We love to encourage the modding community of this game to flourish, and as one of the only stage tutorial videos is now 5 years old, a few members of the development team took it upon themselves to explain everything that can be done to mod a level in Sonic World and Sonic World DX.
This livestream is split into chapters, so you can view the specific areas you need to know, and skip the chapters that aren’t relevant to you.
Some aspects are futureproofed (Sound Modding, Object Stamping) for Version 1, but we clarify alternatives for versions currently available.

Sonic World has hundreds of level mods. How are we to tell what Sonic levels have been covered by modders?
To fulfill this purpose, we have brought back the Recreations list from the dead! This lists almost every zone in sonic, marking ones that are complete in bold. This time, list entries that have mods provide direct downloads to the stage.
This is useful for those content creators looking to make videos covering 3D adaptations of Sonic games AND for those stage modders who might need ideas on what has or hasn’t been done before.
I hope this makes it easier for a lot of people to find the stage mods they need.

As developers, we like going back and improving things already made. For Version 1: we revamped Emerald Coast and its encore entirely. This gives a glimpse of what’s in store, including collapsing bridges, a more innovative encore and more Type paths.
For those who prefer the original, don’t feel left out. It will remain as the second mission as a time attack.
And yes, enemies no longer rotate upon death, we heard a wide variety of thoughts on it and have corrected this.
The next video shouldn’t take as long to come out, and will announce a highly anticipated addition.

NEW VIDEO! Sonic World DX – Lap Mission
A new type of mission that allow a whole new range of stages. Race x amount of laps to complete the mission. This is shown off in a brand new mission of Test Stage and Seaside Hill, showing off the new features of this mission.
Sonic World DX – Endless Modding Possibilities!
In order to show off the modding potential of Sonic World DX compared to the original, we have made a faithful recreation of Bob-Omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64.
This showcases a brand new mission type: Collectathon, where you have to obtain a certain number of collectibles to win!
In order to add the 8 Red Coins, we have added Moonrings! These can be set on a timer and can unlock rewards such as switches!
Related to switches, they can now toggle specific meshes. Add a switch appear attribute and assign it to a switch and it can act like a gate or appearing platforms!
A feature that wasn’t mentioned in the video for time is switch meshes! You can toggle the visibility and collision of a mesh using a switch, causing even more stage possibilities, such as opening a gate or causing a platform to appear. pic.twitter.com/X2AFYX6DfI
This will release as a Day 1 mod in order to show the potential of DX. As a companion piece, Odyssey Mario will also appear, with a 64 skin.
Even better, Adventure Sonic will join them, with both their DX and Dreamcast incarnations, containing ripped animations!
We’re pushing Sonic World to be more and more as the Modders’ Sonic game, and hope these additions and examples can help convey how accurate we can be.

HAVING SAVE ISSUES?
Memory Access Violation?
Memory Access Violation is a general error message in the Blitz3D engine. There are many causes, making it near-unfixable. Some common causes are solvable though.
If you have Win 10, it could be a hardware issue and all you need to do is right click the Sonic World.exe, select Properties, under the Compatibility tab, and make the exe run under Win 8 or below.
Compatibility issues could be it!
Memory Access Violation on start-up:
This means either your save is corrupted or that you are missing files. If all files are present, make sure the game is unarchived (do not run this game through 7zip or WinRAR!) If it is a save issue, you will need to move/delete your save file (refer to “Having Save Issues?”)
Memory Access Violation randomly during gameplay:
These ones are more unpredictable. If playing the game for long periods of time, the engine may leak memory, which makes the game unstable and crash. These crashes are less likely if you apply the 4gb patch from the FAQ video. If interface starts messing up, it will likely MAV and it is best to restart your game to minimise this.
If there is a consistent pattern, e.g. if a mod character is attacking, the mod character is missing some bone or parameter and is the fault of the mod, not the game.
Memory Access Violation on the Character Select:
If you are highlighting a mod character and it crashes, this means the mod characters model has not been set properly. Either you edited the mod’s character.xml instead of the xml in the characters folder, or the b3d file listed under the mod’s character.xml does not exist.
Make sure the b3d file listed under the xml’s model, smodel and hmodel tabs all exist in the mod folders model folder. if it does and it still gives the MAV error, there is a typo or syntax error in the xml.
Putting the wrong mod folder name is not the cause for this error, it will not crash, but just leave a message saying that the mod character cannot be found.
Memory Access Violation on the Stage Loading Screen:
It is recommended to have debug mode on to tell where exactly it crashes on loading.
If it crashes when loading a mesh file, either the file does not exist or it is corrupted/too high poly. If it has additional parameters like scrolling/flashing, there may also be a typo there.
If it crashes on “Loading Player Models”, the mod may have missing bones or an incorrect super and/or hyper form.
Though not a Memory Access Violation error, “Error while parsing Stage.xml” means that the stage’s xml has a syntax error. Look through the xml carefully and spot if anything is out of place.
CAMERA CONSTANTLY SPINNING?
A LOT of people had this issue, so if you get a spinning camera glitch, you probably have more than one controller driver installed. The game detects another port being used, so disable the unused port. Because SW detects that and the game thinks the port is being used.
So disable that controller driver!
Another thing that might be the cause is the mouse. Try switching out your mouse for another. Don’t switch your mouse to another port, change the mouse itself. Certain mouses don’t work.
E.g. The red Drafonnor black web mice doesn’t work but the normal Acer mouse did.
Non-XBox Controllers
If you are using a non-XBox controller (Nintendo Switch, Dualshock 4), there may be a different cause to the spinning camera.
Blitz3D only supports DirectInput (Dinput). This means that any controller that contains a gyro will be read as an input. As the gyros often match the Dinput code of the Xbox right stick, it is read as an input, even when at rest!
A way to circumvent this is using a controller wrapper to make your controller behave like an Xbox controller and disable the gyro:
Disable Steam while using these wrappers as Steam’s own input system may cause these to not work.
If you’re using an Xbox controller, wrappers are not a problem and the above should be checked.

