About World of Tanks
World of Tanks is the greatest team-based massively multiplayer online action game dedicated to armored warfare. Throw yourself into epic tank battles with other players from all over the world, picking from an arsenal of more than 700 historically accurate armored vehicles from America, Britain, China, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Poland, the Soviet Union, and Sweden.
This includes a flexible upgrade system that allows you to swap between authentic vehicle parts and weapons so you can craft a tank to your style of play. Whether you prefer to exhaust your foes with fast and maneuverable light tanks, breach enemy lines with all-purpose medium tanks, use the force of heavy tanks to eliminate opposing armored forces, or become a sniper with long-range howitzers, each type has its own advantage and can be extremely effective when operated by a true tank ace.
However, becoming a great tank commander alone isn’t enough to win. In World of Tanks, it’s all about teamwork. Victory is achieved by combining your combat skills with other members of your team and being responsible for your role on the battlefield. Only together will you achieve victory.
The Ultimate Armored Warfare Experience
Experience intense tank-on-tank combat in a unique battlefield experience that’s a mix of multiple genres. Combined with top-notch graphics, a complex physics system, and stunning sound effects all help to provide endless excitement and entertainment.
Simulator: Authentic models and vehicle characteristics make you feel like a real tank commander taking part in a furious armored offensive.
RPG: Your armored beast isn’t just a tin can on tracks. It’s an evolving machine that should be treated accordingly. Research your available upgrades and modifications to enhance its performance on the battlefield.
Action: Take part in joint operations to spot, track, and destroy enemy units. Engage them in head-to-head duels where your speed and reaction time is as important as any co-op shooter.
Strategy: There’s only one simple rule to follow: Don’t be a hero. Rally your comrades to devise a battle plan and assign roles, then move out and defeat your enemy on the field.
Dynamic Combat System
New players jump into battle in less than a minute to take part in short, decisive combat actions designed to ensure fast and action-oriented warfare. You must be bold, decisive, and flexible enough to succeed in the maelstrom of iron and fire. It also wouldn’t hurt to have your wits about you when it comes to achieving victory in three different battle modes: Standard, Assault, and Encounter.
Epic Tank Clashes
Intense battles with up to 30 combat vehicles unfold on enormous and detailed battlegrounds that feature a variety of terrain from open fields and forests to deserts and industrial zones. These unique battlegrounds offer a wide scope for tactical decisions from aggressive fast-paced thrusts to elaborate flanking operations and diversionary attacks.

Variety of Game ModesThere are four battle modes in World of Tanks Console: Standard battle, Encounter, Assault, and Team Destruction. In a Standard battle, each team has to capture the enemy base while protecting its own. In an Encounter battle, there’s just one neutral base on the map. Whoever captures it, brings victory to their team. An Assault is a fierce clash between attackers and defenders. There are no bases in Team Destruction. The team that destroys all enemy vehicles or deals the most damage by the end of the battle wins. Complete Integration with Xbox and PlayStation ServicesYou can play the game on PlayStation for free; no PlayStation Plus subscription is needed, whereas you must be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber to play on Microsoft consoles. Interns at WargamingFor a week in October, Wargaming Europe had the chance to welcome two students named Léo and Quentin to our offices for work experience. They are fourteen years old and are thoroughly addicted to our games! They spent the time working with the French community team, and kept community coordinators Tanatoy and Rhaya very busy. Each day they posted to the forums as PetitStagiaire1 (Quentin) and PetitStagiaire2 (Léo) – the nicknames literally mean ‘Little Intern’, and they received a warm welcome from the community. Here they talk a little about their experiences. We arrived at the office at 10:30 on Monday morning and were shown around. We were given computers to use for the week and a camera so that we could take pictures of the inside of the Wargaming office. We were very impressed with the break room which had several Xbox 360s to play games on! We also got to play lots of retro games on the video arcade machine. We interviewed lots of different people from all the departments and teams in the company, so we have a good understanding of how everything works. We even saw the marketing team and the very elusive content team. Each day, we were in charge of creating a contest for the French-speaking players of both World of Tanks and World of Warplanes. The event in which two Leopard I tanks faced 15 Tier IV tanks was so popular that players had a vote asking the community team to continue doing it! The top players took part in a grand final that had two Tiger 1 tanks facing four Tier IVs. From all the community team and the French-speaking community, we want to thank Léo and Quentin – it was a wonderful week! We hope to see you again in the future. As Léo said, “See you in five years when I come back to work here!” We create gamesWargaming has developed over 15 titles, including the hit World of Tanks, across PC, mobile and console. The network load slightly increases, but the overall traffic consumption remains minimal. Обзор World of Tank: Generals.

