The campaign is all complimentary.

27 ноября объявили победителей одной из самых престижных международных премий в туриндустрии World Travel Awards 2020. Москва второй год подряд получила главный приз в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление. Город», обойдя Лондон, Нью-Йорк, Париж, Санкт-Петербург, Рио-де-Жанейро и другие ведущие мегаполисы мира.

В этом году из-за сложной эпидемиологической ситуации церемония награждения прошла в формате онлайн-трансляции из Москвы. В течение часа были названы победители премии в ключевых номинациях, среди которых оказались самые привлекательные для путешественников города, достопримечательности, лучшие туроператоры, авиакомпании, курорты и отели.

В 2020 году в гранд-финале самой престижной премии в сфере туризма World Travel Awards российская столица была представлена сразу в семи номинациях. Среди них «Лучшее направление в сфере делового туризма», «Лучшее направление для сити-брейка», «Лучшее туристское направление. Город», «Лучшее культурное направление. World Travel Awards назвала «лучших» в 2021 году

World Travel Awards определила победителей 2021 года – назвала лучшую авиакомпанию, лучший аэропорт, лучшее направление и других «лучших».

Так, лучшим направлением для отдыха признали Мальдивы, для путешествий – Чили. В Европе самой топовой локацией оказалась Греция.

Победу в номинации «Лидирующее направление городского туризма» забрал Санкт-Петербург. А Москва оказалась идеальным направлением для сити-брейка.

Лучший остров в 2021-м – Мадейра – любимая локация digital nomads. Но если любишь пляжный отдых, лучше ехать в Португалию, в регион Алгарве – именно его оценило международное жюри.

Лучшая авиакомпания года (кстати, не только этого) – Emirates, а лучший аэропорт – в Дубае. В Европе победителями стали British Airways и аэропорт в Цюрихе соответственно.

Главной достопримечательностью 2021 года назвали Мачу-Пикчу в Перу. Европейское must-visit место – Ирландский музей эмиграции EPIC.

В Дубае 22 октября объявлены победители европейского этапа международной премии World Travel Awards (WTA), считающейся «Оскаром» в сфере туризма. Петербург был номинирован в шести основных категориях.

По итогам открытого голосования на сайте WTA Санкт-Петербург выиграл сразу в трех номинациях. Так, Санкт-Петербург признали Ведущим городом Европы с культурно-историческим наследием 2021 (Europe’s Leading Heritage Destination 2021) и Ведущим городом Европы для непродолжительных поездок 2021 (Europe’s Leading City Break Destination 2021).

Городу удалось обойти таких конкурентов как Париж, Лондон, Рим, Венеция, Лондон, Берлин, Барселона, Амстердам, Лиссабон.

МАРКЕТИНГОВАЯ КАМПАНИЯ ПЕТЕРБУРГА НАЗВАНА ЛУЧШЕЙ В ЕВРОПЕ

Международные эксперты высоко оценили и маркетинговые усилия по продвижению Петербурга как безопасного и гостеприимного туристического направления, а также как города для многочисленных возвратных поездок. Столь авторитетная награда за продвижение присуждена городу на Неве впервые. Тем ценнее это признание: в условиях пандемии и закрытых границ Комитет по развитию туризма Санкт-Петербурга активно работает над формированием отложенного спроса на зарубежном и внутренних рынках, уделяя повышенное внимание безопасному пребыванию туристов.

САНКТ-ПЕТЕРБУРГУ НУЖНА ЭЛЕКТРОННАЯ ВИЗА

О высоком престиже международной награды говорят и ведущие туроператоры по внутреннему и въездному туризму.

Москва победила в двух номинациях европейского этапа World Travel Awards

Москва выиграла в двух номинациях в сфере туризма в рамках европейского этапа конкурса World Travel Awards. Об этом в понедельник, 2 ноября, сообщили учредители награды на сайте мероприятия.

Москва стала победительницей в номинациях «Лучшее туристическое направление в Европе. Город» и «Лучшее туристическое направление для изучения культурного наследия в Европе».

