Craft the World
Craft the World is a unique sandbox strategy game developed by Dekovir, a mix of Dungeon Keeper, Terraria and Dwarf Fortress that combines aspects of sandbox, strategy, and god-simulation games. [1] [2]
Explore different worlds populated by dangerous creatures, build a fortress, gather resources, and craft all the items, weapons, and armor you need.

God-simulation [ ]
You control a tribe of dwarves in real-time by giving them commands to dig in certain places, attack enemy creatures, and build houses and other structures. You’ll need to provide your dwarves food and clothing, as well as help them with magic when fighting against other inhabitants of the world. You start the game with one dwarf and gain additional dwarves as your experience level increases.

Every world consists of blocks, and the player can collect almost every block. While the dwarves gather resources by digging dirt, cutting trees, and breaking blocks, they find scrolls with recipes of new blocks and items. One feature of the game is a user-friendly system of recipes for crafting. The recipes are organized and easily accessible. You can craft dozens of different items: building blocks for houses, furniture, decorations, weapons, armor, ammunition, and food for your dwarves.
At the outset you find the recipes for basic tools and items, and build a small house with places to sleep and eat. Then, the size of the tribe increases and catches the attention of other inhabitants of the world. Most of them are night creatures and dwell underground. The worlds are full of fantasy creatures like zombies, skeletons, goblins, beholders, ghosts, giant spiders, and others. Some of them pay little attention to the dwarves, as long as the dwarves do not come into their field of vision. Others gather into quite large groups and try to break into the dwarves’ residence.
Tower defense [ ]
Especially dangerous are the waves of monsters that appear from time to time from portals. So, do not neglect to build a safe haven with strong walls and numerous trapdoors, cells, firing towers, and secret passageways.
Magic [ ]
As a divine being, you possess various magic spells that cost mana to cast. You can speed up the movement of the dwarfs, open small portals, illuminate dark caves, evoke natural magic in the form of rain or tree growth, hurl fireballs at the monsters’ heads, and find useful resources and hidden rooms underground, thereby helping to speed up resource extraction, exploration of the world, and the population growth of your assistants.
Different worlds [ ]
When a player’s tribe has increased to a large number of dwarfs dressed in sturdy armor, and behind them stands an imposing castle, it’s time to make every effort to find and restore the portal whose ruins are hidden deep within the level. The portal will help you to open a pathway to the next new world. Perhaps you will enter an icy, mountainous country, where you will have to conquer territory held by the evil yeti, or a wild jungle world where there is a constant tropical downpour and it is easy to drown.
Worlds
A world is an environment or dimension composed of blocks where dwarfs do their activities and missions.
These blocks are randomly generated just before the first dwarf arrives in the said dimension.
Dwarfs come from their homeland to a world through a special portal that opens near the main stockpile.

There are four different worlds that can be chosen for a custom game (single or multiplayer) or be played in a pre-set sequence in the campaign.

All worlds are generally composed with air on top, sea on both sides and various earth layers in the large middle. These earth layers are the deposit of minerals like iron, silver, gold and mithril, as well as crystals of various colors.
Columns of indestructible rock separate the earth from the seas.
In the Underground World, floating islands (around five) will appear in the air and there is no sea. The right and left edges of the map are delimited with the indestructible rock from top to bottom.
Surface of the world [ ]
The contact with the first earth layer and the air is called the surface of the world. This is where the flora grows and animals and some monsters spawn.
In the Forest, the Desert and the Underground Worlds water from the rain will occasionally form water ponds, specially if it falls over a large stone surface. In the Snow World, snow will fall instead, forming a one-to-three blocks-high snow layer over the entire surface. Some bushes will grow from snow blocks.
In the Desert World, there is no first earth layer. A thin sand layer will cover the major part of the surface, allowing a steppe-like vegetation growth. In the Desert, the second earth layer will sometimes appear in the surface, allowing the natural spawming of palms. An artificial first earth layer can be created by dwarfs to facilitate the growth of more palms.

Creatures
The worlds are full of fantasy creatures like zombies, skeletons, goblins, beholders, ghosts, giant spiders and others. Some of them pay little attention to the dwarfs, as long as the dwarfs do not come into their field of vision. Others gather into quite large groups and try to break into the dwarfs’ residence. The sections below try and classify them according to their hostility levels.

Player related [ ]
Ultra hostile [ ]
Ultra hostile creatures will try and reach the shelter whenever they have an open path to do so. Most of them live in the surface of the world, or appear in the world on raids, from where they commonly have an easy access to the dwarfs’ place.
Hostile [ ]
The hostile creatures attack dwarfs whenever they enter their «field of view», which can vary in size. Some, like the cave spirit, have a short view range, while others like the guardian, have a larger view range.
While their view isn’t «directional», meaning that they’re sensible towards all directions all the time (and not only to what is in front of them), their view can be obstructed by foreground blocks.
Additionally, creatures that have a base (like cave goblins) and those that have or create nests (like giant ants, giant spiders and flying octopuses) have a sensibility related to their nest or campsite, that isn’t be obstructed by foreground blocks.
Most of them live in the underground, or are attached to very specific places in the nature.

Skills [ ]
How you equip skills to your dwarfs will have a large effect on how well you can defend. The following are good options on how to distribute skills:
As long as a dwarf has a combat skill, they will continually become more effective in battles, and will get most of your kills until you make more consistent tower defences.
It’s possible to spend the initial gold to get mining and any missing crafting skills, but getting combat skills as soon as possible is a more safe way to go. The more you mine, the more gold coins you will find.
Base layout [ ]
You will be fine just building one-level-thick stone walls to enclose your base for at least the first few hours of the first level, upgrading later to two layers thick, then upgrading one or both levels to bricks as you get them.
Try not to think of your base as being an unbreakable nut to crack, but more as a way to funnel attackers so you control the engagement. For example, a long corridor filled with doors will allow you to attack even with melee without getting hit back. Using spikes and traps will give your missile troops more time to kill enemies. A row of spike traps will also give you extra time.
Armor your melee dwarfs initially. If you need to put armor on your archers/mages to protect them, your base layout needs improvement. Once you start going after guardians though, you’ll definitely want to armor everyone up.
Crafting
One feature of Craft the World is a user-friendly system of recipes for crafting. The recipes are organized and easily accessible. The player can craft hundreds of different items, including building blocks for houses, furniture, decorations, weapons, armor, ammunition, and food for your dwarfs.
The player can also disassemble items to regain some resources from the items he/she does not need nor intend to use.
In Campaign mode, you unlock different crafting recipes as you master different tiers of the Tech Tree.
In Sandbox mode, you are able to craft any item in the game from the start — provided you find the Recipe while digging, have the recipe memorized, or you keep the list of craftable items open for reference.
Many of the items that can be crafted require specific crafting stations. For example, to cook most food items, you will require a kitchen; and to craft armors (from the Expert Armor tier or higher), you need a forge.

Workshop Panel Description [ ]
The Workshop Panel is divided into two sections. The left section shows the Inventory Panel which shows you how many you have of:
Click on the buttons at the top of the Inventory Panel to access each section of the Inventory.
A picture of each item is shown in a slot in the Inventory Panel with the number of items shown as a number in the bottom right of each slot. As items are harvested or become available through upgrades in the Tech Tree, more item slots will be displayed in each section of the Inventory.
Hover the mouse pointer over each slot to see the item label. The item labels reveals the item name and, in some cases, some additional information, such as Durability, Mining, Lubering, Damage, Armor, Agility, Comfort, Feeding and Healing.
Clicking on the item slot activates an Information Banner at the bottom of the inventory panel. Clicking on the «i» button on the banner opens the recipe scroll for the item. If the item is craftable, just double-clicking on its slot will open the recipe scroll directly.

