How to use multi-login

To plunge into gaming via Game Center you need to log in first. If you’re new to the Wargaming universe, create an account to get started.

How to install the Common Test client

The Common Test is a test of the upcoming official version of the game before the version is released and becomes available for players. To participate in the Common Test, a special test client is required. You can find information about future Common Tests by keeping an eye on the portal for news and announcements.

The test server is different from a regular server. No achievements, XP, or credits received on the special test client will be carried over to your main server. However, the same rules are applied on the test server as on the main gaming server. Therefore, there are penalties for violating these rules in accordance with the License Agreement.

You can launch the Common Test only via Wargaming.net Game Center. To participate in the Common Test follow these steps:

How Game Center utilizes PC resources

If you want to speed up the installation process, you can enable the Use all computer resources during installation option (Game Center Settings > Updates). This will allow Game Center to use up resources that may be in use by other processes, which may lead to a decrease in their performance. But the games will be installed and updated faster.

Alternatively, you can select an option to save resources while downloading and installing game updates. This way, Game Center will perform updates slower, but free up your internet connection and system resources for your convenience.

When a game is launched from Game Center, the app stops checking for updates and notifications. The CPU and network load are negligible (

How Game Center affects internet traffic consumption

There is no significant effect on your network when Game Center runs in the background. It periodically checks for updates and notifications by sending simple HTTP requests with minuscule traffic consumption.

News, tutorials, and special deals are uploaded only when you activate the app and only for the specific game launcher you are currently viewing. The network load slightly increases, but the overall traffic consumption remains minimal.

Можно ли добавить игру в Game Center, не скачивая её заново?

Да, можно. Game Center способен импортировать установленные игры. Для этого необходимо перейти во вкладку «Все игры», выбрать пункт «Импортировать игры» и указать путь к интересующим играм.

Game Center использует больше ресурсов, чем лончер?

При установке игры Game Center по умолчанию потребляет меньше ресурсов по сравнению с лончером. Using it, you can easily and conveniently install games, control downloads, and log in to whichever Wargaming game you want, as well as receive topical news and information. This article will provide you information about how the WGC interacts with networks, and also about several useful launcher settings that will help you optimize the launcher’s network usage. Be sure to also read the article about how the WGC uses your PC’s resources.

By default, the WGC is set up in such a way that after you start it and then click the «Close» button; the WGC will switch to the background mode but continue working. While in the background mode, the WGC will be displayed as a round icon with the Wargaming logo on the taskbar in the bottom-right corner of the screen (near to the clock).

If the icon is static, it means that the WGC isn’t currently downloading any game updates, and it’s in standby mode.

The WGC checks for any updates and notifications from time to time while in the background mode. For that purpose, it sends simple http queries. These take up only minimal bandwidth.

It’s possible to disable the switch to background mode when the Game Center window is closed. When it’s disabled, you’ll exit the application upon closing the Game Center window. News and other content, which is displayed in the main WGC window, is loaded only when you start (or maximize) the application. How to play World of Tanks via Steam

Unfortunately, you cannot link your Steam account to an existing Wargaming.net ID via World of Tanks: a dual authorization system is not available in the game. If you log into the game via Steam, a World of Tanks account will automatically be created that is linked to your Steam account.

World of Tanks was not originally developed as a multi-platform project. That is, if you already play it, you should continue to use the original client.

If you have previously played our other products via Steam, but have not played World of Tanks, you will be automatically logged into World of Tanks using that account (if the region matches).

Wargaming Game Center является удобным приложением, позволяющим вам выполнять установку, запуск и своевременное обновление всех приложений и игр, выпускаемых белорусским издателем Wargaming. Теперь каждая из вышеперечисленных задач может быть выполнена вами через один единственный лаунчер и не займёт у вас так много времени.

Установка и обновление игр

Зайдя в лаунчер и попав на главную страницу, вам будет показан весь список доступных на данный момент для скачивания игр. Настроить путь установки игр можно как в настройках самого лаунчера, так и указать путь перед самой установкой, в специально отведённом для этого окне. Лаунчер поддерживает уже установленные игры, поэтому вам не придётся качать её заново, а в случае утраты некоторых файлов игры, лаунчер сам скачает недостающие.

Все ваши ранее скачанные игры будут отображаться в отдельном для этого окне. Там вы сможете настроить графику игр, в зависимости от мощности вашего компьютера. Например, если ваш компьютер это позволяет, то для World of Tanks вы сможете скачать патч с обновлёнными HD текстурами, а в случае проблем с работой игры, вы сможете его отключить.

How the Wargaming Game Center interacts with networks

The WGC is a unified launcher for all Wargaming games. Using it, you can easily and conveniently install games, control downloads, and log in to whichever Wargaming game you want, as well as receive topical news and information. This article will provide you information about how the WGC interacts with networks, and also about several useful launcher settings that will help you optimize the launcher’s network usage. Be sure to also read the article about how the WGC uses your PC’s resources.

