Обновить Драйвера

Если драйвера обновлялись очень давно, то после обновления клиента игры World of Tanks, текущая версия игры может некорректно работать со старыми драйверами. Для видеокарты Nvidia

Сделать настройки основной и дополнительной видеокарты через панель управления Nvidia.

Для видеокарты Amd Radeon

Можно снизить частоту графического процессора или частоту памяти с помощью стандартной утилиты от AMD.

Для видеокарты Intel HD Grafics

Такое может быть, если конфигурация Вашего ПК ниже необхродимой. Для решения проблемы можно сбросить настройки игры.

Сломанная или Сгоревшая видеокарта

Самая неприятная и дорогостоящая причина вылета из игры WoT или вовсе не возможность ее запуска может заключаться в физическом повреждении видеокарты. Как и любой механический компонент, она может сломаться вследствии падения компьютера/ноутбука, сильного переграва, других внешних факторов. Обычно, при поломке видеокарты попробуйте присмотреться на экран монитора, вы должны увидеть некие артефакты. Проще говоря на экране будет отчетливо видно неправильное изображение. Например, на полностью черном экране заставки будут видны разноцветные участки. Это также может быть напрямую связано с вылетом танков вследствие нерабочей видеокарты. Пути решения всего два. Отнести в ремонт или купить новую. Как показывает практика и отзывы специалистов, ремонтировать старую видеокарту немногим дешевле, чем купить новую и не факт, что она дальше будет правильно работать.

Защитник Windows или антивирус

По умолчанию антивирусы всегда работают на наших устройствах. И хотя большинство хорошо оптимизировано под игры в некоторых случаях антивирус может быть причиной вылета World of Tanks. Попробуйте запустить игру с отключенным на время антивирусом или поставить игру в его исключения.

Ошибка видеокарты код 43

Ошибка с кодом 43, появляется, если Windows приостановил работу неправильно работающего устройства. Соответственно, это может быть как при запуске клиента танков, так и во время игры. Опять же это может быть и неправильно установленный драйвер и физическое повреждение видеокарты.

Был случай, когда в игровом ноутбуке с двумя видеокартами: дискретной и интегрированной, сгорела более мощная дискретная видеокарта. И как раз во время игры в World of Tanks, появлялись фиолетовые артефакты на экране и через пару минут игра просто вылетала. Решить эту проблему, а заодно выяснить, что сгорела видеокарта, удалось при помощи ошибки кода 43 и последующего отключения дискретной видеокарты в диспетчере устройств.

Проблемы после обновления игры

После выхода очередного патча WoT могут появиться ошибки, которых раньше не было. Вылет из игры или ее не запуск — один из таких случаев. Попробуйте зайти в настройки и проверить все ли правильно настроено. Или же подождите несколько дней, обычно разработчики мира танков, оперативно вносят правки и через несколько дней микро-обновлением устраняют ошибки.

Проблемы с установленными модпаками

Для правильной работы World of Tanks рекомендуется не использовать сторонние модификации, поскольку они также могут быть причиной вылетов из игры. Однако, если мод установлен и появилась такая ошибка, попробуйте сначала удалить мод. Если после удаления модификации, игра ведет себя так же некорректно, то нужно удалить всю инсталляцию и заново скачать с официального сайта установщик WoT и установить игру.

Настройки графики и разрешения экрана

Год 2019-й — впервые столкнулся с этим дерьмом. Ставил вручную старый лаунчер. Потом, брешь заделали и пришлось ставить конченый ВГЦ (WGC) — поставил. Снова начались вылеты, притом — рандомные. Порой, за один бой два и даже три раза.
Конченая картошка никак не реагировала и это помимо прочих писем касающихся тухлого ВБР и самого геймплея.
Заблокировал, удалил из телеметрию — бинго! Нет проблем.
Год 2022-й.
Неделю назад начались такие же проблемы. Вылеты от одного до трёх раз в течение одного боя. ОК. Удалил телеметрию любопытной картошки, заблокировал error monitor отдельными правилами (папка х86 и х64) — прошло. Картошка уже от жадности отупела и не понимает что творит.
Монитор расположен в папке с игрой. Каталоги «х86» и «х64».

тоже самое, при входе в ангар вылетает игра. Другие игры работают. Ставил и старые и новые дрова, винду сносил, танки сносил.

Привет из 22 года, у нас всё так же. Карта rtx3080, 32 оперативы, чистая винда, киберпунк летает, харайзон летает, реддед тоже, но после нг как раз когда дали прем- игра стабильно вылетает и пишет что виновата видеокарта. Дрова стоят актуальные. До НГ всё было ок, сейчас жопа какая то.

Сегодня тоже вылетели танки с проблемой драйвера. Тоже в других играх нормально, но в батле 4 и танках что-то с драйверами

Такая же беда вылетает с зависает игра. Или в начале боя или в процессе загрузки игры. Мать Гигабайт А320, Вин 10 64бит, GTX1650, R5 3500X, SSD 256, 8GB, 500W. Началась проблема после замены процессора А8-9600 на текущий R5 3500X. До замены было всё хорошо. В диспетчере задач при вылете GPU 100%, а CPU 60% нагрузки. Температура не больше 50°.

Не всегда самые новые драйвера — это хорошо. Иногда нужно найти старые драйвера именно под свою видеокарту.

Кстати только хотел посоветовать. Тоже была ситуация, когда помогла установка именно старого драйвера. Потому что все эти рекомендации «обновите драйвера» не всегда работают.

I have no idea what to do.

Have you checked out your event viewer? Assuming you are running windows. Assuming your computer is updated with the windows latest fixes, and assuming your video drivers are up to date? I had a similar problem, and it was software.

This is a vague error, and you need to check a few things:

— WG Support will have you run the diagnostics WG CHECK. I would run that to see if it sees an issue.

What is your video card? Type of computer? Some sound software like ROG will impact the WoT game.

What I have also done in the past is uninstall WoT and download the complete file again. This, too, has cleared up the game, and if it doesn’t, then you know the issues is within your computer.

Как исправить Critical Error Occurred в World of Warships?

Появляется она, как правило, в момент нажатия на кнопку “Играть”, хотя не исключены случаи ее появления прямо во время игры.

В данной статье мы приведем несколько рабочих решений, которые помогут исправить эту проблему.

Некорректный файл preferences.xml

Первое, с чего стоит начать решать ситуацию с появляющейся ошибкой Critical Error Occurred это удаление файла preferences.xml из папки с игрой.

Дело в том, что этот файл содержит в себе некоторые параметры, влияющие на работу Critical Error Occurred. Удалив его и запустив игру, Вы сбросите все параметры этого файла на заводские.

Отключение масштабирования изображения

Если действия, описанные выше, не дали результата, то далее попробуйте деактивировать масштабирование изображения (оптимизацию во весь экран) в свойствах исполняемого файла WorldofWarships.

Для этого переходим в папку с игрой и находим в ней файл WorldofWarships.exe. Это тот файл на который ссылается ярлык на рабочем столе для запуска игры.

Жмем по нему правой кнопкой мыши и выбираем “Свойства”.

Далее переходим на вкладку “Совместимость” и находим пункт “Отключить оптимизацию во весь экран” или “Отключить оптимизацию полноэкранного режима” или “Отключить масштабирование изображения при высоком разрешении экрана”. В зависимости от версии Windows этот пункт может иметь разные названия.

Применяем и пробуем запускать.

Обновление драйвера видеокарты

Если ничего выше не помогло, то однозначно стоит попробовать обновить драйвера для своей видеокарты. Несмотря на то, что данный совет достаточно банален и распространен не стоит им пренебрегать. Очень много случаев, когда именно обновленные драйвера видеокарты помогали избавиться от ошибки Critical Error Occurred не только в игре World of Warships, но и в других популярных играх.

World Of Tanks Causes PC Crash

After upgrading my PC I am now having issues with world of tanks. I have freshly re-installed windows 10 after the upgrades to ensure there were no drivers issues. Essentially I think it is something to do with WOT and my geforce GTX 1080 or my motherboard drivers. I say this because I can run battlefield 3 or 4 and also played the battlefield one beta with no crashes on ultra settings.

After many conversations (which I can post the dialogue from) back and forth with wargaming support I found that I can run WOT on minimal or low settings with no problems, but when I go to higher settings I usually get about 1 round in before my whole computer crashes and reboots itself. I actually thought it was somewhat comical that support eventually just told me to come to the forums. Any help is appreciated but believe me when I say it is not a power supply or temperatures issue I have been down that road, and battlefield which is way more CPU and GPU intensive runs great. Specs of my PC listed below.

Hey mate. best thing to do is to check the event log and try to figure out what is causing the error.

If win 10 you can either search for eventvwr.msc

or open the event viewer in control panel.

Look for the last event before the crash.

Report back with the event log and well try to figure out whats causing it.

I assume youre not getting a blue screen of death? as that will have the error code. if not use the event viewer.

