет, и враги гг сдохнут только от гг, если бы не учителя что гг получал и враги которые о Боже неимоверно сильны то гг давно бы сидел и нервно думал над тем как бы ему силы обрести а так автор толкает сюжет кое как показывая всех остальных агро быдлом в сравнении с гг, он просто слабоумный учите это, за все годы он забил на возможность вернутся за наследием эксперта что выше по уровню силы Божественного лорда, а это пик как на этот момент пишут силы 12 эмп.небес так же он и автор забил на логику, в башне наследия мира тянь, должны были быть техники Божественного лорда ян но нет, там только на уровне и чуть выше гг, не более, автор меняет сюжет, логику, память, и силу гг и его врагов и вертит это на своём дао как ему вздумается, честно хочется сжечь его работу напаломом, учитите что это работа писалась ради денег, то бишь должна быть более качественнее прошлой, но нет, информация от людей что читали на англ и оригинальной версии, как оно на самом деле без понятия, но информация есть, учтите что вы потратите зря время и судите и о том стоит ли читать из 100-200 глав если есть 1500+ глав если меньше то по 10-50 главам далее нет смысла, это одно из золотых правил чтобы не терять время, а тем кто хвалил эту работу, хочется пожелать две вещи, первое: пойти почитать нормальную-адекватную книгу/работу, и только после писать хвалебные отзывы мол «супер прям, читайте не пожалеете» чтобы другие после просто не тратили время зря; и второе: если уж пишите, пишите про ошибки и объективно а не забивая болт на весь тот бред и абсурд что есть, и делать вид что его не было.

Говорить о том сколько логических ошибок и абсурда в этом произведении можно долго, но учтите, что вся это пурга про культиваторов в основном бред и абсурд полный, это другой мир-миры-вселенные, а авторы пишут про солнце а не звезду к примеру что светит или же не про небесное тело что рядом с планетой а про Луну, уже становиться смешно от них, про «традиции» что исходят из Азии и вообще про то что расы там обязательно привлекательны когда на тебя ящер скрещенный с человеком смотрит и называть это красотой, даже не знаю какие вкусы у таких авторов как и то что мерило красоты обязательное нефритовое, когда как основа это цвет зелёный, в пишется про белый, но при этом будто человека в мелу измазали и сказали вот, любуйтесь, или же темные глаза, и темные волосы, другие если и есть то только вскользь упоминания, и обязательное присмыкание гг и людей в целом перед женским полом и только когда выгода стоит на первом месте, тогда все меняется и к девушке начинают относится как к бревну или ещё хуже, про каких слабоумных персонажей авторы пишут и говорить не хочется, вообще пока моя оценка данной работе 2 из 10 не более, автор и гг сделали многое чтобы послать эту работу в чёрный список.

In summary, I love this series. Don’t read it if you prefer something more action packed, but don’t give it a bad rating simply because there’s not enough vengeful bloodshed in it (i.e. like Meng Hao in the recent ISSTH chapters).

The pacing of the novel is also a bit slow. You can read a whole chapter and it won’t progress anything and only give off some background information. Sometimes, it is useful while at others, you can skip it. This also means that you can skim chapters really fast and easily. And that’s the exact reason why I read 150+ chapters within a day or so. Yes, I can read rather fast but I mostly skimmed it as I won’t miss out on anything. There are two female leads in this novel. One is a sister (not by blood) and the other is a potential love interest. One is strong while the other is weak. This novel also suffers from MC having a weak female character that he needs to protect/save. It’s nice to have someone you want to protect but can that person be like Xiao Wu from Douluo Dalu and not just Princess Peach from Mario? As for the plot, so far it follows a typical one. MC starts off at a rundown village and he slowly gets stronger. Then he progresses to an academy or training camp of some sort. Stuff like that. I guess in this aspect, it sort of resembles The Desolated Era but The Desolated Era has a lot more action. It’s not, as of yet, a mindless fight after fight plot.

Despite all that, if you do enjoy this genre and type of story, I do recommend it. It’s a rather nice “everything out of an idiot’s guide” type of novel but not taking it too far. Is this something I will look forward to each new chapter? Nope. I’ll probably forget about it or come back after weeks or months to read in a bulk.

Because of a mess that autor made, problems from first part of novel became hightliten, young masters that wants beautiful woman, beautiful woman that just don’t give a sh*t about everything, beautiful woman that appears from nowhere to help MC for no reason, etsetera. And this character tropes applied in every new location that MC visit, to irritate you, to compel you stop reading this novel and leave autor alone, I have no other explanation for second part. 1/5

The story is not poorly written, the characters arnt drab 2D cutouts and blahblahblah. It has all the makings of a good book but lets go look at the negatives which are also very. heavily influenced by personal opinion and bias.

Negative 1 can be said here before possible spoilers.

As of chapter 555, I feel if all the bullsh*t word fluff and padding got trimmed down to an acceptable level, I would be at chapter 250+/-, 300 at most. Just goes to show that skipping almost entire chapters which the author groans over writing doesnt actually make you miss any pertinent information.

Romance isnt a tag yet the MC gets a woman. Heres the reason. It is not a romantic relationship. It is purely for the «love interests» survival and the main characters overpowering setup. My question is why? Xintong (the foil at this point) gets characterized well (better than some romance tagged love interests funny enough) yet just turns into a c*ckholster so the main character can get stronger by banging away (well alright, he has to follow an ancient karma sutra books instructions but still). Why? Whywhywhywhywhy? She literally comes across as a nice big sister, then a friend, then a love interest, now shes just a s*x toy to be used and left alone. Literally Xintong says «No matter what your decisions, I will silently follow and support you.”.. f*ck THAT! It literally just means «You can f*ck me all day long to get stronger (though I benefit too) but if you need help killing some mofos, just say the word and this piece of ass will do so!» Might as well just change it to «Yes Master. Put my ass here Master? You want me to be quiet Master? Alright, pu*sy will sit in the corner now.» Im a guy and this makes me depressed. Why characterize her so well just to make her a silent f*cktoy? At this point shes just a blowup doll that can fight when required.

Yeah those are my biggest gripes. I mean its a giant walking talking cliche story but what isnt after reading hundreds, possibly thousands of stories? Sooner or later you realize originality is a god send that should be praised to the point of making others want to kill themselves from inferiority complexes because its just so f*cking rare at this point.

Qi (气 qì) – the vital energy which exists in all things. The cultivation of Qi is a major theme in Wuxia, Xianxia & Xuanhuan novels.

Qi Circulation (行气 xíngqì) – the act of controlling Qi to flow from the dantian, through the meridians, and back into the dantian in a cycle. The purpose of this varies between novels, but usually it helps replenish stamina, purify the Qi, or strengthen the meridians. [1]

In the Martial World, Qi was the equivalent of True Essence.