Skill
Each dwarf starts with one random skill at level 10, which can be improved with skill books and with skill items. Skill books drop randomly from blocks and can either add new skills to the dwarves or increase current skill levels. These books can also be bought at the goblin shop for two coins each. Equipable skill items will improve the respective skill by 30%. The only skill that has no boost item related is the hunter skill.

The miller skill increases a dwarf’s ability to prepare flour on a mill. This skill can be increased by using miller’s books or by preparing flour. Equipping a sieve while working on it will make skill increase faster.
Miner [ ]
The miner skill increases a dwarf’s mining. This skill can be increased by using miner’s books, by mining blocks, by placing a Statue of Rorry Stoneskin, and by equipping a portable lamp.
Smith [ ]
The smith skill increases a dwarf’s crafting when using a forge. This skill can be increased by using smithing books, by crafting using a forge and by equipping a smithing apron.
Stonemason [ ]
The stonemason skill increases a dwarf’s crafting when using a workshop. This skill can be increased by using stonemason books, by crafting using a workshop, and by equipping stonemason’s tools.
Combat [ ]
Archer [ ]
Archers are skill based dwarfs, but to use a bow a dwarf does not need this skill. The best bow for an archer is the heavy bow. Archers can improve their skill by fighting monsters/animals (with their bow), using archer skill books and wearing archer’s glove.
Mages are one of the skill based dwarfs you can create. The best weapons and addition to this dwarf are a mithril wizard’s staff, a bag of elixirs and a beautiful witch hat, if playing during the Halloween event days.
Warrior [ ]
Warrior or Swordsman dwarfs are dwarfs with the warrior skill. Dwarfs can improve this skill by reading warrior skills books, by placing a Gunnar Ironfist Statue, and using good melee weapons.

Male and female differences [ ]
Originally the game featured only male dwarfs as the playable race. The female characters, available with the Sisters in Arms DLC, are equivalent in everything: A.I., behaviour, carring capacity, tasks assignments and skill progression. They only differ in visual appearance, in voice timbre and in few attributes, like health, base armor and speed (walking, running, jumping, climbing and swimming).

