Taking place after the Season 5 finale but before the Season 6 premiere, Gumball has a weird dream that he is speaking to a live-action man. He at first, doesn’t think much about it, but it slowly jumps back into his mind during middle school, and he tells Darwin about it. Darwin tells Gumball to talk to Nicole as she’s always good at this kind of stuff. Later that night, Gumball asks Nicole if she had any weird dreams, leading to Nicole recalling a different dream to Gumball’s. She tells him that it’s only a dream and that he should get some rest.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Parham assigns a cyborg polar bear hitman named Cy Polar to eliminate the Wattersons so that she can become the show’s protagonist. Cy manages to find Gumball and Darwin. But before they get shot, Nicole manages to drive in front of the taser bullet, taking both of the boys with her. She soon explains that she is part of the Witness Protection Program and that Polar was her former partner in crime. When she left to start a family, however, Polar became a gun-for-hire, hellbent on revenge. She also states that Anais knew about it, but they never told the boys, because they would be afraid of their reaction. Gumball is extremely terrified, thinking that his whole life was a lie. Mad that his mom didn’t tell him this beforehand, he jumps out the car window in fear. Right after he does, the car is destroyed by Polar, and the family is split up in three: Darwin and Richard, Anais and Nicole, and Gumball, all on his own. Thinking that he is destined to feel like nothing is real anymore, he hops into a window and lies down on a bed.

The next morning, Jack, an avid Gumball fan, wakes up to see Gumball sleeping beside him on his bed, and screams for his dear life, causing Gumball to scream himself and punch Jack square in the face. At first, Jack wants to punch him back, but holds himself because Gumball is a minor. However, after seeing that he’s talking to Gumball, he faints for a brief moment before getting up and introducing himself to Gumball. When Jack asks where his family is, the latter says that he doesn’t even know if he has a family. Jack tells him that everyone has got a family somewhere and decides to help Gumball find them, although Gumball is reluctant to do so.

Meanwhile, Anais and Nicole become mascots for a fast food place ran by a real life Larry Needlemeyer. Nicole is dressed as a large drink while Anais is dressed as french fries. They talk about where Nicole felt like she went wrong. Alongside that, Darwin and Richard accidentally rob a bank and hop in a getaway vehicle that looks similar to their car. Back to Jack and Gumball, they end up coming across Mark Wahlberg, who recognizes the latter and decides to help them with their adventure.

Cy Polar manages to catch up with Gumball, but is easily defeated. Jack then confronts Gumball as to why he’s so afraid to find his family, with Gumball revealing the truth. Jack ends up watching his favorite episode, «The Choices», and skips to the montage. Gumball wonders why he likes that episode, with Jack telling him that he’s never had a family, so he always felt jealous of Gumball’s family. Gumball embraces him, while Wahlberg watches them from afar.

Nicole and Anais suddenly spot Darwin and Richard driving away from the police and head with them. Soon after, they run into Gumball, Jack, and Wahlberg. When they all manage to escape from the police, Nicole apologizes to Gumball for not telling him sooner. Gumball accepts the apology and hugs his mother like he’s never hugged her before. Jack thinks that his journey is complete, but soon realizes who sent Polar after them. He tells them about it, and they agree that it would be something for her to do. However, before they head back to Elmore to humiliate her, Polar catches up with them, now insane that he can’t seem to kill them. Nicole manages to reason with Polar, and he decides to let them go.

When they return to Elmore, they find it to be a washed out place, due to Mrs. Parham demanding that everything be the way she likes it. She soon plans to take over the whole world. While the rest of the Watterson family cover them, Gumball, Nicole, and Jack head straight towards Mrs. Parham. At first, things seem to be normal, but Parham soon attacks and ends up hurting Gumball, causing Nicole to go full demon mode on her. However, she leaves her alone after seeing that Gumball is alive and well. The police soon arrive and arrest Mrs. Parham.

Soon, color and chaos are back in Elmore, with Gumball now having a new perspective on life. That being he should enjoy the little things.

(And just when it looks like the world has accepted his answer and allowed Elmore to keep existing even with him being older now, it turns out the Kid Hero status has simply been transferred over to Darwin, and we end on another, slightly less worrying cliffhanger.)

So it all started when Gumball’s Mom became pregnant by some guy during the age when she was in High School (possibly younger), she gave birth to Gumball. However, the guy didn’t seem to last long with Gumball’s mom, so he left her all alone to take care of her son. After she finished High School, she managed to get a job at the Rainbow Factory, which is a pretty good job to support the both of them. Later in life, Gumball’s Mom met and married Gumball’s Dad. Gumball’s Dad and Gumball’s little step-sister joined the family. Together, they currently live in a nice family home (along with Darwin).

Envy- Her desire for other people’s things such as Gumball’s body and little appreciation for what she has.

Gluttony- Her immense consumption of food to the point of waste. Remember that Gluttony isn’t limited to just food and it has do with keep wanting more of anything.

Lust- Her desire to go on immoral eating binges. Let’s not forget that Lust is doing anything immoral for the sake of physical pleasure not just immoral sexual acts.

It would explain what happened to the world in The Job. Basically, the world where Gumball lives is very weird and cartoonish. Richard eversed by having a job, raised the bar to uncontrollable levels and thus, unknowingly he distorted everything in his path, for example, turning his wife into a blobulous puddle. If he did succeed to give pizza whole and unharmed.

So why then, is he so dumb now? I propose that this is not a trait inherent to his personality, but the result of severe trauma, psychologically and physically. The idea of Richard as a military genius is supported by the intelligence of Anais, the only child that can be confirmed as definitely his offspring, and the Granny Jojo, who is obviously at least of average intellect. In addition, is it really reasonable that someone as driven as Nicole would waste her life with someone as lazy as Richard? At some point in the past he obviously was more attractive to someone like Nicole. Military benefits would also help explain how the Watterson’s are able to support themselves, when only one of them actually works and the other one spends all his time eating up their money.

The episode «The Nobody» shows several Larrys walking by as Gumball lists the possible roles that Rob could take in Elmore, despite other episodes treating him as one character. While this could easily be written off as a one-off gag, it seems just as likely that their are multiple Larrys. As for how he’s a Hive Mind? The episode «The Pizza» has Larry quit all of his jobs, causing the town to fall apart. This happens despite the Wattersons only bothering four of the Larrys, which means that the others are probably connected and were just as fed up as those four.

Larry: [deadpan] What happened? Well I’ve learned that even if your family left Elmore. We’d still have problems. From most people having out of control abilities that can cause as much damage as you guys. There’s also the fact that now I’m just the police’s accountant due to being rich from having a lot of jobs which since I quit most of them cause society to break down and cause the residents to be in jail right now since they caused the damages instead of you guys. So in-short They have to do my old jobs if they want to get things done.

Even with Rob’s defeat, the genie was out of the bottle now. Having them (Elmore High) almost be mass converted into live humans made keeping the «show» going not worth it anymore. After all, even if they didn’t listen to him then, who knows how many of them might wonder to themselves what Rob was trying to do?

No no, the game went on long enough. Time to pull the plug.

Additionally, while Gumball’s often potrayed as pretty wimpy, he occasionally shows he can be surprisingly brave when he wants to be (jumping after Bobert to save him while thousands of feet in the air, knowing death was certain if he failed in «The Upgrade»), capable of quick thinking in intense situations to save himself and his loved ones (lying about thinking Penny was worthless, so she would transform into a form small enough to slide under an on coming truck they were about to hit in «The Shell»), and even able to pull off the kinds of crazy things his mother can do when sufficiently pissed (running after Alan’s family’s car while leaving a fire trail behind him and causing everyone unfortunate enough to be caught in his path to explode on contact in «The Traitor»). Also, he’s surprisingly handy with a bow and arrow (as shown in «The Matchmaker»).

Maybe someday, something will trigger the drive he needs to really apply himself, like maybe having to rescue Penny or one of his other loved ones? Or maybe having to help save his world from The Void.