“If you are making a character mod, the model has to have bones named the following: head, spine, armR, armL, handR, handL, footR, footL, toeR, toeL. And if you’re using ori6, also scanner.”
How to Install:
1. Download the Mod(s).
2. Put the character folder mod in”Sonic World\Mods\Characters” Folder
3. Open The Characters.xml in the mods\characters folder with notepad (or any text editing program that supports xml)
4. From the text “folder=”ori”” Replace “ori” with the mod folder’s name (For example “Remastered Sonic”) so it should look like this: http://puu.sh/ryNK7.png
5. Save the xml, open up sonic world (make sure mods are enabled in options) and play!
DX SAGE 2020 Demo
The new character modding system is not yet added to SWDX because of time constraints, and uses a temporary system instead.
The required bones are the same and listed in the mod documentation included. If it is not included, you do not have the SAGE 2020 demo.

Instead of going fast as most other entries in the series, Lost World slowed things almost to a crawl, turning the game in something very different from what we’re used to. And we’re used to a lot of changes… poor Sonic fans are still waiting for a proper sequel to Sonic Generations.
While there’s very little that can make the game feel like the previous entries, things are very different on PC where a few modifications can back the spark that Lost World seems to have changed so much.
But which mods are really going to make a difference? Let’s find out.
10. Quick Boot
Sonic is all about going fast. And Sonic Lost World doesn’t get any faster than with the Quick Boot mod installed.
This simple mod makes it possible to boot directly into a stage, without any sort of wait time.
If you want to boot into something else, you can also configure the mod to do that too. So no matter where you want to go in the game, you can go as quickly as Sonic does when he speeds down Windy Hill zone. Or maybe even more, given the game’s slower pace.
9. Windy Valley
Windy Valley is among the funniest stages ever seen in the Sonic series. But it hasn’t seen the same amount of love that other Sonic Adventure stages have seen over the years.
Thankfully, modders are here to right all wrongs.
Windy Valley is still a custom stage in beta, so it isn’t as polished as the vanilla Sonic Lost World stages are. But it is definitely well done, as it not only recreates what made the original stage so fun, but it also tweaks item placements so things just feel smoother.
8. Nintendo Switch UI
If you love the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, I salute you. I love it quite a bit myself!
But the controller is not as used as the DualShock 4 or the Xbox controllers, developers aren’t particularly interested in adding the correct button prompts for the Switch controller.
But this hasn’t stopped a modder from introducing them in Sonic Lost World with this mod.
No more wrong button presses and unfair deaths, folks.
7. Forces Sonic
Let’s be honest: Sonic Forces wasn’t a particularly good game on consoles.
But it’s undeniable that Sonic never looked as good as in that game.
The Forces Sonic skin gives us the character model from the latest entry in the Sonic series, bringing that into Sonic Lost World. Plus some proper Super Sonic music and other adjustments that make the skin feel almost official.
Such is the power of the Chaos Emeralds.
6. Cap Kingdom
A Super Mario stage into a Sonic game? What sorcery is this?
Sorcery is not at work here. Just a brave modder who doesn’t believe in keeping the two most popular game franchises separated!
This Cap Kingdom mod brings the stage of the same name from Super Mario Odyssey into Sonic Lost World.
The results are impressive, to say the least. And despite some jank here and there, it’s a ton of fun. So don’t waste any time and let’s do the Odyssey together.
5. Classic Sonic
Sonic Lost World hardly feels like a classic Sonic game. But somehow, Classic Sonic looks right at home in Windy Valley.
And if you don’t believe me, just download this mod to see for yourself.
The model has been lifted straight from Sonic Generations, so it’s a high-quality mesh that will not disappoint any fan of the Blue Blur.
4. Altered Sonic Textures
Some improvements may be hard to spot.
Even more when we’re talking about the fastest hedgehog on this side of the universe.