It periodically checks for updates and notifications by sending simple HTTP requests with minuscule traffic consumption. News, tutorials, and special deals are uploaded only when you activate the app and only for the specific game launcher you are currently viewing. The network load slightly increases, but the overall traffic consumption remains minimal. PlatoonsIn This SectionA Platoon is a unit of several players who will go into battle on the same team. You can play in a Platoon in the following modes: You must select a mode before creating a Platoon. The number of players in a Platoon depends on the selected mode.
Playing in a Platoon brings additional bonuses per battle. For playing in a Platoon, regardless of vehicle tier, battle results, or Premium Account If you have WoT Premium Account If you don’t have WoT Premium Account, but at least one of your Platoon mates does Creating a PlatoonTo play in a Platoon, you can create a new Platoon and invite your friends, or choose find players to be matched with random Platoon mates. To create a new Platoon: Searching for PlayersAn automatic search allows you to find players who want to play in a Platoon and correspond to your mastery level and search preferences. An automatic search considers the following criteria: In addition to the main criteria, you can set your own search preferences: You can use the Platoon menu in your Garage and search for players before creating a Platoon. In this case, the Platoon is created automatically and includes you and the players found. If the Platoon has already been created and has vacant places, you can activate the player search in the Platoon window. Note that starting an automatic search cancels all sent but unanswered invitations. To set search preferences and find suitable players: To set search preferences and find suitable players: If there are no players with the selected tiers, the system continues to search for players with other tiers. The Platoon Commander is marked with a special icon The Commander will not change if the Platoon already consists of two players. You created a Platoon and invited your friend. Your friend accepted the invitation. After that, you decided to use the automatic search to find one more player for your Platoon. The WTR of the found player is higher than yours, but you will still be the Platoon Commander. Inviting PlayersIf the Platoon is created and has vacant places, you can invite players to join you. You can send invitations to several players. However, the number of places in a Platoon is limited and only those who accept your invitation sooner than others join the Platoon. To invite players to a Platoon: Accepting an InvitationIf you are invited to a Platoon, a special notification appears in the bottom right of the Garage. It shows who sent you the invitation and a message, if there is one. The invitation expires after a while. You also won’t be able to accept the invitation if the Platoon is full or dismissed. Excluding PlayersThe Platoon Commander can exclude a player from the Platoon before the battle starts. If you search for players after this, the excluded player will not appear in your Platoon again. You excluded a player from the Platoon and started a search to find another player to the vacant place. The excluded player will not appear in your Platoon again in this case. However, if you leave the current Platoon and start searching for players to form a new Platoon, you can be matched with the excluded player. Communication in a PlatoonPlatoon mates can exchange text messages in the Platoon chat and talk to each other using the voice chat. The chats are available both in the Garage and during the battle. Platoon ChatIn the Garage, find the Platoon chat in the right part of the Platoon window. Voice ChatTo enable or disable the voice chat click Final PreparationsCareful preparation for battle is one of the most important factors when playing in a Platoon. Use Platoon and voice chats to discuss vehicles for the battle, excluded maps and battle types, tactics, and other important questions. Vehicle SelectionThere are several rules that determine which vehicles you can select while playing in a Platoon: Excluded Maps and Battle TypesThe Platoon cannot play on maps and in battle types excluded by the Platoon Commander. Note that only the Commander’s settings are counted. You have excluded Encounter Battle and the Himmelsdorf map, but they are not excluded by your Platoon Commander. While playing in a Platoon, you can find yourself both in the Encounter Battle and on the Himmelsdorf map. Once you have selected your vehicle, click Ready! to confirm that you are ready to fight. Dynamic PlatoonsTo create a Dynamic Platoon: Joining a Dynamic PlatoonWorld of tanks generals wargaming netArmored fighting vehicles produced and fielded by Great Britain and the British Commonwealth, focused primarily on Britannic development. British tanks normally will be found with one or two great strengths and one or two great weaknesses at the same time. The tank doctrine of the