Mine is crashing a whole boatload of times recently, these are what I’ve discovered in the Event Viewer (applications), one is for d3d and the other is the audio software for my machine. I’m guessing all of the crashes are audio related, as that audio software caused a lot of problems with the Windows 10 anniversary update as well:

Appreciate the responses. I have ran event viewer and every time it crashes (in windows logs > system) I never see anything besides it says your computer was shut down improperly. Am I looking in the wrong spot for events?

Also I have monitored temperatures and load on the GPU/CPU while running world of tanks and those temps and loads don’t even touch when I am running battlefield. I have also ran furmark and prime95 at the same time to max out temps and loads on the GPU/CPU and don’t see any issues when running for a limited time (10-15 minutes longer than 1 round of WOT). It is not temperature or power related I know this for sure. It is something specific to WOT and a driver/software issue is what I have to believe. I think it is more of a driver issue as I when I installed these new components I originally just installed new drivers onto the machine without re-installing the game. I immediately noticed the crashing issues, so I went to the extreme in the opposite end and formatted the hard drive then installed a fresh copy of windows 10 pro. Still can’t seem to pin point the issue at hand.

Yesterday, I read a post on this forum about high definition audio on the GPU and checking what PCI device bus and function it was on and if the high def audio was on the same bus as the GPU to disable it. I tried this and it still did not help. Lastly it is physically causing the machine to shutdown. I get no blue screen of death, no warning the machine shuts down. Since I have my BIOS set to auto boot if power is detected essentially the machine just reboots but for the purpose of this troubleshooting it is causing the machine to shutdown.

I am also Experiencing this problem, since past week.And i was searching everywhere and seems to have luckily found that i am not the only one in this problem.

My problem Started with a recent small patch of WoT and Nvidia Driver Update.I could play 1-2 games then the game started crashing my PC.So i tried many solutions reverting back GPU drivers,reinstalling Wot from scratch,cleaning temporary files.But nothing seems to have worked so far. And yes it is not overheating issue or PSU issue since i can play GTA 5 on my PC just fine for hours without any crash.Seems like something to do with Softwares and Wot Patch.

For the time being so you do not lose your premium account. Try running on minimum or low settings, yes the game will look like crap but I can at least play it, until a solution is found. I am working hard at finding a solution check back here as I will update this if I find a solution.

Look at the «administrative events». should be one of the first.

This may be of some help:

Under administrative events nothing shows again besides the computer was shutdown improperly. It shows nothing right before the time of the shutdown.

This is a very annoying problem, I can’t seem to trace it to anything besides a driver but I can not pin point what driver. Any other suggestions?

thats really odd mate. that nothing appears in the error log at those times?.

If you can run WOT on lowest settings makes me think that you are having some kind of conflict with graphics settings in WOT and those of graphics card.

Don’t have a 1080 to check but have you enabled any of the extra features of the card, and fancy AA or AF? Sounds like there is some conflict in the max settings of WOT and your card. i know some folks have had issues with TSSAA-HQ..though i think that was an SLI issue.

Don’t suppose you want to try enabling max settings in WOT and then tweaking some of those settings 1 by 1? Change AA methods/dynamic scaling. etc.

Painful i know..but the fact you can on the lowest settings with no issues..makes me suspect the answer is some conflict when enabling max settings.

You’re not running 4k rez or something like that?

Sorry mate..feel your pain. as thats a smoking system and should really eat WOT alive with that kinda horse power.

I appreciate the response. I also have my old video card laying around that should be able to at least perform decent at WOT on high settings. I may try installing it to just ensure that it is a video card issue. Although I am pretty sure myself it is a driver issue with the new video card. I could also try what you are saying, I wouldn’t even have to go to high settings though because when I go to medium settings it will crash as well (it just normally takes 2 or 3 rounds). I guess I could compare the difference between medium and low settings to see what gets enabled and turn them on one at a time. It is very frustrating because I can run battlefield with maxed settings and it looks awesome and I have to play vanilla with WOT, it is almost a joke. If I posted my responses with wargaming support you would actually laugh more than likely. I can post them but it is a very lengthy read, but if anyone wants to see the list of things I have already tried I will post it.

If I get some spare time in the next few days I will try enabling settings from medium 1 at a time to try and find the root cause, which specific setting is causing the issue. I will update when I get this done but it may be a few days.

I think you’re on the right track though. time to start getting medieval on this. as im kinda at a loss of what to do..

Really frustrating though.

My one last thought..and its a total shot in dark..because if this is the issue..it would be more consistent across all games..but did you disable the onboard vid? Should probably auto-sense that there is a vid card anyway, perhaps WOT is trying to use that one instead of the 1080 powerhouse. I doubt that this is it. but thats about the only thing i can think of, can disable it in the bios.

Actually I have not tried disabling the on board video of the motherboard. That is something I can definitely do quickly which could help. Also, I meant to mention in the last post that I am running at 1080P just because I have not upgraded my monitors and that is all they are capable of. Here is the long story from wargaming for you pleasure to read.

I just installed a new motherboard, ram, processor and video card in my machine. I am very technical savy, I have verified temperatures of the different components. Ran prime95 and furmark to test each one individually, also ran these programs simultaneously. Since installing these new components I have re-installed windows 10 to try and ensure it was not a driver issue. Re-installed world of tanks. Even ran those two tests (prime95 and furmark) together to ensure it was not power supply related. I can play battlefield 3 with maxed out settings and this never happens. This did not start until after I installed these new components and I tried just installing drivers before re-installing windows and the WOT game. I know it seems hardware related but I have tried other games and have not had this problem. Sometimes I can play 1 round before a crash other times 2 or 3 rounds. There is no ryhme or reason to it. I also opened a thread on Toms Hardware that has descriptions of the problem more in depth with my exact computer parts. It is at this link.

That’s an impressive setup you got there. How’s the Nvidia 1080? I’m still stuck on my old Nvidia 780 and holding off until I upgrade my desktop.

Anyway, I’ve reviewed the rest of the log file and everything seems in order.

We’ve received a few reports about the Windows 10 Anniversary Update causing issues with the game. It’s unconfirmed, but we’re looking into it.

I have been enjoying this setup since I installed it. I mean battlefield runs perfect (I keep forgetting to enable my FPS to see what I am running) and in the short times I can play WOT is awesome maxed settings at 120 fps.

Per this conversation I have googled and it does not seem that I have the anniversary update. I have opened a run and typed «winver» I have also went into my update history and put these items side by side and attached the screen shot. If everything I have read is correct I am running build 1511 and build 1607 is the anniversary update. I hope we are onto something here as I did not play WOT for several days before I upgraded my machine (installed new components/re-installed windows etc) but this problem has been persisting since the 17th or 18th of August.

I look forward to hearing from you all and appreciate the help. Anything I can do to help troubleshoot and possibly save other people time would be great.

I ran both scan disk and windows secure file checker. Scan disk found nothing. Windows secure file checker did find something and supposedly fixed it. This still had no change of the problem at hand. Started the first round and didn’t make it through it, the machine rebooted.

As expected, there shouldn’t be anything that’s causing this. You said you tried a Furmark test already, but I’m curious if it’s an issue with the PSU. Well, hold that thought for now.

Try these dependencies. Since your computer is pretty much new, you can just skip the ones you already have.

I downloaded every link that you provided. Went into the control panel and uninstalled everything I had that you listed. Re-installed all of the microsoft options, re-installed flash, java and directx 9.0 per the provided links. Still I have the same issue.

I would agree with you on the PSU thing but I have already ruled it out in multiple ways. Hence I ran Prime95 and Furmark together at the same time maxing out my GPU and processor at the same time. This IS way more of a load on my system than anything WOT would do to it. I ran this test for approximately 5 to 10 minutes (which WOT would have crashed in that time) while I watched the temperatures on my GPU and processor max out between 60 and 65 degrees Celsius using open hardware monitor free open source monitoring software. I also ran battlefield 4 on Sunday the 21st of the month for several hours (at least 3) with no problems it is also a way more taxing game on the processor and graphics card than WOT when it is running at maximum settings.

Also if you check these links the minimum power supply requirements for the graphics card on both my old radeon 5870 and the new gtx1080 is a 500W minimum.

I have a corsair Gold rated 750W power supply that yes I have had for about 5 years or so but it is warrantied for 5 years. I highly doubt that is the problem. I also did a power supply calculator on cooler masters website and even if I was overclocking everything (which nothing is overclocked) and the graphics card was running at speeds it is not capable of and I had a few extra case fans it would still not pull over 650 watts which leaves 100 watts of overhead. My 750 watt PSU well exceeds the 10% overhead requirement. Although a more likely calculation of the components as is not overclocked would be around 550 to 600 watts maximum.