Altered Sonic Textures brings some subtle changes to the Sonic model in Sonic Lost World that all look quite cool, such as some real improved coloring.
The changes may be hard to spot with the game in motion, but trust me: if you’ve played this series for years, you’ll notice.
3. Sonic Lost World Reshaded
Sonic Lost World has never looked better than with the Reshaded preset.
This preset, which can be toggled on and off on-the-fly at any time during the game, sharpens the graphics considerably. But that’s not all with this reshade.
It also improves all colors, lighting, and a few other visual settings. The improvements are subtle yet very noticeable, so I’m sure you’ll never go back to vanilla after downloading this preset.
2. FPS Change
Sonic Lost World isn’t a particularly demanding game.
But there are PCs out there that struggle to run the game constantly at 60FPS, resulting in all kinds of issues. And really, I say anyone should be able to play this title. Even on a 10-year-old desktop.
FPS Change is the perfect mod for those who play games on older machines, as it lets you set a different FPS lock, or even remove it altogether if you want to. This prevents issues from happening and makes the game playable with ease, even on some decrepit rigs.
1. Lost World Improvement Mod
All the mods in this list improve Sonic Lost World. And they’re all worth trying.
But none manage to achieve the quality of the Lost World Improvement Mod.
This brings some radical changes to the experience so that the game feels more like the previous entries in the Sonic series. How?
By altering Sonic’s speed and physics, updating the stages, the interface, and plenty more.
It’s a complete overhaul. And it’s an overhaul that every fan of the Blue Blur should experience at least once.
Transform and blast away!
That’s right, guys! I’ve remastered yet another one of my older mods, and this time, Autobot Sonic’s vehicle mode comes straight from Team Sonic Racing (with a hologram included so it looks like someone is driving him)! I had a blast working on this, and as a long-time fan of Transformers, I put a ton of effort into making this mod «more than meets the eye»! However, aside from the new vehicle mode, there are other changes that have been made.
Sonic doesn’t have his Energon Sword anymore, because now he’s got a rocket-powered roundhouse kick! He’s also bigger than any other mod I’ve ever made (that’s seen the light of day, anyway)! In fact, he’s actually now big enough to give the chao (and even Omochao) a ride! He can even transform in super form now (Side effects include, but are not limited to, vehicle mode homing attacks and sudden transformations in red/rainbow hoops)!
I, personally, am quite proud of how this turned out, but what do you guys think?

Этот список я составил после того, как осознал, что актуального списка с лучшими версиями игр про Соника на русском языке до этого момента не было. Изначально я планировал составлять список только для ПК, но затем мои амбиции взяли верх, поэтому я написал абсолютно всё.
Здесь не будет мобильных игр (кроме одной), Олимпийских игр и гоночных игр от Sumo Digital, так как с ними всё предельно очевидно.
Также здесь не будет образовательных игр, ибо вряд ли вам они нужны.
Ещё здесь не будет полностью собранных ромхаков, так как это будет считаться пиратством.
И напоследок, здесь не будет LEGO Dimensions — эмуляция этой игры предполагает пиратство абсолютно всех фигурок, многие из которых у вас вряд ли найдутся.
В данный момент Hidden Palace недоступен в Sonic 2 Absolute без меню разработчика. Разработчики хотят его переработать и спрятать в другое место. Boss Attack так же в данный момент недоступен.
Фанатский ремейк Sonic 2, разрабатываемый абсолютно с нуля. Обновляется практически всё. Новостей не было больше года, так что статус разработки неизвестен.
Разделы GameBanana с модами:
Добавлены 2 гибридных саундтрека по умолчанию. Было бы плюсом, не будь они второсортные.
Минусы:
— Оригинальные саундтреки по умолчанию заблокированы за прохождением игры за Эми, что означает два полноценных прохождения игры для их разблокировки. Руководство по их разблокировке прилагается.
Коллекция из ремейков всех вышеупомянутых игр на Retro Engine.
Выделена в отдельную секцию, так как она включает в себя игры выше, при этом имея свои нововведения.