This will result in their show’s official cancellation in the real world, but the characters being free to move on from the status quo of the series, complete with an epilogue years down the line, showing something maybe along the lines of an older Watterson family and possibly other characters, with the kids now adults, Gumball and Penny now married, maybe with a kid of their own, or possibly just implied to have gotten more serious with their relationship, same for Darwin and Carrie, maybe other characters will get a little focus to, before bidding the audience a final farewell and maybe teasing a reboot or spin-off just for the heck of it, as the series comes to an end.

But as stated before, he was also still one of, if not the, biggest Butt-Monkey on the show, despite his generally more innocent nature. Certainly enough for him to have Took A Level In Cynicism as the show went on.

I also propose that Gumball’s (comparably and admittedly inconsistent) increase in intelligence is actually him gradually starting to mature and wise up, as the series goes on. Not enough that he wouldn’t be considered an idiot, but enough for him not to be a complete idiot (usually), and maybe become a more capable person down the line.

It explain how Nicole is so powerful. Anais and Gumball also have potential to be as strong as her, but they can currently only bring it out in extreme circumstances, like Gohan and his «rage boosts» early in Z.

In Season 1, Alan got immediately angry when Gumball pointed out his lack of hands. What if one day Alan finally snapped and was taken to therapy? But the therapists abused him behind everyone’s backs and forced him to be «happy». Which is why he wanted to «help» others too.

Yes this theory is horrible, but I can’t help but like it. I’m sorry.

One thing I find interesting looking back at the first couple episode, «The DVD» and «The Responsible», they both have a seemingly sincere morale about taking responsibility, that gets subverted in the end. (Gumball and Darwin (well, at least Gumball) learn things would have been fine and they would have saved everyone a lot of trouble if they had just went to Nicole and fessed up to what happened with the DVD to begin with, only for the three of them to end up booking it when their mother realizes the late fee they ran up is several hundred dollars. And in the latter episode, Gumball has a dramatic moment where he declares he’ll take responsibility for what happened to the house under his watch, only to chicken out when he actually has to look his mother her fiery eyes, leading to the whole family playing the Blame Game before just blaming the internet and calling it good.)

And it goes without saying, the lesson about taking responsibility, (along with most others), didn’t stick with Gumball after these episodes and he has remained the Idiot Hero and Loser Protagonist we all know and love, that causes many of his own problems. And if there is any time in the series for Gumball to actually go through some serious Character Development, it would be in the series finale.

So I propose, that his character arc in the finale, will be learning to become a more responsible person, complete with call backs to these two episodes and other times in the series where irresponsible actions got him and others into trouble.

The 8 Bit Dog that looks like Parappa. He may be a villain in the finale. I mean he’s a background character who gets a few lines. Two singing about being a background character, one about being depressed and the last he knew exactly what Gumball was thinking and was ignored. Rob may have to face someone he used to be just like.

Also a motive. He’s a nobody and if he send everyone to the void, everyone else will be a nobody.

But, assuming this is true, why would the the continuation after the movie need to be treated as a different series and not just a new season(s) of the original? It’s not like it has been over a decade since the TAWOG ended. Kind of early for a full on revival, isn’t it? It’s not like the seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants after their first movie, had to be labeled as a completely different show. And like Spongebob, Gumball’s an episodic comedy that largely sticks to its status quo, that can ignore what happened in the movie and past episodes on at least a general basis. So why treat whatever comes after the film as a new series?

Unless, there is going to be at least some notable differences between the original and the new series, that would justify treating them as separate series.

So I am proposing that, unless this whole new series this is some kind of troll move/meta joke ala the title changes in Aqua Teen Hunger Force (which to be fair, is a possibility.), the movie will introduce one or more major changes to the show and/or its characters that will carry over to the new series. But what.

And it isn’t completely without precedent. As we have been shown that Gumball has an active imagination in the show. (Like in «The Plan», he gets side tracked having a time travel battle with his (imagined) past self within the Imagine Spot of the the titular plan, when the latter refuses to fix a screw up he made earlier in the plan.)

Maybe even the possibility of Gumball’s world’s enforced Status Quo Is God and possibility of it all being sucked into The Void, is an allegory for his refusal to grow up or something, and him deciding to accept that it’s time to grow up will save the world in some fashion, while breaking the status quo. (Admittedly this one is more of a stretch, especially without knowing how things will ultimately play out, but who knows.)

All this seems to support the characters being forced into their roles in the story by their universe completely. But on the other hand, both Gumball and Darwin have been to defeat the Will They or Won’t They? trope and officially get together with Penny and Carrie respectively (the latter also leading to a permanent change in Penny’s character in process.), after earning it. And characters have been able to make strides towards self improvement within episodes without the universe going out of whack to restore the status quo. (Though they admittedly still fall back into old habits, thanks to Aesop Amnesia, but still.)

Gumball, Darwin, and Mr. Smalls when even able to avert Chuck Cunningham Syndrome after rescuing Molly from The Void. Albeit, the events were wiped from their memories in the end. But they still got it back.

And in both «The Job» and «The Test», while Richard and Gumball were both making valiant efforts towards trying to help support his family and being a nicer guy, (the former being actually sincere in his efforts on top of that), they both didn’t really have the character development to «earn» that change; Richard stumbles onto that job through dumb luck instead of actively working towards being an employable man/rabbit and looking for one, and while he does genuinely want to use his new job to help support his family, he’s still too irresponsible to actually hold down a job. While Gumball is shown to have the potential to become a better person in other episodes, within the test, he’s trying to force it while forcing down the sour sides of his personality, just for the sake of popularity, instead of making a sincere effort to slowly, but surely better himself over time.

New «The Amazing World of Gumball» Movie and Series Get the Greenlight

(September 21, 2021) — The comedic misadventures of Gumball, Darwin and the other quirky residents of Elmore will continue on HBO Max and Cartoon Network with The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie! (working title) and The Amazing World of Gumball: The Series (working title). It begins with the camera passing by Principal Brown’s house as a voice says «In a world in chaos. » Principal Brown is visible in the same shot and can be seen watering his lawn then waves to the camera. The screen fades to one of the halls in Elmore Junior High as Carmen and Alan attempt to kiss, however Alan pops because he is a balloon, and Carmen is a cactus. The scene cuts to Gumball and Darwin doing dramatic poses. Gumball asks Darwin what is with his voice. Darwin replies that it is his «movie voice.» Gumball says that his voice sounds like a gargling gravel. Darwin stands up with his flippers on his hips. He asks if Gumball wants to make the trailer average or good. Gumball replies «whatever.» They count to three and jump out of the screen showing a sign that says heroism. Darwin is up a tree crying «help!» and Gumball tries to save him with a garbage bin while William, Anton, and Banana Joe watch them. Darwin yells «great!» and falls down straight onto the garbage bin. Another scene shows a family feud of Gumball and Richard fighting over the remote. Anais laughs and Nicole looks confused. The remote falls into Richard’s mouth and whenever he hiccups, the channel on the TV changes. Another scene shows a sign that reads danger where Gumball throws a fire extinguisher and accidentally hits Tina and she chases him. Another scene shows Marvin that is slowly riding to a sewer hole. Another scene shows Gumball snatching Anais’ ice cream and Anais gives him several slaps on the face. Another scene shows Richard jiggling his nipples left while Nicole laughs as Mr. Small watches from afar, setting his eyes on fire. Another scene shows Penny kissing Gumball, then he starts blushing madly. The next scene shows Richard making a sandwich then it accidentally falls making him scream dramatically. In some short scenes, Darwin shows off his muscles, Banana Joe taking off his peel, Carrie trying to possess, Donut Cop saluting, Bobert in combat mode, Hector stomping a car, Sussie smiling, and finally, Gumball and Darwin jumping out of the screen while a TV shows a massive explosion. The last scene shows everyone saying the show’s title.