This most definitely seems to be an issue with either a driver on my new motherboard, or graphics card and windows 10. If I had to guess I would say it is something with the graphics card driver as directX makes direct hardware calls I know, but I am not sure to what specific devices other than the graphics card. Options wise, I can re-install windows 7 which I have not been running for at least 5 months (long before I upgraded my machine) or I can re-install my old ATI radeon 5780 graphics card as I still have it laying around. I am open to trying anything suggested other than purchasing a new PSU. That is my absolute last resort but I think I have pretty overwhelming information to back up my stance on that subject.

Those Missions show up for every tank in every battle and that’s just confusing. I like to see what missions are going on for that tank for that battle. So I never activate Tournament Missions to keep my in-game clutter down. Plus, I only play in 1v1s and you can’t complete those missions in 1v1s easily.

I also don’t enter the Heavy Tank codes because those missions are just blind luck or too much effort for too little reward. They, like the TD missions, should be based off of damage not blocked damage (especially since HE & HEAT blocks don’t count to the total).

Possible Solution to WoT Nvidia driver crash

The problem:

I have had the problem where my nvidia driver would crash and I would have to kill the WoT process and relaunch the game to get back into the match.

There would be a notification on the desktop saying something like «Nvidia driver stopped working and recovered successfully».

The following solution worked for me and I am now an «unfrustrated» happy tanker.

After searching a lot online about a possible fix, I stumbled upon this Nvidia official forum thread:

Read Jason20910’s post about Nvidia driver having problem with vert sync.

The solution:

Following Jason’s instructions, I disabled vertical synchronization on my graphics card for WoT and also disabled vertical synchronization inside the game.

Since vertical synchronization limits the fps and controls the load on the GPU, disabling it may put undue stress on the GPU. So as Jason suggested, I installed Nvidia Inspector to limit the FPS on WoT.

Summary of the solution with screenshots:

1. Disable vert sync for WoT in Nvidia control Panel

2. Disable vert sync inside WoT settings.

3. Use Nvidia Inspector to limit the frames. I have set mine to 60FPS, however you may need to do some further research to find out what is best for your computer. Follow http://pcgamesbeat.b. ps-limiter.html. This page provides detailed instructions with screenshots.

Optional:

4. If you have two graphics processors [like my laptop has integrated intel hd graphics and nvidia gpu], it may be a good thing to force WoT to use the main Nvidia GPU.

Do this by selecting the preferred graphics processor for WoT in Nvidia control panel. Refer to the above screenshot showing Nvidia control panel.

UPDATE:

Along with the above, I also set Threaded Optimization in Nvidia control panel to «On» for WoT. Now the game runs without any crashes. Hope this works for others too.

World of Tanks has stopped working

This started happening twice today at the loading screen halfway through. Didnt mattered the tanks i was on.

Then i close the error screen and login back and again when loading it crashes. I have to wait for the round to end so i can play again.

Everything was fine until today.

Guess i will try that if this problem persists.

Happened again on Swamp. Error message

Try this out first I guess, make sure DEP is on for only windows stuff. Press the Windows logo key http://res2.windows. fb517937_92.png + Pause/break, then go to ‘Advanced System settings.’ Click on the ‘Advanced’ tab, then under ‘Performance’ click ‘Settings.’ Click on ‘Data Execution Prevention’ tab then make sure the top radial button is marked and click okay. If it was already set like that try the next suggestion.

This problem has persisted after I did everything in this thread, any more tips?

To be clear, the main problem is that any time I try to start a game, I begin to load in, see what seems to be a scoreboard with a loading bar underneath it, see the loading bar to about 1/3 of the way, then the game screen goes white and I get that beautiful windows message that says «World of Tanks has stopped working» With your usual taskmanager options of «wait until program responds» or «cancel».

I’m not aware of any other names for the pause key, if you have a compact keyboard it might be Ctrl + Fn + F11. You can also right-click on my computer and go to properties or navigate to the following directory in Windows Explorer:

Sounds like the game was interrupted while it was loading the RAM with data. Most likely by itself, Windows, or a third-party application. Could be a hardware problem too, but don’t worry about that for now. More information would be helpful:

Check the reliability monitor or event viewer for any errors from World of Tanks, and post the data here. It will look something like what CRommels posted above.

Next go to this website and look for the link to download Security Check by screen317. Run it and follow the instructions, when it’s finished notepad will open. Copy all the text and post it here. All it does is check for security programs, the rootdrive(C:\) for fragmentation, and displays the data in a text file.

Nothing to suggest right now aside from checking for mods. Maybe try closing unnecessary processes in task manager, make sure you have latest graphics driver installed, as well as the correct Directx and VC++ Redists from Microsoft. Install any Windows updates.

I tried to get 8.0 in patch but was unable to get past toe WOT launcher, when i hit play it would flash a black screen as if WOT was starting, then turn white, and close, telling me WOT has stopped working and windows is looking for a solution. I tried to update to 8.0 this afternoon and the same thing happened.

I tried uninstalling and re installing and am still having the same issue.

Ill try the page setup.

Try launching worldoftanks.exe directly, not the launcher or short-cut, and see if Windows gives you an error message.

Also look in the reliability monitor for the log WER generated. Open the control panel and find Action Center or look on your task-bar for the icon. After you open the Action Center, look for the Maintenance tab and click the to expand the field, then click on view reliability history. Find the latest report for WoT, open it, and copy/paste the details here.

Эта ошибка чаще всего возникает при подключении к игре через мобильный интернет, и звучит как «Ошибка получения данных аккаунта Google».

После того, как вы смогли успешно войти в свой аккаунт, перейдите в настройки и отвяжите ваш Google аккаунт от аккаунта Wargaming.net ID, а затем снова привяжите его. После таких манипуляций, как правило, ошибка пропадает, и вы снова сможете логиниться в игру при помощи аккаунта Google.

В качестве временного решения проблемы можно попробовать установить общедоступные адреса DNS от Google.

Для этого в правом нижнем углу экрана найдите значок подключения к сети (Он в форме монитора), нажмите по нему ПКМ и выберите «Открыть параметры сети и Интернет» и перейдите во вкладку «Центр управления сетями и общим доступом».

После чего найдите свое активное подключение, нажав по нему ЛКМ и откройте «Свойства».

Во вкладке «Сеть» найдите компонент «IP версии 4» и нажмите на кнопку «Свойства».

Если в строках с адресами DNS вы видите проставленные цифры, то лучше запишите их, на случай, если вдруг что-то пойдет не так, чтобы можно было быстро всё восстановить.

Поставьте галочку напротив «Использовать следующие адреса DNS-серверов» и впишите следующие цифры, как на скриншоте ниже:

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

После чего нажмите кнопку ОК и переподключитесь к сети перезагрузив Wi-Fi, или отключив и снова вставив LAN-провод в ПК.

Если проблема возникла на устройстве под управлением Android:

Откройте на своем устройстве настройки Wi-Fi, выберите активное соединение и перейдите к его настройкам.

В свойствах сети перейдите к параметру настроек IP и переделайте его на Статический. После этого в полях DNS адресов введите 8.8.8.8 и 8.8.4.4

После чего переподключитесь к вашему Wi-Fi и снова попробуйте зайти в игру.

Для начала попробуйте запустить скачанный реплей и запустить его через стандартный проводник (тем самым игнорируя предложение устройства запустить его через Blitz).

Если этот способ не помог, и игра всё равно выдает ошибку, то попробуйте установить альтернативный проводник для своего устройства. Например, можем порекомендовать вам «Файловый менеджер» (его легко найти через Google Play).

How to do a «Full» WoT clean re-install

Just wanted to throw this up as a guide for those who have issues. After having many issues & having to contact Tech Support for it, I just decided to take the info they gave me, & make a guide from it. So, before you contact Support, I recommend trying this. It has worked great for me, & others who have used this guide, so hopefully it works the same for you.

— For those who have flaky game issues, getting kicked during battle, after battle, kicked to desktop, etc., here’s the instructions I got directly from WG Tech Support a few months ago for doing a 100% clean WoT re-install. It is recommended every few months, maybe once a year, do a complete fresh install of your game client, because with all the updates, small file fragments get left behind, & can eventually pile up, & start messing with your game function.

Please follow these steps to ensure that you do a full clean re-install:

Next click on your start menu and in the search/run box type «%appdata%» (without the quotes) and press enter, then in the folder that comes up, you should delete the wargaming.net folder, & any other folders pertaining to wargaming. Please also delete your previously downloaded WoT installers.

Now again, click on your start menu and in the search/run box type «%temp%» (without the quotes) and press enter.
Then delete all of the files in your User’s temp folder that comes up (some of the files will be in use by Windows and will not let you delete them(hit the skip/ignore option that pops up), just delete the ones you can) If you have several dozen files that come up in your temp folder, an easy way to highlight them all, is to simply hold down the shift key, click the first one, then scroll down & click the last one, all while holding shift key, then simply right click & delete.

Now download a fresh copy of our latest full client from the following link: WoT Client Download

Last, re-install a fresh copy of your mods you choose to use, & you should be good to go.