Kega Fusion, конечно, хорош, но его как нетребовательный эмулятор превзошли, а точность у него не сказать что высокая.

Как такового сравнения версий игр с Master System и Game Gear тут не будет, так как они всё равно эмулируются через те же эмуляторы.

На самом-то деле неплохая игра. ares был выбран как эмулятор с наибольшей в данный момент точностью. В отличие от эмуляции 32X для Knuckles’ Chaotix, эмуляция Neo Geo Pocket Color через этот эмулятор не требует больших мощностей.
Надо ли оно вам — вопрос уже другой.
Выделен в отдельный заголовок из-за размера этого списка. В отличие от Sonic 3: A.I.R., актуального и часто обновляемого списка модов я не нашёл. Тут будет немного иная сортировка модов, нежели с остальными играми.
Чтобы вы не мучились с расстановкой приоритетов модов, я это сделал за вас:
Моды, которые однозначно рекомендуются к установке. Список не включает в себя моды текстур, кроме эффектов ударов Руж и Хаоса 0.
Моды, заменяющие текстуры в игре. Большинство из них не будут иметь описание, так как их название описывает их суть.
Превратят игру в шедевр 12/10 на кончиках пальцев. Двое из них заслуживают свои собственные статьи.
Всё остальное, так или иначе заслуживающее внимания. Моды, изменяющие физику персонажей, не совместимы друг с другом.
3D-animated nostalgia at its finest!
Buzz is the deuteragonist in Toy Story, Pixar’s first full-length film. He was also a protagonist in his own spin-off cartoon series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. While this is his Toy Story model, I based his moveset and animations on his Star Command version. His model comes from a Disney mobile game (I don’t remember which one), but his voice clips come from Disney Infinity.
McQueen is the protagonist in Cars, Pixar’s most underrated series. While not as well received as Toy Story or other Pixar franchises, Cars will always have a special place in my childhood. Out of the three of these, this was the first one I worked on, and both his model and voice clips come from the THQ Cars video game.
Wall-E is the protagonist in the Pixar movie of the same name. While not a big part of my childhood, I still do love the movie, and how it’s a robot love story that takes place in a far future dystopia. As for the mod itself, I really enjoyed making it, but considering the treads had no movement capabilities, it was a little harder to make some of the animations. I also couldn’t get the chest door (or even the solar panels) to open either, which is honestly a shame. What else is a shame is that I couldn’t find any proper voice clips, so I had to use audio from the Wall-E vignettes instead.

R9 Stages come to DX with a fresh coat of paint!
Before anyone says anything, I’m aware there is a complete R9 to DX port pack. However, that pack is simply a raw port of all the levels. This pack instead gives every mission that is not the main one a fresh coat of paint, changing mission types, giving levels textures from other unrepresented stages, and adding new Encore missions that heavily reinvent the experience.
The levels included in the pack are Wacky Workbench, Sky Sanctuary, Lost World, Green Forest, Final Rush, Seaside Hill, and Kingdom Waterfalls. Each level comes with three alternate missions, each representing another time of day, weather condition, or stage. Every stage’s Encore will either have you play the stage backwards, go through a new layout, or a new gimmick.
In the future, I will likely do more packs to port more stages, but they will be based upon game and likely only be half as big as this pack each. So, look forward to potentially more levels being brought over with a new experience.
Also, any modded objects in this stage are free to use for your own levels, so don’t worry about needing permission.
Note: If you only see one file available for download down below, you may need to check all the file sources to find the rest of the stages, they are individual downloads.

A new virus approaches.
By total coincidence, there’s this fictional virus in the IDW Sonic comics, and it’s referred to as the Metal Virus. Basically, it’s like being roboticized, but the patients are referred to as Zombots (zombie + robots), and anything organic that comes into physical contact with the Zombots will also get the Metal Virus. Eventually, Sonic got infected with the Metal Virus, and running it off is the only known «cure». This is pretty much what’s going on here, but it’s not all what you would expect.
As for creating the mod, I have to admit, it was pretty fun, but there were still some tough parts here and there. Making the peelout legs was probably the hardest part, considering I had never done it before. I also got some voice clips from Sonic Lost World and Sonic Forces, just to help the mod stand out a little more.

