Synopsis [ ]
Lim Haegyung has a strange jinx. Whenever he is kissed or kisses someone, something bad follows. All the boyfriends involved with him in a kiss either break up with him or he ends up getting caught in some other mess. He meets Jung Wook, who goes in the same office as him, and they become lovers. Even though Jung Wook understands Haegyung’s situation, Haegyung ends up initiating a kiss accidentally. Because of his jinx, Haegyung ends up in a whole new chaotic situation wherein he meets the guy responsible for his jinx. Lim Haegyung blames Kang Woojin, a guy from his past, for his jinx. Broke and helpless, Haegyung is offered a place in the same apartment as him. As the story unfolds, the past between them is revealed.

He suffers from a strange jinx; whenever he is involved in a kiss with someone, something bad follows. Initially, Haegyung is shown dating his office manager, Jung Wook. Haegyung appears to be in love with his boss at work as his jinx is understood and he is never forced to kiss. However, things soon go downhill when Haegyung accidentally kisses him. With a strange turn of events, Haegyung ends up in the same house as Kang Woojin, whom he has not seen for eight years. It is later revealed that Haegyung had actually been avoiding him. When Woojin starts messing with him again Haegyung takes none of it and just wants to move out of the house, but then he realizes that he is broke.
Lim Haegyung in high school
Haegyung was gay although this was hidden from his family and friends. He came from a simple family. Haegyung met Kang Woojin through his little brother, Lim Haejoon. He is also shown having a boyfriend when he was in high school, although after unexpected turn of events, he somehow ends up with Woojin, who was three years younger than him. They were involved in an informal relationship for some years. Woojin always irritated Haegyung by messing around with him, but somehow he still starts developing feelings for Woojin. At some point, Haegyung also realizes that Kang Woojin would never let him go. The incident causing the jinx forced Haegyung to move, leaving Woojin behind.
Haegyung was always smart, and was considered to be good looking. He has blond hair, golden eyes and a slim build. He used to wear spectacles in the past. He blushes very easily.
Kang Woojin [ ]
He was already living in Seohyun’s house before Haegyung was invited to move in there. Woojin appears to have caused Haegyung’s jinx. Happy to Haegyung once again, Woojin asks if he is happy to see him but receives a cold response. Woojin appears to have a cheerful personality in general. He has a unique way of laughing and staying cool under most circumstances, however his cool dropped whenever Haegyung was involved, whether it was Haegyung avoiding him on purpose or it was people causing Haegyung trouble.
He is three years younger than Haegyung and met him when he was young. Woojin was the son of a member of National Assembly whose name was Kang Yeongjoo. His father was a famous lawmaker, and because of him Woojin was involved in several controversies as well. Rumors were around that his family paid his school to cover up everything Woojin was in trouble for. He was also gaming friends with Haegyung’s brother, Lim Haejoon. Woojin had been coming to his house for three years when he first spoke to Haegyung. It was when he discovered that Haegyung and his boyfriend were doing something lewd in Haegyung’s room. With each passing day after that, he grew to like Haegyung even more. They were involved in an informal relationship until Woojin became a high school student and Haegyung started going to college. This was all before the jinx started and Haegyung started avoiding Woojin for eight years to come. Woojin knew and accepted the fact that Haegyung hated him. He also hated the fact that Haegyung had to live with a jinx and suffer for his entire life.
Kang Woojin is extremely handsome. He has aqua colored eyes and black hair. He used to wear black studs on his ears. He is tall and muscular. He addresses Haegyung as hyung.
Park Kihoon [ ]
Park Kihoon also lives in Seohyun’s house, but only until he graduates. On the day Haegyung ended up wasted at a bar after his break-up, it was Park Kihoon who carried him back on Seohyun’s orders. Kihoon makes it clear since day one how much he hates Haegyung. Haegyung allegedly kissed him when drunk (he forgot about the jinx) and also spat on him, calling him by his boyfriend’s (Jung Wook’s) name.
It is also hinted [1] that Park Kihoon used to be in a relationship with Seohyun (the owner of the house). However, when Seohyun tells Lim Joo (another roommate) that he already has a boyfriend, Lim Joo suspects whether its Kihoon he’s in a relationship with. Park Kihoon really likes Seohyun and asks Haegyung if his true intentions to move into the house was because he likes Seohyun. Another fight happens between Kihoon and Haegyung. He is also extremely famous, or infamous, at his school though the reason has not been revealed yet.
Kihoon attends the same university where Haegyung used to go. Apparently, Haegyung also appears to have been involved in some grand mess at this university, which Park Kihoon knows of.
Jung Seohyun [ ]
Jung Seohyun is the owner of the house in which he has invited 4 other members (including Haegyung) to move in. It is later revealed that it was Kang Woojin who had offered him this apartment after running away from his real home. [2] He was [3] his father’s love child and was never seen as a real son. He was kicked out of the house and made to live on his own when he was in 10th grade. He is possibly involved in a relationship [1] with Park Kihoon, but Haegyung also catches him kissing [4] another member of the house, Lim Joo. When Lim Joo asks him if he would be interested in sleeping together, Seohyun denies saying that he already has a boyfriend and is not the type to two-time. Lim Joo wonders whether that boyfriend is Park Kihoon. His ex lovers once ended up at the apartment and almost assaulted Haegyung making Woojin (the real owner of the house) very angry. [5]
He is considered as really cute at his university. He has grey hair and aqua colored eyes. He has small build and a short height, which Park Kihoon finds cute. He is really messy and doesn’t get himself involved in any of the house chores, especially cleaning. Haegyung also hears him masturbating in the middle of the day, playing really loud music to hide his moans. Seohyun likes Haegyung as a roommate and doesn’t want him to move out.

All his relationships either end up in breakups or he gets pulled into something worse. After accidentally kissing his current boyfriend, Jung Wook, Haegyung suddenly discovers the next day that Jung is already engaged to his company’s president’s daughter. Overcome with grief and anger, he ends up in a bar where he meets Seohyun Jung and Park Kihoon. In a drunken state, Haegyung kisses and spits on Park Kihoon. Broke and homeless, Seohyun offers him a room at his place. He ends up living with Kang Woojin, Park Kihoon, Jung Seuhyun, and Lim Joo.

[7] Haegyung’s relationship with Park Kihoon gets a nasty start and both are on pretty bad terms with each other. Kang Woojin, on the other hand, is extremely surprised (and happy?) to find Haegyung suddenly, although Haegyung isn’t all too happy to see him. As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Kang Woojin and Lim haegyung share a past. Although Haegyung never directly blames him, it is subtly revealed that Woojin had caused Haegyung’s jinx.