Spawn [ ]The player begins each new world with only one dwarf. As he/she levels up, one new dwarf will spawn, always at the stockpile — one dwarf per level. The maximum number of them being 20, as this is the maximum reachable level in the game. Randomness [ ]All spawning dwarfs are random on their: Health [ ]The health of each dwarf is represented by 3 red hearts — The health of each monster is represented by 3 green hearts — And the health of each animal, usually non-hostile or semi-hostile, is represented by 3 yellow hearts — When a target get damaged, the heart more on the right will shrink until it disappears. When all hearts are gone, the target dies. Causes of health loss [ ]Quite a few things may inflict damage on dwarfs, some will make them die, some not. Group of dwarfs [ ]Six is the maximum number of dwarfs in a biome. They are choosen randomly from the original world and travel to the biome keeping their name and skills, but they arrive in the biome with no armor or equipment. Dead dwarfs are gone for good, however, if there is a Soul Keeper set up at home, the player can resurrect them once leaving the biome. Challenge [ ]The chest in the Forest Biome Each biome has a specific goal to be acomplished. This goal always consists in removing a construction that is protected or surrounded by special creatures. Completing the challenge awards the player with some of the possible biome loot. This loot will be available once back to the world. Farming [ ]
Besides the special loot, biomes are useful to ensure that there is no shortage of raw resources in worlds, even when the whole map is dug up. To take resources from the biome, items like ingots, armors, helmets, weapons, etc. must be disassembled to the state of nuggets, because only raw resources are transferred back to the world. Types [ ]There are four biomes, each one with their special creatures and loot: Pause and save [ ]There is no way to pause a game in biome. Even if playing single player. Pressing ‘ESC’ to open the main menu will display «Paused» in an overlay, but the in-game time does not stops at all. And there is no way to save a game in biome. If the player quits before completing the challenge, all the progress will be lost and no resources will be transferred to the original world. Some players though have noticed that quiting without acomplishing the challenge, but after 30 in-game minutes does allow the raw resources to be transferred. ContentsBlock space [ ]A block space is the base spatial unit that forms the total space of a world. Smaller worlds have less block spaces, while larger worlds have more block spaces. Each block space has three possible layers: one that varies depending if the block space if above or below the «sea level», plus the background and foreground layers, that is where background and foreground blocks may exist respectively. Above the sea level [ ]Above the sea level, each block space has the following layers: Below the sea level [ ]Below the sea level, each block space has the following layers: * There are few exceptions on rare underground caves that have no unremovable rock. Those spaces act like the sky, where dwarfs and creatures cannot climb. Manipulable blocks [ ]Manipulable blocks, or simply blocks, are spatial items that dwarfs and monsters can interact with. These blocks can be: Types of blocks by layer [ ]Manipulable blocks are spatial in the sense that they can occupy either the foreground or the background layer in a block space. Background block [ ]Background blocks do not prevent dwarfs and creatures from traversing them. All dwarfs and a few types of creatures (like the giant spider) can use background blocks to climb. Background blocks be placed on any empty block space, including spaces in the sky, with no connection between them. Foreground block [ ]Most foreground blocks act as barriers. Foreground blocks can only exist or be placed in front of a background block. Placing, for example, an earth item in an empty block space, will create a background block of earth. Placing earth again on the same spot will create the foreground block of earth. Types of blocks by material [ ]Each block, depending on its material, has specific behavior, hardness and dropped items or minerals. Earth [ ]Earth blocks may contain minerals, following this behavior for naturally generated foreground and background blocks at the same spot: THE MOST TYPICAL: Foreground and background blocks with no minerals at all. There are 5 kind of earth blocks available in the game: This kind of block produces earth but they have also a chance to produce grain (5% chance). This kind of block produces earth but they have also a chance to produce sand (30% chance). This kind of block produces earth but they have also a chance to produce coal (25% chance) or Stone (15% chance). This kind of block produces earth but they have also a chance to produce iron ore (25% chance). If you remove any kind of block under a sand block, the sand will fall down and will block your passage. Stone [ ]70 Strength This kind of block produces stone. This kind of block allows water to stay much longer than the other kind of blocks, so it’s perfect if you want to create a fishing pond or water reservoir. Other Resources [ ]Each of the following materials can be found on any block that has the related image (which can be found as overlay on any earth block), and adds a certain extra durability to the block making it take longer to mine.
Water [ ]Each world has a lake with water that can be used for fishing as well as the ocean on each side of the map. Every time it rains the water level will raise a bit (except for the ocean), so be careful when you dig, since you may accidentally create small ponds that could be dangerous for dwarfs. In order to make the dwarfs swim without risks, you should use the Diving Helmet or have them learn the swimming skill. When you reach the deepest underground level, you will find a river of lava that runs the length of the map. This river is lethal so you should prevent the dwarfs from falling in. ArmorsArmors are used by dwarfs to increase their personal protection by reducing damages inflicted by creatures. ContentsProperties [ ]Armor [ ]This property appears as a green positive integer when hovering the cursor over the item in game and is shown on the second column on the tables below. The greater this value, the less damage the dwarf will suffer, except if fire is the source of damage, e.g.: the Keeper of the Altar’s fireballs. Bonus [ ]Some armor pieces grant an extra bonus other than the physical protection, generally related to a skill and declared on the item’s description. This article limits itself to indicate the existence of such secondary bonus with a plus sign ( + ) right after the armor value. For the bonus itself, see the items’ article. Agility [ ]More protection comes with the cost of mobility. The speed reduction affects the dwarfs movement while walking, running, jumping or climbing. This property appears as a red negative percentage when hovering the cursor over the item in game and is shown on the third column on the tables below. Armor per agility reduction [ ]The «A/a» number is the relation between the armor points and the agility reduction, i.e. how much armor points an item grants for each unit of agility reduced. The wooden armor, for example, not only is the lower in absolute armor points but also has the worst A/a index, because it causes more speed reduction than protection increase. Dig out several [7] sand blocks. Sand is very loose, so be careful not to bury the dwarves. Collect stones [ ]Complete the shelter [ ]Complete the shelter by putting up a totem in its center. This will scare off monsters and evil spirits. The shelter must be protected by walls on all sides, while the entrances should be covered with doors or hatches. Find iron ore [ ]Make some food [ ]Put some kind of food on the table, like apples. The dwarves will take the food on their own when they are hungry. Kill 10 skeletons [ ]Kill 10 skeletons attacking your camp to gain some combat experience. Mark the nearest skeleton so that the dwarves attack it together. Collect coal [ ]Find coal [10] deposits, which you will need to make weapons and cook food. Cut down 30 trees [ ]You will need a lot of wood to build ladders and furniture. Cut down 30 trees to save up some wood. Explore deep down [ ]Some minerals are buried at great depths. Dig a mine to explore deeper deposits. Protect your home [ ]Make the house more comfortable [ ]Dwarves recover more quickly in a cozy home. Improve the comfort of the shelter by placing extra pieces of furniture inside: chairs, windows, dressers, etc. Make equipment [ ]Increase the personal protection of your dwarves. Make a protective helmet, jacket, or boots and put them on a dwarf. Fortify the house [ ]The stronger the walls of the shelter are, the harder it will be for the monsters to get through them. Replace any fragile earthen walls with stone or brick ones. Find precious metals [ ]To create jewelry and advanced weapons, you will need rare precious metals: silver, gold, and mithril. Dig deeper to find them. Strengthen your arms [ ]Build a blacksmith’s stable to forge stronger armor and weapons. Use hardened steel instead of iron. Fishing [ ]Fish is a perpetual, convenient source of food. Make a fishing rod and find the nearest freshwater pond for fishing. Farming [ ]It’s more reliable to grow your own food than to spend time searching for it. Plant wheat in the ground and water it several times. Once the wheat has grown, you will be able to gather it and use it for cooking. Build a railway [ ]Carts on rails can horizontally transport dwarves through mines more quickly. Build a railroad. To place stops along the way, use railway switches. Find a hidden room [ ]There are many abandoned mines and rooms underground, and they can contain useful objects. Use a compass spell to point you in the direction of one of these places nearby. Repair the portal [ ]Somewhere under the ground are the ruins of an ancient portal that opens a door between the worlds. Find the portal room and rebuild it. Block recipes will appear after you find it. Unavailable Tasks [ ]Tasks changed a lot as the game updated. Make a torch [ ]Dungeons are dark and full of various monsters. You have to illuminate the passages that dwarves make with torches. Make a torch and put it inside a passage. Make a wooden hatch [ ]Entrance to the shelter has to be limited for the outsiders. Build a wooden hatch that would cover the entrance. Build a ladder [ ]Climbing through a tunnel can be dangerous and slow without an additional support. Build a ladder and place it in a tunnel. Build a shelter [ ]Start building a shelter. Dig a small cave with a vertical shaft entrance. Build a ladder in the shaft and install a hatch at the entrance. Give a new weapon [ ]Give the dwarves a more powerful weapon than a knife. To do this, click on Equip and drag any weapon available from the stock to the dwarf’s gear. Make beds [ ]Dwarves can rest only inside the shelter. But they need beds for that. Assemble and install the beds inside the shelter. Make a table [ ]When dwarves are working, they gradually become hungry. Build a table where dwarves can eat. Feed the dwarves [ ]What dwarf doesn’t like good food! Cook an exotic dish for your subjects in the oven. Hunt a beast [ ]Animals are not only the source of food, but also of a variety of resources, such as wool. Find in the vicinity of the camp a beast and mark it as a hunting target. Find underground resources [ ]Dig deeper and you will find some types of minerals. They look like specks in the usual earth blocks. Gather water [ ]Water is a source for cooking and a component of many necessary objects. Make a bucket to collect water. After that, you will be able to mark water blocks for collection. Having multiple buckets will speed up the process. Enlarge the shelter [ ]Increase the size of your shelter so that all dwarves would have space and beds. Make a sword [ ]Make a sword from the mined iron, a main melee weapon. Cast a spell [ ]It is important to help your ward when necessary. Use a spell to destroy the monsters, open a portal or grow a forest. Shopping [ ]Some objects are particularly difficult to make because they require rare resources. Use dwarves store to get a rare or unique object. Wiki craft the world
A pet is a creature the player recieve to help dwarfs in their task of shelter protection. To have them, the player must craft a pet house and place this item anywhere on the map, preferably inside the shelter, near to where monsters will try to break in. The pets are available [1] in all worlds and biomes.

Types [ ]
There are 2 types of pets, similar in their behavior, but with small differences in their attributes, which are listed below.
Frogolisk [ ]
The frogolisk [3] spawns when a frogolisk house is placed. It’s tougher, does less damage and is slower than the owlcat.
This creature is an incredible mix of a frog and a reptile. It serves the dwarves as a faithful companion and a guardian for their shelter.
Owlcat [ ]
The owlcat [4] spawns when a owlcat house is placed. It’s faster, does more damage and is more fragile than the frogolisk.
Neither a cat nor an owl – just another pet to help the dwarves in their adventures.
Old friend [ ]
The old friend [5] spawns when a house of an old friend is placed. It has the same statistics of the owlcat.

To have a pet, the player must craft and place a pet house, which is an advanced construction. Each type of pet has its own kind of pet house, and will only sleep if there is an empty house of its type.
Each pet house creates a kind of radius which the animal will try to protect. It’s possible though to use it aggressively by replacing the house to near where the enemies are / are spawning (e.g. near the pyramids in the desert world). As a monster enters this radius, the pet will migrate to its new «nest» to defend it. If no enemy approaches, the pet will only migrate when it will try to sleep.
The pet houses have distinct crafting recipes:
Maximum number [ ]
The amount of pets a player can have is limited by the player’s level, being the maximum number of pets half of the player’s level, and considering only the integer number. So, if a player is level 6 and has 3 pets, he’ll only be allowed a 4th tamed animal leveling up to 8. As the maximum level a player can reach is 20, the highest amount of pets a player can have in the game is 10.