Rouge is a smart, sassy and seductive female bat. She is a treasure hunter who specializes in jewels, and she always gets what she wants. She might have a secret interest in Knuckles, since some things never change after all. She might appear to be ditsy at first blush, but she is a calculating realist who acts on her mercenary instincts. Rouge occasionally works for the government as a spy, but nevertheless, there is always something in for her own good. She is a strong-minded young woman, flirty and greedy, and fights dirty when facing a potentially superior opponent.

Cream is a sweet girl rabbit and a friend of the chao. She is inseparable from her chao friend, Cheese. She is very nurturing also towards Cheese’s brother, Chocola. She gives her best at anything she tries, and is always full of curiosity. She is polite, just, and follows manners. Her mother Vanilla the Rabbit is strict, but kind discipline has made Cream very kind. She is brave as well, usually not afraid to go out on an adventure. She is a bit naive however, and does not always see things right away since she is still very young. She loves making flower crowns.

Blaze is a pyrokinetic cat princess from another dimension who is the protector of the Sol Emeralds. She has helped Sonic in the past to abolish Eggman Nega’s plans. Blaze takes her job so seriously that she is not the best at making friends. She is calm, solemn, and level-headed as she conceals her true feelings. Blaze is often lacking in social skills, and comes off as shy. But the time she has spent with Sonic and Cream has helped her to discover the meaning of friendship. Blaze is also quite mannerly, probably due to her royal upbringing.

Silver is a hedgehog who has come from the future to change a ruined planet in his timeline. Although he was raised in such a world, he is an optimist and he is full of a strong sense of justice that motivates him to head to the past to correct the future. His psychokinetic abilities enable him to move things around by using just the power of his mind, a power considered second nature in his time. He also believes in standing up for those who cannot for themselves. Yet he is somewhat young and immature at times.

E-123 Omega was created as the last of Eggman’s E-100 Series robots, possibly inspired by the design of E-102 Gamma. Omega was designed by Eggman to prevent the release of Shadow. But being imprisoned infuriated Omega, and he abandoned his original programming to prove his power against all of Eggman’s machines. Since then, he teamed up with Rouge and Shadow, the people he trusts most. While Omega is largely emotionless since he is a robot, he is still capable of understanding those of others. He prefers to destroy anything that poses any kind of threat.

Espio is a chameleon who is a master of ninja arts. As a skilled ninja who thrives on danger, he uses stealth and speed to fool his enemies. His wariness and soulful character makes him a vital member of Chaotix Detective Agency. He is very serious, calm, wise and disciplined, but also opinionated and somewhat arrogant at times. He is usually eager to find danger to flex and polish his skills. He has very good deduction skills as well and can analyze the evil in an instant. He cares a lot for the well-being of his friends.

Charmy is a hyperactive bee who is one of the co-founders of Chaotix Detective Agency. He loves to play and can be seen buzzing around everywhere. Although he usually does not get angry, he uses his powerful stinger to attack enemies when provoked. Charmy would rather be playing around than work. He enjoys singing and similar childish goofs, while his team mates try to focus on the tasks. He is easily excitable and looks up to superior figures. His childish behavior can be annoying at times, but nonetheless, he is a valuable member of the agency.

Vector is a croc with attitude and the head honcho of Chaotix Detective Agency. Despite his scaly exterior and often aggressive manner, Vector has a kind heart deep down. While he may seem like he is only about the pay, he always helps those in need for free. He has a rough demeanor, and at times he is even downright rude, but he is quite a kind soul. He will always care for others and do nothing that will hurt them. He will not get involved with anything not right. He also intensely loves listening to music.

Big is a large cat with an endless care for his friends. He is carefree and laid-back. He likes to spend fun days with his best friend Froggy, and takes Froggy everywhere with him. However, he is rather a slow thinker and important things sometimes pass right through his mind. He is very loyal to his friends and reliable. He does not like worry and hurry, and prefers a relaxed life. He has a habit of losing Froggy. Big is amazed by a lot of things and is almost always upbeat, but he is still a great friend.

Marine is a hydro-kinetic adventurous raccoon from Blaze’s dimension. She was raised on an isolated island of which she eventually grew tired of. She would spend her days gazing upon the vast ocean surrounding her island, wondering what kinds of places and adventures her world had in store. Marine is rather giddy and so often acts before she thinks. She is relatively bossy and attention-seeking, and others occasionally find her a nuisance. She often tries to act tough and in control in front of others even when she herself is anxious. Her passion is to become a worthy captain.