United Kingdom during World War 2 dictated that tanks be used as either infantry tanks or cruiser (cavalry) tanks. Infantry tanks were designed to move up with infantry and as a result they were characterized by their slow speed and heavy armour. Cruiser tanks were designed to act like cavalry and exploit openings in the enemy defense and as a result they were characterized by their high speed and light armour. In World of Tanks, these classifications have been applied to the standard light, medium, and heavy tank model of other nations for simplicity. Nonetheless, the British tank doctrine still applies and results in oddities like heavily armored light tanks (e.g. the Valentine) and very lightly armored and fast medium tanks (e.g. the Cromwell). Later British tanks focused on the doctrine of a universal tank. Sporting good armor, good mobility, and very high accuracy; universal tanks were designed to replace the heavy and medium tank doctrine with a tank that could do everything. The first successful British universal tank design was the heavy cruiser Centurion (Mk. 2). Its success set the precedent for later British tank designs as well as the concept of the modern main battle tank. They are the only other country to match the Germans in terms of accuracy and hit point pools. As a result of the ‘universal tank’ development the British medium and heavy tanks share a lot of modules at higher tiers. The British light tank line were reunited with the British medium line at tier 5, and split out at tier 7. The late tier British light tanks were mainly build as a support and reconnaissance platform, they generally had very poor damage output, but compensated this with very small size (some of them were the smallest tank at its tier) and excellent mobility that makes it ideal for passive scouting. British medium tanks start out as the ponderous infantry tanks at low tiers. They have terrible armor for their tier (except the Matilda), but good guns. Starting at tier 5 the British get medium cruiser tanks which are fast with quick firing but low damage guns, then at tier 8 they finally evolve into powerful universal tanks, with good mobility, speed, and accuracy. British Tank Destroyers are separated into two different characteristics; The Turretless (or Assault Gun) and The Turreted. With characteristic listed at The Turretless TD above, The British Turreted TD, also known as «Gun Carrier» are generally polar-opposite. The Valentine line and the lend-lease medium line converge at mid-tiers into its starting. The first vehicle, the Archer, is quite different from most other vehicles: the gun is mounted rearward to the original platform, so the vehicle itself could only achieve top speed by moving in reverse. In general, these tank destroyers has thin armor for their great mobility and rotating turrets. At the top of the line is the FV4005 Stage II, It has almost completely opposite characteristics to the FV217, with almost non-existent armor, slow-firing gun but decent mobility. Despite being somewhat glass-made, the 183mm main gun can rout unprepared opponents by its sheer alpha damage, possibly even without spending a shot. British Self Propelled Guns feature wide horizontal gun arcs but generally short firing range. Most of the SPGs are lightly armored and have low alpha damage, but have good rate of fire. They vary in qualities in the tiers, such as the Birch Gun having a turret and the Crusader 5.5-in SP having its gun reversed mounted, resulting in an unusually high reverse speed. At tier 8 and above, they have very big superstructures with serious guns and hull armor. The tree ends with the Conqueror Gun Carriage with damage nearly as high as that of the T92 but it is also the least accurate gun in game. Several extremely unusual design solutions were used for the vehicle: a driver sat in the fighting compartment, and his observation device was installed in the hatch at the turret top. The device was synchronized with the driver’s station and rotated with the seat against the turret. The project was discontinued at the development stage. The LTG leads to the LTTB. Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Performance
This tank, unlike other light tanks, has a very low profile, which in turn, gives the tank a good camouflage value; added with Camo net and Binoculars, will make it into a well equipped passive scout. The low profile will also allow side hugging taller tanks (But the turret size would be problematic). Keep in mind that firing will reveal your position, and the armor the tank has at Tier VII will not be very effective, unless its small arms fire (Eg. lower tier 75/76mm guns). Active scouting with this tank is not advised, as it has a weak ammo rack (As mentioned above) and poor view range. The most likely explosion rate is when the tank is exposing either side towards enemy fire; and the view range will force you to get closer to the enemy, as it will increase the risk of a trip to the garage. For this reason it is HIGHLY recommended to at least have Coated Optics.

