A brief description of the manhua Global Martial Arts:

The martial arts master’s path begins with rebirth and it’s only the beginning of the peak…

It’s VEEEEEEEEERY mediocre. You could try it when you have completely nothing better to do, but it’s nothing worth staying for.

The art is barely passable, with no dynamic poses … you can see the author at least tries, but nothing good comes out of it.
Translation is bad.
The story seems forced and bland.
Everybody kills one another without any remorse or repercussions, be it a murder, thief or your classmate you’re having a sparing with.
Everyone seems to be delusional idiots.

The 4.6 rating is a complete mistake. It’s more like 5/10, mayby 6/10 at best.
Yeah, I think 2.5 to 3.0 is an adequate evaluation of this manhua.

The Dragon Ball manga series, written by Akira Toriyama and first published in 1984, centres around protagonist Son Goku. As a Saiyan who was raised on Earth, Goku’s martial arts training and his drive to never give up have led him to save people many times from brutal enemies and the destruction of the planet.

And it’s that strength and determination that has cemented his standing as a true hero.

One of Goku’s special skills that really symbolises his character is the Spirit Bomb. The Spirit Bomb, which allows all living things on Earth to be energised little by little, is more powerful than the strength of a single person – and this joining of forces offers a valuable lesson about strength in unity.

Dragon Ball Legends brings the original story to life once more as players get to move their own characters, all of whom have skills and outfits from the manga series. Enjoy battles with other players from around the world and, of course, have a go at firing the Spirit Bomb as Goku.

Toshi, a producer of Dragon Ball Legends, says it was important to get things right when making a game based on such a beloved story.

“First of all, the fans of Dragon Ball are given the top priority and we always keep in mind that we want them to be happy. We strive to operate the system simultaneously around the world to ensure equality among our global users. With regard to the modelling of characters, we take special care not to deviate from the original representation in detail, ranging from model graphics, 3D models and motion-to-motion dialogue.”

Some characters have even been given abilities that will really please fans of the original. For example, how will Chi Chi’s capabilities change when she competes with Goku? It’s those relationships between characters that really enhance the battle experience.

A new character

Dragon Ball Legends features a new character drawn by the author, Akira Toriyama, called Shallot. A Saiyan like Goku, Shallot appears on Earth having lost his memory and meets Goku and his longtime ally Bulma – an encounter which develops into a game-only original story.

Shallot grows through battles and when stories of certain chapters are cleared, he will eventually acquire the power to become a Super Saiyan God – something that’s only possible for a right-minded Saiyan.

Describing Shallot’s unique characteristics, Toshi says: “Basically, characters belong to five attributes, such as RED and GRN, each of which has favourable and unfavourable attributes. Shallot has LGT attributes that are out of the framework so that they can be used in any position of the main scenario.”

Firing a Kamehameha wave

By raising the friendship ranks of other characters, you can teach Shallot new skills. For example, Shallot will also be able to fire Goku’s Kamehameha wave.

Fun game but.

This game is really fun I’m glad I got it on launch day but for some reason after I logged off and came back my account data was gone🥲😓😞

Good game! But…

I’ve been playing Strongest Hero for a while now and I’ve generally liked the experience. It’s a pretty fun game to play and actually really good compared to any other “official anime games” out there. It feels pretty good overall and keeps you engaged. I quite enjoy this RPG. It brings in a lot of elements such as story, free play, PvP and co op. The gameplay options themselves vary lengths and difficulties which I find quite nice.

Now I do have a few critiques.
— the first thing I don’t like about this game is the stamina. I understand the need for it, however there should be more stamina given to the player. Better yet, a higher stamina amount as a max. You are able to exceed that max, but when you open the game in the morning, you start with 160 stamina. Because pretty much all solo operations require about 20-25 stamina each. When you need food, cash and shards to help upgrade the heros, you can’t exactly do too much without more stamina.
— secondly I have a problem with the PvP. Basically, when your opponent starts using a bunch of moves, you’re completely bombarded. After you use your flash, you’re stuck if they are able to get you in another combo mash. You drop incredibly fast and there’s nothing you can do about it for another three minutes.
— one of my biggest beefs is the hero trials. Hero trials, if you haven’t played, is basically a challenge you can do to obtain hero shards. Those are used to up your battle power (bp) and rank up your hero’s. So far there are ones for Deku, Chargebolt, Red Riot, Uravity, Tenya and Froppy. Those are the only hero’s you can get shards for. This makes ranking up hero’s incredibly difficult if you have one like Shoto, Dynamite, Eraser head and so on so forth. Of course, using recruits can help get repeats of those characters at max 100 tries.
— lastly, the recruiting system. This one will be short. When recruiting the pity system has an allocated amount of attempts before it automatically gives you a hero. 10 for B rank, 30 for A and 100 for S. basically, after recruiting Shoto on a lucky hit, I recruited for 100 more times which took me a week to get through. After those 100 I obtained another Shoto. Literally crushing that there’s no buffer or chance reduction for each hero you’ve already obtained on A and S ranked.

Now for the Devs, if you’re reading this here are a few suggestions for a new update I think you should add.

1: make a hero unlock based system for hero trials. If you obtain a hero, ie. Shoto, the player should unlock a hero trial for that character. In order to have access to it, the player must use that character to pass a timed battle against foax villains. Apon passing, they have access to that hero trial.
2: create a slightly reduced chance to obtain a previously obtained character in both S and A rankings.
3: update/revamp the PvP system.

This game is fun and all except the PVP.

I’ve run into several games where the other player Ddosses the match and wins. I can’t do anything and I’m stuck in a loading screen while he just goes ham on my characters. Until he wins I’m stuck in this loading screen. Please make it so we know who we fight against after the match so we may report them.
