Why? Because Guy-On-Guy Is Hot and that’s all there is to it.
Also called Yaoi, Boy’s Love is a subgenre of romance focusing on male homosexuality, for a presumptively female audience. In a typical plot, two boys fall in love and the story shows their progress as a couple. Sometimes it’s just part of the scenery, although most series directly foster what the audience expects and likes.
Boys’ Love series are made by women for women, though it’s not uncommon for them to draw a male gay/bisexual audience. Because of this, most Boys’ Love works have idealized male characters who are sensitive and nurturing. They are usually drawn in a romantic style and exist in a world where homosexuality is considered no more unusual or transgressive than heterosexuality. The genre includes all ranges of explicitness, one of the reasons stories aimed at a more mature audience don’t make it to television often.
It’s sometimes conjectured that gay romance appeals to women because non-female characters aren’t as ‘threatening’ to the audience, nor are the social boundaries the same. Of course, it could also simply mean that if one hot guy is good, two or more are even better. It’s interesting how some viewers, especially male ones, don’t get that, even though the opposite is a well-known phenomenon.
The stories are stereotyped as having a high degree of Melodrama, especially within the younger teenager reading audience; something exploited by the manga translation market. The dynamic of an aggressive partner and a submissive one is so common in the genre that they have become the archetypes for the genre (but remember, Tropes Are Flexible!). Some Slash Fic writers go so far as to feminize the shorter guy to fit this dynamic. Many series that deal with close friendship usually develop a non-canonical Boys Love fandom.

Похоже 2021 год станет годом для адаптаций Boys Love новелл. Еще одна история автора Прист (Priest) будет превращена в дораму. Это одна из ее самых популярных работ — «Убить волка» (杀破狼), историческое фентази о нежном принце и грозном генерале, страдающем приступами слепоты и глухоты.
Что касается актерского состава, то недавнее объявление подтвердило имена ведущих актеров, возглавляющих шоу. Тянь Цзянь Цы сыграет знаменитого полководца Гу Юня, а актер Чэнь Чжэ Юань выступит в роли сына императора Чан Гэна. Ли Хун И и актриса Сунь Ань Кэ довершают основной актерский состав, в роли Чэнь И и Чэнь Цин Цю соответственно.

Hot Boys
The Hot Boys are an American hip-hop group that formed in 1997 and split up in 2001. The group consisted of 4 young rappers from New Orleans who go by the names of: Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk and B.G.
They released three albums in their career called “Get It How U Live!!“, “Guerrilla Warfare” and “Let ‘Em Burn“. All of these albums were successful, especially the “Guerrilla Warfare” project which reached Platinum status in just a few months of being released and topping both the R&B and hip-hop charts. The Hot Boys also recorded a soundtrack for a film they starred in called “Baller Blockin’“, which was a drama, action and comedy movie set in New Orleans and was released back in 2000.
The first time that they met after breaking up in 2001 was when Weezy brought out Juve and B.G. at a show on his “I Am Music” tour in the N.O. back in 2009. Turk was not present due to his incarceration at the time, but he has since been released from jail in October, 2012. There have been rumored talks about a new collaborative project from the Hot Boys, but unfortunately this reunion project looks to have been pushed off the radar after B.G. received a 14 year prison sentence in July, 2012.

Notes: Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., better known by his stage name Lil Wayne, joined the Hot Boys when he was just 15 years old and was the youngest member of the group. Since then, Weezy has founded his own label called Young Money Entertainment and has won four Grammy awards.
B.G.
Real name: Christopher Dorsey
Place of birth: New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America
Notes: Christopher Dorsey, better known by his stage name B.G., is a rapper from the N.O. He is the founder of a label called Chopper City Records and became popular for his hit single “Bling Bling”, which is a term Lil Wayne created. B.G. received a 14 year prison sentence in July, 2012 for a gun charge back in 2008.
Juvenile
Real name: Terius Gray
Place of birth: New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America
Notes: Terius Gray, better known by his stage name Juvenile, is a rapper from New Orleans. Juvie has released eleven solo albums in his music career and is currently working on his twelfth album, which will be distributed by Cash Money Records. He left Cash Money in 2006, but re-signed in 2014.