Heaven and Earth origin energy was the basis for all martial arts cultivation. The so-called true essence was simply the conversion of heaven and earth origin energy to one’s own energy. In the legends, a Phoenix God Beast preyed upon Giant Leviathans. Its size was no less than that of a Golden-Winged Roc, and when it spread out its two wings it was able to hide the endless blue skies. It was difficult to say just how much blood such a creature had!

Within the entire Divine Realm, the phoenix is known as the spirit of fire and stands upon the pinnacle of all Fire Laws. The intensity of their flames can burn the eons of space.

A phoenix was thousands of miles long, even 10,000 miles long. If its blood were to fall it could drown entire cities and cause great rivers to overflow!

The wings of a true adult Phoenix surpasses even an Empyrean spirit treasure in durability. In terms of offense, they could shear a world in half. In terms of defense, they could withstand the all-out attack of an Empyrean!

In the legends, a phoenix had to experience nine renewals of the divine phoenix, in other words nine nirvanas. Each nirvana was a rebirth through a bath of flames! There was more than a single type of God Beast in the Divine Realm. For instance, there were several kinds of True Dragons. The reverse scale blood that Lin Ming had inherited had come from the Azure Dragon bloodline and it also contained the attribute of endlessness. In addition, there was a Red Dragon, Blood Dragon, Five Clawed Gold Dragon, all with their own unique attributes.

In total, there is an Azure Dragon, Blood Dragon, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon, Black Dragon, Five-clawed Gold Dragon, and Cerulean Dragon. There are even those lesser dragons with fainter bloodlines, such as hornless dragons, winged rain dragons, and others. Even the suanni and chimera can be considered part of the dragon race.

In the legends, a True Dragon was simply an illusory, unobtainable existence. No one knew just how powerful a True Dragon really was.

Оказаться запертым в закрытом пространстве в горах, без еды, воды и с ограниченным запасом воздуха – И Юню было ясно что это место, скорее всего, станет его могилой.

Он безучастно уставился на толстую стену из камней. При тусклом освещении телефона крупные валуны казались ему лицами демонов. Они были холодными наощупь, и этот холод постепенно въедался в сердце И Юня, оттягивая его вниз.

Он не имел ни малейшего понятия, куда подевались его друзья. Входя в пещеру, они держались вместе, но как только всё начало рушиться, два человека, которые должны были оказаться в ловушке вместе с ним, странным образом…исчезли.

Как будто их никогда и не было рядом. И Юнь ясно помнил, что за полминуты до обвала девушка позади него говорила, что ей страшно из-за того, что они могут натолкнуться на змей.

Схватив край карты обеими руками, он с силой обрушил ее вниз, и тут произошло нечто немыслимое. Изначально крепкий и прочный камень оказался разрезанным напополам будто тофу, а И Юнь, не рассчитавший силу, накренился вперёд и ударился головой о стену.

И Юнь был ошарашен. Он не обратил внимания на содранный до крови лоб, он непонимающе уставился на пурпурную карту в руках. Когда первая волна шока прошла, он возликовал.

Это же прямо как световой меч из научно-фантастического фильма!

Он не стал задаваться вопросом, как карта может быть настолько острой, и принялся копать дальше.

Крепко схватив карту обеими руками, И Юнь, словно крот, начал раскапывать дыру. Кристальная карта не испытывала сопротивления и с лёгкостью разрезала даже гранит.

И Юнь воодушевился, он нашёл настоящее сокровище!

Если он выберется живым, эта карта может изменить его жизнь, и в ней даже могут быть скрыты инопланетные технологии!

И Юнь не знал, как долго он копал и, возможно, ему это просто казалось, но всякий раз, когда он чувствовал усталость, кристальная карта испускала холодок, который понемногу восстанавливал его силы, и он продолжал работать без отдыха.

В пещере невозможно было определить время, но И Юнь был настроен на спасение, поэтому без устали продолжал двигаться вперёд.

Но увидев полуразвалившийся дом перед собой, И Юнь едва не упал.

В прошлом И Юнь как-то ездил в деревню, и даже те старые дома были намного лучше, чем дом перед ним.

Этот простой дом был построен из грязи и камней. И кроме стола, двух табуретов, двух старых кроватей и печки, там больше ничего не было.

Цзян Сяожоу занесла И Юня в дом. Ему было непривычно, что его на спине тащит девочка. Он несколько раз слазил, чтобы пойти самому, но его тело было слишком слабо, всего пару шагов полностью выматывали его, и Цзян Сяожоу приходилось снова брать его на спину.

И Юню было очень неловко, что его на себе несёт ещё маленькая девочка.

– Юнь эр, ты, наверное, есть хочешь… – сказала Цзян Сяожоу, положив И Юня на одну из деревянных кроватей. Хотя она вся вспотела, но её лицо оставалось бодрым. Конечно же она была счастлива, что её брат вернулся к ней с того света.

И Юнь посмотрел на потную одежду Цзян Сяожоу, хотя его тело было довольно лёгким, но тащить его пришлось, как минимум, от 3 до 5 ли. Цзян Сяожоу, которой всего 15 лет, было очень нелегко нести его на закорках.

Если бы это была пятнадцатилетняя девочка с Земли, то просто гуляя с пустыми руками 3-5 ли она бы полностью устала, не говоря уже о том, чтобы нести кого-то.

– Ага… Хочу… Немного, – прошептал И Юнь засохшими губами. Это были его первые слова с тех пор, как он попал в этот мир. Сначала он думал, что говорить на здешнем языке будет сложно или даже вообще невозможно, но, к его удивлению, он говорил на нём так же легко, как и на родном.

– Тогда я тебе что-нибудь приготовлю, – сказала Цзян Сяожоу с улыбкой. Она аккуратно вытерла грязь с лица И Юня, а потом подложила под его голову подушку, а его самого укрыла тонким одеялом. Она укрывала И Юня нежно и ловко, что он почти уснул.

Эта девочка была явно не его сестра, но потому что она долго несла его на спине и тщательно ухаживала за ним, у него постепенно начали появляться к ней тёплые чувства.

И Юнь хотел помочь зажечь ей огонь в печке, но она настояла, чтобы он лежал в постели.

– Тебе совсем недавно легче стало, так что тебе нельзя сейчас простудиться, пока ты ещё слаб, – сказала Цзян Сяожоу, подняв почти пустой мешок с зерном.

Пятнадцать минут спустя, Цзян Сяожоу поставила старый деревянный стол перед кроватью. На столе была большая миска рисовой каши, два диких фрукта, а также миска с варёными дикорастущими овощами.