Столица России также была представлена в категории «Лучшее направление фестивального и событийного туризма в Европе», но в этой премии победу одержала Барселона. Победитель определялся голосованием на официальном сайте награды.

«В 2020 году рекордное число пользователей приняло участие в голосовании World Travel Awards. Это показывает, что желание путешествовать никогда не было сильнее и что индустрию туризма ждет светлое будущее с учетом восстановления мировой экономики», — отметилучредитель премии Грэм Кук.

В 2019 году Москва в рамках World Travel Awards выиграла в категории «Город». В текущем году российская столица также претендует на победу в этой категории.

Победителей международного конкурса World Travel Awards объявят на финальной онлайн-церемонии, которая состоится 27 ноября.

Кроме того, в 2020 году российская авиакомпания «Аэрофлот», которая победила в номинациях «Лидирующий авиационный бренд», «Авиакомпания Европы с лучшим бизнес-классом» и «Лучшая авиакомпания Европы для путешествий в Азию». Madeira to welcome World Travel Awards in 2019

Madeira has been revealed as the host for the World Travel Awards (WTA) Europe Gala Ceremony 2019.

The Portuguese destination, which has taken the title of Europe’s Leading Island Destination for the past five years, will use the event to boost its profile on the international stage.

Madeira Tourist Board will welcome hundreds of industry leaders to the red-carpet event, on 8 th June 2019, when Madeira will celebrate one of its major events, The Atlantic Festival, which marks the start of Madeira’s summer season.

This announcement was earlier confirmed by Madeira Regional Secretary for Tourism & Culture, Paula Cabaço, to the newspaper Diário de Notícias.

She stated: “Hosting this event is of great importance, not only for the relevance of what this award involves, but also for the overall number of European tourist destinations which will be present at this ceremony.

“It is an extraordinary and unprecedented opportunity to promote Madeira, as well as to optimise its tourism potential abroad.”

Cabaço added: “Even though this has been an aspiration on our part for quite some time, the details of the WTA 2019, were finalized during the 24th edition of the World Travel Awards Grand Final, held in Vietnam, last December.

Christopher Frost, Group Vice President, WTA said: “It will be an honour for us to take the WTA Europe Gala Ceremony to Madeira for the first time. This Atlantic jewel is an island blessed with a sublime tropical climate, a fascinating culture, delicious gourmet food and incredible flower and fauna. I greatly look forward to joining the international hospitality elite there next year.”

The WTA ceremony will be held at the famous Belmond Reid’s Palace, a breath-taking island retreat overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

World Travel Awards winners triumph in Lima, Peru

Mexico, Peru and Ecuador were among the big names to emerge victorious during the World Travel Awards South & Central America Gala Ceremony 2013, held at the Huacca Pucllana Temple, Lima on July 20th July 2013.

The industry elite, including chief executives of leading travel companies, government ministers and tourism board chiefs from across the continent attended the magnificent gala event hailed as ‘the Oscars of the travel industry’.

World Travel Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and is acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel accolade, celebrating those brands which are pushing the boundaries of industry excellence in product and service.

Quito, Ecuador was one of the shining stars on the night, capturing the title of South America’s Leading Destination, while other winners from across the region saw South America’s Leading New Hotel go to Hilton Miraflores Lima, while South America’s Leading Business Hotel went to Swissotel Lima.

About Huaca Pucllana temple

Huaca – In ancient Peru, a “huaca” was the term granted to a river, a tree or a mountain attributed with magical powers if the spot was inhabited by a deity or an ancestor; along the coast the term was given to stepped pyramid-shaped temples. This complex was a ceremonial and administrative centre run by the Lima culture (400 AD), which controlled the Lima Valley. The Huaca Pucllana features an on-site museum and areas of research, conservation and restoration, and cultural promotion. The museum is working to integrate the site into the community starting with schoolchildren, in a bid to create awareness of the importance of Peru’s archaeological and natural heritage. Стали известны победители регионального европейского этапа международной туристической премии World Travel Awards 2020. Об этом сообщил Сергей Собянин на своей официальной странице в соцсети «ВКонтакте». Москва выиграла главную награду в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление в Европе. Город», обойдя ведущие европейские мегаполисы. Среди них Барселона, Лондон, Париж, Рим, Венеция, Санкт-Петербург и другие. Кроме того, столица России победила в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление для изучения культурного наследия в Европе».