Of course the stay there is highly unpleasant despite the food, soft beds, warm clothing, and etc….for there are quite a few vicious ghosts in the villa mainly showing up at night. On the last night the fox demon appears to directly kill anyone still among the living after having his fun of tormenting the unlucky humans or at least that was the plan, but that all changes because of Jin Huang.

Парни загорелись идеей создать поп-группу после того, как с ними связались продюсеры, имеющие перспективный музыкальный материал.
Вокалистом сначала выбрали Эндрю Томаса, как человека, имеющего за плечами исполнительский опыт. Певец родился в 1946 году в Лос-Анджелесе, но в поисках свежих впечатлений перебрался в Европу, где и осел на долгие годы. Поначалу парень жил в Англии, но, влюбившись в девушку, переехал в Кельн. Там он посвящал почти все время музыке: умудрялся одновременно выступать в двух разноплановых коллективах и параллельно стоять за диджейским пультом на дискотеках.
Другой участник Тревор Тэйлор до попадания в Bad Boys Blue работал поваром в ресторане, но петь любил всей душой. Он переехал в Германию из Ямайки, где с рождения впитывал ритмы регги, недаром его первый творческий опыт был связан именно с этим жанром музыки. Тревор был моложе Эндрю на 12 лет, что не помешало им стать друзьями. Третий музыкант Джон МакИнери приходился Тэйлору почти ровесником. Парень родился в Ливерпуле, и неудивительно, что песни The Beatles стал петь еще ребенком.
Для выступлений на сцене решили выбрать синие костюмы, отсюда и пришло название Bad Boys Blue, что дословно переводится как “крутые парни в синем”. Поначалу группу хотели назвать Bad Guys, но решили выбрать более мягкий вариант. В 1984 году трио приступило к записи первого сингла, подготовленного продюсерами Тони Хендриком и Кареном ван Хаареном — владельцами независимой студии Coconut. После выхода «L.O.V.E. In My Car», где главную партию исполнял Эндрю Томас, парни стали узнаваемыми фигурами в Кельне, но до статуса звезд им еще было далеко.
Музыканты относились к этому спокойно, поскольку воспринимали участие в группе как хобби, но со временем в их репертуаре появились хиты, которые принесли настоящую популярность. Для того чтобы проект “выстрелил”, продюсеры решились на изменения и на позицию ведущего вокалиста поставили Тревора Тэйлора, чьим голосом исполняется визитная карточка Bad Boys Blue — песня “You’re A Woman”. Позже его на главной позиции заменил Джон МакИнери, что привело к конфликту в коллективе, после чего Тэйлор покинул группу в 1989 году.
Ушедшего исполнителя сменил англичанин Тревор Баннистер, который продержался в составе до 1993 года. Одно время музыканты выступали дуэтом, пока к ним не присоединился Мо Рассел, а затем сменивший его Кевин МакКой.
До 2005 года костяком коллектива оставались Джон и Эндрю, но после обострения разногласий между ними Томас покинул группу. МакИнери продолжал заниматься проектом, и его партнерами на время становились Карлос Феррейра с Мозамбика и рэпер Кенни Krayzee Льюис. Со временем Джон взял Bad Boys Blue целиком на себя, выступая в сопровождении девушек – бэк-вокалисток.
Музыка
Написанием материала для новой группы занялся талантливый продюсер и музыкант Тони Хендрик. Именно он создал для Bad Boys Blue первый сингл, а затем и главный хит “You’re A Woman”. Композиция вышла в мае 1985 года и в одночасье сделала коллектив легендой диско-сцены, попав в топы чартов по всей Европе. Слава ансамбля начала стремительно распространяться, проникнув и на территорию СССР, где трек “перевел” на русский язык одиозный Сергей Минаев.
Песне суждено было стать источником многочисленных кавер-версий. Только сами Bad Boys Blue перепели свой шедевр несколько раз, выпуская год за годом ремиксы и версии в исполнении различных вокалистов — от Тревора Тэйлора до Джона МакИнери. В конце 1990-х на композицию сняли новый клип, в основу которого легла рэп-версия с партиями Эрика Синглтона.