И Юнь голодал уже несколько дней, потому стоило ему увидеть еду, как его живот сразу же заурчал.

И Юню хотелось свинины, курицы, утки или варёной рыбы. Лишь от одной мысли о мясе его желудок забурлил.

Как я смогу утолить мой жуткий голод лишь этим?

Он быстро отхлебнул рисовой каши, он нередко ел рис, но совершенно пустой желудок остро отреагировал на теплую кашу, стимулируя выделение желудочного сока, отчего И Юнь почувствовал себя ещё голоднее.

Он съел меньше половины тарелки риса и несколько варёных овощей. Овощи были настолько горькие и невкусные, что ему даже стало трудно проглотить их, не смотря на дикий голод.

Когда И Юню из-за вкуса овощей и кусок в горло не лез, он заметил, что Сяожоу не ела, а смотрела на него, и тогда он с любопытством спросил:

– А почему ты не ешь?

– Я совсем недавно поела, – пробормотала Цзян Сяожоу, поджав губы на побледневшем лице.

Сердце И Юня ёкнуло, он вспомнил, что Цзян Сяожоу была на кладбище ещё днём, так когда же она успела поесть?

И он тут же понял, что, скорее всего, даже такую пищу было очень трудно достать.

Что же это за мир такой, с такими сильными мастерами, разъезжающими на диких зверях, и настолько бедными людьми, что не могут даже прокормить себя?

И Юнь отодвинул от себя миску с кашей и привстал, чтобы посмотреть на мешок с зерном, лежащий в углу дома. Как он и думал, мешок был пуст.

И Юнь понял, что обычно она готовила намного меньше порции, чем сейчас. И видя его слабость, она решила приготовить побольше каши, чтобы он быстрее восстановился.

– Я наелся. Ты тоже поешь, – произнёс И Юнь, подтолкнув миску к Цзян Сяожоу. Во-первых, он действительно потерял аппетит, и во-вторых, он не мог позволить девочке голодать, чтобы накормить его.

Он посетовал в своём сердце, что если это возможно, то он бы хотел вернуться в свой мир. А если такой возможности нет, то он хотел бы как-нибудь стать парящим мастером боевых искусств.

Но на данный момент, главным приоритетом было прежде всего его выживание. Ведь он может даже умереть, ещё до того, как что-нибудь узнает об этом мире.

– Я не голодна, – упрямо сказала Цзян Сяожоу, – Завтра тот самый день, когда выдают еду, мы можем даже кусочек мяса получить. И я приготовлю его для тебя.

Лицо Цзян Сяожоу покраснело, как только она упомянула про выдачу еды. По ней было видно, что она долго ждала этого дня получения мяса.

И Юнь молчал. На Земле он ощущал, что жизнь совсем не сахар, но в этом мире всё было ещё хуже, пропитания не хватало, наверняка не только они находились недалеко от голодной смерти, жизнь здесь была действительно тяжела. Ведь это очень мучительно, постоянно голодать.

Посреди ночи слабо дул ветер, принеся с собой кваканье лягушек в пруду и приятное стрекотание сверчков. И Юнь ещё не спал, он лежал на кровати, освещённый лунным светом. Он долго смотрел на руки, держащие загадочный кристалл. Ведь именно из-за этого кристалла выбираясь из завала, он очутился в другом мире и в другом теле. Это маленькая кристальная карта бесспорно была каким-то сокровищем. Если он как следует изучит этот кристалл, то, скорее всего, найдёт ему применение.

Этот мир был полон опасностей для обычных людей. Но И Юнь вспомнил того мужчину средних лет, разъезжающего верхом на диком звере по пустошам, и у него была очень внушительная аура. По сравнению с голодающими простолюдинами, разница между ними просто небо и земля.

– Если я стану мастером, то не буду ни от кого зависеть По крайней мере, я не буду голодать…

И Юнь коснулся своего живота, вспомнив ужин, которым его накормила Цзян Сяожоу. Поскольку он был ещё ребёнком, его растущий организм уже давно переварил ту еду, и он снова был голоден.

Как только он почувствовал пустоту в своём желудке, от фиолетового кристалла в руке начал исходить слабый холод, как будто…

И Юнь вдруг заметил что-то. Он сел на постель и уставился на фиолетовый кристалл. Восторженная улыбка появилась на его лице.

При внимательном рассмотрении, И Юнь заметил, что маленькие и слабые светящиеся точки окружили фиолетовый кристалл.

Эти светящиеся точки появлялись из неоткуда и медленно влетали в фиолетовый кристалл, пропадая в нём, словно кристалл поглощал их. Спустя время, фиолетовый кристалл стал светиться ярче.

От такого открытия у И Юня перехватило дыхание.

Как только кристалл засветился ярче, Юнь также почувствовал, что кристалл стал холоднее. Эта очень странная прохлада поднялась по его рукам, распространившись по всему телу, словно его тело омыло божественным родником. Это сразу взбодрило его.

И Юнь вспомнил это чувство. Копая выход из пещеры, он почувствовал прохладу, когда начал выдыхаться. Этот холод восстанавливал ему силы, когда тело переставало его слушаться.

И Юнь знал, что он выжил и был способен двигаться только благодаря неизвестной энергии, что восполняла его силы.

Рытьё такого длинного тоннеля, без еды и питья в течение нескольких дней, требует огромного количества энергии. Похоже, что прохлада, которую он ощущал, исходила от фиолетового кристалла, обеспечивая его живительной энергией.

Если вспомнить, когда он только обнаружил этот кристалл в пещере, то тот был похож на слабо светящуюся жемчужину.

Однако, выкопав тоннель в этот странный мир, он заметил, что кристалл стал тусклее, похоже, это произошло из-за большого потребления энергии И Юнем.

Но теперь фиолетовый кристалл, перезарядившись, стал ярче и сильнее. Так что же могло перезарядить фиолетовый кристалл?

И Юнь внимательно наблюдал за маленькими точками, и заметил, что они пребывали из окна. Казалось, что они… Летели из звёздного света.

Звёздный свет – источник энергии для фиолетового кристалла?

И Юнь немного подумал и встал с постели. Подойдя к печке, он положил на раскалённые угли горсть сухой травы, и увидел, как разгорелось яркое пламя.

Затем он осторожно положил фиолетовый кристалл прямо в открытое пламя.

По теории И Юня всё было просто, если кристалл может поглощать энергию света звёзд, то, возможно, он способен поглотить энергию и из других природных источников.

Огонь, для И Юня был сильной формой энергии, по крайней мере сильнее звёздного света. Если фиолетовый кристалл поглотит энергию пламени, сможет ли он быстрее зарядиться?