I had to re-install also and now getting the following message:

Just downloaded and installed the game an hour ago and also can’t get past that same message:

So I’ve put in my internet browser «http://cds.n6y5c6k9. _launcher.patch» and I downloaded manually the file, put it in Worl_of_Tanks\updates directory, restarted the launcher and it seem to work well for now.

Ошибки во время запуска игры

Первое на что нужно обратить внимание – системные требования. Хотя WoT довольно лояльно относится к старым компьютерам, железо все же должно соответствовать таким параметрам:

Возможно, не установлена необходимая версия DirectX. Ее можно скачать с сайта Microsoft. Нужен DirectX 9.0c, не ниже.

Game starting on the wrong monitor

I have a dual monitor setup. My primary monitor is an HP ZR2440w, and the secondary is an Acer P241w. Ever since I installed the Windows 10 creator’s update, World of Tanks will only start on the Acer monitor. I can switch it to windowed mode and move it over to the HP, but if I then set it back to fullscreen or Windowed borderless, it will jump back to the Acer monitor. It worked just fine before the 9.18 update. If I unplug the Acer monitor, the game will not start at all, no matter what mode I have it in (windowed, windowed borderless, or fullscreen). When I check in the settings, it only shows the Acer monitor, the HP isn’t even available as an option.

This is happening in my other Wargaming titles, World of Warships, and World of Tanks Blitz. This does not happen in any other games I’ve tested (Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto V, Skyrim, Citites Skylines, Witcher 3, and others), so even if it is a Win10 issue, it seems to be specific to Wargaming titles. Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: You use discord? I read it could be an overlay issue. Or possibly roll back the latest windows driver. Or running the game in borderless window mode.

Try your AppData folder. Its hidden or locked. You need to change your windows explorer settings to show hidden files/folders..

It will be something like this.
C:\Users\**YOUR WINDOWS NAME**\AppData\Roaming\Wargaming.net\GameCenter

Clean out that folder and reinstall the game center.

That’s the same driver for my 660 Ti cards I’m running and I’m not having any issues with the game center.

There was a thread with a similar issue a few days ago:

He said he fixed it by deleting the GC via the Control Panel and re-downloading it.

There is also the hidden folder called ProgramData in your C drives root.
In that folder is a Wargaming.net folder.
Id look in there and see of it was cleaned out when you uninstalled.

Try restoring your computer to a restore point from 2 or more days ago. It’s possible that Windows, your video card, or something else recently ran an update that could be interfering with your GC.

That’s the thing. I started GC, A small dialog box popped up that looked like it was from Wargaming saying «applying update» and closed. So I opened it back up and boom, black screen ever since.

First off, this is probably what caused your problem. So, in the future, whenever you get that little pop-up, just leave it be and let it do it’s thing. Trying to re-start the GC while it’s trying to update probably corrupted one or more of it’s files.

So, create a new folder (call it whatever you want, but my suggestion would be «GamesWoT» so it’s close to your original folder) on your «C-drive»(or whatever drive your OS is on). Download and install the game to THAT new folder, **but DO NOT run/start the game or GC from the install process. Once installed, restart your computer.

After the computer has restarted, navigate to the «GamesWot\World_of_Tanks» folder (again, the first folder will be whatever you called). Once there, double-click the «WoTLauncher.exe» file (the «.exe» might not be displayed depending on file-view settings). That should start the newly downloaded GC.

Make sure you give it «firewall» access.

And, if asked for the location of the WoT game, point it towards the folder you just started the GC from.

Hope that works for you. If it doesn’t, contact Customer Support and let them know that you tried starting the GC while it was still in the process of updating. They may have a quick and easy fix for that.

Install to drive other than C:

Hi there, I am trying to install this game and my primary hard drive is G: instead of C:. When the patcher goes to update the game it installs them to a location on C. is there any way to install to the G: drive?

If your game is installed allready on «C» then the patcher will automatically patch that install

TBH i have the NA client on «C» the EU client on «G» and the Common Test client i put where ever i want it usually «G» aswell

You simply point the original install of the game at whatever drive you want it on and it does the rest or you could even just cut the whole WOT game folder from your «C» drive and move it then redo your shortcuts

When you run G:\Games\World_of_Tanks\WoTLauncher.exe, it puts the updates to C:\Games\World_of_Tanks? Do you have more than one copy of the game installed? Are you running the launcher from a short-cut?

Never seen this problem before. If you run the launcher from the G drive it should update from that directory, it doesn’t know where else to look as the game doesn’t create any registry info for the install dir.

Video Card ERROR! HELP PLESE

It just started last week,

I don’t know what’s causing it. i’ve read many forums and did pretty much eveything.

i’ve tried with and without any mods.

reinstalled wot game, cleared cache.

reinstalled graphic card, did full clean install. using DDU then installed latest graphic card driver. and still getting this problems.. tried putting setting in game to different low and high. and still having game freeze/crash in middle of game.

it keeps giving me this error message:

Yes, try an earlier driver. If you are lucky that is the problem, if not the GPU might be on its way out.

I got this error a few nights ago on my rig that I haven’t played WoT on in a few months after getting a gaming laptop (and spoiled by the luxury of playing on the couch).

It was a Windows update that was causing the issue. Don’t know what or which, but whatever update came out in the last couple months finally installed and that message didn’t come up again.

I think there are enough people with this problem that you can post it on both.

That could very well mean that your powersupply is giving out; you’d see this error once the PS doesn’t supply adequate current to the videocard/system. Try stressing the system using cinebench or some such, and see if you can rule out the powersupply.

Assuming you have power hooked up to your card correctly.

I have seen this before with another client. I has to shut down, remove card, boot up using the on-board video, and then do a clean uninstall. Reboot again, then open a command prompt in Admin mode and run chkdsk /f (this will check your system files for corruption and fix them automatically). Note: this will require a reboot to run the check disk. When it comes back up, launch another admin command prompt and run sfc /scannow. It will take a bit to run. Once finished, shut down and install the card. Boot up with the cable plugged into the video card. Download a 2 month old video driver and install. Reboot one more time when finished and then try WOT.

Why does Wot take up so much internet when updating? How can I monitor it?

Because like everything else they do, Wargaming developers are amateurs and they do not code it correctly. Therefore, when you update, it takes up all your internet bandwidth, instead of allowing you to surf the web while you wait.

Sadly, as stated above, WG doesnt have the best optimization crew. They started this game not expecting it to be NEAR this popular, and are struggling because they have started out with low-budget decisions, and now have to mend those mistakes. Its tough, but things like the rumored WoT 2.0 (New engine, pretty much revamped, likely keep all of your current tanks, etc.) are planned. Its not confirmed, but I feel WG is trying their best to work with what they are given.

So, turning off the torrents connections should help a ton? What are the point of torrent connections anyway?

They share the load of distributing the update between all client PCs. So in effect your PC also sends the update to everyone who requests it. For residential connection the upload speed is usually the most limiting factor, hence the slowdown.

Short version: they use your connection to distribute their client 🙂

I uninstalled XVM and now the game won’t load.

For a while now i have been playing with Aslain’s XVM mod pack. But after some time i got bored and realized I didn’t wan’t to play with it anymore. So i uninstalled it using the uninstall thing. After it said it removed all mods and content having to do with the mod, i started the game. I clicked play but it would never load. I went back to check if everything was fine and when I went into my res_mods folder, there was no 0.9.6 folder in there. I created a new folder and named it 0.9.6 and tried it again. Same thing happens, the game won’t load. Please help?

We generally see these types of inquiries reported and especially during patch updates to the game. If you are still experiencing issues with the game client after removing the mod files, we highly recommend that you please perform a clean reinstall of the game client.

These instructions include a cleaning tool to delete any of our old files in your computer’s registry. CCleaner is a free tool that we recommend (there is a paid version, however that is not necessary for the process that we would like you to perform) to remove any old corrupted files from your registry.

Please remember to move any replays and screenshots you want to save from the World of Tanks directory before deleting it.

1. Right click the game installer and select «Run as administrator».

Wargaming Game Center won’t launch games

Installed this thing and now games won’t launch.

Everything days running latest blah, but I click Play, it goes to launch then nothing.

How can I install this and go back to wot launcher?

When I first installed it to try WoWP, I had to reinstall WoWP for it to launch. Then this issue with wot happened.

I was able to get it work occasionally, after a reboot, but that isn’t even working now. On all 3 games.

Just reinstalled wot, I’ll see if that helps.

Trying to open the game from the exe did not work.

Uninstall and reinstall seems to have worked.

The experience of mine and my friend’s regarding the Game Center is bad. Last year I tried getting him into WoWs, and he said it was giving him glitches and not launching. I assumed it was some kind of user error on his part.

Anyway, my original experience with WoWs was good (yes I realize this is a WoT forum, but this is connected to WG’s Game Center). I had no probs downloading, installing, and launching just through the basic game application. I didn’t have this Game Center hub app.