Mighty is an armadillo that loves to travel and his dream is to journey the world. He is a gentle explorer and a caring pacifist, using his strength and fighting abilities only when there is no other option. A long time ago, he was captured by Doctor Eggman and he was imprisoned at his base. He met Sonic and Ray, and they escaped together. He was caught again later on, this time to be saved by Knuckles. He joined the Chaotix Detective Agency as they stopped Eggman’s robots. He later left the agency and went onto an adventure with Ray.

Ray is a flying squirrel with a rather quirky personality. A long time ago, he was captured by Doctor Eggman and was imprisoned at his base. He was very frightened, but Sonic came to rescue him and his new friend Mighty. He later developed a close friendship with Mighty. Mighty and Ray consider each other brothers and treat each other as such. Ray is slightly more fearful than Mighty, yet extraordinarily interested in super heroes. Ray was recently invited to a new adventure by Mighty.

Chaos is a mutated chao that has the power of the Master Emerald within him. Once he absorbs all seven Chaos Emeralds, he becomes the dreaded Perfect Chaos. Chaos was a very loving and gentle creature until Pachacamac and his soldiers tried to use the power of Chaos Emeralds to overcome their enemies. Eggman managed to track Chaos’ energy, bring him back to life, and get him to achieve his aggressive final form, which eventually backfired at him. Tikal is Chaos’ best friend, and they live joyfully with the chao in their realm.

Tikal is a pacifist echidna who in her youth lived in a period of war, where she opposed her father’s warmongering ways. During this time, she befriended the local chao and their guardian Chaos. When Chaos went on a destructive rampage after her father attempted to steal the sacred emeralds, Tikal stopped Chaos by sealing him inside the Master Emerald with her own spirit. 4000 years later, Tikal was released when Dr. Eggman planned to use Chaos to take over the world. She then aided Sonic and his allies. After Chaos was calmed, Tikal left with Chaos to live their lives in peace.

Fang, also known as Nack, is a jerboa who is a mischievous treasure hunter. He tries hard to be sneaky and cunning, although his overconfidence and overall naivety proves to be his biggest flaw. Bean is hyperactive and wacky, in contrast to his partner Bark. Bean likes to tag along with Fang and helps him on his mischievous adventures. He is a wanted criminal just like Fang.

Bark is a polar bear who is Bean’s partner. While Bean is a blabbering lunatic, Bark remains calm and mostly silent. Because of his great strength, he makes for a dangerous foe against Sonic and his friends. When Bean and Bark had Fang join their pack, they became nearly unstoppable to defeat, and while both his partners are fast, he is definitely the strongest of the bunch, and fighting against him would not be easy. No matter how harsh the consequences may be, he will help out his partners as much as he can to help them achieve their goal.

Jet is a hawk who is the boss of Babylon Rogues. Jet’s ancestors are technological, intelligent, professional Extreme Gear rider aliens from the Babylon Garden. When he gets angry, he aggressively kicks things. He loves to challenge Sonic and is in a constant challenge with him to prove who is the fastest. Wave is a swallow who is the technical genius of Babylon Rogues. Because of her knowledge, she is brimming with self-confidence and arrogance. Wave is often the one reminding Jet and Storm their responsibilities, but she is not always listened to. She is mistreated as if she is good only at building mechanisms. Mephiles is a dark crystal-like entity that wants to bring destruction to the world. He lurks in the shadows, causing havoc and despair to the unsuspecting. He can control shadows and darkness. Mephiles was born during the creation of Solaris and was split away from it. He was then sealed by Shadow into a scepter. After some time, he was accidentally set free. He later became a part of Solaris, but was eventually erased from existence as Sonic put out the flame of hope with Princess Elise.

Heavy and Bomb are two robots that were created by Dr. Eggman, but similar to some of the doctor’s other robots, they betrayed him, and assisted Chaotix Detective Agency in one of their quests. Despite their efforts to help, Heavy is usually very slow and Bomb is often self destructive. However, they are still good companions that their friends appreciate to be around. After Knuckles and the Chaotix stopped Dr. Eggman, Heavy and Bomb went on their own way to live out a life in freedom.

Emerl the Gizoid
Emerl is the most powerful Gizoid created by the Nocturnus Clan, but was left behind when the Nocturnus Clan was pulled into the Twilight Cage. About four thousand years later, Emerl was discovered by Gerald Robotnik, who classified him as a superweapon. Gerald attempted to nullify his destructive programming, but failed. In an attempt to curb it, he gave it the same qualities as his creation, Shadow, and a soul based on that of his granddaughter, Maria Robotnik.

G-merl is a Gizoid Created by Dr. Eggman using data and parts from Emerl, making him an evil reincarnation to help him stop Sonic and his friends. His remains were later found on a beach and he was repaired by Tails to make him good like Emerl once was. He now lives with Vanilla and Chocola.