И у И Юня даже мысли не возникло, что огонь может уничтожить фиолетовый кристалл.

Однако, сколько бы И Юнь не жёг фиолетовый кристалл, тот никак не отреагировал, не было заметно, что он поглотил хоть немного энергии.

Фиолетовый кристалл был похож на кусок льда, который невозможно растопить. Как только огонь погас, И Юнь дотронулся до него, и он был всё таким же холодным, как и раньше.

И Юнь покачал головой и отказался от этого эксперимента.

Он решил отправиться на улицу, ведь звёздный свет снаружи плотнее, а значит отдаст фиолетовому кристаллу больше энергии.

Если кристалл полностью заполнить энергией, то к каким изменениям это приведёт?

И Юнь с нетерпением ждал этого!

Открыв входную дверь, он вышел, осторожно прикрыв дверь за собой. Он не хотел будить сестру, спящую в соседней комнате, но стоило ему пройти дальше, как он ошарашенно застыл.

И Юнь увидел девушку в зелёном, сидящую под деревом, недалеко от него. Она тщательно точила наконечник стрелы.

Холодный наконечник стрелы отражал лунный свет, освещая изящное лицо девушки, которое было словно покрыто слоем серебряных нитей. Вокруг девушки летали десятки светлячков, словно духи, кружившие вокруг богини.

И Юнь увидел блестящую кучу стрел рядом с Цзян Сяожоу, каждая стрела была хорошо изготовлена и остро заточена.

Хотя И Юнь ничего не знал об оружии, но даже он смог оценить изящество этих стрел.

– Юнь эр, зачем ты встал? Ночью очень холодно и сыро, а тебе нужно хорошенько выспаться, чтобы быстрее восстановиться. Так что бегом домой, – произнесла Цзян Сяожоу, сразу же вставая, чтобы проводить И Юня обратно в дом.

– Сестра, зачем тебе так много стрел? – спросил И Юнь с любопытством. Не похоже, чтобы Цзян Сяожоу была способна тетиву у лука натянуть.

– Это для обмена на еду. Мы же всегда так делали…

Цзян Сяожоу странно посмотрела на И Юня.

– Ох… – было очевидно, что И Юнь не знал об этом. Странно, он прибыл в этот мир через тоннель, понимает здешнюю речь и письменность, но даже понятия не имеет, кем был другой «И Юнь», как и чем он жил. Он лишь помнил свою жизнь и ничего более.

Он был похож на людей, которые потеряли память после травмы головы. Прямо, как и больные амнезией люди, он ничего не знал о прошлом, но не забыл языковые навыки.

И Юнь уже давно придумал отличное оправдание и сказал:

– Сестра, я уже умер однажды, но после того, как очнулся, ничего не могу вспомнить о своём прошлом.

– Не можешь вспомнить? – испуганно спросила Цзян Сяожоу. И Юнь упал со скалы, когда собирал травы и сломал много костей. Он был некоторое время прикован к постели, а позже скончался от полученных ран. Возможно, он и голову повредил.

Стоило Цзян Сяожоу подумать об этом, как у неё защемило сердце, и она взволнованно спросила:

– Я в порядке, – И Юнь быстро прервал Цзян Сяожоу, он не хотел, чтобы она ещё больше переживала о нём, – Сестра, расскажи мне об этом мире, и про того мужчину, что ехал на огромном звере. Кто он такой? я много чего не помню…

Глава 20. Подозрения И Юня.

Последние два дня И Юнь снова посвятил себя практике. Из-за получаемых в процессе травм, обе его руки были перевязаны.

И Юнь слишком часто уходил посреди ночи, и конечно же это не ускользнуло от Цзян Сяожоу.

– Юнь-эр, что ты делал последние дни? И что с твоими руками?

С тех пор, как мать И Юня скончалась, Цзян Сяожоу взяла на себя роль мамы И Юня, всячески о нём заботясь.

Даже когда И Юнь ошибался, Цзян Сяожоу не обвиняла его, но пристально смотрела на И Юня, пока он сам не признавался в своих проступках.

Также было и сегодня.

И Юнь хотел сказать, что поранился, собирая травы, но под пристальным взглядом Цзян Сяожоу, он колебался, прежде чем сказать правду:

– Сестрёнка Сяожоу, ночью я тренировал боевые искусства. Раны на руке получены в процессе тренировки.

Цзян Сяожоу была в шоке, тренировал боевые искусства?

– Юнь-эр, кто научил тебя боевым искусствам?

– Я сам тайно узнал их, – честно признался И Юнь.

Выражение лица Цзян Сяожоу изменилось. Тайное изучение боевых искусств в племени считалось преступлением. К тому же изучение боевых искусств было нелёгким делом. Даже без лекарственных растений и мяса, нужно очень хорошо питаться. А И Юнь ел только кашу и дикорастущие овощи. Так откуда у него силы на тренировки?

Это может стать вопросом жизни и смерти.

– Сестрёнка Сяожоу, ты мне не веришь? – И Юнь схватил руки Цзян Сяожоу, и пристально посмотрел ей в глаза.

Цзян Сяожоу помолчала, прежде чем подсознательно кивнуть.

– Ну, раз сестрёнка мне не верит, то лучше и не спрашивать больше об этом. Сестрёнка Сяожоу, я обещаю улучшить нашу жизнь в будущем! – сказал серьёзно И Юнь. Цзян Сяожоу была первой, кого он встретил в этом странном мире, и она была единственным человеком, который искренне заботился о нём.

Он был благодарен ей за это. Он хотел изменить не только свою судьбу, но также и судьбу Цзян Сяожоу. Сестра, замерев, смотрела на И Юня, и лишь одна мысль крутилась в её голове, что её брат вырос.

Он больше не был тем слабым ребёнком. Его слова не были наивно детскими. Чувствовалось, что он приложит все усилия, чтобы достичь поставленных целей…

И Юнь постепенно привык к простой еде. Точнее, у него не было другого выбора, кроме как сесть на эту диету.

Хотя каша невкусная, И Юнь мирился с этим, когда его голод становился совсем невыносим. Без горных трав И Юнь бы уже давно помер с голоду, не говоря уже о прорыве на уровень Силача.

Но хоть травы и обеспечивали пищевые и энергетические потребности организма, этого всё же было недостаточно, чтобы заменить нормальную еду. Да и вкус у трав был даже хуже, чем у рисовой каши.

Единственным хорошим элементом в его жизни были маринованные овощи Цзян Сяожоу.

Было грустно говорить это, но хотя И Юнь не считался богатым на Земле, но он всё же мог есть любые овощи и мясо. Но с тех пор, как он прибыл в этот мир, он до сих пор не попробовал здешнее мясо на вкус. И единственным деликатесом для него были маринованные овощи.