Hector falls backwards from the stike and groans as his massive body slams over the entire playground are behind the school.
He immediately wakes up as his colorful fur suffers from minor burns and asks «DID I WIN?»
After a long silence, some school staff peek out the windows and see that the storm has passed. Eventually everyone run out the door, check out the scene and suddenly start to cheer. Some of the kids ran to Hector, congratulate him and earn a free ride for a change!
«Well, looks like nothing can be solved with good luck and good friends to help you out the most» said Darwin. Gumball replies «Yeah but still, is something like that even possible?»
«What?» asked Darwin. «The whole Hector blowing on the tornado deal? How does that even work?» questioned Gumball. «Anything is possible, man.» answered Darwin with a calm swag.
«GUYS!» screamed a girly voice.
It was Tobias, followed by Banana Joe, Damien, Chozu and eventually Hector.
«Hey guys!» said Gumball with relief.
«Hector saved the school!» said Damien as Chozu clapped happily.
«Yeah, but it’s kinda weird how HECTOR saved us, huh?» asked Gumball.
«IT WAS NOTHING, GUYS. HAPPY TO HELP!» replied Hector with a deep and calm voice.
«So, now what?» asked Banana Joe.
«BACK TO CLASS!» came a hideous voice. Apparently Miss Simian had a bad day or something, huh?
As the kids return back to their classes, Gumball and Darwin meet up with a frightened Anais. The trio hug for a small moment as they went their seperate ways.
The day was back to normal!

MEANWHILE AT THE WATTERSON’S BACKYARD

It appears that Hector’s defiance of physics and gravity after taking down the tornado has disrupted the space/time universe order and has brought beings of another world to theirs!
Now the only question is: NOW WHAT HAPPENS?

Gumball: The Movie

Gumball: The Movie is an upcoming 2020 animated comedy-adventure television film based on the Cartoon Network TV Series, The Amazing World of Gumball. It was produced by Boulder Media and premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States, and Teletoon in Canada on July 15, 2020. The movie centers on Gumball’s journey to solve all the cases and disappearences of the citizens of Elmore by the his family’s former pet and current enemy, the Evil Turtle.

The movie begins in the last day of Elmore Junior High with Gumball, Darwin and the other students leave for their summer vacations after their last day ends.

On the way, Gumball asked Darwin if he thinks that Miss Simian is moving away with Principal Brown. He said he wasn’t sure, but he would think that the descendant should be ready for the vacation. Later when he gets home, he asks his mother the same thing, but she only remained silent and went up stairs. Gumball And Darwin felt weird about Their mom, but They decided to not worry about it, for They knew that tomorrow was the first day of the vacation. The next morning, the Wattersons got all ready for the trip. Nicole asks Gumball And Darwin where they heard that accepts his trip, but she said that he would tell them later.

The next morning, the Wattersons are eating in the living room where they see a radio news report about the disappearance of local citizens, including Rocky. The news report shocks them but motivates Gumball and Darwin to investigate and find out who the culprit is. During the investigation, Darwin finds a mysterious egg under Rocky’s car, which they take to Anais for further examination. However, the brothers get bored of listening to her so they resume their search for clues. Fortunately, they find pieces of shredded clothes which lead to Rocky’s basement, after they finds Rocky.

Meanwhile, Anais finds out that the egg comes from a «Trionyx», the same species as their Evil Turtle.

They saw Stinky Dominic Planesfield, who is angry for Richard costing his victory, life and trophy. As the boys began to speak, The boys said that he was the worst and fired fighter of Elmore that all the people didn’t believe them. Stinky decides to punches them, but Richard stops him and during the attack, The Evil Turtle shows up at the Wattersons’ house and attacks Richard Watterson. Nicole grabbed everyone in her family and headed home to head out of town, attempting to evacuate to avoid after the Wattersons’ house sinks due to the sinkhole accident. They had no time to pack anything, they all just headed straight for the car to get out of town. Gumball and Darwin wanted to say something to Penny and Carrie, but had no time. During the trip, the Wattersons had barely escaped, and were the only ones to escape from Elmore in time.

They were lucky enough to find a hotel to stay in for the night. And while they were there, Gumball and Darwin started to ask their mom about the story he heard yesterday. Anais told them a long story about Richard accidentally broughts the turtle instead of a puppy. Then she told them that she is not a puppy. At first, he though it was a joke, but then he saw that nobody was laughing, so he knew it was serious. He was mad with his mom that she didn’t tell him before. She tried to apologize, but Gumball didn’t listen. Darwin told everyone to calm down, as so they did. Then, Gumball accepts her mother’s apology and finds Penny, who wants to travel to Alaska too. Nicole told her son that there is only one weapon that can defeat the Evil Turtle. She said she didn’t know where it was, but she did know about a clue of where it is. She said that the clue was somewhere in a snowy place. The Wattersons decided to go to Alaska, for it was the only snowy place that they knew about. They would head straightly there in the morning. Because as of now, Elmore’s shoulders know lie in the hands of Gumball And Darwin.

Back in Elmore, Stinky made some troops to attack all the townspeople. They searched the entire city, but they were nowhere to be found. He had figured that they had escaped, so by going to their house, he gathered up information there to find out were they might be found. But he could not do it alone, so he resurrected Jealousy and all the deceased villains. He told them to head for Alaska, because that is where Gumball, Darwin and their family were heading. After they left, Simon feared that Gumball and Darwin was already traveling to Alaska along with his girlfriend Penny, so he and his troops started to turn all the students into the slaves. And especially, he started to search for the Watterson family and brainwashes Miss Simian into her evil self.

Meanwhile, as the Wattersons were traveling down the road to Alaska, they stopped by a gas station to get some food. Gumball and Darwin all of a sudden saw a wanted sign on the wall. It seems though as if Evil Turtle was looking for them. So to make sure that nobody suspected, he quickly tore it down to make sure no one would notice. Nicole bought all the food she could buy. Richard suddenly saw a wanted poster of them behind the manager and warned everybody about it. So Nicole bought the supplies before they noticed, and headed off to Alaska.

As they left the pillar, three strange figures were standing outside, waiting for them. They were Penny and Anais reveals that the Evil Turtle is now pregnant for her babies to cause complete chaos of Elmore and wish to get Gumball And Darwin back to Elmore alive. They showed a treehouse, where one person was in. It was Penny, tied to a chair. Miss Simian said that the Evil Turtle would terrorize and cause chaos across Elmore if she is pregnant. With that, Miss Simian, Mr. Kreese and Rob runs back to Elmore. Anais became angry at Gumball and Darwin, accidentally trauded down the mountain, towards the car the family had parked. After the avalanche, Gumball, Darwin and Anais is then captured by the Stinky’s minions and take them into the train and traveled into the forest.

While lost in the forest, the Evil Turtle attacks Anais. But during the attack, Anais is saved by the two women Martha and Elsa, who try to persuade them to be friends. She tells them that they were created by the Rainbow Factory as the puppets, but now becomes Martha and Elsa the anthropomorphic cat and fish. She said it was a long story. They had to get a move-on to save Elmore. But they is captured by Mr. Kreese and takes them into the Richwood High. Darwin is angry to find out that the «fight» is actually a tennis match pitting him and Gumball against Carlton and Troy. During the fight, Cartlon prepares to injure Gumball, but Gumball attacks Cartlon and Troy instead.

After the chase, Gumball, Darwin and Anais steals the bus and drives back to Elmore. As they return to Alaska, Gumball and his friends are reunited by his parents, but Rob orders Doughnut Sheriff and his guards to throw the Watterson family into the jail and to capture Gumball, Darwin, Anais and Penny for their past actions. Nicole orders Doughnut Sheriff to leave the kids alone and how she’ll regret throwing his family in the jail, but Doughnut Sheriff smugly replies that she doubts it.

After he explained what the plan was, the family had locked in the jail and the kids are separated from them, they all went different ways. Gumball And Darwin however, is attacked by the Evil Turtle again. As he headed to the basement, he saw some guards standing by a familiar looking door. It was where Penny And Carrie was hidden. With accuracy, Gumball And Darwin quickly took out the guards, and pressed on. He went through the door, and saw that Penny and Carrie was there. They was rejoyced that They found Them. Penny And Carrie had tried to warn Gumball and Darwin that there was something behind Them, but They couldn’t hear Them, because Their mouth was tapped shut. Then They realized that someone Was Right Behind Them. It was Anderous. He said that he had been waiting for him to return. Gumball And Darwin tried to shoot the Evil Turtle, but nothing happened. As the bullets hit, The Evil Turtle attacks Darwin, as if his body was made of steel. The Evil Turtle then pointed his hand in the left direction. Gumball And Darwin saw and looked that Their family were caught and brought them for them to see something. Gumball And Darwin asked, but They figured out that Stinky makes a deal with Gumball and reveals his true plan to capture the Evil Turtle. Gumball and Darwin asked for forgiveness, but Stinky stops him for leaving their father adopting the evil turtle.

