A brief description of the manga Call of the Spear:

San-gun, the owner of the mountain, was reborn as a tiger and became a spiritual creature. A girl visits San-gun, who lived in peace, and says she will serve him. San-gun tries to drive her out, but she has nowhere to go back. San-gun finally decided to take back the girl. And there are countless threats to him.

if anyone is wondering. the spear is explained on ch 63.

Starts as cute, care-for-child type of story, then devolves into stupid harem cultivator stuff. You’ve read this story a hundred times already.

Interesting and enjoyable to read. The title makes no sense though.

The title is misleading. Up to the point where i dropped it (ch 45) there’s still no spear lol. The MC is weak and isn’t intriguing at all.

Overall I’d rate it 1/5

it’s good but opponents are too OP. He never won fights by himself and beaten to death and barely won.

I’ll give it a go..

This is an interesting and good manga but as of now I don’t fully like it as all of his opponents are too powerful so he is always beaten really badly or needs someones help to barely defeat his opponent so you can’t truly see his growth in power or character when it’s already 40 chaps in, you only can see that he reached another realm, but it doesn’t feel like he got stronger because every enemy he encounters is always stronger than him. All in all its a great manga if you are tired of the CHOSEN ONE cliche because the mc in this gets by only with the help of others which doesn’t make him special, but it also makes it boring as he never truly overcomes his limits as he has someone help him. 4/5 stars