The number of dwarfs has no influence in this count. So if the player loses one or more dwarfs, the maximum number of pets he can have will not be affected.
Behavior [ ]
Health [ ]
The health of each animal is represented by 3 red [*] hearts — . When it gets damaged, the heart more on the right will shrink until it disappears. If all hearts are gone, the pet dies.
Death and respawn [ ]
Pets respawn like dwarfs, also after a penalty time. But with pets, this penalty time only applies after the 2nd pet dead. This means that, if the player hasn’t lost any pet for a while, the next pet dead will respawn immeadiatelly.
Sleep time [ ]
Like dwarfs, pets also recover health while sleeping. But here, the player has no control on commanding them to go rest. Pets, unlike the dwarfs, will try to rest whenever they aren’t full health, and if there are no hostile creatures around it. If there are enemies around, the pet will fight them until it’s very low on HP. The animal then will try to escape, running to its house. If it gets there, it will only rest though if there are no hostile creature near its house.
This is why putting the pet’s house outside the shelter, may be considered a bad idea, because, when hurted, the poor creature may not find a way to rest and recover HP, dying more than it would be necessary. It’s recommended though to place their houses inside the shelter, to give them a peaceful environment for them to rest, but also to profit from the 15 points of confort each pet house delivers.
Idle time [ ]
If a pet has full health and has no ennemy around it’s house, it will occasionally approach to one of the dwarfs to interact with him/her. This is only a cosmetic animation.
Wiki craft the world

Mining Blocks
Coins can be found randomly while mining, as an additional possible drop from every natural block, i.e., blocks placed by dwarfs have no chance of dropping coins when dug.
Tricky Toki Statue
The Tricky Toki Statue may increase the chances of getting coins when mining.
When placed inside or outside the shelter, it increases the chances of finding coins. Monsters cannot destroy statues.
Differently from Gunnar Ironfist or Rorry Stoneskin statues, the bonus from Tricky Toki does stack, but with disminishing amounts; i.e., there is a benefit of placing more than one Tricky Toki, but this benefit is smaller the more statues are placed.

There are two Steam achievements related to coins.
The first is easy to get and requires no focused effort; playing the game casually, the player will find the 200 coins sooner or later.
The second, about the mercenaries, can only be accomplished in the Underground Biome and requires some hours playing the game focusing on this objective. The player will have to dig around 60% of all blocks (back and foreground) of the map, in order to get enough coins to pay for mercenaries.

Главный условием открытия нового уровня является восстановление портала между мирами (состоит из 5 элементов, рецепты которых падают с боссов в секретных комнатах).

Мобы делятся на четыре вида: дружелюбные, нейтральные, враждебные и призываемые.
Дружелюбных мобов можно приручить, построив ферму. Игрок будет получать определенные ресурсы от прирученного моба (овцы, ламы, курицы) с определенной периодичностью.
Кроме того, игрок может призывать мобов, которые будут помогать ему в сборе ресурсов (импы), копать, сражаться, строить (гномы).
Враждебные мобы, поджидают игрока повсюду: на поверхности и под землей.

Coal is the most common of all of the ores and the veins are usually found between lower dirt (not surface) and rocky light dirt. Coal can be used for making many items, especially those needing the forge or the kitchen to be crafted/cooked.

While in other worlds it rains, producing water, in the Snow World it snows, producing blocks of snow. And while water can only be collected with buckets, dwarfs can dig snow as any other solid block. It can be used to make ice. If you put snow underground, it will melt into water.

Snow is an easily obtained natural resource, not only because it’s abundant above ground, but also because it’s very fast dug, even with a stone pickaxe. When digging snow blocks there is a 20% chance of also getting berries.

When a dwarf is given a order to place a snow block, he will always place it in the foreground. Although it is possible to use snow in the background by replacing any other material already placed. So, if the player wishes to create a snow background where there isn’t any, he/she should first place a background of earth, for example, and then replace it by snow. It may be useful at the very early game when creating the shelter ambience, and either earth and stone are not so accessible than snow.

Producing water [ ]
After being placed underground by a dwarf, a block of snow will melt into water after approximately 12 seconds, and will produce a 1 block puddle of water, which generates 1 water bag after being collected. It is though more efficient to use ice in this process. Four snow blocks are used to produce 1 ice, and this will melt, after the same dozen seconds, into a 5 block puddle of water, which generates 5 water bags after being collected. The ice option will spare 80% of dwarf placing actions and 80% of waiting time (for blocks to melt).

Tools are items used for a great variety of tasks, the most important of which are mining and lumbering.
They can be given individually to dwarfs through the firs tab of the «Equip» menu (axe icon).
Dwarfs will use some others only automatically, so they won’t appear in the «Equip» menu.
All tools though can be found in the 4th tab of the «Craft» menu (helmet icon).

If you are reading this, you are probably a newly-appointed administrator on a Gamepedia wiki. If so, congratulations! You have been granted an additional set of permissions to help you make your wiki a better place both for its readers and for its editors. This guide is intended to help you use your position responsibly.

Meaning of «administrator»
On most Gamepedia wikis, users with access to moderation tools have the wiki guardian role, while on some wikis, the standard MediaWiki administrator role is used instead. On wikis using the standard role, some administrators may also have the bureaucrat role that lets them promote and demote administrators.
In this guide, wiki guardians, administrators, and bureaucrats are all called just «administrators».
General guidelines
On public and open wikis, consensus is preferred to hierarchy. While this doesn’t mean decisions are based on vote counts, this does mean that you should discuss a problem and try to find an optimal solution. Making a decision unilaterally and imposing it upon others is ill-advised.
Your administrator role makes others expect you to take responsibility for your community. That includes keeping discussions civil, helping make the articles as complete, accurate, and easy to use as possible, and other things. The following principles are thought to be «best practices» for administrators:
Assume good faith When there’s doubt about whether an edit was intended to help the wiki, assume it was and treat the editor that way. If an edit is obviously abusive, feel free to take appropriate action, but where’s there is doubt, give the editor the benefit of that doubt. Administrate users, not content In content disputes, an administrator’s voice should be viewed like that of any other user. Administrators should try to help others reach agreement peacefully, and only impose their opinions if the community fails to achieve consensus. Administrators may offer their opinion as well – while taking care not to sound as though they’re enforcing it. Be light-handed Try to settle problems with the minimum possible use of administrative powers. For example, consider edit wars, which is when two or more good-faith users keep reverting each other on some page. To stop an edit war, try warning the warring users first and getting them to discuss the problem. This applies especially if you only need to get their attention. You might also need to briefly protect the page. Try to use blocks only when nothing else works. You can, of course, block clearly bad-faith users at once. This includes spammers, vandals, and more. But even then, don’t block IP addresses indefinitely or for too long. IPs change owners over time, and the longer the block, the more likely it is to affect good-faith editors. In most cases, blocking IPs after just one bad-faith edit is not useful; some people consider 3 recent edits a good rule of thumb for whether to block an IP. Should your wiki have major problems with malevolent editors, contact GRASP or your wiki manager.
Wiki design rules
Article information isn’t the only part of a wiki. Having a visually appealing, easy-to-understand, and lightweight design is no less important. As such, the editor communities are encouraged to improve the appearance of their wikis. Administrators can change the design significantly for all visitors, however, there are some wiki design rules that you are required to follow. In particular, do not change or hide any Gamepedia or Fandom sections or ads. If you’re not sure if something is allowed, contact staff via one of the methods below.