Historical Info
In this project, the crew compartment was situated in the turret,w while the engine was apparently in the back in lying position. Fuel tanks and a part of stowed ammunition were located in the “nose” of the vehicle. In the turret, on the right side from the gun was the driver, the commander of the vehicle was behind him, and on the left side there was the gunner and loader. Furthermore, the engine was placed horizontally (the cylinders were horizontal), which, along with placing the crew in the turret, reduced the height of the vehicle.
As mentioned earlier, the driver’s seat was “stabilized” – when the turret turned, the driver stayed looking forward – this was possible thanks to a special chain transmission and the fact that the whole turret was “sitting” on the bottom of the tank on a pivot, not unlike the one of the anti-aircraft lafettes. Effectively, the driver was sitting on the turret axis and the whole thing rotated around him. The driver was also sitting above the rest of the crewmembers, looking out via a roof-mounted periscope, which was also stabilized.
As for the armament,in player-suggested trees, this tank is equipped with either a 57mm ZiS-5, or 76,2mm ZiS-4 and S-54 and characterised as a small, fast vehicle. Historically, it was to be equipped with a long-barelled 76mm gun and a machinegun. The vehicle was supposed to be 1,3m tall, 4m long and was supposed to have 7 large roadwheels. Armor was most likely probably non-existent.

The dates of the official mode launch will be announced in our web portal news.
General Overview
Mode Rules
Frontline battles follow special rules that differ from those of Random Battles. Below, you can find detailed information about the tide of battles and key mechanics of the mode.
Tide of Battles and Main Objectives
Combat takes place on one of two maps: Normandy or Kraftwerk. The total area of any map is 9 square kilometers. Each map provides three horizontal lines:
The map has 5 pillboxes. As soon as attackers capture at least one sector within the 2nd defensive front they can embark on their primary mission and destroy Pillboxes: long-range guns, each with their own HP pool. Pillboxes are protected by armored hoods and virtually impenetrable from head-on. Aim at their rear, where there is significantly thinner armor. The attacking team win as soon as they destroy 3 pillboxes.
There are special spots scattered across the active combat area where you can restore HP, repair modules, replenish ammo and consumables.
Repair and Resupply Zones have a cooldown time. Once you have repaired your vehicle to 100%, you must wait 120 seconds before you can use it again. If you are hit while in a Repair or Resupply zone, you must wait an additional 5 minutes to stock up on rounds and finish repairing the vehicle.

Standard base capture mechanics apply: once the attacking vehicles enter the circle, the front begins being captured. When the attackers capture a base, they take control of the entire zone, and the next zone (vertically) becomes available for capture.

Each sector of the first and the second line has a base. When the attacking team captures a base, they take control of the entire zone, and the next sector (vertically) becomes available for attack.
Once the base in sector A is captured, the attackers can start combat actions in sector D. They will get access to sectors E and F after capturing sectors B and C correspondingly.
Special rules of base capturing in Frontline:
Once a sector has been lost, the defenders have 1 minute to leave it. When the time is over, all the defenders’ vehicles in the captured zone are destroyed by an airstrike.