Однако, стоит заметить, что маринованные овощи Цзян Сяожоу были действительно вкусными. Что же для самой Цзян Сяожоу, она считала маринованные овощи расточительством, так как в деревне было слишком мало соли. Вся соль поступал к ним с больших племён.

Много соли поставлялось в лагерь подготовки воинов. Соль им нужна была для маринования мяса, поэтому лишь небольшое количество соли отдавали простолюдинам. И обычно соль использовали для овощных супов. А тратить драгоценную соль на маринованные овощи было большой роскошью.

Через пару дней, все травы на Лекарственной Горе Клана Лянь были подчистую собраны. Даже с помощью фиолетового кристалла И Юнь не мог найти ни одной приличной травы. Сдавая каждый день травы, жители деревни даже срывали маленькие ростки.

«Решив полностью очистить гору от лекарственных растений, видимо, племя совсем не заботилось о будущем. Похоже, племя решило рискнуть и в будущем собираются бросить эти земли. Все надеялись на Лянь Чэнюя. Однако, даже если Лянь Чэнюй пройдёт отбор в воины королевства, то это только лишь некоторым людям из лагеря подготовки воинов пойдёт на пользу. Скорее всего, обычных людей оставят здесь погибать…

И Юнь испытывал смешанные чувства. Понятно, что это был их способ выжить в бескрайних диких землях. Тут были слишком ограниченные ресурсы, а в таких условиях сильные всегда получают больше, а слабые просто отсеиваются.

Поскольку трав на горе становилось всё меньше и меньше, руководство племени забыло про гору, сосредоточив всё своё внимание и силы на обработке пустынных костей.

Этот набор пустынных костей был чрезвычайно важен. Племя Лянь поставило всё на кон, возлагая на эти кости огромные надежды.

Даже Лянь Чэнюй поставил на эти кости всё: амбиции, надежду, стремления и жизнь.

Для переработки пустынных костей требуется 60 дней!

Но на десятый день процесса переработки произошло что-то странное.

Несколько жителей деревни, ответственные за обработку пустынных костей, заболели. Всё началось с кашля и лихорадки, но вскоре у них началась диарея и рвота, кожа покрылась сыпью, а также признаки острой депрессии. Симптомы очень напоминали тиф.

В маленьком племени в такой огромной дикой пустоши, обычный воин был хорошо тренирован и обладал здоровым телом, защищённым от болезней, но бедные простолюдины часто болели, и среди них не существовало такого понятия, как незначительная болезнь. Потому что их организм был слишком слаб и не мог сопротивляться даже слабым болезням, к тому же в племени был лишь один врач, который обслуживал только руководство племени, а бедняки были обречены умирать от простой простуды.

И Юнь тут же почувствовал что-то неладное, когда услышал эти новости.

Тиф очень похож на простудную лихорадку, но на самом деле это была бактериальная инфекция. И Юнь не был уверен, был ли тиф в этом мире таким же, как на Земле. Но с таким количеством больных, это должен быть какой-то тип инфекционного заболевания.

И Юнь знал, что обычно инфекционные заболевания распространяются через воздух или воду, вот только жители деревни, отвечающие за обработку пустынных костей, всегда находились около котла, где температура была очень высокой!

Под воздействием высоких температур и низкой влажности, большинству микроорганизмов будет трудно выжить. Если бы это была вспышка заболевания, то она бы не началась с тех, кто отвечает за переработку костей, разве не так?

Это могут быть микроорганизмы, которые легко распространяются даже в сухих условиях?

Подумав об этом, И Юнь помрачнел лицом. Эти жители деревни заболели не просто так!

Пять человек заболели, естественно, люди в племени, особенно те, кто отвечают за переработку костей, сильно запаниковали.

Находясь рядом с больными, они могли заразиться в любой момент.

Хотя их жизнь была тяжёлой, но никто не хотел умирать.

К счастью, руководство племени Лянь не стало игнорировать данную проблему. Сам Старейшина пришёл, чтобы успокоить народ, и дал каждому из больных красную пилюлю.

Эта пилюля была размером с лонган и красной, словно кровь. По словам Старейшины, это было чрезвычайно дорогое лекарство, полученное переработкой редких трав, и каждая такая пилюля стоила целое состояние.

Старейшина сказал больным проглотить её с тёплой водой. И болезнь пройдёт после приёма лекарства. И на первый день после приёма этого лекарства, хорошо выспавшись, больные почувствовали себя бодрыми. К вечеру второго дня они ничем не отличались от обычных людей.

Но на третий день больным стало даже лучше, чем до болезни.

Кроме того, Старейшина раздал больным маринованное мясо, размером с ладонь. Это было то самое мясо, которое жители деревни не видели месяцами. Это стало очень ценным подарком для них.

Бедняки очень дорожили этим кусочком мяса и ели его потихоньку. Некоторые же отдавали мясо своим детям, а некоторые жёнам.

Новость о том, что руководство племенного клана Лянь раздаёт пилюли и мясо, распространилась, как лесной пожар.

И в благодарность народ начал работать ещё усерднее для переработки пустынной кости. Некоторые даже захотели специально заболеть, чтобы получить пилюлю, от которой чувствуешь себя лучше и бодрее, а также ради куска мяса.

И Юнь нахмурился, когда узнал об этих новостях.

Пилюля, которая может не только вылечить болезнь, но также улучшить самочувствие.

Хотя И Юнь не имел медицинского образования, он знал, что пилюли, оказывая такой положительный эффект на организм, должны содержать в себе нечто, что стимулировало организм, и обязательно имело сильные побочные эффекты.

К примеру те же стимуляторы, вроде наркотиков и других запрещённых препаратов, которые могут временно повысить потенциал человека.

И Юнь был особенно скептически настроен к словам руководства племени, якобы эти пилюли были созданы из очень дорогих и редких растений.

Племя Лянь не могло быть таким щедрым. К тому же, чтобы быть щедрыми, у них должны быть эти самые дорогостоящие растения, но с точки зрения И Юня, даже верхи племени были слишком бедны. В таком положении, руководство племени недалеко ушло от бедняков. Также у них были слишком ограниченные ресурсы, отдавая всё Лянь Чэнюю, и как в таком положении они могли что-то раздавать бедным?

На другой день жителям деревни раздали травяной отстой. Это были остатки от заварки трав, которые использовал Лянь Чэнюй. Это было для тех, кто занимался переработкой пустынных костей, чтобы укрепить их тела. Те, кто получил травяную муть, естественно, были очень благодарны.

True martial world

Overall, I quite enjoy reading True Martial World as it is a guilty-pleasure, casual read, type of series. As mentioned above, you probably want to skim read sometimes to skip to the good part of the story in each chapter and avoid reading all the repetition stuff.