Blocking
Blocking an account, IP, or an IP range makes the target of the block unable to perform most actions on the wiki. Blocked users can still read pages, but they cannot create, edit, or move pages, nor can they upload files. A block also disables all administrative permissions, except the abilities to block and unblock (including the ability to unblock self).
Blocks should be used not to punish people who misbehave, but to prevent them from harming the wiki. See Blocking guidelines for more details on blocking individual users.
By default, blocks make a user unable to edit any page on the wiki. A newer feature, partial blocks, lets admins prevent users from editing only some pages or namespaces.
To apply or change a block, use the form on the special page Special:Block. This form is usually reached from a user’s user page, their contributions page, the recent changes page, or the watchlist.
When applying or changing a block, you need to specify appropriate settings first.
Click «Block this user» to apply the block. All blocks are recorded in the block log, and all currently active blocks are listed at the list of active blocks.
Blocking options
The blocking page has several important options associated with the block:
Unblocking
To lift a block, visit the list of active blocks. Find the IP address or registered user account you wish to unblock in the list (you can enter the address or name in the «search» field to help you find the entry), and click the «Unblock» link displayed to the right of the block’s expiry time.
This will lead you to a confirmation page. Enter the (optional) reason for unblocking in the «Reason» field, and click «Unblock this address» to remove the block. All unblocks are recorded in the block log.
Deleting
When deleting a page, make sure you check «What links here» and ensure that the deletion does not unwantedly break links on other pages.
Don’t delete an image you’re not sure is unused: images used as part of the wiki’s design (skin) will not show up as used or linked. For that reason, it’s preferred to have a placeholder page that lists images used in ways the software cannot detect.
Hiding individual revisions
Sometimes it is needed to suppress the visibility of a single revision only (its text, its summary, or the name of the user who made it). This operation, revision deletion, is allowed only for especially gross vandalism and sensitive information. If you see such revisions, especially if they involve private information, revert them immediately and contact your wiki manager to have them hidden.
If your wiki is one of the few that has bureaucrats, they also have access to the tool. Make sure they’re familiar with the relevant policy.
Protecting
Protecting a page makes only users in a certain group able to change it in some manner. Protection varies in what actions are limited and to who they are limited.
Protection is mainly used for pages at a high risk of vandalism (such as the main page) or as a temporary measure to stop an ongoing revert war or a vandalism spree.
By default, there are two protection levels:
An uncommon variant of full protection is known as cascading protection. It affects not only the page, but also all images, pages, and templates included into it.
While protection is most often used to prevent edits to a page, it’s not all it can do. Protection may restrict moving pages, creating pages, and uploading (or re-uploading) files.
Move protection
On the protection page, there’s a checkbox saying «Unlock further protect options». If you check it, you can restrict move access separately from edit access. Move protection is most often used on Project pages that anyone should be able to edit, but that should generally not be moved.
Create protection
If a page does not exist, it can be protected against creation just like an existing page can be protected from moving and editing. This is usually only done for pages that are frequent vandalism targets with no reason to exist.
Note, however, that bad-faith page creation may be better to handle via abuse filters or MediaWiki:Titleblacklist. Imagine that some vandal keeps creating the page «Badword», and you protect it. The vandal will just create «Badw0rd», «Bad-word», «Bаdword» (that’s a Cyrillic letter А), and so on. Protection can only affect individual pages, so if you need to restrict creation of any pages matching a pattern, it’s not the tool for the job.
Protecting images
To protect an already uploaded image from being replaced with a newer version, you can use the Protect button like with any other page. Upload protection is common for images used on the main page, in widely used templates, or in site design.
You may also find that a file with some name should never be uploaded. Nonexistent files can be protected from uploading just like any other pages. Please note, however, that the same caveat as with create protection (see above) applies to files. Various devices and software may create files with uninformative titles matching a pattern (such as a timestamp: e. g. «File:2077-10-23 09:47.png»). You can’t protect all such titles one by one, so a regex-based filter is likely a better solution.
Notes on protection
When used to temporarily stop a revert war, protection may be viewed as an endorsement of that particular version. This is not the case. Be careful to remind other users of this and start a discussion on the article’s talk page to help resolve the conflict.
Rollback
Any user can undo edits on a page by going through its history. Administrators can also use the rollback tool to expedite the process. To revert the edits of one user to the last version by the previous editor, click the rollback link on the page history, the user contributions list, or on the diff page. The reversion will be marked as a minor edit and given an automatic edit summary based on the contents of MediaWiki:Revertpage. Rollback should only be used for clearly disruptive edits. If an edit is not such, assume good faith and leave a polite revert summary using the normal undo button.
Impartiality
Many active administrators also often edit the wiki. This can cause conflict of interest. For example, if people start personally attacking you for one of your edits, blocking them yourself makes it look like you’re using your admin tools to control wiki content.
However, the first two points assume some other administrator is ready to handle your request. If there are no other admins, if they are inactive, or if the case is urgent, you will have to contact your wiki manager or handle the problem yourself.
Cultural reverence of administrators
Ideally, wiki administrators should only have as much say in the editorial process as any other editor. However, the voice of an admin invariably will carry more weight than that of a non-admin. This extra admin weight is not their fault, it stems from the culture of the world. People tend to look up to those of a higher «rank», such as administrators, and are less willing to dispute them. Every administrator should be careful to avoid abusing this extra editorial power that comes from reverence. Specific suggestions on how to do this are, by nature, controversial – thus, if you disagree with any suggestion below, please take your case to the talk page.
These guidelines can help you avoid abusing your accidental admin authority. They are listed (roughly) from easiest to hardest to follow.

Towers
Towers are defensive structures crafted by dwarfs that may kill hostile creatures when placed in strategic spots.

History [ ]
The campaign mode is the classic way of playing Craft the World and the Forest World was the only available environment to play. All others modes — like Multiplayer and Custom — as well as other worlds were implemented later.
Dragon
These silly creatures fly through the tunnels with great dexterity. They keep their distance from their foes and aggressively hurl fireballs, especially near their lava nests.
Dragon [1] is a dangerous [2] hostile flying red creature that spawn at lava level where they defend their nest.

Behavior [ ]
They are ranged creatures, usually flying away from attackers and shooting fireballs at their enemies.
Attack [ ]
The dragon fireball attack has an area damage and a important knockback effect. The damage value itself is irrelevant, if dwarfs have a minimum armor. It starts being annoying if there is a group of dragons attacking. The knockback effect though is extremely dangerous, especially if dwarfs are fighting near a lava hole and if many dragons hurl their fireballs more or less together. The knockback effect does accumulate and can sometimes throw dwarfs violently and directly into the deep lava, with no chances of saving them, even if in direct control.
Underground World [ ]
Dragons in the Underground World [1] have a purple skin and have 50% more health. Aside from this, both (red and purple dragons) have the same statistics.
Stealing eggs [ ]
Stealing dragon eggs from the lava level has become more challenging since the fire mechanics introduced on v.1.4.014 (15 Feb 2018).
Farming dragons [ ]

Dragons can be very useful late-game, since they’re sure to drop 3 coins, they spawn regularly and will never run out, they can be an infinite source of coin and consequently an infinite source of any resource that can be bought on shop.
Create shaft holes to the lava level so dragons can, from time to time, exit from there going up. Place a wooden hatch there so you can block the dragons way back to the lava. Also, placing hatches and using them properly allow you to fight one dragon at a time. If you can afford, an iron hatch is better as it can not be burned by the dragons’ fireball. But the eventual fire on the wooden hatch isn’t a big of a deal, as you can click on it and order «extinguish». Always remember to close the hatch before killing the dragon to avoid the loot falling down into the lava.
Bucket
Buckets are used for collecting water. The more buckets you have, the more water your dwarves can carry at a time.