Российская столица была представлена в трех номинациях: «Лучшее туристское направление в Европе. Город», «Лучшее направление фестивального и событийного туризма в Европе» и «Лучшее туристское направление для изучения культурного наследия в Европе». Еще в одной — «Лучшая государственная городская туристская организация в Европе» — участвовал Комитет по туризму города Москвы. Открытое голосование проходило на официальном сайте премии до 17 августа. Жюри учитывало мнение как экспертов туристической отрасли, так и путешественников.

В этом году из-за сложной эпидемиологической ситуации города — хозяева региональных этапов World Travel Awards 2020 приняли решение отказаться от проведения церемоний награждения. Победителей будут объявлять в течение ноября на официальном сайте премии.

В финале премии Москва номинирована сразу в семи номинациях: «Лучшее направление в сфере делового туризма», «Лучшее направление для сити-брейка», «Лучшее туристское направление. Город», «Лучшее культурное направление. Москва второй год подряд получила главный приз в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление. Город», обойдя Лондон, Нью-Йорк, Париж, Санкт-Петербург, Рио-де-Жанейро и другие ведущие мегаполисы мира. Россия в целом победила в номинации «Лидирующее культурное направление», а Санкт-Петербург — в категории «Город» этой же номинации.

В этом году курорт Mriya Resort & SPA победил сразу в трёх номинациях: ведущий мировой курорт, ведущий мировой премиальный курорт для отдыха с семьей, ведущий мировой оздоровительный курорт.

World Travel Awards 2022 без участия России

Премия World Travel Awards объявила об открытии в Европе голосования по номинациям. Оно продлится до 8 августа 2022 года. Увы, но России среди соискателей престижной награды нет.

Премия вручается за выдающиеся достижения в области путешествий и туризма с 1993 года. Профессионалы тревел-индустрии, журналисты и путешественники могут отдать свои голоса за любимые бренды. Лидеры будут объявлены на церемонии, которая состоится в новом испанском отеле Hilton Mallorca Galatzo в октябре 2022 года. Популярные номинации: авиация, достопримечательности, круизы, отели и курорты, тревел-агентства и другие.

«На фоне долгожданного восстановления индустрии путешествий и туризма, конкуренция за первое место стала более острой, чем когда-либо прежде», — считает Грэм Кук, основатель WTA.

Напомним, что в 2021 году Россия активно участвовала в премии World Travel Awards. Москва победила в номинации «Лучшее направление для коротких поездок». Санкт-Петербург одержал победу в номинации «Ведущее городское направление мира 2021». Москва и Санкт-Петербург — среди победителей премии World Travel Awards. О том, почему это важно, как двум столицам удалось завоевать престижную награду и что делать, чтобы удержать этот статус, — в материале РИА Новости.

Вышла в отличники

Ежегодную World Travel Awards не зря называют «туристическим Оскаром». Для профессионалов индустрии и для городов-номинантов это большое событие. Торжественная церемония, на которую гости съезжаются со всего мира, продолжается больше часа.

В этом году «кочующую» премию впервые принимала Москва. Но из-за пандемии COVID-19 награждение прошло онлайн. Более того, даже ведущие Ингеборга Дапкунайте и Юрий Колокольников не пересекались: одна выступала из информационного центра в парке «Зарядье», другой — под аккомпанемент оркестра из зала «Центрального делового пространства».

В этом году Россия победила в номинации «Ведущее культурное направление в мире» (World’s Leading Cultural Destination), опередив Францию, Италию, Индию и другие страны. Москва, где в 2019 году побывало 25 миллионов путешественников, удостоена Гран-при в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление. Город» (World’s Leading City Destination). Хотя конкуренты были серьезные: в частности, Париж, Лондон, Лиссабон, Дубай, Гонконг.