If you are looking for good, light-hearted fun, then this is a good series for you.

This is everything that Martial world isn’t, in a good way. The plot, the writing, the villains, the lesser amount of plot holes & way less power-ups makes this superior to MW. While the MC is op, it’s not nearly as bad as in MW and he is also quite funny and low key nor is he your generic ruthless killer either that’s way to common in the genre. Not to mention the world building, which at the start was way above average. All this make True Martial World better to Martial World in pretty much every way.

However, I really don’t understand why the author use the boring «transported to another world» at all, since after the first few chapters it’s almost never mentioned again. Why even use such a damned cliche if it’s never mentioned again, aside from a few times in the 600+ chapters I’ve read? Nor does he actually make use of any of modern days conveniences and advantages over an ancient world that’s lacking our present day technology. Then again, people in these kind of novels probably have magic ass wipers made from some powerful magic, their entertainment consists of endless training. This makes the reincarnated/transported troupe excessive, pointless and idiotic imo! The start of the novel, where we follow the mc’s struggle in a tribal society in a backwards wilderness, was simply amazing, as is the mc’s emergence from that almost stone age like society, into your common ancient China like fantasy world. If this was the case, I would easily give this novel 4+, but since this author really loves cliches, it’s not.

The world it self is a massive xianxia world, 10x times the size of Jupiter with a population of 100’s of billions of people, which is always hilariously bad. A good fantasy novel has to have some sort of believable facts or it’s just flawed and takes away the from the immersion. Bigger doesn’t mean it’s cool or better and is a massive flaw on par with the transported/reincarnation troupe imo. Oh, the MC of course finds an amazing artifact at the start just like in MW. Which is just bad writing, the authors who can construct a story without these deus ex mechanics are worthy of praise, even if you use these mechanics, then use them in such a way that they are actually interesting and unique. The women suffer from the same flaw as in MW, they are dull boring and one dimensional for the most part. The mc’s main love interest is just meh, this authors is really bad at writing interesting women unfortunately. While the villains and antagonists are way superior to his previous works, they too unfortunately fall in to the same category, lusting after the mc’s women, which of course leads them to be dumb morons who thinks with their dicks instead of like supposed geniuses they are described as.

Still, it’s an addictive, enjoyable and entertaining read, even more so than MW. If the author could get rid of his flaws, like his love of tired cliches and write some proper villains & interesting women for once, his next novel would probably be great. Since the start (well, minus the super-powerful deus ex magical object the MC got at the start) of this novel was really, really good.

The story is sooo slow, while reading I only read 1 sentence per paragraph sometimes. Thats how I was able to catch up. There is a good story in this novel, However we won’t be able to see it I guees 😀

Compared to Martial World, TMW is much more refined and the style of writing is better too. Yi Yun feels much more fleshed out than Lin Ming does and the adventures of TMW is much more exciting, especially the tournaments lol. TMW is one of the few novels that their tournaments are actually interesting.

TMW doesn’t have a school arc, more like a school for real practinioners, honestly most school arcs are superb boring, TMW shows how can a school for martial arts be like, not like a school for kids. 9.1/10, no matter how much the hate and the dragging out, TMW delivers when it is at it’s best, it’s a top level xuanhuan read.

MC is very intelligent and decisive. Even though he came from a world that had laws restricting murder and crime, he shows no mercy in this new world because he understands that the strong prey on the weak.

(Don’t get me wrong, the MC is definitely OP, but in a good way. :))

Another good thing about the novel is that the enemies of the MC aren’t too difficult to offend. I also like the fact they even if they are arrogant, they quickly accept that others can be more powerful than them.

By doing so, this allows them to have a better relationship with the MC instead of harboring a endless hatred that gets them nowhere.

and finally happy to see one novel where there are no instant power ups or unusual harem members

Inside the spoiler is just me ranting about mga

sigh, I don’t need another MC like chu feng. I ended up quitting because once it reached somewhere in the hundreds I just couldn’t take it anymore. Like all he does is tick someone off, then he gets ticked off, they do something, and it requires mass killing and humiliation.

The updates are fast too, that’s a plus.

The translation is the only thing that made it worth 2 stars. It’s structured like an english novel and there wasn’t any parts that were unclear due to the translation. Only wished the author didn’t kill the story.

The rest of the novel is standard cultivation novel fare, that does nothing special, but is not particularly bad. The moment to moment writing is above average, powerups are frequent and most scenarios involve the MC as the underdog shocking the peanut gallery by succeeding above expectations.

The author avoids having extremely contrived plot developments but has stuck to various forms of tournament arc for the last 500 chapters, which are some of the best parts of these novels but is pretty repetitive. As with most cultivation novels the romance feels unnatural and forced, but I appreciated that the MC has the self control to hold back on using his OP power, in order to not be suspected.

The setting is pretty well made, starting small, with hints at the greater worlds of the Empyrean Heavens and beyond shown in all their glory. Sadly, while this glory is written quite right, it feels a bit underused compaired to the little world where the story starts. So while the world is always adequate, there are times it feel just utilitarian.

The core cast is also quite good, although few remain with the protagonist for the whole story. The most recurring characters are Lin Xintong, his love interest (a great character, strong, clever and determined) and Jiang Xiaorou, his adopted sister (very good also, sweet, kind, with a strong backbone) who, while absent for big parts of the novel, are still important factors in the MC’s progression. Other colorful people like Bai Yueyin or Old Snake bring freshness to the story and end up making a fine core cast. Sadly, I can’t say the same for the antagonists. Most of them fall into the «arrogant young master» category, even close to the end of the book. There are a few long run antagonists, but most of them are present for one arc or two before going away. As for the main antagonist, his presence is felt in many parts of the story, but quite sporadically, with numerous holes in the final buildup to the climax of the novel, and the character himself is quite shallow (a big minus compaired to Martial World’s antagonists).

The power system here is a bit of a letdown. It is pretty good, centered on qi, with very well allegories to characterize the various stages of mastery, and the scenes of progress in cultivation are one of the best of the novel, as I expected of Cocooned Cow. Sadly, what we have here is not a standalone book, it’s the sequel of Martial World, which had a much more detailed cultivation system, built on the three aspects of body, qi and soul. And while numerous parts of the story are centered around body cultivation, it does not reach the same level of detail and construction as I expected. Still, the increased presence of Laws in the power system is a fine addition.