That was back in 2015 when WoWs debuted. No issues with just the game app. Then tried getting my friend into it, and no dice. The Game Center was buggy. That was a year ago. Today I’ve tried installing the game on a new computer, which means having to acquire the game again.

Apparently when the game launched in 2015, the main menu to get the game didn’t insert this Game Center business into the equation, and it was evidently better for not doing so. But now the default links on the Warships webpage guide you through the Game Center hub app, and it’s simply not working. It says the game is installed, but the «Play» button is gray. In another tab it shows that it hasn’t even downloaded.

It also says «resuming installation.» It’s been a day and no progress made.

Unable to download updates, gaming center and all games

I have been fighting with this issue for days. Originally i started playing WoT and everything was fine. Then i installed WoWp and WoWs and now nothing works. They all give me the same error (including the Gaming Center) when i run them.

This message appears now anytime i even try to play WoT, because it goes through the gaming center. Opening the game outside the gaming center runs it through the gaming center anyways. And of course the gaming center is trying to update itself.

I have been through every solution imaginable, and in the end, support advised me to contact my isp. I was hoping someone could give me a little more information on a screenshot of my PingPlotter results, as support was pretty vague. All they said is that there is an issue at hop 8. It seems too coincidental that this happened after i started trying to install other games, as i have had no other problems with my internet connection.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hop 8 is high, but should still allow for a DL. Hop 9 and 10 are probs DNS servers, and will not respond to these requests. This is normal. Judging by the naming of the nodes, this is a cell network (Or satellite). Can you do wired?

Also, this is NOT the IP of WOT.

Game Center is just fine. I have been using it ever since it was first advertised in WoWP. I never had one issue with it. And I have all 4 games installed.

I can’t do wired, i’m using a laptop on wifi, the router is 6 feet away. That is the IP address support told me to input into PingPlotter.

Laptops can move. Sounds like a bad route. What i can suggest is to FACTORY RESET your modem (which will reset EVERYTHING), then leave it offline for 1 hour. This should reset the route (unless you live in Canada, if so, dont do this, as it will do nothing). Once the hour is over, setup your modem again.

Just a few things you can try:

Keep in mind, that even though you’ve previously given access permissions to various applications, Microsoft and Windows updates will sometimes reset them.

Yep, I’m getting this non-stop when trying to log in and load the garage, for the last four hours.

It takes a couple of minutes to get to the garage and then boots me back to log in with ‘connection to the server has been interrupted’.

I was playing no issues 12 hours earlier.

Just reinstall (and redownload), same thing connection interrupted after 30sec in the garage. RIP WOT it was a good run.

I have had it several times. It is the game, not my ISP.

After the 1.0 update it took me two days to work out a way to set things so I could play. My PC is not the latest but it isn’t the oldest either. I7, 16GB ram, GTX970. I had found a way to run with smooth graphics, things were going ok. Then there was a Micro Patch to fix some issue others were having. This is great news we all think but now I cannot play at all. I am now 4 hours in to working on the problem, even a complete uninstall (Yes including ALL the temp and cache files) and reinstall has not fixed it.

All my graphics drivers are up to date.

I go to sign in, it takes an eternity to almost load the garage where is freezes and then gives me the now familiar «Connection to the Server has been interrupted». The uninstall/reinstall changed nothing at all.

I note I am not the only one having this problem. On top of that another PC in the house used for gaming is also having the same problem and one other is not, it connects fine. I know it is not my internet connection because other online games I play are working fine. As I said I am easy four hours into trying to make World of Tanks go. I have no other option but to stop playing until War Gaming fix what they broke AGAIN!

I didn’t have any issues with the update until now. Made some adjustments to my PC for better performance beforehand (albeit it shouldn’t have had this big of an effect since it was just removing programs and editing some reg files)

When I try to log in I get the same issue; however when I do and move the camera around it stutters; regardless of graphics settings. In-fact I found that the lower your settings were; the worse it became in some occasions.

I also found that even if I got into a game luckily; I notice that my FPS is at 5 or something and when I adjusted my settings to a lower quality it gets worse.

One thing I do kinda want to note though incase some haven’t tested and looking at the previous post above; Check your GPU drivers and see if its the latest one. If it is; it might be the cause and you’ll have to roll it back to the previous version. As I quote the poster above:

7. Почему не работает «Лончер\Launcher» клиента игры? Вот Еще версии решений проблем от Wargaming

Также попасть в папку можно не изменяя настроек видимости. Введите в строку адреса проводника «%appdata%» (без кавычек) или же воспользуйтесь «TotalCommander».

Очистите папку «Updates» расположенную в корневом каталоге игры (пример: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\Updates). На момент обновления рекомендуем временно отключить антивирусное ПО.

Запустите «Лончер». В настройках «Лончер-а» впишите 6881 порт для входящих соединений и активируйте настройку «Разрешить использовать торрент», нажмите Ок. Перезапустите «Лончер», дождитесь автоматического обновления клиента. Включите антивирусное ПО. Попробуйте добавить папку игры в доверенную зону вашего антивируса.

Full game loading onto Ram.

After just starting up the computer, after 1 minute or 24 hours running «doesn’t matter» if I decide to run World of tanks, It will not do anything for 3-5 minutes. When the game finally starts I look at task manager and it seems to have loaded the entire game file onto the ram, 8.92Gs «including standard windows background program lol»

game plays normally no problems. Now if I close it out and start it back up again, the game will load fast as usual. «installed on 240g SSD» if I restart the computer, it will happen again.

I have re-installed the game, and have tried running as admin, with no mods on at all.

Sooooo, my only thought would be; is anyone else having this problem because of a recent patch, or maybe this is a registry error?

1. It only happens at system start-up

2 Windows 7 64 bit premium. Normal install from the wot website. installed to default location on C drive which is an OCZ 240g SSD. It is not a problem with the specific drive, because I had initially installed it on a separate SSD I use for only games. I could however throw it on my raptor. but ive had wot installed on my gaming ssd for a long time now with no problems until recently.

World of Tanks at best can address 4GB of RAM. It’s Windows loading all those files into memory. That is pretty standard Windows behavior, if RAM is sitting around free, it will load files that it thinks will come up next. Therefore, if thinks RAM is available, it may try to load entire WOT directory since it’s likely all those files will be requested. After the game closes, majority of RAM is marked as available. FYI, the memory statistic you want to keep an eye on is Hard Faults/sec in Resource monitor, if that skyrockets and stay there, it means Windows doesn’t have enough RAM and is constantly going to disk to retrieve information.

My guess is OCZ SSD may be experiencing failures, wouldn’t be the first time OCZ SSD have had issues, and causing WOT to load slowly, second time it loads fine because all/majority the files are in RAM and haven’t been cleared.

I’d move WOT to Raptor spindle drive and see if performance improves. SSDs rarely give performance boost in games since WIndows is generally smart enough to RAM load all files for a game anyways and once that has happened, SSD is idling. Not to mention, WOT is not what I’d call performance intensive game.

Can’t uninstall world of tanks

I played since beta and the uninstall file only removed itself and said «okay it’s uninstalled» apparently the devs forgot to update the uninstall file? I need to make sure I remove every trace to fix another bug/issue from wargaming and manual delete wont cut it. All I know of is the registry under Software-> wargaming.net and the install folder, IDK where the rest is/would be stored, I’m assuming there’s some stuff elsewhere. Same issue with Add/remove programs, just removed it from list saying it was already uninstalled.

Anyways I need help locating every trace of this junk so I can delete it properly.

I know where the install directory. Most games have some files like stuff that stores settings elsewhere and it’s important I get rid of those to fix the issue I am having.

Edit: found it, just realized I could find it using the Dossier website:

As you stated that you have no warning the next thing to check is to confirm that your video card hardware is DirectX compatible.

Click «Start,» and in the «Search programs and files» box enter «dxdiag.» Press «Enter.» The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open.

Click the «Display» tab. You will see your graphics card’s name and technical information under the «Device» heading.

Look under the «Notes» area. If you see «No problems found» or «Certified» listed, your graphics card is compatible with DirectX 9. If any errors stating the graphics card is not found or a conflict has occurred, your graphics card is not compatible with DirectX 9.

Click «Exit» to close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Critical Error Failed to download updates via HTTP HELP

I’ve been going at this for ages but it keeps giving me this error. I checked my ports and firewall to see if there’s an issue but it seems like its way ahead of my knowledge. Anyone have any ideas?

Game keeps crashing 6/27/21

Crashing regularly for me too. I’ll play 20 battles and it’s all fine, then I’ll play another and it crashes immediately. Restart the game and another immediate crash. Restart the PC and same.

Happened on Pilsen just now. Will pay attention to it to see if its map specific.

I know it’s an old thread but nVidia and ATI still uses the HD Audio Controller Function for their HDMI audio.