«Мы убедились, насколько важны путешествия и как это плохо, когда против своей воли граждане вынуждены оставаться дома. После тяжелого кризиса в туристической индустрии обязательно наступит новый подъем», — отметил мэр Москвы Сергей Собянин.

В целом непростой 2020-й неожиданно оказался для столицы достаточно удачным: Москва вышла из рейтинга ста самых дорогих городов мира по версии Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) и оказалась сразу на 25-й строчке в списке Global Finance лучших мегаполисов для жизни.

Самая культурная столица

Санкт-Петербург победил в номинации «Лидирующее культурное направление в мире», обойдя 14 конкурентов (среди них те же Париж, Лондон и Нью-Йорк, а также Рим, Венеция, Рио-де-Жанейро и другие).

В прошлом году Северную столицу посетили более 10,4 миллиона туристов, в том числе почти пять миллионов иностранцев.

«Мы ожидали победы… Культурная и туристская география Петербурга расширяется», — подчеркнул губернатор Александр Беглов. Он отметил, что в городе появились современные достопримечательности — «Лахта-центр» и стадион на Крестовском острове. Также стартовал проект по созданию световых проекций на стенах зданий в историческом центре. Так, на доме, где жил Достоевский, теперь можно увидеть его портрет.

Уже несколько лет действует маршрут «Серебряное ожерелье» — северный ответ Золотому кольцу. «Мы всегда рады видеть гостей, потому что отдаем им кусочек нашей души. Петербург любим во всем мире, и теперь это официально признано», — прокомментировал победу директор Эрмитажа Михаил Пиотровский.

Поздравления пришли и от руководителя Ростуризма Зарины Догузовой: «Северная столица дает любому туристу шанс ощутить глубокую культурно-историческую связь Востока и Запада, России и Европы, прошлого и настоящего. Больше такого нет нигде».

Электронная виза и кэшбэки

«World Travel Awards — действительно признание на мировом уровне, знак качества для туристов», — подчеркивает вице-президент ассоциации туроператоров России Дмитрий Горин. — Хотя коронавирус спутал нам в этом году все карты, победы не неожиданные, но абсолютно заслуженные».

С 2021-го в России стартует механизм единой электронной визы, которая оформляется на сайте за четыре дня и стоит 40 долларов. Этому предшествовал удачный эксперимент в Калининграде, Петербурге и на Дальнем Востоке. Документ позволяет гостям из 52 государств путешествовать по стране до 16 дней. На эту визу рассчитывают прежде всего в Москве и Петербурге — крупных транспортных и культурных хабах.

«Это крайне важное для индустрии нововведение, которое поможет, сняв бюрократические формальности, существенно увеличить приток иностранных путешественников. Причем не только в столицы, но и ввести новые маршруты, связывающие с другими городами», — уверен Дмитрий Горин.

Что касается внутреннего туризма, то, по его словам, программы уже адаптировали под новые реалии: «Мы стараемся проводить максимальное число экскурсий на свежем воздухе, работают катки, а автобусные туры проводятся с соблюдением всех требований». Кроме того, в России с 15 октября начался второй этап акции продажи путевок с возвратом до 20 процентов их стоимости.

Также в этом году в помощь туристам открылся сервис Russpass, где можно выбрать готовый маршрут или составить собственный, забронировать отель, приобрести билеты на самолет или поезд, а также на экскурсии, в музеи и театры.

«Этот год оказался в плане путешествий очень трудным, но надеемся, что все плохое останется позади», — сказал ведущий церемонии Юрий Колокольников.

Также награды в этом году получили несколько российских компаний. Две мировых премии у «Аэрофлота» (World’s Leading Airline Brand, World’s Leading Airline — Business Class). У гостиницы «Мрия» (Ялта) несколько наград (World’s Leading Leisure Resort, World’s Leading Luxury Family Resort & Villas, World’s Leading Wellness Resort). Премию получила и российская компания «Академсервис» (World’s Leading Entertainment Travel Management Company).