By default, the WGC is set up in such a way that after you start it and then click the «Close» button; the WGC will switch to the background mode but continue working. While in the background mode, the WGC will be displayed as a round icon with the Wargaming logo on the taskbar in the bottom-right corner of the screen (near to the clock).

If the icon is static, it means that the WGC isn’t currently downloading any game updates, and it’s in standby mode.

The WGC checks for any updates and notifications from time to time while in the background mode. For that purpose, it sends simple http queries. These take up only minimal bandwidth.

It’s possible to disable the switch to background mode when the Game Center window is closed. When it’s disabled, you’ll exit the application upon closing the Game Center window. You can find the instructions on how to do it in the section of this article titled: «How to manually set the WGC’s interactions with a network.»

News and other content, which is displayed in the main WGC window, is loaded only when you start (or maximize) the application. Only content that relates to the game you’re currently browsing is loaded. While loading news and other content, bandwidth usage increases, but still remains at a very low level.

Any updates found by the WGC can be categorized into two types.

The first type relates to directly updating a game to its latest version. As a rule, you can run an updated game immediately after any updates have been downloaded.

Some projects have upcoming updates as well. They are used to improve download processes on the days when updates are released and lower the game servers’ loads.

You can limit the download speeds of any upcoming updates, or turn the feature off completely. You can find the instructions on how to do it in the section of this article titled: «How to manually set the WGC’s interactions with a network.»

In addition, you can schedule game updates in the WGC and choose the most convenient time for you. For example, if network traffic is cheaper at some specific hours, or if you just want to avoid updates at the times when you use the PC most frequently. Please note: the schedule is valid for newly found updates only. If you pause an update process that has already started, it will continue when the WGC is started again or when you exit a game, regardless of the schedule settings.

During the download process, you can see how much remains to be downloaded on the page of the game that is being updated.

The WGC not only downloads updates, but also seeds them using a torrent-protocol. Simply speaking, any updates you download don’t just come from a data center, but also from nearby PCs and local networks as well. This allows you and your battle friends to update any clients that might require it more quickly and efficiently. You can choose to limit the update seeding speed, or turn it off completely. When you start a game, the WGC ceases all checks for updates and notifications and pauses all internal processes.

If you maximize the main WGC window while a game is running, it will download any news and other content until you return to the game. It’s not necessary to minimize the window.

You can make additional changes to the WGC. To do so, start the WGC and click on the Settings button (the gear icon on the left side of the main window):

How to use Game Center settings

My PC slows down when Game Center installs the game updates

To reduce the PC load during the game updates installation go to Game Center settings > Updates section > enable Reduce computer load during installation > save changes.

I do not want Game Center to upload the patches

To stop the uploading patches while WGC is run or minimized in tray go to Game Center settings > Updates section > enable No uploading > save changes.

I do not want my games updated automatically

In case you want to manage the game updates manually please disable the next option in Game Center settings > Updates section > Automatically update installed games > save changes.

How to schedule game updates

This feature allows user to set time slots for automatic game updates. Default value is Daily 0-24.

You can set up to 10 different time intervals for automatic update. When an update for a game is found and time is not suitable for automatic update, you can update the game by clicking the corresponding button on the game page.

To configure update schedule go to Game Center settings > Updates section > Enable Automatically update installed games > Manage Updates Schedule. Set desired update intervals and save changes.

What are the upcoming updates and now to preconfigure them

The upcoming update will allow users to download patches in advance and store them on their hard drive, patches will be activated on the day of Game’s release and the user can start playing immediately. Not all Games supports Upcoming updates yet. Please note that due to the nature of upcoming update patches process, if enabled, this type of updates will not follow the Game Update Schedule and will be applied once patches become available.

To preconfigure this option go to Game Center settings > Updates section > enable Download updates in advance > limit (or not) the speed for the updates to download > save changes.

How to create a WGCheck report

WGCheck is a tool that checks the game files’ integrity and can generate a technical report about your computer and connection: DxDiag report, active processes, installed applications and Network Diagnostics. This report will help Player Support to help you.

This will initiate the download and recovery of damaged files.

Should the game crash after Dump generation was enabled, a crash report will be generated inside the WoT subfolder Reports, win32/Reports, or win64/Reports.

Crash dumps can exceed attachment limits. You may use Google Drive, or any other free online storage service, to share the download link.

If you encounter any network-related issues in the game, attach a Network Diagnostics report to the ticket.

Por padrão, o Wargaming.net Game Center é executado em segundo plano e minimizado na sua barra de tarefas.