Game crashes when i try to load 90% of the time now. safe mode. no mods. deleted directories that are supposed to help with problems and no change to the end result. Game is unplayable without trying to log in 25 times before it manages to load the game at all. It keeps giving some quick flash of an error screen (which in itself wg needs to fix, that error message should come up and stay up so you can actually read it) The error screen says something about data with the server.

Also had crashes today, over and over again, but only on Pearl River.

EDIT: Scratch that. Now crashing on Siegfried Line too.

Couple things I just learned to try as well:

If you are having issues with Store not opening, or getting stuck/disconnected from server constantly trying to first start-up the game (and maybe even having issues getting hung exiting game). try this:

WOT uses Chrome in-game and appears corrupted cache causes some of these in-game problems. I have been dealing with issues described above FOR MONTHS and stumbled on another post about clearing Google Chrome cache and fixed it. I will note that I could see this issue on 1 account but not see it on others that I would access on the same computer. So it can get corrupted for just one account. Good luck.

I’m getting the following error when I log in:

In the garage the tank and the walls look like I should be wearing 3-D glasses. I tried playing a game and couldn’t tell the my team vs the other and I ended up TKing a teammate. I’ve been playing this game for 10 months and haven’t had a single issue. Using the same video card, Nvidia 560ti this whole time and haven’t recently changed anything. Just played a couple days ago and no issues.

I did upgrade to Windows 8.1, but no one else seems to have this problem. Any ideas?

Здесь нет никаких особых рекомендаций – обычная. Если после установки и перезагрузки компьютера ошибка не исчезла, идем дальше.

Способ №3. Visual C++

Бывают в данном случае и другие ситуации, когда установленная C++ попросту не подходит для вашей операционной системы. Ниже приведена таблица с вариантами, которые подходят для разных версий ОС.

Так вот, в зависимости от того, какая у вас ОС, вам следует скачать и инсталировать на свой компьютер C++2008, C++2010, C++2015 или новее.

Other than re-installing the game, you could always try to turn the game on directly by going to your WoT Directory, and then double clicking on the actual Game Icon (not the launcher). Customer Support could also help you if you send in your python.xml file. (Found in your WoT Directory)

Well, I had this issue before, could not play the main client or test client for a month until I reinstalled Java and made sure IE was updated, restarted my computer, opened the game and it worked. Scorpiany must be right though.

IE has nothing to do with it.

I think the WOT Install is corrupting my current DirectX drivers.

My position exactly. And no one has any real answers. Why are people so daft? Can someone suggest something that actually fixes the problem so I don’t have to wait all day to play again?

I am having a similar problem now as well, I just upgraded my PC, I have all the latest nVidia Drivers for the GTX980 Card, and DirectX 11. A completely new install of the Game. Launcher starts and then a white screen, then gone. WTH.

Well wth. I found the answer after searching multiple topics etc. I had to go to the MS site, download DirectX 9.0, and install it. WoT only like 9.0 at this stage. Go figure.

This has happened to me as well, when the Game Center auto-updated during launch, it then simply stopped working altogether. Hope they fix this by the time I am home from work.

All I can suggest is:

Hi. Hope you folks are having a great holiday season. I haven’t heard from you about my issues. Here it is again. You may just be on holiday, so no pressure but as soon as you can please respond. So, here’s my issue. when I click on the battle icon, I go into a battle but as soon as I try to shoot the image below comes on the screen. I’ve never seen this before and it’s frustrating.

The message that comes up is “You have no active missions for this vehicle”

“go to campaign tab in the Garage to select a mission”.

When I got to the campaign tab, I can’t find where to activate any mission. I’ve never had to do this before. I just play random battles. So I don’t what to do.

I’ve had several crashes both today and over the weekend where coming out battle results in the client hanging up and the «garage» area doesn’t appear. Once I had the back ground audio, but that was it. Does that fit with some of what others are experiencing?

I had to reboot via the good old power button.

UPDATE FAIL?

One of the things to be fixed was:

If this is the *issue* where I click on the WOT launcher and it starts to launch, then sends my three screens black then they flicker and come back with the WOT launcher minimized in my taskbar and my home screen on, and all my icons sent to a different screen, (which started happening after the LAST update) then the fix didn’t work. It is still happening.

I mean i know computers have changed since they first started but surely the update doesn’t have to marinate on my machine for a while and it will suddenly *work right* in 3 days. does it? I mean it’s still an all or nothing deal right? zeros and ones? on and off? Well the bits aren’t byting correctly still.

A help to everyone (and confirmed by Support) for common install error involving the app_type.xml file not being found:

OK did the reinstalls.

Still had problems but:

The launcher would not lauch with critical error can’t write to app_type.xml file

Easy enough, just copy a dummy file into the WOT directory

Next during client update (after downloading game) gets the critical error 0x2 can’t find specified file

So I manually delete the same app_type.xml file from the WOT directory

Whala, the update loaded the red PLAY button illuminates and its a go! It works. for now

Would like to know why this app_type.xml file is the hangup, maybe a create/killme file not loading?

You have been disconnected from the server

I have been trying since Saturday afternoon to login to my account, I’ve tried through Game Center AND my wargaming login, always get the message that says I have been disconnected from the server, this is so frustrating because I have good tanks and purchased premium time. I created another account and could login without any issues, when I look up my primary account I can see my name and clan but no stats/tanks, etc.

I have filled out multiple tickets and received one answer back asking me to keep trying to login but I’ve been trying for the past three days with no luck. Is this a bug? Have I been banned? Is this on my end or wargaming’s end? I cannot get any answers so I finally filled out another ticket asking them if I can transfer my tanks and premium time to the new account I created, haven’t heard back.

I’m definitely not starting over again, as it took me almost a year to get to where I was. I also spent some good money for premium, if they can’t get this fixed I’m not spending any more time/money on this game. Very disappointed.

I also cannot link my Game Center account with the new account because it says that my GC account is already linked with another account (my primary one).

Перевод ошибки позволяет заключить, что установщику не удается доставить установочные файлы по пути, который вы указали при инсталляции.

Эта ошибка в большинстве случаев появляется у пользователей, которые пользуются альтернативным загрузчиком игры (лаунчером). Первый совет по ее решению — установка официального загрузчика стабильно работающей версии. Обязательно для этого нужно удалить ваш альтернативный вариант.

Как пишет один из иностранных пользователей — он удалил все патчи в папке с обновлениями (в его случае связанные с датой 28-3-2019) и перезапустил лаунчер Варгейминг. После этого загрузка и установка пошла нормально.

Другие причины

Среди других причин могут быть:

— неправильные настройки антивируса. Антивирусное ПО может блокировать установку некоторых загружаемых файлов только потому, что их сигнатура вызывает сомнения. Решения: отключение антивируса, добавление папки Wargaming.net в список доверенных или удаление антивирусного ПО.

— настройки доступа. Диск C является системным и на некоторых операционных системах (Windows 10 чаще всего) на каждые инсталляционные действия могут потребоваться особые разрешения. Решения: установка игры на другой жесткий диск (D, E и так далее), отключение контроля учетных записей (UAC) в панели управления, отключение в Локальных Политиках безопасности пункта «включение режима одобрения администратором«.

— нестабильное сетевое соединение. Если вы пытаетесь скачать большие объемы информации при нестабильном интернете — ошибка Unable to handle application files в World Of Tanks и World of Warships тоже может возникать. Проверить — высокий ли пинг можно через командную строку. Решения: обзавестись более стабильным интернет-соединением, подождать. Второй вариант на случай, если проблема состоит в том, что нагрузка на сервера Варгейминг слишком высокая и поэтому у некоторых пользователей появляются ошибки о невозможности доставки файлов приложения. Попробуйте рано утром, когда игроков в онлайне мало.

my wot takes up 25GB hard drive space, normal?

The biggest chunk belongs to «res» folder, which takes 23.5GB space. I don’t know what I can do to shrink it.

Switch to the SD client?

Right click your WoT shortcut and select open file location.

Find the folder that says «Updates» and delete all of it’s contents. Find the folder called «replays» and delete all of the replays you don’t want.

Try to keep both of the above folders as empty as possible.

replays really are not that big of a file and don’t take up a ton of space so telling him to clear them is just futile. I’ve cleared nearly 1k replays before and it didn’t even break 1GB.

I tend to clear my replays when I get an ace tanker because I save those. And then was deleting them when I was in Open league this season before the team folded.

Most games now a days are huge. But like others said delete your old updates otherwise it’ll add up after a few patches and you’ll be pushing 80gb of usage lol

I remember buying a system that came with a 10MB hard drive. «You’ll never fill that up» is what I was told. Full about 3 months later.

I just installed this game for my son to play, no replays and it’s 42Gb for the SD Client. I’m plenty aware that you can go and delete «updates» however Devs should really look at this because almost every other game that has updates of this sizes deletes the files after install instead of just leaving them there. Besides, how is the «update» folder full right after a first time install? It doesn’t just install the latest version?