If there is a removable/diggable background on the block, or if the block is part of a pond with fishes, more than one option will popup:
The «Gather Water» option requires at least one bucket available in the stock.
Dwarfs do not need to search for buckets at the stock, neither to be equipped with them through the equip menu, to gather water; they do it automatically, like with other tools.
After the buckets have been crafted at the workbench and carried to the stockpile, they become available for dwarfs to gather water.
Gathering process [ ]
The gathering process consists in two steps:
Both steps require at least one bucket available in the stock, but only the 2nd step reduces the number of buckets available.
I.e., with only one bucket in the stock, you can order many dwarfs to bag water; and once the order is given, many dwarfs can do this at the same time. But if one dwarf take one bag of water to carry it to the stock, he will use the only bucket available, and all other dwarfs will stop bagging, waiting for the bucket to arrive at the stock and be available again, so they can continue with the bagging task. The more buckets are available, the more water can be carried by dwarfs at the same time.
Crafting recipe [ ]
Bug: disappearing buckets [ ]
There is a bug that makes buckets vanish from the world and from the inventory forever.
If dwarfs are carrying water to the stockpile (actually using a bucket, which means less one bucket on stock), and the player issues an attack command, dwarfs will drop the bags of water on the ground, but the game will fail to reinstate the bucket being used, and it is lost forever. Dwarfs will have to craft new buckets.
To avoid this bug, dwarfs should only gather water on tranquil areas. And most important, the player should never order an attack while dwarfs are carrying water to the stock.
This is not gamebreaking, but it is consistently reproducible, it has been around at least since 2014, [1] and is present in version 1.9.006 (January 2022).
Multiplayer game

В режиме своей игры тоже есть свои режимы. Скажем пару слов о них. Песочница — это режим, где не используется дерево технологий. Любой предмет можно сделать в самом начале игры. Дерево технологий — режим, где мир построен на продвижении по дереву. Это значит, что рецепты новых предметов становятся доступны только после выполнения неких условий.

You control a tribe of dwarves in real-time by giving them commands to dig in certain places, attack enemy creatures, and build houses and other structures. You’ll need to provide your dwarves food and clothing, as well as help them with magic when fighting against other inhabitants of the world. You start the game with one dwarf and gain additional dwarves as your experience level increases.

Crafting
Every world consists of blocks, and the player can collect almost every block. While the dwarves gather resources by digging dirt, cutting trees, and breaking blocks, they find scrolls with recipes of new blocks and items. One feature of the game is a user-friendly system of recipes for crafting. The recipes are organized and easily accessible. You can craft dozens of different items: building blocks for houses, furniture, decorations, weapons, armor, ammunition, and food for your dwarves.
At the outset you find the recipes for basic tools and items, and build a small house with places to sleep and eat. Then, the size of the tribe increases and catches the attention of other inhabitants of the world. Most of them are night creatures and dwell underground. The worlds are full of fantasy creatures like zombies, skeletons, goblins, beholders, ghosts, giant spiders, and others. Some of them pay little attention to the dwarves, as long as the dwarves do not come into their field of vision. Others gather into quite large groups and try to break into the dwarves’ residence.
Tower defense
Especially dangerous are the waves of monsters that appear from time to time from portals. So, do not neglect to build a safe haven with strong walls and numerous trapdoors, cells, firing towers, and secret passageways.
Magic
As a divine being, you possess various magic spells that cost mana to cast. You can speed up the movement of the dwarfs, open small portals, illuminate dark caves, evoke natural magic in the form of rain or tree growth, hurl fireballs at the ’ heads, and find useful resources and hidden rooms underground, thereby helping to speed up resource extraction, exploration of the world, and the population growth of your assistants.
Different worlds
When a player’s tribe has increased to a large number of dwarfs dressed in sturdy armor, and behind them stands an imposing castle, it’s time to make every effort to find and restore the portal whose ruins are hidden deep within the level. The portal will help you to open a pathway to the next new world. Perhaps you will enter an icy, mountainous country, where you will have to conquer territory held by the evil yeti, or a wild jungle world where there is a constant tropical downpour and it is easy to drown.

Задания и приоритеты
В первую очередь работники идут к ближайшим объектам. То есть если около дома находится куча ресурсов, а задание на рытьё тоннелей стоит чуть дальше, то, естественно, работы по сбору ресурсов будут выполнены первыми, а всё, что находится дальше, откладывается до завершения ближайших заданий. Вообще, чем больше гномов, тем больше шанс, что рабочих рук хватит на всё. В связи со случайно выбираемой профессией работника гномы выполняют приказы лучше по своей специализации эффективней. То есть кузнец будет ковать предметы быстрее, чем повар.
Вся игра поставлена на маршрутах, которые гномы формируют при выполнении задания. Этот маршрут меняется, если даже его выполнение пошло.
Как защищаться: постройка города, организация обороны
Как построить дом, где гномы будут спать, есть и работать?
Проверить границы дома можно увидев звёздочки, летящие по периметру стен, они очертят безопасное пространство и укажут на дыры.
Как организовать быт?
В доме всегда должно быть, как минимум, одно рабочее место на каждую группу материалов:
В доме всегда должны быть кровати на каждого работника. Гномы не могут спать на одной кровати по очереди. В доме обязательно должен быть обеденный стол. На кухне ваши работнички будут готовить себе еду (по вашей инициативе, конечно же), а на стол вы сами будете выкладывать то, что считаете нужным.
Заметьте, чем лучше накормлены ваши работники, тем лучше они будут работать. Уставший и недоедающий гном будет еле-еле волочить ноги, а когда загрузится ресурсами, так вообще поплетётся как улитка. Но если вы накормили его от пуза, то он начнёт носиться, как электрический веник! Для хорошего откорма нужно очень много разнообразной еды. Одним видом еды гномы не наедаются, немного погодя едоки начинают жаловаться на однообразие. Выкладывайте: один вид простейший: шишка, кокос, а второй — чуть более сложный в производстве. В идеале, для экономии угля у вас на столах должны лежать 2 вида, не требующих термообработки: шишка + салат, шишка + сало, шишка + грибной салат. Этого будет достаточно.
Не менее важным является уют жилища. От него зависит скорость восстановления здоровья ваших поселенцев и пропорционально ускоряет время, необходимое на сон.
Как организовать оборону?
Учтите, за убийство врагов будут давать опыт и если вы просто начнёте их игнорировать не вступая в бой, вы не получите ничего.
Кстати, убитый гном не воскрешается, на его место просто приходит новый не прокачанный персонаж (по истечении определённого времени). То есть все его изученные навыки обнуляются, а амуниция остаётся лежать на месте смерти(В более новых версиях есть возможность воскрешать убитых гномов)
Male and female differences[]
Originally the game featured only male dwarfs as the playable race. The female characters, available with the Sisters in Arms DLC, are equivalent in everything: A.I., behaviour, carring capacity, tasks assignments and skill progression. They only differ in visual appearance, in voice timbre and in few attributes, like health, base armor and speed (walking, running, jumping, climbing and swimming).