Everyone was shocked in horror as they all saw Gumball and Darwin get accidentally tranquilized by the Pest Controller, and fell to the ground. Since they had felt better after terrorize the descendant of the legendary heroes, They just decided to let Gumball and Darwin’s family go. The boys also released Elmore of its slavery, because they knew that nobody could stop them. The Wattersons and Penny becomes sobbered as they went back to their house. They put Gumball and Darwin on the couch for them to lay down. They were all very disappointed because not only that there is no one left to defeat Stinky, but had also lost someone very important to them. They had all placed their hands on Gumball and Darwin’s forehead and prayed for forgiveness.

Later in a strange, light, blank place, Gumball and Darwin woke up and someone else was looking at them. He asked that he is alive where he was. The person said that he was just inside their own head. Then Gumball And Darwin asked who They was. And the person revealed to Them that Stinky tries to capture the Evil Turtle. Gumball And Darwin was surprised of who he was talking to. Gumball and Darwin asked them how to defeat Stinky. They said not only to use the sword, but to use what is the most important to Them. And before they woke up, They also told Them that Elmore was in his hands, then went away.

As Gumball and Darwin’s eyes opened, everyone was surprised and happy to see that they are alive. They soon found an underground room, where laid the legendary Sword of Elmore. Gumball and Darwin approached, and pulled it out of the pedstal. Everyone then knew, he was the descendant of the legendary hero. Gumball And Darwin told Their family to gather guns and everyone in town. A fierce war was about to start to defeat Stinky, but Simon refuses and betrays him for believing that Richard buys the Evil Turtle instead of a puppy.

Later, during the rainstorm, when Gumball had his «army» ready, he hollered out Stinky’s name. Stinky couldn’t believe what he saw. He had saw that Gumball was still alive. Ignoring him, he prepared his army to attack. Then they both meet on the battlefield, with there two armies ready, both of them ordered to attack. Then when both Gumball and Stinky eye’s meet, the Battle of Elmore began. People, fighting people, it was just like the war 1,000 years ago. Gumball was heading for Anderous, so he could finish this once and for all. Gumball, Anais and Darwin went with him. Along the way, Jealousy and all the villains of Elmore appeared out of nowhere, telling them they had nowhere to go. Anais said that she would take care of this, so Gumball, Elsa and Darwin headed on, until they encountered another enemies, Sal Left Thumb and Zach Watterson. Elsa and Darwin said that they would take care of him, so Gumball went on until he encounter something else. Rob attacks him. Gumball had no choice, he had to fight him. But all of a sudden, the battle was interrupted. Martha stood before Gumball and told him to go on, in which he did. Rob, Miss Simian and Simon tried to stop him, but Martha stopped him, and told him that he had to fight her if he wanted to go on.

Gumball couldn’t let go of his scence, so he knew where to find him. Gumball and Darwin encountered Stinky and his brainwashed goons at the cave of the Forest of Doom that looked fimiliar. It was were he was defeated by the hero long ago. Both of them ready’d for their fight, and begun their final battle. Swords had clashed on and on numerously. None of them were breaking a drop of sweat. At one point, both had dropped their swords, axiesesnly trying to get them back. Then the final clash had begun. The instense power went on forever. And as Gumball had fell to his, he thought of something he never had before. He knew that his family and friends were the most important thing to him. They had helped him throughout his life, and helped him came over many trials. So using all of his might, he stood up, using all of his power to defeat Stinky. Then he had finally delivered the final blow, defeating Stinky’s goons and becomes freed from the Stinky’s cruelty, but Stinky orders his ex-henchmen to works him, but they refuses. But Gumball did something that the hero didn’t do. Then, Anais kicks Rob and falls into the universal remote, summoning a portal of the Void which leads there. As the result, Stinky and Simon is thrown by Rob into the Void, erasing them forever. With Stinky is gone, his henchmen’ memories are restored.

When Gumball, Darwin and Anais reunited by the parents after they returned to Elmore, Nicole and Richard then finds out that the hatchlings destroys Elmore is to find Evil Turtle so she can lead her offsprings to the river. The family finds Evil Turtle captured in Pest Controller’s van and show her to her offsprings. The plan works, Gumball says goodbye to Evil Turtle and apologizes for never understanding her. The family observes Evil Turtle swimming away with her babies in awe, with Gumball revealing that their pet was never really evil, but simply a caring parent. However, the turtles attack and sink a nearby ship, much to the family’s shock.

When Gumball and Darwin had returned, he saw an empty battlefield, filled with nothing but the citizens of Elmore. They saw him walking towards the middle, knowing that he had defeated the stickman away forever. Also, he saw that no one was killed. They were injured, but not dead. He felt very happy to see that it was all over. Then citizens cheered out their names several times, knowing that they was the new heroes of Elmore. Then Martha and Elsa walked toward him to ask him something. She wanted to know what he was going to ask her on the night of the festival. He said that he loved her, and also said that he always loved her ever since he meet her. She said to him that it’s weird, but then they both kissed. Everyone had rejoiced and said that they should a special party for Gumball and Darwin, and Gumball and Darwin lets all the Elmore Junior High students move in with them. The world is finally saved and Gumball, Darwin and their family finally lived in peace.

In July 8, 2017 they came up with an idea to make a movie for Gumball, his family and all the people of Elmore, Chris Pratt was originally gonna be the voice actor for Gumball and Tobias but Chris Pratt switched to work and was scheduled to release on January 22, 2016 It Was To Early Then On To June 3, 2016 Not Good Enough Then July 29, 2016 But It Wasn’t Ready In Time Next Idea Was September 30, 2016 But It Couldn’t Go Then Gone To October 28, 2016 But Moved To March 24, 2017 But Was Removed From The Date & Then Went to August 4, 2017 but was delayed Again to November 10, 2017 Once Again Deleted From The Release & Then February 23, 2018 & Then Changed To April 6, 2018 But Was Plan To Release May 11, 2018 But Now Completely Complete To Release July 5, 2019 to make room for the sequel to The Regular Show Movie & for the Steven Universe Film & We Bare Bears And An Five Nights At Freddy’s Sequel.

Наверняка вы слышали о масштабной перестройке в Warner Bros. и HBO Max, которая последовала после слияния с Discovery+. Новое руководство, например, отменило почти готовый фильм о Бэтгёрл, а затем вынудило актёру Эзру Миллера принести извинения за своё поведение. Теперь же Variety сообщает, что с HBO Max пропадёт 36 проектов, включая анимацию. Причём 19 шоу из списка были созданы специально для стриминга.

По словам компании, это позволит снизить расходы на сервис, поскольку с него пропадут те шоу, что собирают меньше всего просмотров. Среди них, например, лучший мультсериал о миллениалах Close Enough, очень мемный анимационный мультфильм «Аквамен: король Атлантиды» и другие. Некоторые создатели анимационных сериалов уже отреагировали на решение руководства HBO Max. Например, Джулия Потт, автор Summer Camp Island, у которого практически готов шестой сезон:

«Гамболу» исполняется 10 лет. Вспоминаем, за что мы его любим

3 мая 2011 года в эфире Cartoon Network состоялась премьера мультсериала «Удивительный мир Гамбола» (The Amazing World of Gumball). Довольно быстро он набрал популярность не только среди детей, но и у любителей анимации всех возрастов. Как же этот дурашливый мульт смог собрать вокруг себя такую прочную фанбазу? В честь годовщины с выхода «Гамбола» вспоминаем, за что мы его так сильно любим (и почему с нетерпением ждём полнометражное продолжение).