Metal Sonic is Sonic’s robotic copy, created by Doctor Eggman to destroy the fleet-footed hero. Metal Sonic was made to copy Sonic in every way, including his speed. He is perhaps one of Sonic’s few rivals who has come the closest to defeating him. Metal Sonic is aggressive, hungry for superiority, and very cold-hearted. Despite usually keeping his darker side somewhat secret, he has a hidden obsessive passion for turning against his master and ruling over the world. Tails Doll
Tails Doll is a puppet version of Tails built by Doctor Eggman. It is comparable to Tails in the same way Metal Sonic is comparable to Sonic. Tails Doll has a metal rod protruding out of the top of its head that leads to a red gem that seems to control the robot’s movements. After its first use at the World Grand Prix, it had been put off for awhile, but now it is back. Although it does not appear to be an aggressive creation, many say that it has an extremely dark side to it, even to the point where it may be a cursed being.

Metal Knuckles is Knuckles’ robotic copy. Seeing how he was a hindrance to his plans, Doctor Eggman prepared Metal Knuckles as a secret weapon to overthrow Knuckles. Metal Knuckles uses the same power plant as Metal Sonic, and shares abilities with Knuckles. After his first use at the World Grand Prix and his loss against Sonic and his friends, Doctor Eggman decided to deactivate him. But recently, he upgraded him and let him join with Metal Sonic and Tails Doll to go and stop Sonic and his friends once and for all.

Doctor Eggman is a human with an amazing IQ over 300. He uses his scientific genius and robotics expertise to create weapons and gadgets in his bid to take over the world. As countless of his plans were ineffective, he has recently become a little more insane than the smart, calm, and evil man he used to be. He is very short-tempered. Infinite is an edgy jackal, who abandoned his past weaker self in order to conquer the world. With the ability to create illusions as real as reality, he can manipulate and defeat any foe. Orbot
Orbot is a sassy circular servant robot built by Eggman to help him in his various schemes, along with Cubot. Orbot enjoys pointing out the many mistakes in Eggman’s plans and likes to criticize Eggman in any bad choice he makes. Out of the two servant robots, Orbot is the smarter and calmer one. While he is supposed to assist Dr. Eggman in his works, he still talks to him with sass and disrespect even at the face of Eggman’s anger.

Cubot is a dimwit cubical servant robot built by Eggman to help him in his various schemes, along with Orbot. Cubot dislikes work, and he usually prefers lying down and relaxing than doing anything. Even when he works, he does it horribly, often falling asleep. Out of the two servant robots, Cubot is the sillier and lazier one. Cubot’s own hardware is just as lazily designed at times, with a faulty voice chip that keeps changing constantly. Therefore, he can never be taken seriously.

Maria Robotnik
Maria is a young human, who was the granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik. She was born and raised on the Space Colony ARK. She suffered from a terminal illness, which led Gerald to work on Project Shadow in hopes of finding a cure for her. Gerald’s research created Shadow, and he became a close friend of Maria. When G.U.N. shut down the ARK, Maria was killed while assisting Shadow in his escape from the colony. Maria was very strong in spirit, eternally cheerful, optimistic, and kind. She held endless love and compassion for the people of the world and wished for universal peace.

Vanilla is the respected mother of Cream. She lives in a small cottage with her daughter Cream, Cheese, and Chocola. Chocola is the brother of Cheese. She also cares a lot for her family, always making sure that they are not in danger of any kind. She is fond of those who keep her family safe. Sonic Generations – Unleashed Project
Соник-оборотень из Sonic Unleashed, возможно, не является самым популярным дизайнерским решением за всю историю франшизы, однако уровни в игре — одни из лучших за последние несколько десятилетий.
Sonic Generations: Unleashed, самый известный фанатский проект в мире, пытается перенести эти уровни с версии игры для Xbox 360 в Sonic Generations. Он также добавляет некоторые другие незначительные улучшения в производительность, элементы управления и графику.
На данный момент игра включает в себя восемь уровней, начиная от Windmill Isle до Jungle Joyride.
Some animations aren’t perfect obviously, but they may be fixed in the future (especially since the hand bones messes with the holding animation).
Some textures were modified from the original textures to match my own personal interpretation of the characters.
I’m aware there is already a Manic mod, but it does not work in recent versions (such as R8 and R9) and it crashes if you use that one. So, I made my own in order to fix that and for him to actually be playful in new versions! I added Sonia in too.
As with my other mods, Sonia and Manic may crash the game when entering certain vehicles (however, they can use the hang glider and snowboard just fine). I don’t know how to fix this so any tips for this would be nice.
Models were ripped from here, so it’s obviously not my own. Special thanks to them for the original models! The model for Manic’s hoverboard is from one of the extreme gears from the Sonic Riders games (I forget which one)
Sonia has Knuckles’s ori/moveset and Manic has Bean’s ori/moveset.