Respectively, vehicles of the attacking team are destroyed by an airstrike in the following cases:
The more bases of the first line are captured, the fewer points are required to capture the bases of the second line.
Number of captured bases of the first line | Number of capture points required to take a base of the second line |
---|---|
1 | 450 |
2 | 250 |
3 | 150 |
Objective Characteristics
Once attackers capture at least one sector on the second line, they can proceed to the third line and attack the main objectives—five gun turrets. All objectives share the same characteristics:
The high-caliber guns do not rotate or move but can spot enemy vehicles. Their maximum view range is 445 meters. They can transmit information about enemy positions to all allies because their Signal Range is unlimited.
Battle Duration
The basic battle duration in the Frontline mode is 12 minutes. Effective actions of the attacking team can extend this time. A captured base adds 2 minutes to the battle duration. Capturing the last base adds 4 minutes.
The attackers captured 5 bases (A, B, C, E and F). Therefore, the battle duration has increased by 10 minutes and is now 22 minutes. Capturing base D will add 4 more minutes to the battle duration totalling 26 minutes.
Overtime
Additional time starts if the battle time runs out and at least one vehicle of the attacking team is capturing a base.
The maximum overtime duration is 90 seconds. If the attackers fail to capture the base during this time, they lose.
Overtime ends earlier in the following cases:
Frontline Vehicles
To participate in Frontline, you need to have at least one Tier VIII vehicle in your Garage.
Rental Vehicles
All rental vehicles are replicas of the corresponding researchable vehicles in their top configurations. They can be used in Frontline only. Rental vehicles are available even if you already have the original version of the vehicle.
Rental vehicles are offered with temporary slots and crews trained to 100%. You can transfer crew members to a rental vehicle of the same nation and type for free and without the need for retraining.
When the rental period is over, the vehicle remains in your Garage but you cannot fight in it anymore.
Combat Reserves
In Frontline battles, you can use various Combat Reserves which grant you various bonuses.
All Combat reserves are divided into three categories:
Attack Reserves
Recon Reserves
Tactical Reserves
Commands artillery to lay down fire with HE shells on the selected area. Vehicles in the center of the impact area are heavily damaged.
Commands a ground-attack plane to drop bombs in the selected area, stunning and causing damage to enemy vehicles. Vehicles in the center of the impact area are heavily damaged.
Deploys an active minefield in the selected area for a certain period of time. Mines can be destroyed by shots or explosion. Enemies can detect mines from close range or with the Recon Flight or Sentinel Combat Reserves.
Commands a reconnaissance plane to spot a line in a large area. Vehicles in the plane’s sight are spotted and remain visible for a certain duration. Detects minefields.
Provides a bonus to capture speed or capture blocking. In addition, it reduces the time to refresh Resupply Circles and speeds up ammunition resupply.
Increases the concealment parameter of your vehicle 3 seconds after it stops moving and reduces the concealment of enemy vehicles, either moving or behind vegetation. Provides a passive bonus to view range and detects enemy mines. Does not work during vehicle movement.
Improves the crew performance of the vehicle and of all allies within a particular radius, adding a % bonus to the major qualification of each crew member. A player who applies it will receive an improved effect.
Lays smoke screens that conceal allied vehicles. Enemy vehicles inside smoke have a decreased view range and crew efficiency.
Gradually restores a certain percentage of your vehicle’s hit points. When active, reduces the damage taken from mines and speeds up HP restoration of vehicles within a Resupply Circle.
A Combat Reserve can be mounted into a slot of the corresponding category only. Vehicles of all types have one slot of each category. However, each vehicle type features a distinct slot configuration.
Slot 1 | Slot 2 | Slot 3 | |
Light Tanks | |||
Medium Tanks | |||
Heavy Tanks | |||
Tank Destroyers | |||
SPG |
Slots unlock gradually in battle as you reach new ranks: the first slot is available from the start, while the second and third slots unlock upon reaching the Sergeant and Lieutenant ranks, respectively.