Archer
Archers are skill based dwarfs, but to use a a dwarf does not need this skill. The best bow for an archer is the heavy bow. Archers can improve their skill by fighting monsters/animals (with their bow), using archer skill books and wearing archer’s glove.
Mages are one of the skill based dwarfs you can create. The best weapons and addition to this dwarf are a mithril wizard’s staff, a bag of elixirs and a beautiful witch hat, if playing during the Halloween event days.
Mages will also spontaneously use some elixirs, and it is not possible for the player to control this. They can:
Warrior
Base layout[]
You will be fine just building one-level-thick stone walls to enclose your base for at least the first few hours of the first level, upgrading later to two layers thick, then upgrading one or both levels to bricks as you get them.
Try not to think of your base as being an unbreakable nut to crack, but more as a way to funnel attackers so you control the engagement. For example, a long corridor filled with doors will allow you to attack even with without getting hit back. Using spikes and traps will give your missile troops more time to kill enemies. A row of spike traps will also give you extra time.
Armor your melee dwarfs initially. If you need to put armor on your / to protect them, your base layout needs improvement. Once you start going after guardians though, you’ll definitely want to armor everyone up.

Доброго времени суток, дорогой друг! Сегодня мы представим хоть и не новую, но довольно интересную игру в жанре двухмерного платформера под названием Craft The World. Разработали ее ребята из Dekovir Entertainment. И доступна игра как на ios, OSX, так и на Windows. Очень интересная и необычная игра, где вам предстоит заняться сбором различных предметов, крафтов, построением крепостей и конечно же сражением с монстрами. Ammunition
According to the type of ranged weapons dwarfs are equipped with—bows, electric bow, flamethrower or guns—they will automatically select the related kind of ammo: arrows, electric charges, fuels or bullets, respectively. Each type of weapon has a default basic unlimited ammo (infinity symbol), so dwarfs can shoot at will as soon as they’re armed. This basic ammo is always «enabled» (green check) in the «» menu for dwarfs using a related ranged weapon.
For the purpose of increasing the damage applied, special ammo can be crafted and used on most critical battles. These items have to be crafted individually on crafting stations and carried to the stock for then become available in the «Equip» menu, where they can be enabled/disabled for each dwarf separately. They are disabled by default for all dwarfs. But equipping a dwarf with a (new) ranged weapon automatically enables all types of special ammo related to that (new) weapon and already existing in the stock. When more than one type of ammo is enabled for a dwarf, the most effective will be used first.

Melee[]
Some melee weapons come with a inherent hit rate bonus; mostly swords and spears. It’s exact values aren’t visible for players inside the game. Algthough it is noticeable that some weapons make dwarfs hit faster than others. A great example of this disparity is the Mithril Sword with a speed bonus of +200% and the Mithril Hammer with no bonus at all.

Background block
Background blocks do not prevent dwarfs and creatures from traversing them.
All dwarfs and a few types of creatures (like the giant spider) can use background blocks to climb.
Foreground block
Most foreground blocks act as barriers.
Foreground blocks can only exist or be placed in front of a background block.
Placing, for example, an earth item in an empty block space, will create a background block of earth.
Placing earth again on the same spot will create the foreground block of earth.
Each block, depending on its material, has specific behavior, hardness and dropped items or minerals.

As the time passes, the dwarfs become hungry and the slice more on the right will shrink until it disappears. The losing of satiety points follow this rule: So, more tasks the dwarfs receive, more food should be served on the table. Hungry If there is one or more dwarfs hungry, this sign appears on the left side of the screen. Clicking on this icon will show one by one all hungry dwarfs. Monotonous food If a dwarf eat 3 times in a row the same food, there is no other kind of food served and he/she have less than 2, he/she will state: X?! I can’t eat this anymore! Being «X» the food eaten 3 times. This dwarf will have to eat at least 1 time another nutriment before he/she can eat that food again. So, there is no need to have a huge variety on the table. If the player can serve at least 2 kinds of food, there will be no monotony problem. Regen bonus All dwarfs with more than 7 satiety points receive a health regeneration bonus of 1 health point each 5 minutes. So, if food with healing properties — like apples (growing only in the forest world) — are hard to get, it’s still possible to heal the dwarfs by keeping them well fed. Farming[]Besides the special loot, biomes are useful to ensure that there is no shortage of raw resources in worlds, even when the whole map is dug up. To take resources from the biome, items like ingots, armors, helmets, weapons, etc. must be disassembled to the state of nuggets, because only raw resources are transferred back to the world. All worlds are generally composed with air on top, sea on both sides and various earth layers in the large middle. These earth layers are the deposit of minerals like iron, silver, gold and mithril, as well as crystals of various colors. Columns of indestructible rock separate the earth from the seas. In the Underground World, floating islands (around five) will appear in the air and there is no sea. The right and left edges of the map are delimited with the indestructible rock from top to bottom. In the Desert World, there is no first earth layer. A thin sand layer will cover the major part of the surface, allowing a steppe-like vegetation growth. In the Desert, the second earth layer will sometimes appear in the surface, allowing the natural spawming of palms. An artificial first earth layer can be created by dwarfs to facilitate the growth of more palms. Under all earth layers there is lava, and just above the lava, an area where everything — except background blocks and creatures — will burn. This skill can be increased by using carpenter’s books, by crafting items on the workbench and by equipping a handsaw. The cook skill increases a dwarf’s cooking. This skill can be increased by using cook books, by cooking food and by equipping a serving spoon. FisherThe fisher skill increases a dwarf’s fishing. This skill can be increased by using fisher’s books, by fishing and by equipping a bucket of worms. HunterThe hunter skill increases a dwarf’s hunting. There is no specific equipable item to boost the stonemason ability. Wiki craft the worldRaid is a wave of monsters that spawn from the red monster portals. They bring forth an invading horde of monsters such as skeletons and beholders. Completely defeating the invading force within 5 minutes gives you a large experience bonus. The portal will disappear on its own after 5 minutes. When the player reaches level 4, a countdown with a red bar will appear at the top-right corner of the screen. The first invasion happens 1 hour from the start of the game, assuming you reach level 4 quickly enough. Subsequent waves come every 50 minutes (or 5 in-game days). If you don’t plan on fighting the horde at all or don’t have a shelter, teleport your dwarves to a safe place and repair any broken wall once it is over. Tower Defense [ ]The goblin tribe is not part of such raids but may appear independently of it if they decide to attack at the same time. Experience [ ]
The player must defeat the entire horde within five minutes to receive the experience bonus. Hordes get bigger and spawn faster as the player level grows, but any enemy can appear at any level. Formula = 100 x Level 2 * Percentage of experience required to next level. Склад

Wheat can be grown to produce grain.
Planting [ ]
To grow wheat, the first step is to place grain in some earth. It must be placed on a earth block itself, not on the empty space above the block. The earth must have no tree or bush growing on it and neither can have roots.
Wheat does not need to receive sun to grow; because of this it can be safely grown and harvested underground or inside of a shelter.
It does not need watering either, despite the game description.
No tech is required to harvest wheat from nature or to plant it. But to extract grains from the wheat ears, the farming tech is needed.
Rats and crops [ ]
Rats’ nests spawn inside shelters with comfort lower than 50%.
These nests creates rats from time to time.
Rats steal food from — and only from — tables and destroy wheat fields if they have access to them.
Rats’ nests will drop 5 or 10 wheat ears when destroyed, no matter if the rats have spoiled the crops or not.

Difficulty levels modulate basically two parameters [1] in the game: the monsters’ health and output damage.
There are six difficulty levels:

These levels can be chosen on custom and multiplayer games; and are locked in the campaign.

These are the pre-set difficulty levels in campaign worlds:
Giant Worm
A mysterious beast from the depths suddenly arrives, bringing much destruction. Be alert when working deep down, and leave an escape path open! Even a group of several armed dwarves can’t handle these creatures.
Giant worm [1] is a dangerous [2] hostile creature that appears from time to time in the deep underground of Snow and Desert Worlds.