После выхода 3-го сингла “Pretty Young Girl” группа выпустила дебютный альбом, ставший событием. “Hot Girls, Bad Boys” состоял из 8 треков, 3 из которых стали мировыми хитами. Два года коллектив провел в постоянных гастролях, купаясь в обожании поклонников.
Вторая половина 1980-х стала золотой эрой в биографии группы. Музыканты записывают 4 пластинки, и ни одна из них не обходится без знаковых песен, взрывающих хит-парады. В альбоме “Heartbeat” (1986) это трек «I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat (Sunday Girl)», в “Love Is No Crime” (1987) — «Come Back And Stay», в “My Blue World” (1988) — «A World Without You (Michelle)”, а в “The Fifth” (1989) — “A Train To Nowhere”.
В тот же период группа начинает снимать видеоклипы, которые тиражируются поклонниками на любительских VHS. В СССР Bad Boys Blue становятся легендами, с популярностью которых могут посоперничать разве что другие немцы — дуэт Modern Talking. Молодой Олег Газманов беззастенчиво использует в песне “Эскадрон” вступительное ритмичное соло из «I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat», и, похоже, аудиторию это только заводит.
В 1991 году ансамбль впервые приезжает в Россию с концертами, а в 1995-м Кирилл Котельников снимает про кумиров эпохи диско документальный фильм “Bad Boys Blue. Кто они?”. Энергичные треки в ритме европоп покорили россиян раз и навсегда, благодаря чему исполнители могут не беспокоиться о том, что потеряют слушателя.
После того как группу покидает Тревор Тэйлор, Bad Boys Blue вступают в период, в который становятся вынужденным повторением самих себя. В 1990-е у коллектива выходит 8 альбомов, и, пожалуй, только “Kiss” (1993) мог похвастаться оригинальностью и попыткой найти новое звучание. Музыканты меняют лейбл, где создается диск «Bang! Bang! Bang!» (1996), один из немногих, на обложке которого не присутствует фото исполнителей.
В начале 2000-х контракт с группой не подписывала ни одна из студий, и Bad Boys Blue занимались преимущественно гастролями и записью сборников с новыми аранжировками старых песен. Альбом со свежим материалом вышел в 2008 году и назывался “Heart & Soul”. Новинку оценили в России, что немудрено, поскольку несколько треков представляли собой прямое посвящение стране, где популярность группы не угасала.
В 2009 году коллектив представляет сингл “Queen of My Dreams” и приступает к записи юбилейного альбома “25”, вышедшего год спустя. Джон МакИнери подключает к работе над проектами Йоханна Перье, Маттиаса Кейнерстама и старого приятеля Тони Хендрика, стоявшего у основания Bad Boys Blue.
Bad Boys Blue сейчас
Несмотря на то, что главные хиты группы были записаны в самом начале их творческой деятельности, музыканты не переставали записывать альбомы на протяжении многих лет. Последний диск Bad Boys Blue “Heart & Soul” (Recharged) вышел в 2018 году и представил собой обновленную версию одноименной пластинки 2008-го. Вообще обилие ремиксов и ремастерингов отличает дискографию группы, в которой значительная часть материала является аранжировками на старые песни.
Сейчас Джон МакИнери остался единственным участником из “золотого состава”, фактически он в одном лице и представляет собой Bad Boys Blue. Партию бэк-вокала в группе исполняют его жена Сильвия и певица Эдит Миракл.
Коллектив остается востребованным среди многочисленных поклонников, которые приходят на концерты, чтобы под танцевальные ритмичные хиты прошлого вспомнить дни юности. Популярность ретро-шоу в России, странах СНГ, а также в Германии, Польше, Израиле не дает Джону сидеть без дела.
Группа выступает в основном в составе сборных концертов, где вместе с ней зажигают исполнители той эпохи — Modern Talking, C. C. Catch, Boney M и многочисленные звезды 80-х. От артистов не ждут нового материала, предпочитая слушать в их исполнении песни, проверенные временем. В 2019 году Bad Boys Blue поют те же композиции, что и много лет назад: “For Your Love”, “You’re A Woman” и “Lady in black” интересуют публику больше, чем какие бы то ни было творческие эксперименты.