Подготовка
Для создания фан-игр по сонику, нам понадобятся следующие файлы:
Как только вы все скачаете и установите, откройте ClickTeam Fusion 2.5.
Разбираемся с движком.
В нем откройте файл движка соника Not So Simple Sonic Worlds Plus.
Далее, откройте фрейм нашего уровня, в нем мы будет создавать уровень.
Автор движка, советует поставить привязку по сетке. Что мы и сделаем.
Сначала, нажмите на кнопку Grid Setup.
И укажите привязку по сетке, как на картинке.
Можете удалять объекты в серой области, но, если появится следующее окно.
То нажмите «No«. Ни в коем случае, не нажимайте «Yes«, если вы это сделаете, то сломаете уровень. Данное окно говорит нам о том, что объект, который мы пытаемся удалить, связан со скриптом (эвентом).
Дальше, просто копипастите (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V) элементы уровня — отсюда:
И вставляете элементы, в нужных вам, позициях. Таким образом, и создается уровень.
Поговорим об объектах.
Указывает место, в котором появляется игрок (по умолчанию, это соник).
Теперь, научимся создавать мертвые петли.
У синей трубы и красной трубы, можно убрать коллизию. Например, при соприкосновении с этим объектом:
У красной трубы появляется коллизия, а у синей исчезает (через неё можно пройти). Тогда как, если столкнуться вот с этим объектом:
Наоборот, у синей трубы появляется коллизия, а у красной исчезает. Кстати, эти объекты (те что с цифрами) — невидимы.
С мертвой петлей разобрались. Перейдем к мотобагам.
С помощью красного и синего объекта, мотобаг, можно повернуть в обратном направлении,
При соприкосновении с синим объектом, мотобаг поворачивается влево.
При соприкосновении с красным — вправо.
Вот эти объекты:
Блокируют путь крабам. Кстати, крабов лучше ставить на земле, так как у них, почему-то, нет гравитации.
Чтобы поставить чекпоинт, используйте Lamp Post Spawner.
Окончание уровня задается через GoalMaker. С этим объектом нужно быть осторожным.
Дело в том, что если ты находишься в Finish Zone, то ты уже прошел уровень.
Таким образом, если ты поставишь GoalMaker левее соника, то уровень закончится, не успев начаться.
Основное разобрали, теперь вы можете запустить свой уровень. Кстати говоря, мой уровень выглядит так:
Далее я расскажу:
Меняем музыку на уровне.
Видим еще одну рекомендацию автора движка. Использовать Event List Editor, вместо Event Editor.
Автору виднее, используем!
В блоке [Music], найдите эвент проигрывания музыки, и измените его.
Нажмите на нижнюю кнопку Browse, чтобы добавить свою музыку.
Музыка добавлена, теперь разберем, как добавлять новые уровни.
Добавляем новый уровень.
Для начала, создайте дубликат своего уровня (Ctrl+C/ Ctrl+V).
Выберите Event List Editor, и убедитесь, что выбран нужный вам уровень.
Далее, измените следующий уровень. Ниже я объяснил, как это делается.
Меняем начальный уровень.
Начальный уровень задается во фрейме «Character Select«. Там же, открываем редактор эвентов.
И меняем начальный уровень.
Компилируем
Сохраняем. В появившемся окне, нажимаем «Да«.
Заключение
Фух, дописал. Разумеется в этом гайде, я не рассмотрел как делать фон, добавлять врагов и боссов. Но, для первого урока, думаю этого достаточно. В любом случае, теперь вы можете создавать свои fan-made игры по сонику. Надеюсь данный гайд, оказался вам полезен.

In order to change which character is active, rename the folder «son», «tai», or «sha». These are only skins, so using voice mods is recommended to adjust the voices to match. This does come with a voice mod that uses audio clips from my old Colors Sonic mod for Sonic World R9, so that helps the skins feel more authentic and accurate.
If you have any feedback, please feel free to present it and offer suggestions on how to adjust these mods and improve them. If there is stuff such as animation errors, please let me know so I may fix it. It is possible I have at least one more new addition to this pack in the future, but only once DX R1 comes around (and not, the trailer does not contain the DX R1 release date, that was the release date for this pack).