Se quiser acelerar o processo de instalação, você pode ativar a opção Usar todos os recursos do computador durante a instalação (Configurações do Game Center> Atualizações). Com isso, o Game Center vai usar recursos que podem estar sendo usados por outros processos, o que pode diminuir o desempenho deles. Qual o benefício? Os jogos e atualização serão instalados mais rapidamente.

Quer continuar usar a sua banda de internet com velocidade mais alta e os recursos do Sistema mais livres? Selecione a opção para salvar recursos durante o download e a instalação de atualizações do jogo. Assim, o Game Center vai fazer atualizações mais lentas.

Como o Game Center afeta o uso da sua Internet

Não há gasto significativo da sua banda com o Game Center executado em segundo plano. Ele vai checar periodicamente as atualizações e notificações, enviando solicitações http simples com consumo de tráfego muito pequeno.

Notícias, tutoriais e ofertas especiais são enviados somente quando você ativa o aplicativo e somente para o launcher específico do jogo que você está visualizando no momento. O consumo de banda aumenta um pouco; mas permanece mínimo.

В Game Center собраны все проекты Wargaming: которые уже вышли и которые только готовятся к релизу. Если же вы участвуете в тестировании наших новых игр (например, Total War: ARENA), то найдёте здесь и их. С помощью Game Center вы сможете установить несколько копий игры, если захотите поиграть на серверах другого региона.

• Бета-версия Game Center — это альтернатива обычным игровым лончерам (можно использовать либо Game Center, либо лончер).
• Обратите внимание: если вы установите Game Center и импортируете в него игры, стандартные лончеры этих игр работать не будут.

Неизвестно, когда уже состоится полноценный выпуск WGC и замена лаунчера, но тестовые версии по КД продолжают выходить на супертест. Когда такой выпуск будет и у нас, тоже ждём премчик, ну естественно прем 8 Вам никто не даст, тем более M6A2E1. А вот тарантайки 2-3 уровня вполне возможно, ибо понаделали их даже с запасом на этот год (какой-нибудь колёсный AM 39 Gendron-Somua — прим. WE).

Собственно, теперь понятно, как Wargaming будет мотивировать устанавливать свой WGC.

Transition From Launcher to Wargaming.net Game Center

We are transferring players to the Wargaming.net Game Center and building a unified infrastructure for all projects in the Wargaming.net universe. The transition will affect all games, and the next step for all tankers is transferring all Common Test participants to the Game Center.

The Common Test will only be available through the Wargaming.net Game Center. The Common Test launcher will be updated on the launch, then all installed games will be imported into the Game Center, including the World of Tanks Common Test client. The will be no other way to launch the Common Test client.

How do I select a WoT server before entering the Garage?

In the client settings, enable the «Display server selection upon game launch» option.

Can I add the game to the Game Center without downloading it again?

Yes, you can. Game Center can import installed games. Go to the All Games tab, click Import Installed Games and select the path to the games you want to import.

Does the Game Center use more resources than the launcher?

The Game Center uses fewer resources by default compared to the launcher. If you want to speed up the installation process, you may enable the «Use all computer resources during installation» option. This will allow the Game Center to use up resources that may be in use by other processes, which may lead to a decrease in their performance. But the games will be installed and updated faster. At the same time, if there are no heavy processes in the system, the installation will take the same amount of time in both cases.

When a game is launched from Game Center, it stops checking for updates and notifications. The CPU load is negligible (

0%). Network load is also zero.

Why are there so many banners in the Game Center?

The Game Center keeps you up-to-date with the current news and the best deals in the Wargaming.net universe. Having all the relevant information in one place is convenient and saves time.

Will the Game Center use my personal data?

The Game Center only stores your username, email address, and token—a temporary unique user identifier. To help with game optimization, the Game Center may send anonymous computer configuration data.

Can I switch accounts without entering login data every time?

Yes, you can. You can even switch between accounts for different projects and clusters. For example, you will be able to use accounts from different regions for WoT.

Why doesn’t the Game Center close automatically after the game launches? Will it be implemented in the future?

The Game Center does not close because it automatically updates game data and user account data.

Can I install game clients of different regions (CIS, EU)?

Is Game Center compatible with Mac?

Not yet, but we plan to add support in the future.

Previously, I had an issue with the Game Center where the app didn’t unload from memory after the game was launched. It affected performance on my low-end PC. Was the issue solved?

Yes, the issue was solved and you should no longer encounter it. If your PC stutters during the game update, check if the «Use all computer resources during installation» option is enabled. If the performance is still very poor, you can enable the «Exit Game Center when I close the main window» option.

Is there a difference in internet traffic consumption between the game launcher and the Game Center?

There is no significant difference: nothing is downloaded or uploaded additionally. Moreover, you can set up an update schedule in the app settings, which will restrict the automatic update download time. You can also restrict the download speed, but the updates will take longer to download.