Reserves can be improved during the battle. The first reserve is improved after reaching the Captain and Major ranks, and the second reserve upon reaching the General rank. The third reserve cannot be improved. It always has the effect of the first regardless of your rank.
You entered a battle in the HWK 12 light tank with the following Combat Reserves mounted:
At the beginning of the battle, you can only use Engineering. Inspire will unlock after reaching the Sergeant rank and Artillery Strike upon reaching the Lieutenant rank.
Engineering will be improved twice: to Reserve II when you reach the Captain rank and to Reserve III once the Major rank is reached. Inspire will be improved to Reserve II when you reach the General rank. Artillery Strike cannot be improved as it is mounted into the third slot.
Activating Combat Reserves
When a Frontline Stage starts, all players have one Reserve of each category:
To get access to other Reserves, you need to activate them using Combat Reserve Points that are awarded for reaching Frontline Tiers.
To activate a Reserve:
Mounting Combat Reserves
If you want to use Combat Reserves during a battle, you have to mount them into slots before the battle starts.
Recon Flight, Inspire, and Artillery Strike are mounted onto all Tier VIII vehicles by default. However, you can replace them with other Reserves.
To mount a Reserve:
Respawning in Battle
If your vehicle is destroyed in Frontline, the battle is still not over for you. You can respawn on the battlefield and continue fighting.
Once your vehicle is destroyed, the Respawn screen opens where you can select a new vehicle in which to return into battle. The same vehicle can also be used for respawning but only after at least 7 minutes have passed since it was destroyed.
When the battle starts, you have one vehicle for respawning in your reserve. Every 5 minutes, one more vehicle is added. The reserve can hold a maximum of 2 vehicles. If your vehicle is destroyed and you run out of vehicles in your reserve, you need to wait until new vehicles are delivered. After that, you can select a vehicle and get back to the battlefield.
You cannot respawn in a sector where there are 12 other allies are already fighting.
Playing in an SPG, you are also unable to respawn in a sector with another allied SPG.
The respawn mechanics allow you to quickly move to another sector, for example, if you want to support your allies on the opposite flank. To go to the Respawn screen, press and hold J for 15 seconds. Note that your vehicle is self-destroyed in this case.
Resupply Circles
Resupply Circles are located on every line. There, you can restore vehicle hit points, repair damaged modules, treat all injured crew members, and resupply ammunition.
Resupply Circles are common to all players. There can be several vehicles in a Resupply Circle simultaneously.
A Resupply Circle is temporarily unavailable in one of the following cases:
After a battle, you are charged the full cost of the restored vehicle hit points, but no more than 100% of the vehicle’s durability. This rule is applied to destroyed vehicles as well.
You used a Resupply Circle three times during a battle and restored 20% of your vehicle hit points each time. Therefore, you restored 60% of your vehicle HP and paid for it.
Your ally restored 60% of their vehicle hit points twice. However, they paid for 100% of hit points, instead of 120%. Thus, repairs over the vehicle’s full durability are free of charge.
You are charged for all shells spent in battle. In this case, if the number of spent shells exceeds the ammo rack capacity, the cost of additional shells is deducted from your battle income.
The ammo rack capacity of the LT-432 is 50 shells. Fighting in this tank, you resupplied ammunition in Resupply Circles and spent 70 shells total. The cost of 20 shells is deducted from your battle income, and the cost of the remaining 50 shells is charged during repairs.
Economy Features
Since the rules for Frontline battles differ from those for Random Battles, the economy of the mode has its own features as well:
All the rules mentioned above apply only if you fight for your team until the end of the battle. If you leave the battle before it is over, additional bonuses for credits and experience are not applied, and the cost of all repairs is charged in full.
In case of technical issues, you have 5 minutes to return to the battlefield and get all additional payments based on battle results.