В центре сюжета «Удивительного мира Гамбола» синий кот Гамбол, его сводный брат-рыбка Дарвин и их семья: младшая сестра Анаис (крольчиха), постоянно работающая мама Николь (кошка) и ленивый отец Ричард (кролик). Гамбол и Дарвин постоянно ввязываются в забавные истории, в которых часто оказываются и их одноклассники из средней школы маленького выдуманного городка Элмора. Кажется, сюжет максимально простой и детский. Что же отличает этот мультсериал от всего, что мы видели до и после этого?

Всратая анимация

«Удивительный мир Гамбола» — это феноменальное сочетание традиционной, кукольной, компьютерной и покадровой анимации. Иногда здесь даже есть вставки, выполненные в виде пиксельных игр или аниме. Даже многие из героев, регулярно появляющихся в сюжете, выглядят по-разному. Всё это напоминает дикий коллаж из всего самого крутого, что мы видим в современной (и не очень) анимации. Cartoon Network даже собрали в одном видео все использованные в мульте техники:

Если до этого вы никогда не смотрели мульт, то эта видеонарезка покажется вам максимально хаотичной, но в этом и есть весь «Гамбол»: смешение всего со всем. При просмотре этого мульта постоянно чувствуешь, что создателям очень нравилось то, что они делали: в каждом небольшом эпизоде можно увидеть, что в процессе ребята реально веселились и отрывались. И это круто.

Шутки и визуальные гэги

В «Гамболе» можно найти юмор в любых его проявлениях. Шутки здесь варьируются от самых простых и невинных, над которыми будет смеяться даже самый юный зритель, до более сложных каламбуров, которые заставят хохотать взрослого дядьку. С юмором здесь экспериментируют так же смело, как и с анимаций.

Показать шутку визуально и сделать это гармонично — не самая простая задача. Порой кажется, что создателям «Гамбола» она даётся максимально просто и естественно. Сами посмотрите отрывок, в котором героев отправляют на терапевтический сеанс, где учат правильно выражать агрессию.

Здесь идеально всё: от того, как аниматоры играют с лицами персонажей, до огромного пузыря, который Дарвин выдувает в надежде выпустить пар. Получается, что в сценарий «Гамбола» иногда даже необязательно вставлять смешные реплики — визуальная часть вместе с дико смешными аудиодополнениями (например, хныканьем Гамбола) вполне справляются с задачей заставить зрителя смеяться до слёз.

Музыкальные номера

Отдельного упоминания заслуживают музыкальные вставки в эпизодах. Они появляются не всегда, но когда вы слышите первый намёк на надвигающуюся песню, вы понимаете, что пора готовить животики для смеха. Но иногда среди музыкальных номеров появляются и трогательные: например, совершенно чудесная песня «Такой же странный, как и я».

Здесь нет поучений

Кажется, что раз «Гамбол» был изначально рассчитан на детскую аудиторию, то и «вечные и важные уроки» в нём будут подаваться топорно. Однако тут начинается ещё больший слом ожиданий — мультсериал редко когда сталкивает героев с последствиями их действий. Например, в эпизоде «Турнир лентяев» из первого сезона мы наблюдаем за тем, как Гамбол и Дарвин в надежде найти более ленивого человека, чем их отец, портят жизнь одного из персонажей. В конце серии ты ожидаешь, что они поймут, что натворили, однако этого так и не происходит.

Мэтт Эдвард из Den of Geek довольно хорошо объяснил такой подход следующим образом: «Удивительный мир Гамбола» позволяет на несколько минут в день оказаться в голове ребёнка с гиперактивным воображением и узнать его историю приключений тем способом, которым дети обычно и рассказывают свои байки. Поучения и важность последствий чаще появляются в словах взрослых. И это можно увидеть во многих мультсериалах, которые кажутся детскими только из-за того, что в них есть важные идеи, полезные для подрастающего поколения.

«Гамбол» же, по ощущениям, был создан детьми, у которых феноменальные навыки в анимации и сценарном мастерстве. И от осознания того, что всё это делали взрослые чуваки, становится ещё более тепло на душе — ведь это значит, что и мы можем попробовать сохранить в себе ощущение детства. Ну а если с этим возникнут проблемы, всегда можно вернуться к сериям «Гамбола», чтобы хотя бы на некоторое время увидеть мир глазами ребёнка.

Так что мы торжественно вручаем ребятам, создавшим «Удивительный мир Гамбола», премию за самых образцовых кидалтов в мире анимации. И поздравляем их с юбилеем мультсериала. А вам советуем скорее идти и смотреть приключения синего кота и его брата-рыбки.

Synopsis

Elmore is told of a story long ago of how their town was saved from a demon that was defeated by a legendary hero, and was given its name. After the 1000th year has passed, the demon, Anderous, would return and planning to kill the Evil Turtle. Unfortunately, the 1000th year has passed, and Gumball And Darwin was told by Their mother that the legendary hero was a Watterson, and he was the descendant of the hero, so he has to prepare himself when the demon comes and to save and bring the Evil Turtle out of Elmore.

The movie begins with Gary looking for his cat outside his house, unaware of an unknown creature that lurks near him. Just as he finds his cat, he is snatched by the Evil Turtle under his car.

The movie begins in Last Day Of Elmore Junior High with Mr. Small telling about an old legend passed down in Elmore. The story of the legend starts out in a village that was at peace for many years. But then one day, a mysterious evil turtle appeared out of nowhere and destroyed the village, and snatching all it’s people because the evil turtle is now pregnant for her babies. Then all of a sudden, Elmore Is Destroyed a hero appeared out of nowhere, defeating the demon lord and restoring peace to the land. The hero then named the land after his name, Elmore. However, the demon left a message saying, «I will return again in a thousand years, so your descendant better be ready». Everyone but, the hero, believed that it wasn’t true, but the hero knew that he would return, so he told his future son to warn the other future son’s and so on that Anderous, the demon lord, would return, so the descendant would be ready.

Then the bell rings and Mr. Small says that class is over and is time for everybody to go home. On the way, Gumball asked Darwin if he thinks that story that Mr. Small told was real. He said he wasn’t sure, but he would think that the descendant should be ready for the demon. Later when he gets home, he asks his mother the same thing, but she only remained silent and went up stairs. Gumball And Darwin felt wierd about Their mom, but They decided to not worry about it, for They knew that tomorrow was the 1000th anniversary of the day that the legendary hero defeated Anderous. The next morning, the Wattersons got all ready for the festival. Nicole asks Gumball And Darwin where They heard that story yesterday, and he says the Mr. Small told it to the entire class. Then he asks why, but she said that he would tell Them later.

Everyone at the festival starts to celebrate with joy, just as the people 1000 years ago did. Gumball And Darwin, along with Their family and friends, started to have a great time at the festival. Then Gumball And Darwin wanted to ask Penny And Carrie something, but before The Boys could, Their mom pulled Them away to tell him something. But before she could tell Them anything, everyone heard a loud crash come from the legendary hero’s statue. They saw a dark coffin rise from the broken statue, and saw darkness coming out the coffin as well. Then, a stange and mysterious dragon-looking figure rose from the coffin. As The Boys began to speak, The Boys said that he was the demon, Anderous Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin Tee people didn’t believe Them, but when they saw him kill someone with a dark spell, everyone startled in fear as they saw the dark magic. Everyone was shocked that he had returned. They thought he wouldn’t but he did. Nicole grabbed everyone in her family and headed home to head out of town. They had no time to pack anything, they all just headed straight for the car to get out of town. Gumball And Darwin wanted to say something to Penny And Carrie, but had no time. The next morning, the Wattersons are eating in the living room where they see a TV news report about the disappearance of local citizens. After they left, Anderous feared that Gumball And Darwin was already searching for the legendary sword the killed Them a long time ago, so he and his troops started to turn Elmore into a city of slaves. And especially, he started to search for Penny And Carrie’s family for an unknown reason.

Meanwhile, as the Wattersons were traveling down the road to Alaska, they stopped by a gas station to get some food. Gumball And Darwin all of a sudden saw a wanted sign on the wall. It seems though as if Anderous was looking for them. So to make sure that nobody suspected, he quickly tore it down to make sure no one would notice. Nicole bought all the food she could buy. Richard suddenly saw a wanted poster of them behind the manager and warned everybody about it. So Nicole bought the supplies before they noticed, and headed off to Alaska.