Voting opens for World 2021 categories

World Travel Awards – the global initiative to recognize and reward excellence in travel and tourism – has opened voting for the prestigious World categories of its 2021 programme.

Nominees feature the winners of WTA’s regional categories (Europe, Asia, Oceania, Middle East, South America, Central America, North America, Africa, Indian Ocean & Caribbean) going head-to-head for the highest accolade in the industry.

Voting is now open and runs until 24 th October 2021.

Travel industry professionals, the media and consumers worldwide are invited to cast their votes for travel brands that they consider to be the very best in the world. The nominee gaining the most votes in a category will be named as the winner.

The winners will be unveiled on 16 th December 2021.

В номинации «Лидирующее направление городского туризма в Европе – 2019» снова победил Санкт-Петербург. Город на Неве обошел Амстердам, Барселону и Париж, которые претендовали на эти лавры.

Лидирующим пляжным направлением назвали регион Алгарве в Португалии, лучшим островом – португальскую Мадейру, а ведущим курортом – Forte Village на итальянском острове Сардиния. Главным круизным направлением стала Венеция (где, кстати, недавно на этой почве поднялся шум), а лучшей круизной компанией – Norwegian Cruise Line.

Лучшим авиационным брендом Европы признали «Аэрофлот». Российской авиакомпании достались также призы за лучший бизнес-класс и лучшие перелеты из Европы в Азию. Лучшим аэропортом Европы стал Международный аэропорт Цюриха, а лучшей авиакомпанией – Turkish Airlines. Лучший лоукостер – Norwegian. Лучший региональный авиаперевозчик – испанский Vueling Airlines.

Самой интересной туристической достопримечательностью Европы в 2019 году признали Ирландский музей эмиграции EPIC. В борьбе за туристический «Оскар» он обошел греческий Акрополь, Букингемский дворец и даже Эйфелеву башню.

Эксперты World Travel Awards признали Москву лучшим городом для туристов

Москва стала победителем международной туристской премии World Travel Awards в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление. Город». Об этом сообщается на сайте премии.

«Только что завершилась церемония награждения победителей, где нам вручили «туристический Оскар» в главной номинации — «Лучшее туристское направление. Город», — написал в своем Instagram мэр столицы Сергей Собянин.

Мэр поблагодарил экспертов, назвав их решение высокой оценкой властей города и всех москвичей. Он заявил, что с начала текущего года столицу посетили 19,5 млн туристов.

Вместе с Москвой в этой номинации были представлены Санкт-Петербург, Лиссабон, Лондон, Нью-Йорк, Париж, Рио-де-Жанейро, Сидней и другие крупные города мира, отмечается на сайте мэрии.

Организаторы премии заявили Москву в пяти номинациях: «Лучшее туристское направление. Город», «Лучшее направление фестивального и событийного туризма», «Лучшее направление для спортивного туризма», «Лучшее направление в сфере делового туризма» и «Лучшее культурное направление. Город».

Церемония награждения победителей прошла 28 ноября в городе Маскат в Омане. Следующий финал премии пройдет в 2020 году в Москве.

Отметим, что сентябре этого года в столице впервые прошла специальная выездная программа Генассамблеи Всемирной туристской организации ООН (UNWTO). На ней, в частности, было объявлено о запуске имиджевой программы «Амбассадоры Москвы». Всего в деловых сессиях, официальных встречах и культурных мероприятиях в течение двух дней приняли участие более 270 представителей профильных министерств, ведомств и организаций в сфере туризма из 60 стран. Выступая тогда перед делегатами, вице-мэр Сергунина рассказала, что значительного роста туропотока в Москве удалось добиться благодаря программам развития города.

Теперь Москву ежегодно отмечают в различных туристических рейтингах: побывать у нас, к примеру, рекомендовали National Geographic, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Telegraph, Lonely Planet.

Сейчас в Москве работают больше 1,7 тыс. отелей, прошедших процедуру квалификации и получивших соответствующую категорию. В них 93 тыс. номеров, рассчитанных на 233 тыс. мест. Это почти вдвое больше по сравнению с 2010 годом.

