Abu Dhabi to host BLAST Premier World Final 2022
The world’s eight best Counter-Strike teams will meet in Abu Dhabi in December for BLAST Premier’s biggest event of the year. The annual tournament, held in partnership with ADGaming, will take place at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena in front of a live audience, with this year’s edition running between 14th-18th December.
Tickets to the World Final will be announced at a later date.
BLAST has teamed with ADGaming to bring its prestigious global esports tournament, the BLAST Premier World Final, for the first time to Abu Dhabi later this year as part of a three-year partnership, which hopes to set the esports world alight in the Middle East.

The World Final will be the seventh and last event of the BLAST Premier tournament series and is the culmination of the 2022 global CS:GO calendar. Split across two seasons, BLAST Premier offers a place in the World Final for teams who triumph in the Spring and Fall Seasons, as well as the top four teams on the ‘Race to the World Final Leaderboard’. The line-up will be completed with the winners of ESL Season 16 and the ESL Rio Major.
FaZe Clan was the first team to book their ticket to Abu Dhabi after triumphing in the ESL Pro League Season 15 and winning the PGL Antwerp Major, while NAVI were the latest to qualify having won the Spring Final in Lisbon this month.
With the UAE capital named as the new host city, the announcement aligns with BLAST’s on-going commitment to reaching new audiences and delivering incredible esports experiences in state-of-the-art arenas for both teams and spectators.

Вице-чемпионы этого турнира тоже начали неплохо. В четвертьфинале они победили команду Team Liquid со счетом 2:0. Потом у Team Vitality была серьезная встреча в полуфинале с Astralis (в первый раз), а затем встреча с NAVI, отправившая команду в нижнюю сетку. BLAST Premier dates and format revealed for 2022
BLAST Premier will be returning for the tournament series’ third instalment this year and will see 318 hours of world class Counter-Strike played across seven events in 2022.
The tournament series will be the first and last major CS:GO event for fans to sink their teeth into this year, where no team will be required to play more than one Bo3 match in a day.
Taking place from January to December, BLAST Premier will unite all major tournaments, offer opportunities to the underdogs of the scene and be open to a wide variety of regions – while looking to crown the champions of Counter-Strike, with all roads leading to the World Final at the end of the year.
The format and structure remains largely the same with the biggest changes affecting the Groups and Showdowns. The Showdowns will be split into two regions (Europe and North America/Rest of the World) and be played online – giving more teams and territories a chance to compete in BLAST Premier events than in previous years. 
BLAST Premier’s Qualifier Series will return in 2022, giving teams from all over the world, no matter how big or small a chance to compete for a spot in the regional Showdown events. 
The Groups will see some format changes. Teams will initially play in three groups of four, in a Bo1 Double Elimination group stage to set their place in a group stage gauntlet. The winners of the gauntlet will qualify for Finals, second and third place in the gauntlet will battle it out in a last-chance match to decide the remaining three teams who will progress to the Finals.
BLAST Premier 2022 schedule:
The ‘Race to the World Final Leaderboard’ will return as the qualifying mechanism for the World Final and points scoring system for competing Counter-Strike teams in leading tournaments around the globe. Teams with the best six scores from each tournament earn points by winning matches and progressing as far as possible in these selected events. At least two teams will qualify for the World Final via the leaderboard due to their performances across the calendar year, while the remaining six places will be made up of winners from: Spring and Fall Final, ESL Season 15 and 16, IEM Cologne and the Major.
Andrew Haworth, Commissioner for BLAST Premier, said: “The last two years of BLAST Premier has provided fans with countless brilliant storylines, an exceptional standard of Counter-Strike and industry-leading production – we’re delighted to be back for a third year with some new adjustments to keep raising the bar higher.
“With our expanded qualifier series and split regional Spring and Fall Showdowns we’ll be able to offer more teams than ever before an opportunity to compete in BLAST Premier events and the chance to feature in one of our three arena events – the BLAST Premier Fall and Spring Finals and World Final. We’ve also listened to teams on scheduling and limited their gameplay to only one Bo3 per day.”