As they left the pillar, three stange figures were standing outside, waiting for them. They were Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin the enemies sent by Anderous to get Gumball And Darwin back to Elmore alive. Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin had given his good counter-part a message. It was from Anderous. It showed Gumball And Darwin what Elmore had become ever since him and his family had left. Anderous said in the message that he would kill the entire city if he didn’t come back. And before the message ended, Anderous showed a room, where one person was in. It was Penny, tied to a chair. Anderous said that he would kill her if he didn’t come back. With that, the three evil doers teleported into darkness and back to Elmore. Gumball became angry, At Darwin and accidently trauded down the mountain, towards the car the family had parked.

They decided to get back to Elmore, because Gumball And Darwin didn’t want anybody, including Penny And Carrie, to die. As they slowly reached Elmore, they saw that it was protected by numerous guards, so they had to think of a plan. All of a sudden, Nicole threw something at the guards. The family didn’t know what she was doing until the thing they saw exploded. Darwin asked where she got that gernade. She said it was a long story. But there was no time to waste. They had to get a move-on to save Elmore. They grabbed the guards’ guns and headed out. Gumball And Darwin knew where Penny was hidden. She was located at the basement of Elmore Junior High. As they easily sneaked there, Gumball And Darwin had a plan all figured out.

After he explained what the plan was, the family had seperated into singles, they all went different ways. Gumball And Darwin however, went to the basement to find Penny And Carrie. As he headed to the basement, he saw some guards standing by a familiar looking door. It was where Penny And Carrie was hidden. With accuracy, Gumball And Darwin quickly took out the guards, and pressed on. He went through the door, and saw that Penny And Carrie was there. They was rejoyced that They found Them. Penny And Carrie had tried to warn Gumball And Darwin that there was something behind Them, but They couldn’t hear Them, because Their mouth was tapped shut. Then They realized that someone Was Right Behind Them. It was Anderous. He said that he had been waiting for him to return. Gumball And Darwin tried to shoot Anderous, but nothing happened. As the bullets hit, Anderous felt nothing, as if his body was made of steel. Anderous then pointed his hand in the left direction. Gumball And Darwin saw and looked that Their family were caught and brought them for them to see something. Gumball And Darwin asked, but They figured out that Anderous wanted to kill Them, to get revenge on what Gumball And Darwin’s descendant did to Them. Gumball And Darwin asked for forgiveness, but Anderous refused and pulled the trigger on Their gun.

Everyone was shocked in horror as they all saw Gumball And Darwin get shot, and fell to the ground. Since Anderous had felt better after killing the descendant of the legendary heroes, They just decided to let Gumball And Darwin’s family and Penny And Carrie go. The Boys also released Elmore of it’s slavery, because They knew that nobody could stop Them. The Wattersons and Penny Carrie all sobbered as they went back to their house. They put Gumball And Darwin on the couch for Them to lay down. They were all very disappointed because not only that there is no one left to defeat Anderous, but had also lost someone very important to them. They had all placed their hands on Gumball And Darwin’s forhead and prayed for forgiveness.

Later in a strange, light, blank place, Gumball And Darwin woke up and someone else was looking at Them. He asked You Alive Said Richard where he was. The person said that he was just inside Their own head. Then Gumball And Darwin asked who They was. And the person revealed to Them that They was the legendary heroes that defeated Anderous 1,000 years ago. Gumball And Darwin A was surprised of who he was talking to. Gumball And Darwin asked Them how to defeat Anderous. Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin They said not only to use the sword, but to use what is the most important to Them. And before They woke up, They also told Them that Elmore was in his hands, then went away.

As Gumball And Darwin’s eyes opened, everyone was surprised and happy to see that They Are Alive. They soon found a underground room, where laid the legendary Sword of Elmore. Gumball And Darwin approached, and pulled it out of the pedstal. Everyone then knew, he was the descendant of the legendary hero. Gumball And Darwin told Their family to gather guns and everyone in town. A fierce war was about to start.

Later, when Gumball And Darwin had Their «army» ready, They hollered out Anderous’ Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin name. Anderous Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin couldn’t believe what They saw. They had saw that Gumball And Darwin was still alive. Ignoring Them, They prepared Their army to attack. Then they both meet on the battlefield, with there two armies ready, both of them ordered to attack. Then when Gumball, Darwin and Anderous Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin’s eye’s meet, the Battle of Elmore began. People, fighting people, just like the war 1000 years ago. Gumball And Darwin was heading for Anderous, Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin so They could finish the demon off once and for all. Anias and Penny went with Them. Along the way, Jealousy appeared out of nowhere, telling them they had nowhere to go. Anias said that she would take care of this, so Gumball and Darwin headed on, until they encountered another person, Dark Gumball Evil Darwin. Gumball And Darwin said that They would take care of Them, so Gumball And Darwin went on until he encountered something else. The evil helmet he created, Dark Gumball, Evil Darwin appeared in front of Them. Gumball And Darwin had no choice, he had to fight Them. But all of a sudden, the battle was interupted. Penny And Carrie stood before Gumball And Darwin and told Them to go on, in which They did. Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin tried to stop Them, but Penny And Carrie stopped Them, and told Them to go defeat Rob and get rid or save the Evil Turtle from the Pest Controller.

Anderous was nowhere to be seen. But Gumball And Darwin couldn’t let go of his scent, so They knew where to find him. Gumball And Darwin encountered Anderous at a strange village that looked familiar. It was were Rob was very angry at Gumball and Darwin to bring the babies to the Evil Turtle. Both of them ready’d their swords, and begun their final battle. Swords had clashed on and on numerously. None of them were breaking a drop of sweat. At one point, both had dropped their swords, axiesesnly trying to get them back. Then the final clash had begun. The instense power went on forever. And as Gumball And Darwin had fell to Their, They thought of something he never had before. They knew that Their family and friends were the most important thing to Them. They had helped Them throughout his life, and helped him came over many trials. So using all of his might, he stood up, using all of his power to defeat Anderous Dark Gumball And Evil Darwin. Then They finally delivered the final blow, defeating Anderous once and for all. Anderous said that he would return again in 1,000 years to claim Elmore as his own. But Gumball And Darwin did something that the heroes didn’t do. He used the power of the sword to seal Rob’ life into the Sword of Elmore. Gumball refuses, and Rob calls the Pest Controller to capture the Evil Turtle, revealing his goals, much to Gumball and Darwin’s shock.

When Gumball and Darwin returned to bring the Evil Turtle out of Elmore, Anais then finds out that the hatchlings will take over any territory they can unless they have their mother to guide them, so the only way to stop the hatchlings from destroying Elmore is to find Evil Turtle so she can lead her offsprings to the river. The family finds Evil Turtle captured in Pest Controller’s van and show her to her offsprings, as Rob tries to stop the Wattersons to bring the Evil Turtle as the final attempt, but it was too late and Rob is possibly attacked by the Evil Turtle’s babies. The plan works, Gumball says goodbye to Evil Turtle and apologizes for never understanding her. The family observes Evil Turtle swimming away with her babies in awe, with Gumball revealing that their pet was never really evil, but simply a caring parent. However, the turtles attack and sink a nearby ship, much to the family’s shock.

In an extended ending, Gumbal and Darwin saw an empty battlefield, filled with nothing but the citizens of Elmore. They saw him walking towards the middle, knowing that he had bring the evil turtle away to the sea, along with her beabies. Also, he saw that no one was killed. They were injured, but not dead. They had felt very happy to see that it was all over. Then the citizens cheered out his name several times, knowing that he was the new heroes of Elmore. Then Penny And Carrie walked toward Them to ask Them something. They wanted to know what he was going to ask Them on the night of the festival. They said that They loved Them, and also said that he always loved Them ever since he meet Them. They said the exact same thing to Them, then they both kissed. Everyone had rejoiced and said that they should a special party for Gumball And Darwin. As so they did.