Progression in Frontline
Frontline features a system of six ranks. You start a battle as a Private and progress through ranks during the combat. The rank progression depends on the amount of earned experience that, in turn, depends on your efficient actions (capturing or defending bases, destroying main objectives). The total experience earned across all vehicles you used in the battle is counted.
The more experience you earn, the higher your rank becomes. The final rank at the end of the battle provides you with Frontline Experience and a bonus to Combat Experience. This bonus is applied to the total base experience earned across all vehicles you used in the battle.
Private | Sergeant | Lieutenant | Captain | Major | General | |
Frontline Experience | 0 | 150 | 350 | 600 | 900 | 1,200 |
Bonus to Combat Experience | 0 | +10% | +25% | +50% | +100% | +200% |
Earning Frontline Experience allows you to reach higher Tiers. There are 15 Tiers in Frontline. Reaching each new Tier brings you rewards.

Battle Pass Points and Other Rewards
Fighting in Frontline, you earn various rewards not only for reaching new Tiers, but also for your battle performance.
Battle Pass Points
Just like in other modes, the number of Battle Pass Points that you can earn in Frontline depends on the battle results and your rank in team results by XP earned.
Besides earning Points for battle results, you also receive 20 Battle Pass Points for reaching each Frontline Tier.
Points received in Frontline do not affect the Point Limit of a vehicle. You can earn Battle Pass Points in Frontline even after the Point Limit is reached.
Rewards for Frontline Tiers
In addition to Battle Pass Points, you are also awarded directives, Combat Reserve Points, and Retraining Orders for increasing your Frontline Tier.
Directives
In Frontline, you can get the following directives:

Обзор World of Tanks Generals
Wargaming.net Portal Improvements
Please note that there will be a maintenance on the portal for this update at 00:01 PDT (03:00 EDT) on May 21, 2013 and will last for approximately five hours.
Clan Wars will be «frozen» for 24 hours at the start of this update, 00:01 PDT (03:01 EDT) on May 21, 2013 to 00:01 PDT (03:01 EDT) on May 22, 2013.
We are pleased to announce that the Wargaming.net portal will be expanding soon. One significant change that will take place in this expansion is that the Account Management for players will be moved from the World of Tanks portal to the Wargaming.net portal. Here’s a summary of changes that will occur on the World of Tanks portal:
With the release of this Wargaming.net portal, we take a step forward in the development of a unified service. This Wargaming.net service will be the best way to support gaming in the Wargaming universe, bringing World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and World of Warships to one easily accessible location.
New Player Profiles
In addition to the authentication features, players will now have the ability to see detailed information right here on the web. Achievements, Kill/Death Ratio, vehicle types, and many other statistics will now be readily available for everyone to see. Here’s a couple of screenshots to give you an idea on how this will look on your player profile.
No, we are not merging or changing accounts at all. You’ll continue using your account for World of Tanks as normal. The Wargaming.net portal is intended to become a one-stop-shop for all Wargaming account management. All accounts are still server/region bound.
It doesn’t affect your game statistics at all. We are not changing your World of Tanks account. We are launching a Wargaming.net portal to provide you with a single place to manage your Wargaming.net account.
No, it doesn’t affect your game resources and achievements at all. We’re simply adjusting the login system for the portal.
Introducing the New Clan Portal
Our developers are proud to introduce the New Clan Portal where all clan info and tools will be available in one place.
The New Portal is characterized by a new eye-catching design, which combines all the clan features:
This platform was designed specifically to provide everything needed in the everyday life of a clan and will be updated on a regular basis.
From now on, a single clan will be active in all Wargaming MMO titles, just as is the case with Premium Account and gold. This means that you’ll have the same clan tag and name, Military Personnel and Clan Treasure for each game in the Wargaming universe.
This means that you can find some upgrades in the ‘Recruiting Station,’ particularly in the ‘Personal File’ and ‘Terms of Recruiting’ sections. From now on you can choose in which game you’d like to join or create a clan, or find new members. You can mark one or multiple games.