44 гостиницы более чем на 13 тысяч номеров представляют известные международные бренды: Four Seasons, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn, InterContinental, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Radisson, Ritz Carlton, Swissotel, Pentahotel.

Премия World Travel Awards: Москва выиграла туристический «Оскар»

Москва выиграла премию World Travel Awards в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление. Город». Помимо российской столицы, в этой номинации были представлены крупнейшие города мира: Лондон, Нью-Йорк, Лиссабон, Париж, Санкт-Петербург, Сидней, Рио-де-Жанейро и другие. Об этом сообщил Сергей Собянин на своей странице в соцсети «В контакте».

Москву номинировали на премию World Travel Awards сразу в трех основных номинациях: «Лучшее направление фестивального и событийного туризма» (World’s Leading Festival & Event Destination), «Лучшее направление для спортивного туризма» (World’s Leading Sports Tourism Destination) и «Лучшее туристское направление. Город» (World’s Leading City Destination).

Организаторы премии также заявили Москву еще в двух номинациях: «Лучшее направление в сфере делового туризма» (World’s Leading Business Travel Destination) и «Лучшее культурное направление. Город» (World’s Leading Cultural City Destination).

Международную премию World Travel Awards учредили в 1993 году. Она считается одной из наиболее престижных наград в области туризма. Премию также называют туристическим «Оскаром».

Награждение победителей World Travel Awards состоялось 28 ноября на гранд-финале, который прошел в городе Маскат (Оман). В 2019 году премия вручается более чем в 80 номинациях. Наградами отмечают лучшие отели, авиалинии, а также наиболее привлекательные города, курорты и достопримечательности. Всего в 2019 году было заявлено более одной тысячи участников.

В 2020 году гранд-финал World Travel Awards впервые пройдет в Москве. Такое решение приняли организаторы премии.

Москва заняла шестое место в рейтинге лучших городов мира по версии международного агентства Resonance Consultancy. Столица обогнала Чикаго, Сингапур, Дубай и Сан-Франциско. В 2018 году в Москву приехали 23,5 миллиона туристов, из них 5,5 миллиона — иностранцы.

Самые частые гости Москвы сегодня — молодежь до 34 лет, так называемые миллениалы (те, кто родился в период с 1981 по 1996 год). Они едут в столицу за впечатлениями: их привлекают многочисленные фестивали, спортивные мероприятия и события культурной жизни. Среди российских туристов их доля — 77,5 процента, среди туристов из дальнего зарубежья — 63,6 процента.

Вклад туризма в бюджетную систему города по итогам 2018 года достиг 118 миллиардов рублей. Таких поступлений от туристической сферы в 2010 году было примерно в четыре раза меньше.

Компания «Аэрофлот» вновь получила звание «Лидирующий авиационный бренд Европы» в рамках престижной международной премии World Travel Awards 2021. Церемония награждения национального перевозчика состоялась в павильоне России на Всемирной выставке «Экспо-2020» в Дубае. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба компании.

«Также в рамках премии были отмечены российские города: Москва победила в номинации «Лучшее туристское направление в Европе. Город», а Санкт-Петербург стал лидером в категории «Лучшее направление для сити-брейка в Европе». Награда World Travel Awards учреждена в Великобритании в 1993 году. Ежегодно она отмечает лучших представителей глобальной индустрии путешествий, гостиничного бизнеса и гражданской авиации. Победители определяются по итогам онлайн-голосования, в котором участвуют сотни тысяч профессионалов и потребителей туристических услуг», — говорится в сообщении.

Награды в других номинациях получили европейские лидеры в области сервиса, в их числе — Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, TAP Air Portugal, Virgin Atlantic Airways.

«Компания «Аэрофлот» традиционно получает высокие оценки как профессионального сообщества, так и путешественников. Ранее перевозчик в девятый раз был признан лучшей авиакомпанией Восточной Европы по версии главной авиационной премии мира Skytrax World Airline Awards 2021», — отмечается в сообщении.