NAVI qualify for BLAST Premier World Final
The Ukrainian-Russian squad become the second team to reach the million-dollar competition.
Denis «electroNic» Sharipov’s side join ESL Pro League Season 15 winners FaZe in the list of teams that have already clinched their spot, and will ultimately be looking to defend their title from last year’s iteration of the tournament.
Half of the six remaining spots will be filled by the winners of the upcoming BLAST Fall Final, ESL Pro League Season 16, and IEM Rio. The BLAST World Final Leaderboard will determine the final three teams based on the points they garnered throughout the year.
After 2021’s competition was held behind closed doors due to a resurgence in the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s BLAST World Final’s location and venue is yet to be revealed.

Blast Premier World Final 2021
The Blast Premier World Final 2021 marked the last big CS:GO tournament of the year. The tournament had a prize pool of one million dollars and had eight of the best teams in the world attending.
The Blast Premier Fall Final took place with a live audience in November. The fans made the tournament atmosphere feel ten times better and reminded us how important fans are for Esports.
Unfortunately for the fans, no live audience was permitted at the Blast Premier World Final. This time the event took place in the Blast studio. Blast made this decision due to the rapid increase of Covid-19 cases.
NAVI confirm their status as the best team of 2021
The CIS super team proved once again why they are the best team in the world. Natus Vincere has won every LAN tournament they had played with this roster and the Blast Premier World Final was no different.
However, their tournament start was far from great. Team Liquid was able to defeat the major champions 2-1 in the first series of the tournament. Some people thought this was the tournament where NAVI would finally be defeated on LAN.
Team Liquid was able to prove that NAVI bleeds but that was it. In the lower bracket where your tournament life is at stake in every series you play, the CIS team came through. Defeating some of the best teams in the world like: Heroic, G2 Esports, a rematch with Team Liquid, and Vitaly, securing their place in the Grand final.
In the Grand final, Navi reversed sweep Gambit Esports to claim another title. With this win, the team continues their streak of winning every LAN they have attended with this roster. They also claimed their ninth title of the year. All this shows they are head and shoulders above anyone else right now.
S1mple also secured another MVP award. The super-star player received eight MVP awards this year, and as the Best player of 2021 award gift-wrapped for him.
This event marks the culmination of a great year for CS:GO. Despite many having labeled the game as a dead one. The CS:GO community proved they are alive and well, and we can expect more great tournaments in 2022. Hopefully fans are able to attend the events.

Далее команды переместились на карту Inferno, которая оказалась выбором G2. Тем не менее, NAVI показала достаточно крепкую игру в защите, сумев получить неплохое преимущество перед сменой сторон. Однако вторая половина началась с полного доминирования игроков G2, которые быстро перехватили инициативу на сервере, сумев вырваться вперед. Early birds have already been putting together their rosters for the game, and there are some predictable names rising to the top as the most picked players. На BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 не будет зрителей
Организаторы BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 по CS:GO объявили, что на турнире не будет зрителей, однако соревнования пройдут в формате LAN-турнира.
Турнир состоится в Копенгагене, с соблюдением всех ограничений и мер предосторожности, связанных с пандемией COVID-19. Однако организаторы турнира отметили, что продолжат наблюдать за ситуацией в мире, чтобы оперативно адаптироваться к потенциальным новым рекомендациям властей, добавляя поправки в проведение крупного чемпионата.
BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 пройдет с 14 по 19 декабря. Восемь команд разыграют между собой миллион долларов. Две из них заняли организации-победители финалов BLAST Premier(Gambit,NAVI), а также 13 сезона ESL Pro League(Heroic). Остальные пять команд отобрались с квалификаций.
Таким образом, на BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 будут выступать следующие команды:
Напоминаем, что ранее Natus Vincere обыграла Team Vitality на BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 по CS:GO и стала чемпионом турнира. Противостояние команд в гранд-финале завершилось со счётом 2:1 (16:12 на Mirage, 6:16 на Nuke и 16:7 на Inferno). За победу на турнире NaVi суммарно заработала 225 тысяч долларов.