Does anyone know what the size is for the HD version? I have a very high end system and a 4K screen but I’m not sure if I want to give up anymore drive space just to get the HD settings for my son. My DCS with almost all of their modulus and extreme graphics and textures isn’t this large. LoL.

Downloads have been too large and now I’m facing SSD capacity issues. I only have a 128 GB SSD so now there isn’t enough room to complete the download. Given internet usage limits, 30 GB of download eats up monthly usage. isn’t there a better way, such as uninstalling and reinstalling a zip file?

Surely, loads of players would have the same issue with a limited SSD boot drive?

I just don’t want to give any other people in my house a reason to ban this game!

A technical problem like this one will probably require help from Support. Steps to go through for putting in a ticket to Support:

1. Go to the top right of this page, and click on the animated button labelled «Customer Service Center»

2. Make sure you’re logged in by checking if your name is at the top right of the page you’re now on. If not, click on «log in» at the top right.

3. Directly below your user name, it will say «My Tickets». Click on that.

4. The new page you will see has a big orange button with «+ New Ticket» on it. Click that.

5. You should be able to follow what to do next.

I get that because the game has crashed. I wasn’t using xvm and it was just a straight crash and have to load in again, and often several times. But recently I uploaded QB’s modpack and am using xvm. Now when it crashes I get that report screen. I just kill it and reload as usual, which is the biggest issue I have.

I’m assuming I’m getting the same as you.

I have this same issue with generating that report and I am not using any xvm modpak. It’s frustrating to crash 3-4 times before I even get into the garage and several times in game as well or even at the end of a game I crash. Any ideas on what to do to fix this issue. This is the error message I get every time it crashes: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_NA_2\Reports\19-C. so what do you do with this error message? Whatever it is I can’t locate anything in my files to send to wargaming and have them either try to fix it or show me how I can fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

This is the closest thing there is to an error:

The lines preceding that gem of information just contain ID numbers, paths, options, etc. Nothing that looks like a specific error to me.

This happened to me only once ever and it was due to a mod I was messing with.

I’ve played two games on test and it’s happened to me both times (the second time I left the battle after I died to see if it would happen again, and it did).

I have no mods installed on the test client.

I waited around to see if things would pop back to normal after the game ended, but nope. Only thing I could do was ALT-F4, at which point the game sends a crash report.

appreciate the support and yeah its not enough to drop 700 or more for a new laptop however this bat file offered by support helped out.

Если у пользователя возникла эта ошибка, то скорее всего, она связана с драйверами на компьютере. То есть, пользователь давно не обновлял драйвера и из-за этого возникает соответствующая ошибка. В большинстве случаев это происходит после переустановки операционной системы Windows. Если пользователь недавно переустанавливал систему, то нужно восстановить и драйвера, а сделать это можно двумя путями:

Обновление 1.5.1 WoT. Что было добавлено или изменено узнайте на сайте.

Какой из способов выбирать — решит сам игрок в World of Tanks. После проведения всех процедур можно перезапустить компьютер и попробовать запустить танки. Если это не поможет, то скорее всего, ошибка скрывается где-то внутри компьютера и решить ее сможет только сам разработчик.

Дело в том, что неизвестно конкретно почему возникает эта ошибка. Огромному количеству пользователей помогла переустановка драйверов, но далеко не каждому игроку. Множество игроков были вынуждены обращаться в центр поддержки World of Tanks, где им старались помочь. Если у пользователя именно такая ситуация, то нужно обратиться в центр технической поддержки. Need offline installer please

I play WOT quite often from a computer tethered to my cellular phone. Unfortunately, while I have plenty of data to play, I can’t download 7GB without paying through the nose.

So. please, please, please, please, please give us an offline installer for the latest 9.X version of the game, as you’ve done in the past.

But to get the game information, you would have to have it downloaded in some way

Ok, after not getting a particularly useful reply from a support ticket I found a work around.

1) Install the game on a computer that can use the on-line istaller.

2) copy the c:\Games\World_of_Tanks folder to a USB key (or external drive, whatever)

3) copy the folder to c:\Games onto the computer using the cellular data connection.

4) Run WotLauncher.exe from the World_of_Tanks folder

At this point it should bring up the usual game launcher, check for updates (and find none) and allow you to play. The first time I ran it there was some weirdness getting to the login screen (it appeared to crash, but came back up after a couple seconds).

Once I got the login screen it worked perfectly.

This computer DID have an older version of WOT installed (and later uninstalled). It is possible that there may be registry settings that were missing and that’s why I had trouble starting it the first time. Anyway, if it won’t start for you after this procedure, try doing this and then running the online installer. That might fix up the registry (if required) without downloading any more data (because you copied it already).

There are ways to get it. Chris Titus, on You Tube has figured out how to get it and is using it and you can check him out on YT. Also, you can become a Windows Insider, on that program and get you hands on it. It wont be very long before you will begin to see it on newer PC’s, from the big box stores, etc. Not much longer.

Go to the WoT website and download the game and do a clean install.

DO NOT install any mods at this time.

Run the game in the vanilla setup and see if you continue to have the CTD’s.

There is nothing wrong with the current version of WoT. It’s working fine.

My game crashes also and I receive warnings about inactivity, that I can be banned, how can I have those warnings remove since it is not something I have done intentionally.

This worked for me, XVM must have messed up the game files.

1- seems the Crash to Desktop happened with a two-key combo. Can’t make do it now. Will attempt to crash it again after next reboot. I think the issue is caused by a two combo on left hand (Cntr-. ) control—(some other key (perhaps S or shift) don’t know), or the Alt— and some 2ed key combo all with left-hand only. Unable to reproduce since restarting game only. System has not been restarted.

2- I will try some left-hand key combos and alt or cntrl and again with those keys and mouse keys after a system reboot.

Please comment if you have any more input.

Ok, that is what I am getting in 9.4 release (and 9.3 release before that) and 9.5 ct. I don’t think the game is «minimized» in that you can’t restore it by clicking on it.

I’d say the «game crashes the video driver». Or «the game crashes DirectX».

I’m using an Nvidea 7900GS PCI card. Windows 7 and XP both. I am using the final NVidea Driver for that card, which is a few years old.

Some times I get two crashes per battle. Other times I can go a couple of hours without a crash. They occur in battle and in the garage both. If I leave the game in the garage and go afk from the computer for an hour it will usually be «video driver crashed» when I get back. That means key strokes individually or in combination are not causing it.

I have to kill the process with the Task manager and restart. Even hurrying (and a LOT of practice), it is about two minutes to get back in. It is getting me some «inactivity in battle» warnings. I got punishment only once after 3 battles in a row with video driver crashes.

I’m discouraged that the «NVidea video driver crashes» are at the same rate in CT 9.5 as they were in 9.3 and 9.4 release.

Please guys NEVER talk about crashes or video artifacts or flickering without listing your video card.* It is ridiculous and pointless!

NVidea and ATI should really have their own seperate crashes and bugs forum.

* (Your operating system too and video driver number if you have more that one to chose from. I don’t)

Edit. I just read the guy that says the game is «working fine» and I can’t stop laughing.

Windows machines can have innumerable combinations of hardware, operating system, and software drivers. Because one configuration works means a game is on it’s way. When they ALL work, you have a perfect game.

OKAY FPS When Settings Maxed Out

Hey this is my first post on the World of Tanks forum. When I max out the settings in World of Tanks, I usually get 60-70FPS. Sometimes the FPS drops to 30-50FPS. My computer specs are listed below. Can someone tell me if this is normal? I heard this games uses only one CPU core, could that be the issue bottleneck? BTW World of Tanks is a great game, I’m currently utilizing a T-46 fully upgrade and my crew is at 60% training.

CPU: LGA 2011 3820 i7 (Runs between 30-40 Degrees Celsius)
GPU: Single GTX 680 FTW
RAM: 16GB
HDD: Western DIgital Caviar Black 2TB (350GB partitioned for OS) (Could this be the bottleneck?)
MOBO: ASUS Rampage IV Formula

If your using high graphics setting and at the worst your getting 30 to 50 FPS I’d say your rocking.

I think you will notice your FPS ranging anywhere from 50-120+ based on your systems specs. Here are a couple tips.

Post processing + advanced post processing = Off
Anti Aliasing = 4x
Flora Density = Off
Shadows = Off (You are limited to X total shadows. and I hate when my tank shadow turns off / on during the match because of the limit.)

City maps you will notice excellent FPS. Large open maps with lots of trees + buildings = Lowest FPS.

Worst FPS = Sniper View + Shooting + Driving through buildings at the same time. I drop to

20fps (dust + smoke = Argh! No optimization! This was fixed back in 7.2 and has since returned for ME at least.

The game is horribly optimized between single core and no sli / crossfire enchancements. I can run BF3 for example or Supreme Commander with max settings and see better FPS than in WOT.