Right now we’re introducing the first version of the Clan Portal. However, in the near future, we’re planning to update it with additional features, such as:
Important: Starting from the release date, from 11 to 30 November, you’ll be able to upload or change your clan emblem for free.
This is only the beginning! Our goal is to create a convenient and useful platform that will provide rapid access to all relevant information about Clans and help you on your way to victory!
Stay tuned for updates!
Open the doors to a world of new opportunities for your clans, Commanders!

Wargaming
Frontline
In This Section
Frontline is one of the most exciting modes in World of Tanks. You can fight in Frontline using Tier VIII vehicles. Join massive 30×30 battles to use Combat Reserves, try out respawn mechanics, and take advantage of Resupply Circles!
Kick-off
There will be several launches of Frontline in 2022. Between these launches, Frontline will be closed.
After the start of each launch, from 02:00 until 04:00 (UTC), you will not be able to join battles in Frontline.
Standard base capture mechanics apply: once the attacking vehicles enter the circle, the front begins being captured. When the attackers capture a base, they take control of the entire zone, and the next zone (vertically) becomes available for capture.

Light Tanks | |||
Medium Tanks | |||
Heavy Tanks | |||
Tank Destroyers | |||

We are transferring players to the Wargaming.net Game Center and building a unified infrastructure for all projects in the Wargaming.net universe. The transition will affect all games, and the next step for all tankers is transferring all Common Test participants to the Game Center.
The Common Test will only be available through the Wargaming.net Game Center. The Common Test launcher will be updated on launch, then all installed games will be imported into the Game Center, including the World of Tanks Common Test client. The will be no other way to launch the Common Test client.
The Common Test client can be accessed here:
What is the Wargaming.net Game Center ?
Questions & Answers
How do I select a WoT server before entering the Garage?
In the client settings, enable the «Display server selection upon game launch» option.
Can I add the game to the Game Center without downloading it again?
Yes, you can. Game Center can import installed games. Go to the All Games tab, click Import Installed Games and select the path to the games you want to import.
Does the Game Center use more resources than the launcher?
The Game Center uses fewer resources by default compared to the launcher. If you want to speed up the installation process, you may enable the «Use all computer resources during installation» option. This will allow the Game Center to use up resources that may be in use by other processes, which may lead to a decrease in their performance. But the games will be installed and updated faster. At the same time, if there are no heavy processes in the system, the installation will take the same amount of time in both cases.
When a game is launched from Game Center, it stops checking for updates and notifications. The CPU load is negligible (
0%). Network load is also zero.
Why are there so many banners in Game Center?
The Game Center keeps you up-to-date with the current news and the best deals in the Wargaming.net universe. Having all the relevant information in one place is convenient and saves time.
Will Game Center use my personal data?
The Game Center only stores your username, email address, and token—a temporary unique user identifier.
Can I switch accounts without entering login data every time?
Yes, you can. You can even switch between accounts for different projects and clusters. For example, you will be able to use accounts from different regions for WoT.
Why doesn’t Game Center close automatically after the game launches? Will it be implemented in the future?
The Game Center does not close because it automatically updates game data and user account data.
Can I install game clients of different regions (CIS, EU)?
Is Game Center compatible with Mac?
Not yet, but we plan to add support in the future.
Previously, I had an issue with the Game Center where the app didn’t unload from memory after the game was launched. It affected performance on my low-end PC. Was the issue solved?
Yes, the issue was solved and you should no longer encounter it. If your PC stutters during the game update, check if the «Use all computer resources during installation» option is enabled. If the performance is still very poor, you can enable the «Exit Game Center when I close the main window» option.
Is there a difference in internet traffic consumption between the game launcher and the Game Center?
There is no significant difference: nothing is downloaded or uploaded additionally. Moreover, you can set up an update schedule in the app settings, which will restrict the automatic update download time. You can also restrict the download speed, but the updates will take longer to download.

World of Tanks Generals
Wargaming.Net
Wargaming.
Net обязана одному проекту – World of Tanks.

Cobra —