Animation of The Amazing World of Gumball

The first ten episodes or so were animated slightly differently from the later episodes. All the episodes have mixed media, with CGI dinosaurs, mixed in with claymation balls of clay, and 2D flowers and ghosts. However, the animations of the 2D characters became slightly more jerky and generally cartoony than the first episodes’ more lifelike motions. Gumball’s body also changes in form slightly, with his fangs rounded and his eyes slightly smaller than before, All of which changed by the first season finale, as the animations in the last two episodes seemed less jerky and more lifelike, along with Gumball’s fangs being sharp again and his eyes being bigger. Also, unlike most cartoons, it uses backgrounds from the real world, due to the reason that the creator worked on commercials for the UK before creating the show, learning how to give a realistic feeling to the background.

The Amazing World of Gumball Movie is an upcoming animated family comedy film based on the American Cartoon Network television series The Amazing World of Gumball. The film is produced by Ben Bocquelet and directed by Bocqulelet and Mic Graves, who also directs the television series. The film will be taking place after the events of the sixth season.

The film will feature the voices of Nicolas Cantu, Christian J. Simon, Kyla Rae Kowalewski, Teresa Gallagher and Dan Russell reprising their roles as the Watterson family from the series as the film will feature new characters. It is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and is intentionally scheduled to be released theatrically on May 29, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be released digitally on demand and HBO Max on July 17, 2020.

In March 2018, Bocquelet’s interest in a Gumball movie was seemingly revitalized as he stated that he «might have a good idea» for a movie. [4] He later added that he had two ideas, one for a potential theatrical film and one for a potential direct-to-video film. [5]

On July 21, 2019 during the Comic Con event, the film has been officially announced and the staff said it has already been made.

The Amazing World of Gumball Movie will have it’s theatrical release in the United States and Canada on May 29, 2020 but will not be released in the United Kingdom until June 19, 2020. The first trailer premiered in January 10, 2020. It was revealed that the new trailer for the film will debut during the premiere of Sonic the Hedgehog on February 14, 2020.It is originally scheduled to premiere on April 10, 2020, but Warner Bros. announced that the film’s release date has been pushed back to May 29, 2020 pushing the decision to release it on a summer release more than on a Easter weekend. The Amazing World of Gumball Movie Pushed Back to May 29, 2020. Due to the 2019-2020 coronavirus pandemic, the film’s release date has been delayed once again as the new release date is yet to be announced. On June 2020, it was announced that it will skip it’s theatrical release and will go straight to digital on demand on July 17, 2020 following the success of Scoob!.

Synopsis

After Elmore Junior High was sucked into The Void, the sugar skulls now must save the world from being destroyed. The fate of the universe is now in their hands.

The film opens on an event that happened in 2011, right after Season 1. At The Wattersons house Gumball goes to School. In School Miss Simian says that there’s an earthquake and everyone hides in the classroom and they find out that the earthquake is a portal to the void that is sucking up the whole school. Miss Simian then says that they have to evacuate the school and everyone runs out, except Rachel, who was sucked into the void but no one remembers her. Afrer that we see a montage that show clips from show.

Following the events of The Team find themselves in The Void, only their school remaining. Banana Barbara paints a portal out, but then realizes that this ending is inevitable. Then they hear knocking on the door. They rush to the door and see that a paranoid Rachel is there. She comes in and says that she has been in The Void for eight years.

The gang use Superintendent Evil’s lab as a secret base. Darwin tells Carrie that he has feelings for Rachel and Carrie understands but feels sad. They see that there is damage at the front entrance of the school and they rush to see what it is. Then they get captured by a ship.

Meanwhile, Chi Chi is testing his hologram technology. The Van Shopkeeper says that the technology is perfect for tricking people. William says that he is the one who wants to trick Gumball And his friends into tearing each other apart. Chi Chi’s Mom warns everyone that she has detected the The heroes in a Part Of The Void.

Everyone thinks that it is a bad thing that they are captured by some mysterious spaceship, but the pilot removes his helmet and he is a shark named General Bites-Alot. He flies them to his headquarters and on the way, Johnald Bites-Alot tells the gang that he has no memories outside of The Void. Then they arrive at Bites-Alot HQ. Johnald shows them around and gives them gifts.

The Amazing World of Gumball (also known simply as just Gumball) is a British-American surreal comedy animated television series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network. Produced primarily by Cartoon Network Studios Europe, it first aired on May 3, 2011. [4] The series revolves around the lives of 12-year-old Gumball Watterson, a blue cat, and his goldfish best friend—adoptive brother 10-year-old Darwin, who attend middle school in the fictional city of Elmore. They frequently find themselves involved in various shenanigans around the city, during which time they interact with fellow family members—younger sister Anais, mother Nicole and father Richard—and an extended supporting cast of characters.

Bocquelet based several of the series’ characters on rejected characters from his previous commercial work and making its premise a mixture of «family shows and school shows», which Cartoon Network was heavily interested in. He pitched The Amazing World of Gumball to the network and Turner Broadcastingexecutive Daniel Lennard subsequently greenlit production of the series. It is the first series to be produced by Cartoon Network Studios Europe, and is currently co-produced with Studio SOI in Germany and Great Marlborough Productions Limited.

One unique feature of the series is its lack of stylistic unity. Characters are designed, filmed, and animated using multiple styles and techniques (stylised traditional animation, puppetry, CGI, stop motion, Flash animation, live-action, etc.) [5]

The series has made multiple stylistic changes throughout its production, specifically in the transition between its first and second seasons. Such changes include character redesigns, an increase in the use of VFX, higher quality animation, and a shift towards a much darker, more satirical comedic style.

Ben Bocquelet later stated on September 6, 2016 that the sixth season would be his last time working on the show, but production could continue without him. However, on October 7, 2018, he retweeted an article stating that the sixth season will be the last, though the author of the article made a follow-up article saying that more seasons are still possible. [6] The series is currently on a indefinite hiatus, with its future unclear.

When Cartoon Network Studios Europe was created in 2007, Ben Bocqueletwas hired to help people pitch their projects to the network. However, when the studio decided to have its employees all pitch their own ideas, he decided to take some rejected characters he had created for commercials and put them together in one series set in a school. Daniel Lennard, vice president of Original Series and Development at Turner Broadcasting System Europe, was impressed by the premise and approved production of the series. The first series to be produced by Cartoon Network Studios Europe, thirty-six episodes were produced for its first season in collaboration with Studio SOI, Dublin-based Boulder Media Limited, and Dandelion Studios

The series revolves around the life of a 12-year-old cat named Gumball Watterson (Logan Grove, seasons 1–2 and season 3 episode: «The Kids»; Jacob Hopkins, the remainder of season 3 to season 5 episode «The Copycats»; Nicolas Cantu took over from him to season six; Duke Cutler from «The Gumball Chronicles» onward) and his frequent shenanigans in the fictional American city of Elmore, accompanied by his adopted goldfish brother and best friend Darwin (Kwesi Boakye, season 1–2 and season 3 episode: «The Kids»; Terrell Ransom Jr., the remainder of season 3 to season 5 episode «The Copycats»; Donielle T. One prominent feature of the series since its third season is «The Void», a dimension inside of Elmore where all the universe’s mistakes reside. This includes references to aspects of reality as well as in-series elements. Rob (Charles Philipp, David Warner for episodes «The Nemesis» to «The Disaster», Hugo Harrison from «The Rerun» onwards) is a background character from the first two seasons who became trapped in The Void after becoming «irrelevant». He later escapes in Season 3, after which he becomes Gumball’s nemesis and main antagonist. He is shown to be aware of his fictional existence in the Season 4 episode «The Disaster», and his hatred towards Gumball is a result of his role as the protagonist.

On September 17, 2015, series creator Ben Bocquelet announced on his Twitter page that a crossover episode with an unknown show would air as part of the fifth season. This turned out to be the episodes, «The Puppets», which features characters and settings from Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared. Additionally, «The Copycats» featured the characters interacting with ones similar to those from Miracle Star, a Chinese clone of the show.

«The Boredom» featured characters from Clarence, Regular Show, and Uncle Grandpa making cameo appearances.

Waiting for Gumball is a series of thirteen shorts based on The Amazing World of Gumball, or more specifically, «The Puppets».