Запускаем WOT от имени администратора, чтобы исключить ошибку Application has stopped working

Удаляем моды WOT, исправляем Application has stopped working a problem

Раньше политикой компании Wargaming не были запрещены модификации, но начиная с обновлений 1.5.1. был составлен список запрещенных модов, к которым относятся моды:

Официально разрешенные модификации можно найти на сайте игры по ссылке https://wgmods. net/.

Если же игрок скачивает моды от других издателей, то это может привести к сбою. Поэтому первым делом нужно удалить все файлы, которые были добавлены с целью облегчения игрового процесса.

Удаляем World Of Tanks и остаточные файлы игры

Удалять игру нужно через панель управления, тогда не должно остаться файлов, которые могут нарушить работу вновь установленной WOT. Если на ПК остались например файлы DirectX, то это может вызвать конфликт, так как программа с игрой может обратиться к ним, а не к более новой версии DirectX. В этом случае появится ошибка Application has stopped working. Очистить остаточные файлы (иногда они могут оставаться даже при удалении через панель управления) можно несколькими способами.

Через операционную систему Windows

Для этого нужно выполнить следующие шаги:

После этого нужно одновременно нажать клавиши Win (клавиша со значком Windows) и R. В открывшемся поле необходимо ввести %AppData% и нажать «OK». Далее в окне нужно найти папку с названием игры World Of Tanks, скопировать её, перенести на другой жесткий диск или носитель. После этого папку нужно удалить.

После этого остается перезагрузить компьютер, снова нажать Win+R и ввести %Temp%. Все содержимое открывшейся папки требуется удалить.

So stop where you are, don’t report except by the «Unsportsmans» button and go on your merry way. Hey bro, it’s definitely not that they wind up not being cheaters, it’s the fact that WG doesn’t want or need anyone to interfere in the matter. They want to depend on Punk Buster or some other software they have installed that they claim does an efficient job, for them.

OP (and anyone else) this is an important concept to keep in mind:

«Connection to the server has been interrupted»

I try to log in and within 20 seconds, I lose connection. This has now happened 35 times today.

I can be logged into the game for days and have no connection issues, than out of the blue, I get hit with disconnection after disconnection.

W.o.T. Customer Service just says, «Try this», and, «Try that», etc., with no definitive fix to this incredibly annoying problem.

Many other players are experiencing this disconnection issue and have posted about it here in the Forum. Many other players I know are having this problem too.

While typing this, I attempted to log in and was disconnected again. That’s 36 disconnections.

My Internet connection is fine.

Trying to log in again. and, «Connection to the server has been interrupted». 37 disconnections.

I should be awarded the most patient tanker award of all time.

Well I have no issues installing the update and from the looks of it the forum ain’t filled with people having the same issue either so we can most likely rule out a widespread issue and focus on what’s preventing your machine from installing the update, posting the contents of the log would be a good start. However if I’m not mistaken there should be a «Retry» button and if you try a couple of times it will most likely work, but my guess would be that either it’s your antivirus doing something it shouldn’t, the patch being downloaded into the updates folder in a corrupt state or something with your connection preventing you from connecting to WG’s update servers which might be since WoT is distributed the torrent way so to speak, something some ISP’s don’t like for obvious reasons.

A couple of quick things you can try:

Pres Windows key + R.
Type %appdata%wargaming.netWorldOfTanks.
Press Enter and a window will open, delete it’s content, it’s WoT cache and settings as well as the same for mods.

Then go to your «Updates» folder, default location: C:GamesWorld_of_TanksUpdates

Then delete the contents there as well, it’s the update files you’ve downloaded now and in the past.

Now run the launcher again and see if it works, if not repeat the above but also include this:

Open a command prompt — Windows key + R
Type ipconfig /flushdns
Press ENTER.

Might also be an idea to check so you’ve updated stuff like drivers and similar.

Не запускается клиент игры с сообщением «application has stopped working».
Модов нет. Файл wot_pref.bat запускал. В режимах 32бит, без модов, и с графическими настройками по умолчанию, та же ошибка. Дрова видеокарты обновлял (gf 1060)

Ваш процессор Processor: Intel® Core i7-7700K, вероятно, не поддерживает установленную Operating System: Windows 7 Максимальная 64-bit.

На первый взгляд слишком большой файл подкачки виртуальной памяти ( Page File: 4097MB used, 28519MB available) при таком размере установленной ( Memory: 16384MB RAM). попробуйте её всё же уменьшить до 12 Гб на системном разделе и отключите на всех остальных дисках.

Я бы попробовал избавиться от AsSysCtrlService.exe. Стрёмная функция от AI Suite II.

Вылетает игра что в ангаре что в бою, звука нет, ошибка звучит так: wot application has stopped working, модов нет, вчера все было отлично, драйвера все последние, в ЦПП обращаться не буду. Наверное пора прощаться с WG, игра уже сама намекает об этом.

Господи, какая единичная проблема, эта проблема известна уже давным давно и постоянно встречается у игроков. Решить эту проблему вы на форуме не сможете, тут только в цпп и ждать неизвестно сколько оттуда ответ. Я не в коем случае сейчас не критикую работу модераторов, это просто факт. Эта проблема с подобной ошибкой встречается часто не только в СНГ, но и в Европе. Достаточно воспользоваться гугл.
Перед и после каждой обновы такая проблема наблюдается и она не единичная. Ни разу эту проблему судя по поиску в гугл не решили на форуме.
ТС, попробуй выйти из геймцентра нажав по иконке на строке пуск правой кнопкой мыши и запустить клиент заново. мне помогло.

В ЦПП отправили всего одно недавнее сообщение с нехваткой памяти, которое не решалось стандартными методами.

Нужно всего лишь точно выполнять предложения модераторов и отвечать на их вопросы.

Edit: It’s fixed now see this post for the solution that worked for me:

The game crashes instantly while starting (after clicking play in the launcher window).
I tried integrity check and then uninstalling and reinstalling the game, no mods were installed.
I’ve checked my graphic driver and it’s up to date.
Last week I’ve played without any errors and my PC (hardware) hasn’t changed since.

It’s possible that a driver updated automatically but I didn’t run any updates manually.

Any ideas as to why this happens?

It’s sorta urgent since my premium time is ticking away and I cannot play at all.

I opened a ticket a few days ago but no reaction so far (Ticket #1789177).

При попытке обновления выдается критическая ошибка следующего содержания:

Во-первых как рекомендовано в ошибке, просматриваем журнал обновления вручную, чтобы выяснить в чем может быть проблема. Для этого заходим в папку с игрой по адресу: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\WoTLauncher.log и обнаруживаем там довольно много полезной информации, среди которой и ошибка в обновлении файла ангара:

Решение проблемы с обновлением

Из-за того, что не была инициирована ни одна игровая сессия клиента, обновление глючит и выдает ошибку. Поэтому, если вы обновляете World of Tanks до новой версии, рекомендуем перед этим хоть раз войти в игру, чтобы создались необходимые файлы в директории на локальном диске.

So i’ve recently downloaded the game as i clicked «play» this poped up «The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application». No idea what to do now. Help?

I’m assuming you are running windows 7 64bit, am I correct?

Do the following:

1. Double-click My Computer, and then right-click the hard disk drive you want to check.
2. Click Properties, and then click Tools.
3. In Error-checking, click Check Now.

If it has found any errors allow windows to try and repair them. When this is finished and you have rebooted your computer, try launching the client again. Let me know if this works for you.

By any chance did you uninstall anything prior to this error?

World of Tanks + Blue Screen

so ever since 8.11 i’ve had this issue.

when i start world of tanks, and alt tab out while it loads. my computer crashes to a blue screen.

so i thought that was just something with when world of tanks starts. so i got in the habit of w8ing for it to load and alt tabbing out (teamspeak, and such) when i’m in the garage

but now i’m also crashing even when i’m in the garage.

so far i can alt tab out when its loading for battle, when i’m in a battle.

but when i’m in the garage or first loading the game. alt tabbing will give me the blue screen.

any idea why this is happening? it never happened 8.10 or earlier.

is it just world of tanks? or is it something on my computer (to date its only when world of tanks is running that i’ve seen these crashes. i can play Warframe, Mabinogi, Vindictus, SWTOR, warthunder, and so on all fine. but world of tanks. crashes during alt tabs during garage or first load.

Try uninstalling and perform a fresh instal.

1st, try removing any mods you have in res_mods folder (clear the folder altogether).

If that doesn’t work press windows+r and then type %appdata%/wargaming.net and delete world of tanks folder.

If that also doesn’t work try installing the latest drivers (do a clean install) for your video card.

If that doesn’t work either, do a clean reinstall of the game (remove eventhing using the game uninstaller).

If it is still crashing, run windows restore utility and chose latest restore point.

Finally, if all that doesn’t work you should run your windows disc and select repair.

But, as FlanFlanScarlet said, all BSoDs leave a hex code. You can try finding the dump file in %systemroot%\minidumps.

Also, you can look if WoT generated any error log itself (. \world_of_tanks\logs\).