The story is of unequal quality, it has a very good first half, with a fine narrative progression and interresting plots and subplots. Sadly, the later half of the novel is made of discontinuous arcs with few relationships between them in term of locations, characters and antagonists (as well as no comebacks to previous «unfinished» locations to really good into the depths of things, a mechanism well used in the prequel). Moreover, beyond the pacing, the main issue is the filler. While it remains sporadic up to around the chapter 1000, it gets bigger after that, above what is required for a good world or story building. The problem only ends with the excellent last arc, in which the author tries to solve most of the subplots he started but did not finish during the previous arcs of the book. It is not to say that the second half of the story is awful, but it is not on par with the first, with too much filler (a recurring problem with Cocooned Cow), but the good parts are very good.

For the translation, CKTalon is a very good translator, who does a fine job at transmitting us the mood and life of the story. His work is at a very high level but is somewhat mared by recuring grammar mistakes (wrong uses of the past tenses and participles, as well as the third person of the present simple), even if they get rarer toward the end of the tale. I think it’s worth following his next endeavour in chinese translation.

In the end, True Martial World is a fine novel, but not at the same level as its prequel. It has an excellent protagonist and core cast, but the setting and cultivation system lack details. The story is very good, with the occassional glimpse at Martial World, but the pacing after the first half is pretty uneven, with a big filler issue and an ending which, while very good, is too hurried. As a result, while I really wanted to give the novel a higher mark, I can only give it a 7 out of 10. It’s a good read, with very good and even excellent moments, but it’s clearly not at the level of Martial World.

the MC has a super strong luck coupled with the purple crystal (the op item) to help him realize the opportunities which is an «ok».

the good thing is that they are basically married so we don’t need to watch the romantic progression and such.

not to be confused with the female lead, the sister of the MC is just standard with big backstory and she is the only one that can match the female lead’s beauty

the villains are all scumbags and their whole families and sects are cold blooded with blood on their hands with almost no exception. They are greedy, cold blooded, only seek benefits, revenge on the weak and kissass on the strong. They don’t even have any solidarity except the needed one for mutual protection.

overall, feels too generic but the execution is not bad and even though there are repetitions it is still fun to read.

from here I will breakdown the story into the arcs and my impression of each one (I hope I don’t miss any).

arc 1: beginner village:

a village with a dumb ass rules, they need to reach a certain level of strength for strength to be useful or else strength is worthless, yet they try to cultivate worthless people that don’t reach the standard instead of trying to find a suitable talents to cultivate to be at least relevant help for the tribe.

they don’t even try to check the talent of children in the tribe, the children have to prove themselves to be talented which so dumb even for primates.

also, needless hierarchy based on strength that doesn’t even reach the standard (basically it is like ranking the people who got F on a course based on their grade).

finally, the chief lets his grandson develop a deep seated hatred for the tribe and he doesn’t even try to properly mitigate this shit, and he has nothing to do except watch his grandson train..

extra, su jie is so shitty and dump, he sees the MC cooks super good and instead of taking him as a chef with a little bit of training on the side to extend his lifespan enough to serve as su jie’s chef for longer time. He just is interested and leave it to fate to decide if he meets him again (instead of helping the guy and benefiting from him, he decides to leave him be as he thinks he has no talent). Especially when it is mentioned that no cooking heritage exist in this world.

arc2: selection arc.

ok did I say before that the village had dumb rules? The kingdom mostly have the same dumb rules if not dumber.

first, the guy from the jin long wei teach them a useless skill (the author mentions it is profound) but in the end it doesn’t appear again in the whole story just like shitty skill it is.

they base their first selection on how good the body is at absorbing energy (which somewhat smart) but the overall selection depends on power. They don’t care if a prince of a big tribe, with infinitely many times as much resources as a whole small tribe, is slightly stronger than a beggar of a small tribe, with no resources whatsoever. The prince clearly is stronger and as such he is a better candidate.

second, they compare scions from big family clans with strong cultivation inheritance to tribal people with that train with a fragmented standard technique that is available for everyone. Which is to say, a dump way for trying to train an army.

finally, they allow the competition in an «army» so much that it might even cripple some of the soldiers which is a dumb move.

arc3: tai ah divine city

first, it is a place nurture future geniuses yet the people treat it as a training place (the special thing about it are the abundance of resources and ability to buy cultivation techniques) with no comprehensive understanding of the trainees or even a good training program, tutelage or any sort of management.

with the excuse of competition they just provided a special currency and let loose all the student to try to train however they like with not so much a guidance (except the foolish test at the start and the other foolish test at the end of first year).

they have duels that can cripple people, with the excuse of life and death battle experience, which is basically just a way to kill and cripple future geniuses with the excuse of competition.

they have wilderness to do experiential training and gather resources for the city but they fail to manage the trainees and end up with needless casualties because of grudges and people moving around the rules and people biting more than they can chew. (I get the independence part but they should have a way to conserve their geniuses)

overall, the city is a good training place with a the super dump idea of competition breeds strength and kill the weak to nurture the strong, which is worse than the animals logic if I must say.

note: no wonder tai ah divine kingdom is considered a backwater kingdom of barbarians.

arc 4: tai ah divine city destruction

first note: this arc is more like a transition arc. However, gotta like the majesty of the «Shen Tu». The most majestic scene is their airships arrival.

First is the inter tournament. Basically, the tournament was a proxy war between the two kingdoms and the first depiction of the enemy kingdom is that they are villains with the snake guy and his lackeys.

I think they put no kill rule but the way they just cripple people instead of killing them is just absurd and dump.

second is the evacuation. This part has nothing to speak of.

maybe the part where they treat yi yun specially kind of feels out of place but whatever.

finally is the capture and rescue part, this part is of the story is very nice with no flaws to speak of (if I remember correctly).

Note: this part was mostly action which I think is the strong point of the author and the part which makes this whole novel have good overall rating.

arc5: into tian yuan world

first, instead of questioning how yi yun got this strong and having doubts about if his talent really is the below average talent that he assessed in his first meeting. He keeps thinking he is a below average talent that he wouldn’t really amount to much in desolate heaven technique instead of trying to train him a bit to see what he can do (since he already surprised him once).

second, the lin family is pressured by the shentu family just because the shentu have a medicine the might be able to cure xingtong and make her peerless. First of all, the family never cared about xingtong and they are enemies with the shentu clan (at least not friendly with them). So, how do they trust that the shentu will not lie to them or how do they trust that xingtong will not abandon her family especially when they have sold her to the shentu.