Occurrence [ ]
The giant worm only appears around dwarfs, i.e. it won’t mess with random deep underground areas if dwarfs aren’t there.
It takes a while to reappear, i.e. not twice between raids.
With the parameters above it’s possible to somewhat limit/control the worm occurrence.
Totems placed deep underground block the worms’ spawning within their influence radius. Unfortunately, having more than one totem placed in the world may cause pathfind problems.
Behavior [ ]
The giant worm causes earthquakes when it strikes and removes a row of ten to twenty blocks. The displaced resources fall on the ground and none of them are lost, excepting earth. The worm eats 20% of the displaced earth resources.
It causes panic in dwarfs, making them paralize or run away, ignoring any attack orders around the worm.
The worm also inflicts a low area damage while passing by dwarfs. Despite its bestiary description, it represents no danger in standard campaign difficulty levels.

The Worm hunter achievement is unlocked killing a giant worm.

Giant worms, along with the giant spiders, are considered by a lot of players the most annoying creatures in Craft the World. [3] Besides that, the solution proposed by the game, which is placing totems everywhere underground, may cause severe pathfind problems. Fortunately, with some easy file editing, annoyed players can remove worms from a specific type of world, or completely removed them from the game.

Mana is the magic energy that allows the player to cast spells.

Mana pool [ ]
The amount of mana available and the total mana capacity is shown on the top left corner, below the mana pool icon.
When a spell is cast, its cost in mana is removed from the mana pool.
The mana pool maximum capacity increases as the player levels up.
To increase the mana pool size beyond its natural capacity, buy mana storages at the shop, which add 20 points each when placed somewhere in the world.
Restoration [ ]
There are three ways to regain mana points:
In-game time [ ]
A mana point is renewed every 3 minutes of in-game time.
To increase this rate, buy mana generators at the shop and place them somewhere in the world.
Level up [ ]
Each time the player levels up, the mana pool is fully refilled and its maximum capacity is increased.
Mana elixir [ ]
Using a mana elixir will renew mana by 5 points.

A propos de Craft The World : [ ]
Craft The World est un jeu de type sandbox/stratégie/gestion, développé par le studio Dekovir, c’est un mélange entre Dungeon Keeper (pour les anciens), Terraria et Dwarf Fortress.
Explorez un monde généré aléatoirement peuplé de créatures hostiles et de boss, construire une mine ou une forteresse naine, récolter des ressources et fabriquer vos armes et amures seront vos principales actions dans ce monde.
Différents mode de jeu sont disponibles, une campagne où le monde et ses conditions sont prédéfinies et le mode de jeu dit «sandbox» où vous déciderez des paramètres.
Vivez dans ce monde en 2d, regardez vos nains se développer, plus vous changez de niveau plus vous gagnez de nains. Fabriquez votre maison, planter, décorer et nourrissez vos nains.
Types de mondes
Nests
There is quite a variety of nests, each one having a specific creature related to it.

Giant ants nest [ ]
Giant ants nests [1] are found underground and spawn giant ants. They are generated at the begining of the game when the whole world’s map is randomly generated. They cannot be attacked directly, but they will be destroyed after all nearby beetles have been killed.
Rats nest [ ]
Giant spiders nest [ ]
Giant spiders nests are composed basically by webs and are made by spiders in all worlds, except the Underground World. Theses nests will appear in the underground after the player has reached 20% of the level’s total depth.
Dragons nest [ ]
Dragons nests are formed basically by one dragon egg over one block of earth floating at the lava level. They’re kept by dragons.
Black dragons nest [ ]
Black dragons nest [5] are only found in the Underground World, in deep caves guarded by black dragons and, sometimes, guardians. They’re like a coin pile with some dragon eggs over it.
Flying octopuses nest [ ]
Flying octopuses create nests, usually on top of any ledges, specially on the floating islands.
Newly laid nests have no visible eggs, and drop nothing if destroyed. If left alone, it will develop to have eggs.
Well developed nests (with visible eggs) have a chance of spawning one flying octopus. If and when this happens the eggs disappear, and the nest goes back to its original form. Additionally, octopuses will spawn randomly on the surface periodically to maintain a constant world population.
After placing a new nest, the flying octopus will protect it with its life. If a dwarf aproach such a nest, the octopus owning the nest will fly down and engage the dwarf, allowing dwarfs to trap or kill the now-in-reach octopus.
Well developed octopus nests are tough and take a while to break, and will drop three eggs when destroyed.
Underground World
The Underground World is the fourth level in Craft the World. The difficulty is set to hard in campaign. It consists mostly of earth and stone blocks, along with some sand. The weather type is rain, which provides water and lakes on the surface. A new rock called sulfur can be used to make gunpowder for guns and ammo. The underground is very deep.

The Underground World features new animals and monsters.
Two creatures that spawns in other worlds, do not appear in the Underground World: the Giant Spider and the Giant Worm.
Technologies and Items [ ]
The Underground World also features completely new technologies, each of them with its items.

Mushroom Pies to Advanced Cooking
Steel Wall to Master Construction (replacing the Brick Wall, which was moved to Advanced Fortifications)

These trusty magical servants help you add a lot of items to your stockpile.
Imps are friendly flying creatures that can be summoned using the imps summon spell. They help the dwarfs gather resources, picking up items dropped in the ground and carrying them, one by one, to the nearer stockpile.

Behaviour [ ]
An imp will «choose» the item on the ground it will take and even if it’s lifespan isn’t enough to make the travel it will be prolonged to the moment they arrive to the nearest stockpile. Imps will not try to take an item if another imp has already «chosen» it, dwarfs also won’t pick up those items even if they’re closer to them than the imp.
Similar to dwarfs, imps cannot pick up scrolls or books dropped when digging.
Underwater work [ ]
Imps are impervious to drowning and can collect water without using buckets from the stockpile, allowing for their continued use, where dwarfs would use them and impede the water gathering until they get to the stockpile.
Lifespan [ ]
Imps are not attacked by other creatures, except by giant ants. The player cannot order the dwarfs to attack them, and they don’t take any damage from friendly fire. So, the player may use them even in the middle of a battle.

Описание
Скрытни появляются под землей в количестве 5 особей, в местах активности гномов. Чем чаще гном проходит по определенному участку земли и ведет активные действия, тем выше шанс появления этих тварей. Наивысший шанс их появления прямо возле порталов.
Обычно скрытень пребывает в засаде, закапываясь в блок под ним, оставляя на поверхности лишь свой панцирь, усеянный светящимися зелеными бугорками. Если по скрытню пройдет гном, то бугорки замигают, сам он начнет дрожать, а через 4-5 секунд, нападет из засады. Если к тому времени гнома уже не будет, то скрытень тут же зароется обратно. Так же он может вылезти сам, если на него напасть или если раскопать блок под ним. При том остальные собратья также вылезут из засады и кинутся на обидчика.
Скрытень очень живуч и наносит много урона. Для гномов с начальным снаряжением противостоять пятерке скрытней будет очень трудно. Лучшим выходом будет не беспокоить их, пока у вас не появится приличное снаряжение, либо закрыть землей, камнем или другими прочными материалами

Декоративный предмет и компонент для постройки дополнительного лагеря-склада.
Флаг можно просто установить на крышу или на землю для украшения. Флаг не выполняет ни каких функций при размещении в мире, просто украшение.
Является необходимым компонентом для создания дополнительных складов.