Darwin’s Yearbook

A six-episode miniseries called Darwin’s Yearbook aired on Cartoon Network from December 14 to December 28, 2019. The miniseries features Darwin attempting to complete Elmore Junior High’s yearbook by examining who he thinks should fill up the best spot. The miniseries predominantly consists of recycled clips from previous episodes of the original series presented in a clip show style.

The Gumball Chronicles

Another series of clip show episodes titled, The Gumball Chronicles, premiered on October 5, 2020, with The Curse of Elmore. On November 2, 2020, four more episodes (each beginning with Vote Gumball. and) themed around the 2020 United States presidential election were aired back-to-back.

In an interview with The Times newspaper, series creator Ben Bocquelet mentioned plans for a feature film based on the series. However, after Bocquelet announced his departure from the show following the sixth season, he stated that he doubted a film would be made.

On September 29, 2018, during a Q&A with the series director Mic Graves at Cartoon Network UK’s 25th anniversary screening, he confirmed that a script for The Amazing World of Gumball film is in the works. He also said that he hopes for the film to happen. Bocquelet retweeted a tweet which states that the script for a film based on The Amazing World of Gumball is being written, however it was then unknown if the film would actually be made. After the season six finale «The Inquisition», was met with mixed reviews from fans of the series due to its cliffhanger ending, Bocquelet stated it was not his choice to conclude the episode that way, adding that it would be resolved if a film based on the series were produced.

On February 17, 2021, WarnerMedia announced that a television film was in development under the working title The Amazing World of Gumball Movie. On September 21, 2021, Cartoon Network announced that the upcoming film had been officially greenlit under the title The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie!, with original series creator Ben Bocquelet serving as director and executive producer. The movie will focus on Gumball’s biggest fan finding a missing episode from the television show and accidentally opening a portal that connects Gumball’s cartoon world to his own. After meeting the characters, he’ll team up with Gumball, Darwin, Anais, Richard, and Nicole to try and save Elmore from a nefarious menace looking to overtake the town. The movie will act as the «epic conclusion» to the original series, but also establish the world for a new accompanying show with the working title The Amazing World of Gumball: The Series. The movie as well as the new series will be released on Cartoon Network and HBO Max.

When Anais is a newborn baby, Gumball and Darwin become jealous of their new sibling, and spark a baby war.

When Gumball and Darwin track a woman emerging from their home, they discover her to be a member of a gang of wise-cracking elderly friends; as they get closer and closer to her life, they realize they may know her already.

After serving detention with the Bomb Kid, Darwin becomes his target, but his plan backfires when Darwin ruins his life.

Gumball and Darwin want to veg out all day, but their plans go awry and they have to save the rest of the family.

Gumball and Darwin are joking around, but when Tobias joins in and makes fun of Gumball, he’s offended; they explain to Tobias that he needs to be higher on Gumball’s friend list to make those jokes.

«Удивительный мир Гамбола» — собрание отвергнутых идей

Удивительный мир Гамбола—один из моих любимых мультсериалов, ору с каждой серии.

Как же этот дурашливый мультфильм смог собрать вокруг себя такую прочную фанбазу?

3 мая 2011 года в эфире Cartoon Network состоялась премьера мультсериала «Удивительный мир Гамбола» (The Amazing World of Gumball). Довольно быстро он набрал популярность не только среди детей, но и у любителей анимации всех возрастов.

В центре сюжета «Удивительного мира Гамбола» синий кот Гамбол, его сводный брат-рыбка Дарвин и их семья: младшая сестра Анаис (крольчиха), постоянно работающая мама Николь (кошка) и ленивый отец Ричард (кролик).

Гамбол и Дарвин постоянно ввязываются в забавные истории, в которых часто оказываются и их одноклассники из средней школы маленького выдуманного городка Элмора.

Создатель мультфильма и автор дизайна всех персонажей — Бен Боклет. Одной из главных особенностей шоу является отсутствие единства стиля — все персонажи нарисованы и анимированны по-разному, потому что изначально они были героями рекламных роликов. Однажды Боклет пришёл в Cartoon Network с идеей объединить всех персонажей в один мультсериал. Каналу эта идея понравилась, и работа закипела.

Интересно, что когда делали эпизоды, не было разработанного набора персонажей. Когда писали сюжет, думали кто нам нужен, например, нужен лысый – ага, берем того-то.

Так же обрабатывалось большим количеством аниматоров – 22 2D и 2 3D. Это в Лондоне. Еще в Германии. В общей сложности 62 2D аниматора и 10 3D.

Изначально Дарвин (оранжевая рыбка) должен был быть персонажем в 3D, а вся остальная семья в 2D. Но это создало столько проблем в производственной части, что в итоге отказались от нее.

Эти серии я могу пересматривать очень много раз, они очень смешные и интресные.

Они все равно пошутили на эту тему

Не смог смотреть этот сервелат. Перемешали все, 3д, 2д, покадровую, пластелиновую. Похоже на отрыжку анимации.

Даже Р34 по гамболу разочаровывает в плане качества рисовки.

Ну, на своего зрителя значит. Я более классический в этом плане. Мне либо 2д либо 3д. Не смешивать котлеты с мухами

Ну ты просто не распробовал. Поначалу смотрится странно, а потом становится офигенно. Такой подход развязывает аниматором руки и дает вытворять любую дичь, что они и делают.

Я тоже. Как эксперимент это любопытно, конечно, но в итоге в нем неоднородно все, включая качество.

Я конечно староват уже, но это один из немногих современных мультов, который я с удовольствием смотрю со своими детьми. Жаль что CN от нас уехал. Хороший был канал 🙁 Детям сложно конечно объяснить куда делись CN и Nickelodeon, а остался фуфловый Мульт.

ilook tv за 1$ в месяц и дети дальше смотрят все что до этого и даже больше.

Сам искал как дальше Paramount Comedy смотреть, оказывается каналы так и работают. Только трансляции из других стран русскоговорящих (Грузия, Молдова, Литва). Вот на днях смотрел как раз Гамбола по CN.

Можно даже и не платить ничего, много публичных самообновляемых IPTV плейлистов. Нужно только устройство позволяющее их воспроизвести.

Самый популярный вариант это ТВ с андроидом или отдельный тв бокс с андроидом + OTT Navigator. На настройку уйдет минут 10-15 максимум.

Оу, еее. Разобрался с ОТТ и с ilook tv. Это просто супер. Полный набор за копейки. Даже слишком много каналов, хорошо что есть редактор.

а смысл? через 3-5лет функционал вышитого, ограниченного и тормозного смарта в тв превратится в тыкву и всё.
пойдешь опять тв покупать? 🙂
ведроид стоит 50уе и дает полную свободу в софте, раз в 3 года покупаешь современный и радуешься.

Ну меня мало интересует функциональность самого тв. Нужно всего одно приложение с каналами. Но важно чтобы телевизор красиво на стене без проводов смотрелся. А в квартире 5 телевизоров. Прятать пять коробок не хотелось и так еще у двух тв приставки игровые, да и возиться с двумя пультами. Короче мне с просто тв сильно удобнее.

Один из лучших сериалов что смотрел, юмор и анимация выше всяческих похвал.

Gumball: Ah, nothing like a normal day to spend.

(Anais enters the room)

Anais: Gumball, no day is a normal day for us. There’s always mutant 8-bit spiders, our next-door neighbors, our MOM and crazy cyclops robots! And trust me, I made a list.

(Gumball sees that the list is tiny print, with five different papers glued and taped together)

Gumball: Then we just have to wait until something happens.

(Gumball takes out a book and reads it)

Gumball: Huh? «There was once an evil vortex that engulfed the regular sun, two dimensions were mixed, but then it went back up, the dimensions were back to normal, but the next time it happens it will be tragic, as it is rare to ever find your way back. If it happens you’ll find yourself in a world with normal things, no space aliens, no 8-bit spiders, just average people with their jobs, and with kids and houses. There will still be robberies but trust us, it will be good.». Creepy.

(Nicole opens the door)

Nicole: You must be the new neighbor! Come in! Who are you, again?

Nicole: Yes, erm. Krados.

Krados: No, in caps lock, say it with me now, KRADOS!