Finally, they were fine all these years without ever thinking that xingtong might be cured so why do they find it as a very beneficial to the family and are willing to put down their enmity for no concrete evidence when they are stable enough not to even need the so called benefit.

arc6: great empress mystic realm

first, we see again the dumb criteria for successor selection, current power vs current age. They disregard the origin heritage and training time of the individual which is clearly very very dumb.

second, we see better criteria in he god advent tower which concerns the speed of cultivation given the same choices.

third, we see how dump the item spirit is when she lets the yin specter enter the god advent tower. So much for an uncountable years of existence.

overall, a very good arc.

arc7: martial alliance

This arc is well written that nothing really dumb comes to mind.

note: a little bit skeptical of how all the people just got tricked by the alliance. Also, the alliance head really is a rare smart guy in this story

arc8: demon disciple

again we see the dumb criteria from choosing a successor. Power vs age. No consideration to origin heritage or training time. Good job pure yang sword palace owner.

the whole arc is good though, I fail to remember and dump parts.

arc9: into empyrean heaven

First, good job leaving the best heritage out there to go to a shitty empyrean heaven just get destroyed in the middle of the road.

Second, way to let your disciples compete to the point of grudge again. (In the lou family)

Third, again with the criteria of power = talent.

Fourth, way to compare a 5000ish crimson firmament to a 20ish or 30ish purple spirit (instead of waiting for her to grow).

Fifth, they won’t play favorites even though yi yun clearly showed his atrociously overwhelming superiority even though logically they should nurture him to benefit not let him fend for himself. (They still look down on him because he is a human).

Finally, they think of backing as a good thing while in fact nurturing a guy without backing is much better because there are no other parties interest.

overall, a dumb guy leaving the best heritage for shit

overall, a dumb society that think power is everything even though they are trying to nurture the talented.

arc10: primordial empyrean heaven

first, they let a candidate they want to nurture doing something completely fruitless (they thought it was fruitless)

second, they didn’t even try to ask how yi yun was able to understand from something inconceivable.

third, I shouldn’t said this in he last arc but they let a guy with completely no known background into their secret tests and sh*t with no contract or any way to prove that he won’t betray them.

overall, they did some smart moves when they let ye yun continue his training indefinitely when he proved that he is capable. Which is one the smartest moves in this story.

arc11: azure wood realm

Again, fictitious rain lord doesn’t really try to enforce any kind of management for potential candidates and lets them fend for themselves.

Second, he even let his student in name do the test which is greatly in their favor not to let anyone pass.

Third, he actually watches his old sect trying to begrudgingly cripple yi yun which he thinks is a suitable candidate while he does nothing just because of a word or two.

Fourth, after accepting a student he immediately put him through enormous danger by taking him to azure wood world.

Fifth, instead of trying to keep yi yun away from the danger in azure wood world (even though he knows that to enemy sects of yi yun are there) he leaves him alone.

overall, a lot of dumb stuff happen in this arc like holy hell, did you lose your brain after living million+ years?

arc12: pure yang empyrean heaven

Abyssals were incomparably evil beings. Their wisdom was relatively low and they often relied on their instincts to manage affairs. They were the mortal enemies of all intelligent life forms!

The devils are a brutal race that feed on the weak and become ever stronger. Most of their territory is filled with lawlessness, rape and endless slaughter, making it a hellish place for many mortals.

10 billion years ago, the calamity of the 33 Heavens had finally been ended by the Eternal Wall.

The Asura Road Master and Immortal Sovereign joined forces, using their transcendent methods to forge the Eternal Wall and block off the Dark Abyss. After cutting off the source of these abyssals they proceeded to kill the other ones that remained.

Thus ended this great calamity.

The Eternal Wall was a barrier that only intelligent life forms of the 33 Heavens could pass. As for abyssal demons, they were sealed outside the Eternal Wall.

But the Eternal Wall wasn’t perfect and impregnable. As the wearing of time passed, many space-time cracks would appear. Some abyssals were able to pass through these space-time cracks and bypass the Eternal Wall.

The more powerful an abyssal was, the lower the chances of them passing through these space-time cracks.

Like this, even if those abyssals that passed through the cracks possessed a peak Empyrean level strength, they still wouldn’t be able to harm the 33 Heavens to any large degree.

But history was never without accidents. Billions of years ago, an incomparably terrifying abyssal demon somehow managed to pass through the Eternal Wall, bringing down a catastrophe unto all races of the 33 Heavens.

If it were 10 billion years ago and each one of these influences turned out in full strength, then they would be able to easily overwhelm the current 33 Heavens, destroying all life within the universe.

Compared to these super influences, even the Good Fortune Saint Palace wasn’t anything at all.

The demons could be called a single race, but in truth, after experiencing an incomparably long period of evolution, the countless branches that extended outwards made them hundreds and thousands of times more complicated and diverse than the ancient races.

There were low level abyssals, higher abyssals, unintelligent abyssals, wise abyssals, all these different sub-races numbered in the tens of thousands.

Low Level Devil

As a species, Abyss Devils have many variations in appearance. Most of them have armor-like bodies and sharp horns, while some look like reptiles that have spikes all-over.

Some of them have similar features to humans, the difference is that they have horns and a tail growing from behind them; these are known as Charm Devils.

If there was one way in which they differed from the intelligent life forms of the 33 Heavens, then that would be that there was a slender and long demon tail that extended down their backs.

Some succubus demons also had a pair of small horns coming out of their heads. This didn’t destroy their aesthetic appearance. Rather, it made them seem even more cute and lovable.

And besides succubus demons, the vast majority of female abyssals were simply too horrifying to look at.

High Class Devils [ ]

Especially when a abyss devil is of a high-level, they would usually morph into something that would be symbolic in their cultivation methods. For instance, Famine, its body was made up of essence energy that could easily overwhelm any superior True Divinity. It took the shape of a round ball of meat with dragon tentacles sticking out of it.

Classifications [ ]

The classification categories of abyssals were extremely complex. There were countless different sub races, and all of these sub races had strict hierarchical differences.

Out of all abyssal demons, the highest ranked were the six great totems.

Next were the royalty.

Royal abyssal demons possessed the high grade bloodline of the six totem abyssals. They were generally distributed in the lowest layers of the Dark Abyss.

High ranking races could enslave and even kill low ranking races.

And these races were ranked according to how formidable their bloodlines were, their intelligence, their capability of learning, their type of talent, and many other such factors. Before this when Lin Ming encountered the iron claw demons, they were a weak abyssal species. [1]

Royal abyssals possessed an extraordinary and lofty status. To kill them for no reason was a capital crime.

Moreover, generally speaking, royal abyssals weren’t weak. Wanting to kill one wouldn’t be easy at all.

But even so, there were numerous royal abyssals slaughtered every year. The reason for this was that abyssals could devour each other. If an abyssal demon swallowed a royal abyssal, they could obtain a part of that royal abyssal’s bloodline, improving their own body and greatly enhancing their strength!

The abyssals were a ruthless and tyrannical race. There was often slaughter within their own race, and in this sort of endless slaughter the abyssals would constantly evolve and transform.
